SCUP update failure: Error and 0x800b0004 and 0x80246002

Hi, I'm trying to get Adobe products using SCCM2012R2 and SCUP 2011.  The site server and distribution point are on the same machine, and the WSUS server sits on a different machine.  We have a root CA which uses AD Certificate Services. 
My code signing certificate comes from that server.
When I deploy my update to the test collection, it fails with Failed to download updates to the WUAgent datastore. Error = 0x800b0004.
On one machine, I get the error with the same text, but the error number is 0x80246002.
Although I don't think it should be necessary, in an attempt to fix this, I did import the code signing certificate to the trusted publishers store on:
The clients to be updated
The site Server
The WSUS Server
This did not change the error message at all.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a fix, I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks for the reply Torsten.  I did import the code signing certificate to the root CA store (although with an ADCS certificate, I don't think this should be necessary), and got the same result.
How do I find out if it's "really trusted"?  Is there a security association that I can check?
I forgot to mention that I did add the "Allow signed content from intranet Microsoft Update service location" GPO to my clients, and it is being applied.

    Do you really mean the Nikon D60 which shipped in 2008? Was it purchased secondhand?
    The Nikon D60 was first supported in Adobe Camera Raw 4.4.
    Photoshop CS4 ships with Camera Raw 5.0 so it can read D60 NEF files out of the box. No updates required.
    If you do mean the D60 then something else must be going on. e.g. are you using Nikon software to transfer files from camera to computer?

    1. Call transaction SMQ1 and check whether all queues in all clients (client = '', queue name 'MCEX') have been processed. To process the queues, start the collective run report for each application in the displayed clients. If you no longer need the data in the BW system, deactivate the relevant extraction queues and DataSource in the LO cockpit (transaction LBWE) and delete the queue entries in transaction SMQ1.

    Unfortunately the check that the system carries out during the upgrade or when you import a Support Package does not display all affected applications. Therefore, Note 1083709 provides a check report that you can use to determine all affected applications and tables or queues.

          RMMR1MRS report when run in background cause update failure errors .
    There are few  below reason for the error log.
    1.  for the PO invoice already generated -  (its right if already invoice generated. should not happen again)
    2.  In  MIGO,  entire  quantity has been reversed  and also invoice generated with zero value - ( its right , should not happen invoice again )
    3. Particular PO line item deleted -  (its right if the PO line item deleted. ERS settlement not require)
    For the all above reason, the update error occurs.  But the mean time  the program  "RMMR1MRS"  should not through the update error log. 
    Note: The job was not terminated due to this update error and also no harm because of the error log
    can you please help on this update failure why it occurs.

    Tried to update the ios so I could download some new apps and Ive had nothing but troubles. I keep getting error code -1 at update and today tried restoring and I received error -35 that pretty much said --ok--Ill restore it, but don't blame me if your ipod doesn't function afterwards. Is anyone familiar of these errors and what theyre caused from? Is iy something I can fix?

  • Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 Update failure- "Error Applying Transforms, verify that the specified...

    I have ignored this issue for long enough.  I have Adobe CS4, with Acrobat Pro version 9.3.4.  Windows 7.  Acrobat updater pops up on my machine, and when I execute the update requested, the updater gives me the update failure message, with code 1604, "error applying transforms."
    I have seen solutions posted for this tranforms message, but it was a problem with Acrobat 8.  I have seen no solutions as of yet for Acrobat 9, so I thought I would post.
    I also tried opening Acrobat 9 Pro, and under the help tab, I initiated "repair".  I get the same transform error message as above.  Any advice anyone?  Should I just uninstall Acrobat 9 Pro and reinstall using my CS4 disk?

    If you have original CD with Acrobat installation, copy all files with extension .mst from this CD to the following location:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Setup Files\[ProductCode]   if this is 64bit system
    or
    C:\Program Files\Acrobat 9.0\Setup Files\[ProductCode]   if this is 32bit system
    where [ProductCode] is a unique value which identifies your language version of Acrobat 9 Pro.
    If this is EFG version, it should be {AC76BA86-1033-F400-7760-000000000004}
    If location does not exist, create it.
    2. If you do not have original CD and cannot find .mst files, provide the exact Product name including language and I will provide further instructions.

    Whenever a global correlation update fails, an evError event is generated. The error message is included in sensor statistics. The following conditions result in a status message with the severity of Error:
    •The sensor is unlicensed
    •No DNS or HTTP proxy server is configured
    •The manifest exchange failed
    •An update file download failed
    •Applying or committing the update failed

  • CS6 Update Failure - Error U43M1D204 (new content added to question)

    Web and Design Premium install.  I get this error when running an Adobe Application Manager update in any of the products.  Per one tech note  found, I deleted the local profile folder for the logged on admin user where the updates are downloaded and then applied (AAMUpdater).  Same issue.  The logs in that folder don't shed any light on the problem that I can see.
    Addition:  This is a network command line install from a package. The first package was incorrectly configured so that updates could not be applied by an administrator logon.  Repacked with the correct setting, uninstalled on the workstation, and reinstalled via the new network package to discover this issue. 
    QUESTION:  Is their a tech note on a manual uninstall of CS6 suite in case the control panel uninstall did not remove everything and the product is in some sort of inconsistent state regarding update patches?

    Manish:  As I just emailed you, and in the hope of helping someone else, on the two machines I tested, I needed to do two different procedures in order to avoid the update error:
    First system:  Uninstall the incorrectly configured AAME3 package, run the Adobe cleanup tool http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html, and reinstall the new correctly configured package, run updates.
    On the second system, I did the same steps as listed above, but then also had to logon as another admin user that had never logged onto the workstation as I was receiving the same error after the reinstall with an existing admin local profile.  Then updates ran.
    NOTE:  The first system install was run manually via a batch file while an administrator was logged on.  The second one was installed via a deployment tool without any user being logged on.
    Next test will be on a workstation after hours without any previous AAME3 package installed, just using the correctly configured one with updates allowed configured, without anyone being logged on.

    Just wanted to let you know that I've waited to update to iOS 5 until today because I heard there were some issues.  Well it looks like the issues still exist EXACTLY as they did almost 3 months ago despite having another iTunes update.  As a result I can't update my iPhone to iOS 5 and can't use some of my apps because they require updating.  So thanks for completely ignoring everyones complaints and not resolving these issues.  My sister's Droid phone has been working AND updating seamlessly, perhaps it's time for a change.
    Your product is not the only product.  Your product is NOT perfect and never will be, but neither is the competition's.  The competition makes a good product as well, otherwise they wouldn't be competition.  What sets your company apart from the competition is how well you support your product when it inevitably fails to do what you say it will do.  This is a very basic idea that can make or break a company, yes, even a giant like you Apple.

    You can not chose update it'll give you an error, so backup your device then chose restore

  • I am getting an Update failed error and I have tried clicking Retry to no avail... it tells me to contact customer support. What can I do to correct this and get the update?

  • IPad update/restore error and itunes no longer recognizes device

    I just updated my iPad to 5  today.  An error occurred during the restore and it is now stuck on the "connect to itunes" screen.  I have followed all the instructions to restart my iPad but now itunes will not recognize it.  When I follow these steps, the connect to itunes screen comes on but itunes does not start on my computer.  When I open itunes, the ipad is not listed as a device.  I've researched a ton of threads and have tried the following with NO success.

    Verified current version of itunes

    Temporarily disabled security software.

    I am so frustrated that nothing has worked and my iPad is still stuck.  I wish I had never done the update.  Please help!

  • OnGoing update failure Error Error 0x8024200b

    For several years I have not been able to do the null update on my printer (you would think my HP laptop would be able to talk to my HP printer!).  I just upgraded the laptop to Windows 10 and was hopeful I would finally be able to get this file updated on my printer, but no luck.  Now I get two!  The fax version now fails also.  Everything is working (if you don't count not being able to print to labels or envelopes) but it sure would be nice to get this resolved.  It's obviously not a OS problem since it continues with Win 10, and did it on Win 8 and 8.1 as well.

    I have asked the same question a year ago and again just a week ago. It seems that nobody knows and nobody cares. I suggest we should try to find a group of people who share this problem and try to seek support from a international consumer rights institution if such institution exists.
    Only explanation I can think of is that either the updaters are poorly coded or more obviously some users combination of software and firewall/anti-virus is just too much for the updaters. I've tried to make special rules with my Norton, but without success. Most probably you'll be adviced to try different versions of updaters or get involded with endless uninstall and install operations. Intersesting to follow how this case unfolds.

    I tried to update the Cloud app. I get this error.
    "We've encountered the following issues:
    Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the installation process (Error Code: A12E1). For troubleshooting tips, please visit our support page."
    So here I am. I have no idea what to do.
    Hardware Specs:
    Mac 10.8.4
    2.66GHz Intel Core i7
    8GB 1067MHz DDR3
    No external drives

    I ran into this issue recently myself when I was applying the lastest updates to CC:
    Error Code: A12E1)
    I thought the fix recommended - running the cleaner and/or reinstalling the entire Suite, etc - was a little bit extreme. I was able to apply the update in a round about manner. I didn't have time to do a complete reinstall just to fix a couple of photos.
    Issue: When applying the update to Creative Cloud you get the error about 3/4 of the way through the upgrade:
    "We've encountered the following issues:
    Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the installation process (Error Code: A12E1). For troubleshooting tips, please visit our support page."
    Tried again after a reboot. Same error.
    HERE IS MY FIX:
    I am Running Lion, and this is what worked for me:
    Resolution:
    1. Restarted the Mac, telling it NOT to open the programs on reboot
    2. Opened Photoshop
    3. Went to Help and selected updates...
    4. Launched the update through Photoshop. It ran through and updated the applications.
    After I was done, I noted the CC update indicator next to the clock went away. I also noted that when I launched Photoshop from Lightroom I didn't get the error saying my Adobe Raw was out of date which is what prompted the update in the beginning.
    I should note that when I did this I got an error saying some library was open so I canceled the upgrader and closed out of the program I forgot to close, so make sure this is a clean restart.
