SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 : issue in alignment

I am developing a program which generates email notifications. The email body has dynamic data in table format as follows:
Date                    Day                to          from
Feb 11, 2011      Monday      10:00am   1:00 pm
Feb 11, 2011      Monday        3:00pm   5:00 pm
I have hard coded the alignment as follows :
WRITE : w_findata-coursestdt TO w_data+5(50).
WRITE : w_findata-course_name TO w_data+4(60).
and so on.
The problem is , the alignment works fine when i get the email notification in my outlook, but for other external emails, it is misaligned..
How can this be resolved? How can i dynamically set the alignment?

Hi,
You can use the HTML to display the data in table format.  [Email with HTML body|http://docs.google.com/View?id=dfv2hmgs_6hf8nm5f4 ]

    Hi Chitra,
    It looks like user has the personalization settings done for his/her user id.
    I think you can resolve the isssue by resetting the user personalization settings.

  • Issue in alignment of PE51 data when printing it in SAP Script

    Hi Experts
    I have a SAP Script which is used to print Check at the top and Re-numeration Statement at the second half via RFFOUS_C program. The re-numeration statement is designed in PE51. The Check is designed in SAP Script and the PE51 form is printing inside the script using Main window/ Text Element : 525-HR.
    The FM RP_IMPORT_PAY_STATEMENT is used inside the RFFOUS_C program which returns the table PFORM and the contents of  the PFORM is exactly the re-numeration statement data and are getting  printed one by one in the script using the variable REGUD-TXTHR. My object is fine with all the above said things. Only issue is with the alignment which is weird in SAP Script for the re-numeration part. But when I look into PC00_M10_CEDT (TCODE to view re-numeration statement) the output of designed PE51 form is good with proper alignment.When it is printed via script the alignment is not good at all.
    There is some differences in the formats of printing between PE51 and SE71. Do not know what exactly it is. How I can resolve this issue?
    Thanks

    Hi Madhu,
    Sorry for the delayed response.See the below screen shot.This is how it prints now.The amounts are not aligned.Increasing the line spacing will increase only the space between the lines and i am using same character format for the variable REGUD-TXTHR.I would like to align them.
    Thanks

  • APEX 4.2 aligning issue of Stop and Start Grid Layout item

    My APEX application application is in the process of moving from 4.0 to 4.2.  I am experiencing an issue with aligning (left margin justified) of Stop and Start Grid Layout items that have a border around them.  Earlier I had an issue with the border itself not showing up in the 4.2 application.  I was able to resolve that with a workaround by adding inline code in the CSS section of the page: #P23_OFFICE_START_TBL {width:682; border:1px solid #369; margin:5px;}. This created the border which I needed, but there are 2 Stop and Start Grid Layout items that are indented and not aligning with the border of the previous line.  I have tried a number of different things but none of them have worked.  This seems like a very simple issue to fix but I am having a tough time resolving it.
    I tried to put the item in question in a different grid, which corrected the indention but then I lost the border around the item.  It seems that the above CSS code does not work on the new grid.  I also tried to put attributes such as margin-left:5px; float: left; clear: left; float: left, in the CSS code but that did not work, too.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Ajay K

    I deleted and added back the Stop and Start Grid Layout items not aligning properly.  This worked.  Apparently, the 4.0 to 4.2 upgrade did not handle/convert these items properly.  Deleting and adding them back resolved the issue.

  • Alignment issues in different browsers

    Im using css for my catalog pages and I'm having issues with alignment of my item descriptions and  "add to cart" buttons.  I want everything to be evenly aligned and the "add to cart" buttons centered -  and it all is in IE, but Chrome and FireFox have stuff all over the place.
    I only have two pages in the site done with this css so far and here is the link to one of them:
    http://www.liquidatorswarehouse.net/boards.html  if you view it in IE that's how I want it to look in every browser.
    Here is the link to my css file for the catalog layout:  http://www.liquidatorswarehouse.net/css/boards.css
    As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

    Don't use Design View.  It's not reliable. Remove the double <br> tags between "Our price" and "add to cart" buttons.  Don't use <br> tags as a layout device.  It doesn't work.
    Also less HTML code and a few well-planned styles could make this product list a lot less confusing for you.  Copy & paste this into a new, blank page. Look at the HTML code.  It's clean, logical & semantically correct.

  • Alignment Issues with Spry Menu Bar in Safari

    www.laurentambard.com
    I am new to CS5 and currently building a site for a friend.  Having issues with aligning then far right spry menu bar so that it is flush with the page.  It only shows a problem on Safari (as far as I know).  Also the second tab (About) is dropping down slightly when the drop down menu is selected and not sure how to fix it.

    If you place the menubar in a container with an ID of nav or similar and a background color of #EEE so that it blends in with the background colour of the menu items, the centralise the menubar and menu items as per http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/menubar/CenteringHorizontalMenuBarSample.h tml, it should go a long way to meeting your requirements.

  • Sudden Display issues in Firefox from Dreamweaver-built pages

    Hi, first time posting and a novice at Dreamweaver and web design so please bare with me.
    I'm an IT administrator for a small charity company and they decided to ask me to build them a website, I bought Dreamweaver in University and had a small try with it but never really used it since.
    Now I'm no web designer but I'm trying the best I can, I managed to make a few preliminary pages for use and found they displayed correctly in most browsers apart from IE and Opera.
    But Suddenly today - after no editing or alterations since friday (and it displayed fine yesterday on tuesday), it started experiencing the same issues in Firefox this morning for no apparent reason. I assumed that it would be a problem with Firefox but when trying to sign up to Firefox help I meet an "Access Denied" page after clicking to sign up. Now I know there's no point in searching their forums for that issue because of course, how can someone complain they have the problem when the fact they can't get on the forums to post is what's preventing the post in the first place?
    I googled both of those issues and turned up nothing, which led me here.
    The "Access Denied" at signup issue is obviously not what I'm seeking for here though, but would like to know if anyone else has experienced the issue with the formatting suddenly displaying incorrectly in browsers when they worked fine before?
    Like I said, I'm a complete novice at web design and dreamweaver so feel free to tell me the coding in the website is pants, I know it is but it does (did!) the job in most browsers.
    Any help at all would be appreciated.

    PS. For an ironic laugh - note the "This website is best displayed in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome" at the bottom of the page

    My advice, although negative, would be to stay clear unless you are confident and capable of using html and css. Dreamweaver won't do the job for you and you will be biting off more than you can chew.
    Having said that I've made the necessary changes so that your page will work in all browers. Just copy the whole html code and css below, paste into a new Dreamweaver document and save to your site root folder.
    Do not mix measurements i.e., width 43em, padding 15px etc. I would advise staying with px based measurements as measurements are critical to if the site works or not. I don't know what 43em + 15px makes but I do know what 170px + 15px makes. I have changed the width of the containers in your code to px.

    /* Tips for Elastic layouts
    1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
    2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.

  • Portal Collection List Renderer - problem with alignment

    Dear All,
    I'm having an issue with alignment of columns when changing a Layoutset.
    This modification is all done with SAP standard components, so I decided to try my luck here first at SDN before writing an OSS message.
    Here's what is happening:
    I want to have the KM files listed like this:
    (as I can't put a printscreen, I will put it on text for you to have an idea)
    FILENAME..................MODIFIED...........................MODIFIEDBY
    ...file1..........................xx/xx/xxxx..........................aaaaaaaa
    Description of file1 here....
    file2.............................xx/xx/xxxx..........................aaaaaaaa
    Description of file2 here....
    file3.............................xx/xx/xxxx..........................aaaaaaaa
    Description of file3 here....
    To obtain this I'm changing the standard object AdminCollectionListRenderer
    I do this by going to KM configuration and change this SAP standar object on
      Collection List Renderer Settings > AdminCollectionListRenderer
        Flavor:
          From: List
          To: Not Set
        Displayed Properties:
          From: rnd:icon,rnd:displayname(contentLink)+rnd:action,contentlength,rnd:lock,modified,modifiedby
          To: rnd:displayname(contentLink),rnd:lock,modified,modifiedby,rnd:description(\[2;1-1\]/noTitle/maxChars=300)
    The result is ok, but there's a very small detail that doesn't disappear no matter what I do.
    If you go to the txt above, the "file1" is ALWAYS one blank space to the right. It's not aligned with the
    other items on the list.
    Has anyone experienced this ?
    Is there any solution ?
    Kindest Regards
    /Ricardo Quintas

    Check in your type preferences. Apply leading to entire paragraphs will fix this. It's likely that the return at the end of your last line has a larger point size assigned to it, and it's throwing your leading off.

  • Objects out of alignment when published

    Hi,
    I;m having issues with alignment and have searched the forum bt not yet found a resolution.
    Despite setting alignment in the Design view, the live view places some objects out of alignment.
    See Kingsdown Holiday Homes - Self Catering Chalet Rental at Kingsdown Park, Kent | Home

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for taking the time to look and reply. I've checked and there are no overlapping or stray boxes, but its something I'll keep an eye out for. I grouped all the column items together, but this doesn't prevent it from happening.
    So this in Muse:

  • Labels are not aligned properly when printed using HP5610

    Hi ,
    I am trying to print Avery J8160 labels using my HP 5610 Officejet. I am using official Avery templates and have checked all printer settings, there are no issues.
    Everything is fine if I use plain paper but if I use Avery label A4 sheet, the alignment goes out. It's as if the label paper is not being drawn into the printer properly. All print settings are fine. I have contacted Avery and they have no explanation. Avery infact said that there is issue of alignment with printer and contact HP for finding solution. And they said most probably its something to do with printer treating both papers differently and some kind of skidding on rollers or something else resulting into this issue.
    I have just done a quick test, I removed top row of labels and then feed the sheet and everything is fine. To me somehow seems that its thickness of label sheet and somehow printer start printing before actual print area on sheet starts. While in case if paper is thin (normal paper or top row of labels removed) , everything is fine.
    Any help would be great, I have already wasted many sheets of labels.
    regards

    Which SQL client and Linux version are we talking about?
    Assuming you are using the Oracle sqlplus client... it does not support command line editing and history using the arrow keys. For this to work you will have to install a product called Readline Wrapper. See my answer at the General Database forum:

  • Alignment on multiple artboards

    The document I am working on has two artboards (front and back of a document) and I am trying to center some text on the artboard. The issue that I am having is that when I try to align something to center on the first artboard (the left one) it moves it off that board and aligns center on the 2nd artboard (the right one).
    I have about 10 other files with this same set up (two artboards, multiple text boxes) and have never had an issue with alignment. As long as "align to artboard" is selected Illustrator never moves the text box to the other artboard to align it.
    Please help! Thanks in advance!

    It could be that you're just stumbling across an astonishing speciality of Illustrator. For example, in AI CS5, you may do the following steps.
    1. Create a document with 2 artboards
    2. On artboard 1, draw a filled rectangle
    3. Leave artboard 2 blank
    4. Select the rectangle on artboard 1, then Shift click on artboard 2
    5. Deselect the rectangle on artboard 1 by clicking somewhere on the scratch area (outside the artboard boundaries)
    6. Marquee select the rectangle not only by touching its boundaries but also by completely surrounding artboard 1
    7. Do an Align to artboard
    Would you now say that the result is exactly as expected? Would you think that marquee selecting (as described in point 6.) instead of just clicking on the rectangle should make a difference in that situation?

  • New CSS Rollovers not align same as Image Rollovers - Dreamweaver CC

    I have put together a test page replacing Javascript Image Rollovers for CSS Image Rollovers and the alignment of items in the 3 columns (DIVS) is not the same as when old style rollovers. I cannot seem to find the error in my CSS and would like another pair of eyes to see if I'm missing something. Here is the screenshot of new page from Firefox, followed by the CSS. Images are loading into #sidebar1 (left column), #sidebar2 (right column) and #MainContent. #MainContent seems off centered and #sidebar outside margins are different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    CSS:

    The text isn't centered within the containers for two reasons.
    1. Their display is set to block and
    2. There is nothing telling them to be centered
    One way to fix it would be to change the <a> tags to inline-block and add text-align:center to their parents and everything should center nicely within the columns.

  • CSS Aligning a form

    I am having some serious issues vertically aligning a form. I have to use this form, it was given to me by the company I work for. I am new to CSS and can't seem to get this to align appropriately. If you look at the website you will instantly see what I am talking about, with the form by the graphic that says "Check Availability"
    http://www.colonybeachresort.com/re-design/
    If anyone can help, that would be great! I've attached the css used too.

    My specific question is ... what is the best way to go about vertically aligning a form within a div? I need each form element to line up with the "check availability" text. At one point I did have IDs assigned to the form elements, but then I was told from someone not to do that. I will try it again and see if I can somehow get it working. Thank you for your help
    Probably best to use a simple table as you can align vertically in a table cell whereas a css/<div> combination can't do that. Well I say can'tdo it - you can get away with one line of simple text in a <div> using line-height; but you have form elements and images.
    You can try and shift elements into position by giving them a padding or margin or a combination of both. However in my expience forms are a bugger to line up correctly using css.
    For starters you can zero out the default margin on the form tag
    form {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    Then push it down a bit to line up with the 'check availability' background image by adding some top padding:
    form {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 10px 0 0 0;
    You could then try and push the two image 'calendar' and 'submit' down as well;
    form img {
    padding-top: 10px;
    However I found that this shifted the form fields down as well, at which point I gave up lol
    I would have at that stage used a simple table and put each element (including 'check availability' in its own cell and set the vertical align to middle.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910 Alignment failed

    Printer menu is showing 'Alignment has failed.'I just changed an ink cartridge because Yellow had run out. Prior to this the printer kept repeating the Alignment. It has done about 10 alignments since yesterday morning.My husband got it to print a few documents yesterday but after each job it realigned and gave us an ink warning. Prior to that it has had messages that it was not available for printing and has taken a long time to print any jobs.This had gone on for a few days. Prior to that the default settings had readjusted and we kept having to take a very long route back into the Options menu to get double sided printing. Paper seemed to be feeding badly when doing double sided but OK for single sided. Prior to that there was a paper jam last Thursday that I attempted to clear twice with great difficulty. We have been doing our best to resolve the issue but all the steps are very complicated and time consuming. I am very frustrated and have just spent $174 on new inks.The shop assistant advised me to buy a new printer.Would this be the best solution? Is there anyone who looks at Printers or services them in Melbourne? Is there anyone who I could speak to for advice?I cannot seem to find any such service from the HP website or through their telepone support.The phone number just told me to go back to the website!

    Hi , I read your post and see that the printer keeps printing the alignment page. You replaced yellow cartridge and still have the same results. I would like to help you. This issue usually occurs for one or two reasons, a power issue or a issue with refilled cartridges. Just to rule out a power issue, I would connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Are you using Genuine HP Cartridges?
