SOA Development frameworks

Hi
I am looking to complete SOA reference architecture with details on development frameworks for logging, validation, error handling, notification and others.
Anyone could provide me some references and tips to get this information?

Download the Java SDK and a copy TextPad. Good enough for me.
If you mean "I want to use a full blown IDE," get any current version of Visual Cafe, JBuilder, etc., etc. They all support Swing.

Is there an application development framework for HTML5? Not the generic CSS and Javascript version where you build your own app, rather some kinda framework like Flex where everything gets embedded into the Canvas and javascripts gets cretade as you build your software.

Getting error while configuring WAS 7 Fix Pack 37 with Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0)

Hi,
I have installed Oracle Unified Directory 11.1.2.2.0 and WebSphere Application Server 7 with Fix Pack 37.
I am getting error while configuring WAS 7 Fix Pack 37 (7.0.0.37) with Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0). While adding products to cell (Oracle Directory Services Manager for WebSphere - 11.1.2.2.0), I am getting below error:
CFGFWK-64069: The following prerequisites were found to be missing: Oracle WebCenter Composer Extension - 11.1.1.0
Also attached the screenshot of the error.

Hello,
ODSM has the following dependencies apart from ADF (both components depend also on ADF):
- UIShell (oracle.idm.uishell.war)
- Webcenter Composer (oracle.webcenter.composer.war).
Apparently the composer is missing.
Important points to check when using ODSM with WAS:
- To install and configure Oracle Fusion Middleware with IBM WebSphere, you must first install (but not configure) IBM WebSphere
- You must install the Oracle Application Development Framework as the same user who installed Oracle Unified Directory.
- appdev must be installed under the same ORACLE_HOME as OUD

I am planning to give Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Essentials exam but I could not find any Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Essentials certified.
1) Is this exam has a worth?
2) What is the importance of this exam?
3) Why the number of Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Essentials certified is less, even ADF is getting popular?
4) Should I have Practical experience of Oracle ADF mean everything that is part of exam?

Its not an exam for the "ADF Essentials" edition but the essential ADF knowledge that is tested by this exam. Its the first part of a multipart certification

Less to what? Note that you can run your business on ADF without being certified. However, as a partner or consultant certification certainly is seen as a proof of your skill set

IOS development framework

I'm looking for an iOS development framework where it is possible to make an App using HTML pages like jQTouch: http://jqtouch.com/.
Instead of adding the webpage as a bookmark on the home screen, I would like it to build a App for the App Store. Is that possible?

Help in identifying best available development framework and language for native app development for Windows and mac osx desktops through single code base

i am try to identify the right development framework and technology for developing GUI application which can run on windows and mac osx.
i am sure that there will be specific handling for both of these os, but at the same time there could lot of code can be same.
is it possible to fulfill requirements of both these OS's through single code base. As of now i am more experienced with Dotnet C# on windows.

CSI Developement Framework

Hi,
I am working on "INstall Base" and the pages are built using CSI framework.
There is nothing mentioned in the internet regarding CSI framework.
My requirement is,
In "Additional Attributes" page, there is a result table region.
The columns displayed here are "Name", "value" and "Category".
"Name" and "Category" columns are read only.
But the "Value" is input type.
Now according to my requirement, I have to modify this "Value" column as a "Drop Down List".
I am able to achieve this by making the changes in "TableDescriptor.property" file.
But for me, the values which are going to be displayed in Drop down list should be dynamic.
As in depending on the "Additional Atibute" name ie "Name" column in the table region, the values in the Drop Down has to be changed.
I tried lot of turn arounds but nothing worked out.
Please reply as it is very urgent.

How to develop Framework Extension for join two tables

Dear developers,
My project contains more than 200 maintenance tables.
Maintenance tables are very small and less than 100 lines.
Maintenance tables mostly associated with a translation table.
Translation tables are used for localized texts.
Translation tables consists of Master Table Key + LanguageKey.
I want to edit customizing tables only session language as single table.
Translation table row may or may not be. Thats mean relationship is 1 to 0..1.
ADF table control ignore this relationship.
I tried view link between master view and detail view objects, but if translation table line is empty ADF table control throws translation iterator is null exception.
I tried entity based left joined editable view I get view link inconsisty problem.
In this case, the BC forcing me to framework extension.
How is develop solution?

Int my ant task I have the following:
<mxmlc services="${SERVICE_CONFIG_PATH}" ... >
Where SERVICE_CONFIG_PATH is the absolute path of the services config file.
I didn't see anything like this in your ant task.

Best development framework for a beginner

Hi, can somebody recommend a good( the best around if there is) framework for a beginner to start learning.
i don't know a lot about frameworks and j2ee but i'm starting to learn.
i don't have any hands on experience yet with any of them, i can't decide
on which one to start with, i read a bit about spring,struts,EJB it looks like Spring's is the best
but as i said i am not qualified to judge.

i don't mean to be rude either i am trying to get qualified i'm not asking you to do it for me
all am asking for is an opinion from somebody who has experience and who knows what he's talking about.
i don't have experience at all with j2ee development so i did some research and i learned that the best way to develop is using a framework
i did some more research and i read a bit on each framework i know there's a lot of them but again from my readings i concluded that these are the most widely used but again i know nothing about them, i'm reading spring docs now in fact but what good would it be if i find out that some other framework is better more used, more robust..?.
