Solution to assign agents

Dear experts,
I have a question regarding as the resolution to the agent assignement.
As in the workflow we have used, the agent who is responsible for a validation is chosen according to his position in the structure organisaiton.
For example, the accountant of region A park an invoince, then the manager of accounting department in region A will receive the workitem and then validate it.
I wonder how I could relate my "Stucutre Organisation"(PPOMW) to my workflow.
Thanks in advance!

hai

Hi,
I get following error msg when I try to assign agent during RCA setup
The assignment of server sapsrmqas201 to SMD Agent failed
Unexpected error during the server name assignation (sapsrmqas201) for agent sapsrmqas201.xxx.xxx.com
In setup wizard, I choose agent installed on that server and when I click on set button I get this msg.
Any idea on solution for this.
Regards,

Hi
Do you able to see the SMD agent as green under agent admin in solman workcernter?
if so try to restart the agent and try to start the setup wizard again,
Might be the issue with smd connection with Solman? have you registered the SMD to central SLD?
Please refer to the Diagnostics Setup Guide 7.11.pdf in [http://service.sap.com/diagnostics |http://service.sap.com/diagnostics ]-> media library
there you find more information on how to set up the connection parameters that are used by the SMD Agent to connect to Solution Manager.

i got the bellow error server name assignment on the agent failed. how to troubleshoot the issue
regards

Hi,
prior to all, You need to register the agent either to the solution manager directly  or to the SLD during the installation of diagnostic agent itself.
If you registered before only, you can see the agents in managed system configuration on step 4 'Assign Diagnostics Agent' -> Assign agent. Else you can see empty as in your image 2.
Please follow the below link and make sure you done registration of smd agents.

Hi,
Make sure that you have configured properly in transaction OMGS.
If it is done, then we can not do much about it.
I faced the similar issue and i had to convince the user that it is a porblem.
PO release workflow has some problems.

• Assigning agents to responsibility RR_MANAGER

Hi
I am new to SRM BRF concept. Please guide me how to assign agent to responsibility RR_MANAGER for shopping cart creation approval workflow scenario. I have already created org structure , activated the following BC for one level approval scenario.
evaluation ID used : 3EV_SC_600_001_100
Bus2121 , process shema  : 3C_SC_600_001 .
Please guide me how to attach my agent from org id to this responsibiliy RR_Manager.
I have not assigned any area to my org structure and trying to use class /SAPSRM/CL_IM_WF_RR_MANAGER of approver Badi
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Parul.

Hi Nathan,
I recently ran in to the same scenario.  I believe I've found the answer...
There's an MSCluster class called MSCluster_DiskToDiskPartition.  If you take a look at the PartsComponent on there, it maps to MSCluster_DiskPartition.  You can use this value (e.g. \\\\?\\Volume{fdf1028a-b99a-11e2-84d4-0017a4770046}) to
map it to the Win32_Volume class.  There's a property on the Win32_Volume class called DeviceID.
NOTE:  THe logic above only works for mounted volumes.  Also, if the cluster is virtualized, the ID's may not match up.
If it's not a mounted volume you need to match MSCluster_DiskToDiskPartition.PartsComponent = Win32_Volume.DriveLabel.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Jeff

• Remove assigned agents

My question is:
if I want to remove agnets from the list of assigned agents - how do I do that? Is there any existing tool - or do I delete directly form a table - and if so - which one?
Here is some background:
I have a workflow that reports on price change errors and creates a workflow to notify people. There is a function that is run to determine who the workflow is assigned to. The workflow is correctly created in all the relevent poeple's workflow inboxes.
ONce any one of the people look at the workflow - I woul dlike to remove it from the inboxes of the other agents (ie the first person to view it becomes responsible for it).
To do this - I will need to run another piece of cod e- to remove all the addigned agants fromt he workflow - with the exception of the one that has now been stored as responsible.

Sadly - it is not happeneing automoatically. It USED to - and then  minor change was made to the application that raises the workflow. While testing that completely unrelated change - discovered taht it no longer automatically removes the worfklow from the otehr agents inboxes once an agent had viewed it.
Because it USED to happen I am sure it must be possible to force it to happen.
The only other variable is that we did a service stcak upgrade reicently. Possibly this has effected the functionality.
Any ideas what is done int he background to have the worfklow automatically vanish from the other agents? If it can be doen in the background - then surely I can alsy call the same functions/methods/whatever explicitly?

• How to assign agent at runtime

Hello gurus,
I have a small querie.
My requirement is when a workitem is received by a possible agent and he is not responding eventhough he receives repeative mail. I want to assign the new agent at runtime when the actual agent is received more than 4 workitems for the same task.
It means 5th workitem should be diverted to new agent.
Thanks in advance.
Please help me out.

Hi,
1. specify a counter Variable between the loop and increment the counter once the counter is reached 4
if Counter > 4 then
Specify the new agent id in dialogue task
You want to assign the agent at runtime means we have two options
1. Go to SWIA-> Give the dialogue workitem no -> Select Assign possible agents tab -> Specify the agent id at runtime
2. SBWP ->Select Work item ->Workflow settings ->Maintain Substitution

• Multiline container --how to assign agents in subworkflow

Hello Friends,
I have mutiline element with 3 agents type wfsyst-sgent. I am triggering a subworkflow and assigned this multiline element in others. Now what is the agent name in the subworkflow. Because it is triggering 3 times the same task to one agent. Why it is not sending to all agents. How to send tasks to individual agents only one.
Thanks
Mn

I think you can sue Workcenter option here. I generally do some coding in User Exit for FM ME_REL_GET_RESPONSIBLE
which is attached to Rule 20000027.
For the Release effected step you can add but I think you have to create cuistom Wflow for that. You cannot use WS20000075.
Thanks

• Error message "Solution not assigned to this user"

After creating the data source, I'm trying to create a report in  SDK sandbox solution.
As I'm not a keyuser, it is going to the ByD center and asking for user id / password.
I even tried to assign WoC View also to a user.
When I tried with different user ids given to me by SAP, I'm getting the same error.
Let me know  the steps to assign a solution in ByD center for report creation from ByD SDK
- Ravi ,

Hi Ravi,
as I already told Lynn, this will only be possible in a global solution.
The reason is the following:
You can create yourself multiple sandbox solution. So if you now to multiple changes with key user tools in the frontend for different sandbox solutions, in the end you won't know which change was made for which sandbox solution as these changes won't appear in your list of solution entitities in the ByDesign studio.
Therefore: Changes with the key user tools can only be made for the global solution.

• How to assign agent assigment in release strategy WS20000075?

I have copied  the standard workflow WS20000075 and then created Workflow template and in trigering events tab of the wf template, I have binded the event RELEASESTEPCREATED.I have also done the SPRO settings for release strategy,i.e,that is I have assigned the users for each release code in table T16FW and mentioned the role resolution in the as 1 in the table T16FC.
The workflow is working fine but I am a bit confused with the agent assigment in the tasks TS20000166 and TS20000168.I have noticed one thing that in the task TS20000166 a default rule 20000027 - Person responsible for PO release, but it does not seem to work. The TS20000168 does not has any default rule for agent.
Can anyone guide me how i can do the agent assignment for this workflow.
Message was edited by:
            Babar Haroon

There is no requirement for default rules.
Agent for task TS20000168 is assigned in the workflow where it is used.
If the default rule for task TS20000166 does not seem to work you should first of all check all the obvious potential problems, and secondly (if you haven't found out what the problem is) tell us <u>why</u> you have concluded that it does not work.
Check:
1) that the task has either been defined as general task or has possible agents assigned
2) that your customizing for the release code has "1" as workflow configuration and that there is a valid agent assignment for the code - alternatively "9" as config and the user exit is implemented
3) that there is overlap between agent assignment for the release code and possible agents for the task

• Assign Agent Inbox Address

Dear expert
In our system (CRM 5.0), we made all required settings for an incoming email to appear in the agent inbox. It was working fine until we change the organizational structure.
We had an organizational unit and under it positons and business partners. All users under this org. unit was able to see the incoming emails. But we changed it a bit and created 3 sub-org unit under the first org. unit. Now users are not able to see new incoming emails and we cannot see emails processed by someone who would be under sub org 2, if we are under sub org 1.
Regarding the first issue: nobody can see new incoming emails.
I found that a dummy business partner under the first org unit had the inbox email address under his system user. If I copy this position/bp/user, under sub org 1 then users under sub org 1 can see incoming emails. But I don't want to replicate this position/bp/user under each of my sub org, because this dummy may be used for other processes. If I assign the email address directly under org 1 or sub org 1,  users under sub org 1 still don't see incoming emails .....
Regarding the second issue: is it possible for users to display incoming emails that are processed by someone in a different sub group?
Thanks in advance for your help
Stephanie

Hello Stephanie,
Let's first clear things out.
Suppose you have three levels
Level 1
       |-Level 2
                   |-Level 3
(When posting it's not very clear but level 3 is under level 2 and level 2 is under level 1)
If you assign the emails to be received in level 1 everyone belonging to level 1, 2 and 3 will see the e-mails, even when they are in process.
If you assign the emails to be received in level 2 everyone belonging to level 2 and 3 will see the e-mails.
what can I do to allow all users under the main org unit (even if they belong to different subgroups) to see all emails (in process or completed)?
If you want everyone to see all incoming mails, assign your emails to level 1 and everyone (in level 1 and any level below level 1) should see all mails.
Hope this helps!

Joost

• UCCX assign Agent for Mail

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know how to assign a agent for a specific incoming Email from customer? In our CRM database we have assign a agent for this customer.
When the customer send us a mail, we want assign this mail to the agent who appoint in the CRM database directly instead of queued into CSQ, does it possible with UCCX 10.5 with Premium License?
And we also facing another problem is: when the reply mail received from our customer, it will queued into CSQ again, how can we assign the original agent to receive this mail?
Best Regards.
Tony Ye.

Hi Tony
- I don't believe this is possible. You don't have the same sort of 'scripting' intelligence that you have for voice calls. What you could do is have a dedicated queue per agent; where that agent is the sole member of the associated queue. The queue would have it's own email address, that the agent would need to use as his 'reply' address and that customers would mail to. You could then add other agents to the queue if that agent was not available for any reason.
- 'Last-Agent Email Routing' is a new feature in UCCX 10.6 (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_10_6/release/docs/UCCX_BK_UC733F42_00_uccx-release-notes-106/UCCX_BK_UC733F42_00_uccc-release-notes-106_chapter_00.html#UCCX_TP_N5F7CDD2_00)

• Assign agent to task in workflow

Hi guys,
In my workflow I have tree levels of validation.
When I want to assign an agent to a task in my workflow I can see there is a rule "the superior of the workflow initiator"
But..
How can say superior of the superior?

this rule uses the organizational structure of the SAP system (trans PPOMA)
So at the top there's no superior, either you develop the workflow in such a way that no validation is required when the top is reached, or the process will never reach beyond the top.
For more info search the appropriate forums, in this case the workflow forum, or the HR forum, not the ABAP forum.
Kind regards, Rob Dielemans
