[SOLVED] Intel C2Q not able to cpufreq': No such device

See Topic. Cpufreq worked some month ago (i used trayfreq which today just throws an floating point exception, but that is another story).
When booting with acpi=off, acpi_cpufreq will be loaded. When booting with acpi=on (default), it is not possible to load the module ("there is no such device").

Uninstall/install
delected directories manually
device manager driver update
copying working directories from another machine
cleaned and optimized registry
Tried to install older version of AMDS
Tried older version of itunes - would not install because library incompatible
Appears this is a problem that has been around for years, why is it not isolated and corrected?

Node is not able to identify new raw device in ASM

Hello experts,
i have a strange probelm with raw disk discovery in ASM. i have a six node cluster. and we are planning to add another raw disk to support database
growth.
out of 6 nodes, 5 nodes are able to find raw disk and on 6th node, it is not able see the disk. not sure what could be the problem.
i have verified the file permissions. i did see 640 and these seems to be correct
My database version : 10.2.0.4
OS RHEL 4.7

The disk attribute reserve_policy may need to be modified for the disk.
Verify if the value of reserve_policy is "single_path"
lsattr -El diskname | grep reserve_policy
if it is, then change it as follows
chdev -l diskname -a reserve_policy=no_reserve
This will ensure the disk is sharable across multiple nodes.

HI i have one year old HP pavilion g6 2005AX model with AMD processor.rEcently iam facing a issue with USB drivers.Any new flash drives which i havent used befre are not detectable by my system.It is throwing a error as no drivers detected.What should i do?Iam not able get the driver updates anywhere.

Do a hard reset.
Turn the computer off.
Remove the power cable and the battery.
Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth power sources are removed.
This should reset the hardware in the computer.
As you turn it back on tap the F10 key. This will load BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.
When the computer boots back up, check to see if everything is working.
Open up command prompt and run the following command SFC /scannow.
This will scan the system files and correct any errors that it can.
Here is a link to command prompt.
When you go to open command prompt, right click and run as administrator.
What is the device that you are connecting?
What version of windows are you using?
Do you have any other devices connected when trying to connect the new device?

[Solved] mythtv-setup DVB (could not get card info/No such device)

I'm building a new Arch server which will replace my existing mythtv backend using a HP microserver. Other than my old machine not being updated in some time, the only difference is new box is 64bit. I have 2x Sony PlayTV USB DVB's and have left one plugged into each system.

Edit: I should add that I did a trial install of Ubuntu 12.04, upto date as of few days ago and it worked perfectly though I didn't note down what kernel version (was 64bit). Nothing has changed hardware wise.

It seems to affect dvb usb devices. I didn't see any evidence of this patch http://patchwork.linuxtv.org/patch/13563/ in current kernels, but it may have been rewritten. I haven't had to change my card setup and don't have usb tuners, so I haven't hit this problem.

I did stumble upon the femon thing at some point but I didn't see any explanation for it and all my googling for femon resulted in a plugin for VDR which totally had me stumped. After your post a tried a slightly different google string and found it was in the linuxtv-dvb-apps package. In hindsight a "pacman -Qo femon" would have given me the answer...

actually, the EA6500 puts two of my units under one "unit" So under the name of my home computer i can see IP-adress (wirelless)-1: 192.168.1.118 IP-Address (wirless)-2 192.168.1.138 They have two different macs. And Operatingsystem: Windows 7 ( as on my computer) But the producer: LG Electronics Model: LG TV. So there is a bug somewhere.. Where can i raise this?

[SOLVED] Intel microcode not loaded - already available in the bios?

I'm getting ready to the linux 3.17 release and thought I should manually install the Intel microcode.
I noticed that I didn't even have the package installed, so that was my first stop.
After doing the steps outlined in the wiki, I'm not sure it's actually loaded.
The `sig` and `revision` in the available patch and the kernel output is the same.
Does this mean I already have the microcodes updated through the BIOS, or is this irrelevant?
And if it's irrelevant, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

The initrd lines in grub.cfg has been changed (not showing entire config, but it's on each non-fallback initrd line)
(But this should matter yet anyway as I'm on 3.16..?)

I would like to know that if your computer has joined into a domain.
Please check whether the following group policy is enabled on USB device：
Group Policy Management Editor > User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > Prevent access to drives from My Computer
I also consider that if the problem is related to the pendrive itself：
1. Check whether this pendrive can be used on another computer.
2. Check whether other USB device or drive can be used on this computer.
Post back after you check out my suggestions.

Not able to add/delete a device in the portal

Hi,
I got a new device from Apple, as my old Iphone 5 had a hardware defect.
Now I wanted to add the device in the portal, but after clicking on continue, I see "loading" all the time and nothing is happening anymore.
So I tried to delete my "old" one and getting an apache error..
Or is it just a temporary problem?
Any idea how to add the device in another way?

TS1501 I am not able to enable my apple devices with Image Capture

I am trying to enable my iphone, ipad, and ipod to connect with iphoto and it won't connect. I have turned this feature off in the past, but can't figure out how to turn it back on again.

Im also experiencing this issue.
I have at some point disabled my phone from being recognized in osX presumably by choosing "no application" when it is connected from the options in the device list (whether it was in iPhoto or Aperture or Preview who knows i dont recal).
Now the problem is is that despite having turned on all the "iPhoto>Preferences>General>When connecting a Camera opens...(iPhoto etc)" the phone it self isnt bringing up any notification or even showing up in the device list.
Without it showing up there how am i supposed to re-enable any application from launching when i connect my phone?
iTunes has no problem seeing my iPhone 4 (iOS 6.01) however the Finder/iPhoto/Apperture/Preview et al all cannot see it despite having them set to launch when a "camera" is connected.

Check out the connectivity between cisco aeronet and TACAS server and what is the failed logs says in tacas server.
If possible try to change the configuration to aaa authentication login Login-LAN(default) group tacacs+ line and then try what exactly happens.

Unable to connect to WIFI- I have been using touch in India and it was working fine. Now I moved to USA and its not able to connect

I have done RESET network setting, reset the IPOD with no data lost and all- still not able to connect
All other devices at my room are connecting and everything is fine.

- Reset all settings

- Last, restore the iPod, first from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory settings/new iPod

SIM user of particular store is not able to login with handhel device but able to login with terminal.
Please tell me whether it is configuration issue or data issue.

You can check whether password is expired or not. Is it same login details used for SIM GUI? If so, are you able to login to GUI.
