Splitting Planned Order between 2 Plants

Hi,
I have the following situation, can some one suggest a solution:
Background of scenario:
Company Code A has a Plant A (Planning Plant)
Company Code B has a Plant B (Manufacturing Plant)
I have a finished good FG which is manufactured in Plant B.
The BOM of FG has one raw material RM
The material FG has demand in both Plant A and B.
In plant A for this FG I use a special procurement key (production in Alt. Plant) so as the demand gets transferred to plant B.
The Scenario is :
I have the following demand for FG
Plant A --10
Plant B --10
Now when I run MRP in Plant A, the demand gets transferred to Plant B.
Now when I run MRP in Plant B, I have planned orders created for FG and RM. The planned order for RM is created in Plant B only. I need this planned order to be splitted between Plant A and Plant B based on the respective demand of FG.
I cannot put the special procurement key of Withdrwal from Alt. Plant for RM in plant B because the Plant B needs to do procurement for its share of FG demand and the same to be consumed.
Please free to ask if you have any more questions.
Looking for some help!.
Thanks,
Amith

Hi,
You can try using quota arrangement.
Choose the Lot size as 'ES'.Then in mrp 2 view use the quota arrangement key as 4.
Then in t.code meq1 maintain quota arrangement. Enter the validity date & the minimum quantity for splitting.Eg.100.Then double click this line,in the next screen enter the plant(in PPL column) & the quota as 50% & in the second line enter second plant & quota as 50%.(procurement type E,spl procurement P(other plant))
Try this & give feedback.

  • Stock transfer order between 2 plants in same company code

    Dear All,
We have the requirement, where in the stock tranfer order (between 2 plants in same company code) instead of Material valuation price, MAP/Standard (depends on Price Control) gets picked up from supplying plant ,user should be able to enter its own price while creating stock transfer order.
For fullfilling this requirement, I have created new condition type(where i have changed condition category from internal price "G" to "H" - Basic Price)
Instead of using condition type- P101 in the stock transfer pricing,I have used above created new condition type, in pricing procedure then also while doing the post good issue against the outbound delivery( move type-"641", moving average is getting picked up.
Can you please tell, where is the setting where we can make the system to consider manual given price while creating the stock transfer order instead of picking moving average price.
Its very Important requirement ,please Provide valuable Inputs else provide some alternative.
    Thanks & Regards
    Nitin Chhabra

Stock Transfer Order between Plants in the same Company Cpde are not relevant for pricing, as there is no billing. Billing only takes place between company codes. As same company code it would be like selling something to yourself - it doesn't make sense.  The stock value in the receiving Plant depends on the price contol there. If standard price, then you must enter the price when creating the material or use material revaluation to change it. When you transfer the material from the issuing plant, the value there will be transferred. In case of standard price any difference is posted to stock transfer differences. If using MAP then the value will be transferred from the issuing Plant in full.
If you use costing with standard price in main plant, then it is possible that you can transfer the cost from the main plant to the second plant, by using special procurement key for costing.

  • MRP run - misalignment for planned order between Date and Production Date

    Hi All,
We've just integrated SAP for a new plant.
The MRP runs based on Routing Lead Time for Make materials instead on Material Master Lead Time, for Capacity Assessment purpose.
When requirements dates lay in the past, MRP performs forward scheduling starting from current date and properly defines Production End Date according to Routing.
By checking MD04, for the proposed Planned Order, the basic date is same as Current Date (= same as Requirement Date) instead of being same as Production Date.
It works as it if checks stil the MAterial MAster LEad time instead of Routing. In fact if I updated the LT of MM the MD04 provides the right Date.
For future requirements, the MRP works properly, by having basic dates (both start and end date) aligned with Production Dates of Planned Order.
How can I do the alignment w/o updating In House Production LT?
    Thanks,
    D

    Hi Caetano,
we have already done this configuration in OPU5 but it doesn't provide any benefit.
    Below how we configured it:
    Scheduling level: Via detailed scheduling
Adjust dates: adjust basic dates, adjust dep. reqmts to operation date
For capacity scheduling: Always basic dates, dep. reqmts to operation dates
    Scheduling type: Backwards.

    D.

  • BOM for planned order in different plant.

    Hi,
    we have 2 plants: A and B.
Plant A creates a sales order for a configurable material (MAT_1). There is a BOM for this material. All the materials in this BOM should be sent from B to A.  B should purchase or produce these materials and then send them to A.
Materials produced by plant B are also configurable materials and their components depend on the characteristics chosen for MAT_1.
The thing is that the system generates a BOM for the sales order (and this bill is fixed throught transaction CU51). We would like to fix the complete BOM, not only in its first level, but also the components of the configurable materials through this transaction.
The problem is that when we plan the materials in plant B in order to produce them, the system generate the planned orders but no material components are determined.
    How should I proceed?
    Thanks in advance,
    Luis

    Hi Luis,
The header item A also manufactured in plant B and sent it to Plant A or the final product assembly is happening at plant A only ?
    The material A = B + C+ D , the components B, D is procured and C is produced at plant -B and send it to plant -A
Material A & C is a configurable material , is it my understanding is correct ?
In the super BOM according to the object dependcy assigned for the each component, BOM qty will get exploded accordingly
and you can configure the special procurement key & assigned it to material master  to pass the requirement

  • Stock transport orders between 2 plants

    Hi,
Daily lot of STO orders will be booked, but i am getting one planned order comibining all STO's when i run MRP,i want individual planned order per each STO for finished product.

    Hi,
In MRP4 view put 1 in individual/collective field and than again run MRP.
Probably this will solve your problem.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Donot want Planned Order to be created for STO in supplying Plant

    Hi Gurus,
We have material A which in being produced in Plant 1000. This Material A is being used as a Component for a product in plant 2000. By Using Stock Transport order we get the material from supplying plant 1000.
when we run MRP for the plant 2000, schedule line is generated for the plant 2000. at the same time planned order is generated for the Material A in plant 1000.
My requirement is i dont want planned order to be created in supplying plant i.e plant 1000.
    Afzal

    Hi,
Let me Clarify my requirement again.
Material A is being Produced in plant 1000(supply). The same Material A is being used as Input material in plant 2000(Demand) for product B.
    <b>Master Maintained.</b>
    <b>Material Master</b>
I maintained Procurement type as F and Special Procurement as 40 in Plant 2000 for Material A.
I maintained Procurement type as E for Material A in Plant 1000.
    <b>Schedule Agreement</b>
Schedule Agreement created in Plant 2000 referring plant 1000 as supplying plant and agreement type as LU.
    <b>Source List</b>
Source List Created based on the schedule agreement and maintained MRP indicator as 2.
    <b>MRP Run</b>
During MRP run for Product B in plant 2000, It creates schedule line for the Material A in plant 2000. At the same time it creates planned Order for material A in the supplying plant 1000.
My Requirement is we don't want the planned order in supplying plant 1000. The reason behind is that we want to run MRP in plant 1000 seperately at a different frequency.
Running MRP in plant 2000 should limit the requirements raising in plant 2000 only and the MRP run for 1000 should limit to plant 1000 only.

  • Planned order creation for another plant

    I have 3 plants 1, 2 and 3.
I receive forecast in plant 1. Convert it to PIR in plant 1, and run MRP for plant1.
Plant 2 is the supplier plant for Plant 1, but it is not manufacturing.
Plant 3 is the production plant which supplies to plant 2 and plant 2 gives to plant 1.
How can i automatically create planned orders in both plant 2 and plant 3 directly from plant 1 through MRP.
Also I need to do this without Special Procurement type.

As Told by Mario you have to achieve this through SPK only in Std SAP. You have to create to one new SPK for each plant (1 & 2 plant).
Say for Plant one Create SPK 41 Stock Transfer from plant 2. Under Special procurement header select
    Special procurement - U
    Plant - 0002
    Procurement type - F
For Plant two Create SPK 42 Stock Transfer from plant 3. Under Special procurement header select
    Special procurement - U
    Plant - 0003
    Procurement type - F
No when you will give the demand for 0001 plant & run the MRP demand will be flown till 0003 Plant through STO.
If have any query plz come back.

Hi Read this fully and configure accordinngly
Configure Inter company Stock Transport Order
Material should exist in both the plants (Delivering & Ordering),
Internal customer should be assigned to the ordering plant ( MM -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Setup stock transport order -> assign the internal customer to the ordering plant and assign the Sales area of the internal customer.
Assign its Sales area to the delivering plant
Assign the document type and Delivery type NB and NLCC
Assign the Supplying plant --> Receiving Plant --> NB
Take the delivering plant and assign the sales area.
Vendor master has to be created and assign the supply source (Delivering Plant).
    Create a purchase order ME21N ---> Save
Delivery VL10 G ---> Calculation rule (appropriate) --> Assign the purchase order number here and execute.
Select the Delivery creation line and do the back ground process.
Start the log display and see the delivery document number by the documents button
Goto VL02N --> do picking and PGI --> Then do the MIGO with respect to the delivery document.
Billing (Intercompany pricing conditions should be set).
    AND
    1. Customer No. for the Goods Receiving Plant - OMGN
    2. Availability Check- Checking Rule (if necessary) - OMGN
    3. Assign a Delivery Type for the Delivering Plant - OMGN (for Stock Transport Orders, NLCC)
    4. PO type (which i believe you have done) - OMGN
    5. Assign Vendor No. to the Supplying Plant (done) - VK02
    6. Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Company Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant),
IMG-SD-Billing-Inter Company Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org
***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Company Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination Procedure
    INTERCOMPANY PRICING:
PI01 Inter company: fixed amount per material unit
PI02 Inter company: percentage of the net invoice amount
These condition types specify that the price charged by the delivering plant to the sales organization is shown as a statistical value in the sales order and an effective charge in the internal invoice.
The condition records you create and maintain for inter company billing are the same kind of records that you create for pricing in general.
    IV01 Inter-company Price ERLOS Revenue
    IV02 Inter-company % ERLOS Revenue
    STO:
    STO CONFIG:
The following steps have to be followed in order to configure stock transport order between two plants.

    2. In the purchasing data view assign the supplying plant and the schema group
    3. Create customer with the sales area of the vendor.
    4. The shipping conditions, the delivering plant and the transportation zone determine the route in the STO.
    5. In the pricing procedure determination relevant to the STO assign document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure to get the pricing in the invoice.
    6. Maintain condition records for pricing condition.
    7. Maintain carrier as a partner in the customer master.
    8. In OMGN select the supplying plant and assign the company code and sales area. Similarly select the receiving plant and assign the company code and sales area (The company code to which the plant is assigned to).
    9. Assign the delivery type and checking rule to the document type.
    10. And finally, assign the purchasing document type to the supplying plant and the receiving plant.
    11. Create the STO using T-Code ME 21N and save.
    12. Check for release strategy if any and release using T-Code ME 28.
    13. Create delivery in background using VL10G.
    14. If delivery is created, it is an indication of correct configuration and master data creation.
Stock transfer between two plants in different company codes is known as inter company stock transfer.
Material shoud be maintained in both supplying and receiving plant MM01

  • Restriction of planned order generation (mrp)in other plant.

    Hi,
I am running mrp for sales orders and i want to restrict the planned order generation in other plants other than the sales order plant.
through standard activity it can be blocked by not maintaining special procurement key of stock transfer.
But some users are creating manual demand in other plant(STPO) against the same sales order for some sub assembly. so if they are running MD02 in their plant it is creating planned orders against the same sales order.
I want to restrict the planned order generation against any sales order in other plants. How it can be done.any enhancement please suggest.
    Regards
    Madan

    Hi,
we cannot restrict the authorizations so specifically here in my business client.
Based on planned orders we have defined some programs.
the programs are  effecting because of these unwanted planned orders which have been created  for a different plant sales orders.
Is there any enhancement or BADI to control the creation of planned orders in other plant for a sales order of different plant.
    please suggest.

  • Deletion of firmed Planned orders

    Hi,
I want to delete the firmed planned orders & Purchase Requisitions for Multiple plants,(Not using MRP Run) so can any one advise me if there is any SAP standard transaction or Program available.
I have tried using MD19, but here we can pick firmed Planned orders only w.r.t Material or MRP contriller, we can not select Planned orders of whole plant (or) for Multiple plants.
Please let me know if required any further information.
    regards,
    PR

    Hi,
Not sure if CO41 can meet this need. If you select the lines & click on delete it is just removed from the list & not from the database. However if there is any new functionality added to CO41 for deletion would be glad to know.
However for mass deletion of planned orders you can do this via a Z program using Bapi - BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_DELETE & for Purchase Requisitions use BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE along with BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. Provide your specifications to your abaper & it should be possible.

  • Automatic Plan Order Creation on Sales Order save

    Hi friends,
We are having an requirement where Automatic Plan Order should be created on Sales Order saving.
We have Material A in Plant 1000 & Plant 5000.
Plant 5000 in plant where Manufacturing is carried out & Plant 1000 is service Plant.
We are using Special Procurement key for Material A in 1000 Plant which triggers procurement from Plant 5000.
When Sales Order is entered in Service Plant 1000, after saving Order Plan Order should be created in both Service Plant 1000 & Manufacturing Plant 5000 along with Sales order reference.
I have tried using Strategy Type 81 but Plan Order is created while saving Order only in Service plant (1000), but with Procurement Type (E - In-house Production) & No Plan Order created in Plant 5000.
Can you please guide me how to meet requirement?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jiaul,
    Thanx for reply.
I have already assigned the Special Procurement Key to Material A in Plant 1000.
In Plant 1000 procurement type is F (External procurement)
But when Plan Order is created after saving Sales Order it is created with Procurement type E (In house production).
If I delete Firm Plan Order generated & run MRP for Sales Order / Item. It gives me required output generating Plan Order in both Plants.

  • Planned order deletion in mass

    Hi,
I want to delete all palnned orders in the plant.
Planned order can be deleted using MD16. In MD16, MRP controller is the mandatory field. We can't delete all the planned orders in one stretch in a plant. We can delete the planned orders in a plant MRP controller by MRP controller only. My requirement is without giving MRP controller, the system has to delete all the planned orders in the given plant.
Is there anyother way to delete all the planned orders in a plant.
