  • Statutory deductions are not appearing in the Remuneration statement

    Hi Friends,
I have done all configurations to Indian Payroll including ESI, PF etc.,. To configure these deductions I have used SAP standard wage types. Everything is at the configuration level. But these are not appearing in HR form. Any customisation has to be done in addition to this. Can anybody help me in this regard.
    Best Regards,
    KP Gupta

    Krishna,
I suggest that you check the window screen as well.  Assuming you have developed the remuneration statement like most companies' pau slips, you would have created one window for Earnings and another for Deductions.  You need to assign groups to each window.  Double click anywhere inside the Deductions window and you will get a window listing the groups assigned to the window.  Double-click on the group(s) listed in the window to check if the deduction you need is listed there.
Like Ram Manohar suggested, also check the deductions side of the cumulation ID.
Also, go through the standard Remuneration Statement for India IN01 that's provided to check your form.
Let me know what you find.

  • Discrepancy in PF Calculation

    Hi,
The PF is getting calculated  for the employees on the basis of their number of days working which is an error. For ex if an employee  has worked for 10 days or 23 days a month , PF is calculated accordingly whereas it shld not be done. If an employees basic salary is above Rs6000 standard Rs 780 shld be deducted irrespective of the no of days worked.
I have checked in the IT 587 the option Eligible Pay or PF basis whichever is less is selected for the employees.
Please help me fix this error.

generally we have two options one is
    in 587
if u select VPF it will caluculate on with 12% on basic salary
and if u select EPF it will caluculate on 6500 rs check V_T511P
    through SM30
and can u be more clear with ur requirement
as PF is statutory deduction we cannot make any changes

  • Regarding mid year go-live

    Dear Gurus,
i am new to midyear glive. i have gone through the threads on it n i got some idea..
but i have the following doubts:
    1. when should i upload the data n run inlk schema? before golive or after go live??
    2. if after golive, whether it should be before first live run or after payroll run??
    3. what should be the control record status at the time of uploading the tables?
4.we give all the wagetype with payments n deductions data, but what about p.f,esi, lwf and lwf...?
5.what wagetypes should i give for statutory deductions.
if i am not wrong then,p.f=/3f1,esi=/3e1,p.tax=/3p1, lwf=/3w1 . correct me if im wrong.
    5. do i need to update it deductions also, or system will calculate???
if yes is it enough to add /460=income tax deducted every time???
    6. how about the exemptions part?? do i need to maintain some data related to that??

In this IMG node a link has been given to table T558B.In this table the pre go live periods has to be entered with the personnel number and start date and the end date for a particular period.
In this IMG node the link has been given to table T558C . In this table the data for each personnel number entered in table T558B for every period has to be entered. All the payments and deductions for an employee needs to be entered in this table.
the schema INLK which is the schema used for Mid Year Go Live purpose. It also shows the selection screen of the payroll driver HINCALC0 which needs to be executed with schema INLK.
Check The documentation on how to use the schema INLK  The two file existing in this location relevant for INLK are :
       1) Legacy Data Transfer and
       2) An excel sheet named HR Template u2013 Payroll u2013 This excel sheet contains two tabs 558B and 558C . Data can be entered   in  tables T558B and T558C with the use of this excel sheet and SAP provided programs HINUULK0
mean apart from /3f1,/3e1,/3w1 n /3p1 i also need to maintain er contributions like /3f3-pf er contribution, /3f2-vpf ee contribution,
/3f4-vpf er contribution, /3e2-esi er contribution, /3w2-lwf er contribution.
Yes as form 16  requires those wage types also
n i also have to maintain /560 for net pay n /460 for income tax???
i dont think so for /560  but income tax we have to modify (iam not Sure abt This ) Wait for other expert views
hw about exemptions what wagetpes do i give for exemptions????
yes we have to give the Exemptions as in Form 16  your Gorss income -  Exemptions is the Total Taxable income right
have a look at this one alo
    Please check

  • Mid year Go-Live (India Payroll)

    Hi,
My client's business is now in ECC 5.0,
Now we are going live on 01.01.2010 in ECC 6.0, this is not upgradation project, its a fress implementation so please tell me what all are precautions i need to take before going live on 01.01.2010. as this is a mid year Go-Live.
And is there any problem for legal forms like Form 16, form 24 Q, pension and PF, because first 9 months results are in ECC 5.0 and next 3 months means 01.01.2010. 01.02.2010 and 01.03.2010 will be in ECC 6.0.
    Help me
    Thanks
    Chaithanya Reddy

    Hi
Using the Mid Year Go Live functionality, you can upload the final payroll results from your legacy data
systems into the SAP system. The final payroll results are the actual payments and deductions of an
employee salary. They must include statutory, non-statutory deductions (including third party deductions),
arrears and the contributions of the employer.
Data transfer INLK Payroll Tables T558B and T558C Upload program (HINUULK0), which reads the
payroll results information from the spreadsheet template, and uploads it into the Payroll Account
Transfer: Payroll Periods table (T558B) and Payroll Account Transfer: Old Wage Types table (T558C).
The system reads these tables for the purpose of payroll conversion.
Transfer of payroll account from Table 5558B,C - India schema (INLK), which when run as a part of
    the payroll program, HINCALCO,
For transferring your legacy data and uploading the same into the SAP system, you are provided with the:
HR Template - Payroll.xls (Microsoft Excel) file, containing templates that drive the data load
programs, for converting the legacy data.
Data load program(HINUULK0 ) that facilitates the transfer of data into the SAP system. It loads the
data saved in the spreadsheet into the Payroll Account Transfer: Payroll Periods table (T558B) and
Payroll Account Transfer: Old Wage Types table (T558C) in the SAP system. These are the data
conversion tables for the Mid Year Go Live functionality.
Standard executable schema (INLK) that formats the uploaded legacy data, into SAP Payroll Period results and stores the result in relevant payroll cluster tables
You need to consider all the relevant Primary and secondary wage types for respective accurate tax calculation while uploading in the table  for the individual period
All wage components that has been paid to the employees
like Basic , HRA, conveyance need to upload with respective wage type code which you define
You have to take all deductions that has deducted to the employee
    Transport, Canteen etc
You have to use the system generated wage types to update the tax and statutory data
    ex - Income tax - /460
           PF - /3f1
You have to take the exemption wage type for HRA , Conveyance
    /3R1 etc....
    Hope you got some idea
    Regards

  • PF Tech. wage types

    Hi
Will these following wagetypes populate in RT during the Payroll run?
is it necessary to populate. If not populated what happens?
    /3F1     Ee PF contribution
    /3F2     Ee VPF contribution
    /3F3     Er PF contribution
    /3F4     Er Pension contribution
    /3F5     Ee Mon PF contribution
    /3F6     Ee Ann PF contribution
    /3F7     EDLI contri * 1,00,000
    /3F8     EDLI adm chrgs * 1,00,000
    /3F9     PF adm chrgs * 1,00,000
    Regards
    vinmax

yes these technical wage types will be populated in RT.... it is SAP standard...
these technical wage types are useful for reporting purpose  and based on this SAP will calculate the respective statutory deductions like PF, ESI, VPF...
with respect to 100,000 this is used for decimials.....

  • DDNTK and ARREARS PROCESSING???

In Indonesian payroll during processing of PRPRI function the net amount (/550)is taken and other deductions which are marked for arrears processing are compared for sufficient deductions and if enough net amount(/550) doesn't exist then based on arrears entry in t51p6,amount is deducted from /550 and the rest maintained in arrears table to be processed in next payroll.
I am not clear while arriving at /550 ,/110 is already taken into consideration and amount is deducted. Why is the system again deducting in PRPRI function? Its showing wrong values on payslip.Where the issue could be? Any thoughts?
Ex:  Deduction wt 7700.PC20:1 PC41:3 t51p6 entry priority:C arrears processing:3 no retro accounting. Now in gross to net calculation /550 is arrived after deducting /110,tax and pf contributions from /101.Now the payroll log is going to PRPRI function and again the entries marked for arrears processing are deducted from /550 resulting in reduced net pay?Where is the issue?how should I proceed?

I'm not familiar with Indonesia's Payroll, but I believe that the basic principles should be similar for all Countries (but I may be wrong).
In Canada, if the employee does not have enough net earnings to cover all his/her deductions, then it loops in sub-schema KDD0.  The deductions are then prioritized according to the WT's Priority in V_T51P6, and the amounts that can't be deducted are transfered into table DDNTK (Deductions not taken), and some are transfered int table ARRRS for processing in the next pay (depending on the WT's Arrears parameters in V_T51P6).
/550 should represent Gross Earnings less the Statutory Deductions (such as Income Tax and other government mandated deductions).  It is the amount from which the other Deductions (sometimes referred to Contractual and Voluntary Deductions) and Garnishments are deducted from.
If a deduction is not taken and transfered to arrears, it should not impact the net pay.

    Hi Rama,
Check the Start date in table T7INW3.
    Config steps are as follows.
IMG  Payroll  Payroll India  Other Statutory and Non Statutory Deductions  Assign Universal Contributions Groupings for Universal Contribution Types.
IMG  Payroll  Payroll India  Other Statutory and Non Statutory Deductions  Assign State for Universal Contribution Grouping.
IMG  Payroll  Payroll India  Other Statutory and Non Statutory Deductions  Assign Slab Code and Other Parameters for Each State of a Univ. type.
IMG  Payroll  Payroll India  Other Statutory and Non Statutory Deductions  Assign Contribution Value for Each Slab.
I dont know about the lwf rule in Tamil Nadu, On which month it will be deducted and what is the slab.
    Can u give those details.
