Sync messages failed due to high load

Hi!
On our test system we had a very high load of async messages for 3 - 4 hours. The async messages were processed successfully but all sync messages failed during this time frame! As soon as the high load of async messages stopped, the sync messages started executing successfully again.
Has anybody also experienced this kind of problem and what can be done to avoid this issue? Thanks for any input and suggestions.
Regards, Tanja

hey Tanja,
i had a similar issue when testing the box with Load runner, that a simple sync scenario fails when the size of payload or attachment is high, the thing that i did is just increased the virtual memory ,
You can also check the trace files to figure out problem ?
This might not be a definitive answer , hope this helps,
Vara

COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO OVERCOME THIS.
    YOUR SOLUTION AND GREATELY APPRITIATED.
    REGARDS,
    DHANANJAY

    Hi Dhanajay,
Firstly check if R3trans -d is working fine.
If so, please chek if the following parameters are set properly.
    DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run
    TRANSDIR = ....\trans
    <SID>/DBHOST = <HOSTNAME>
    <SID>/DBNAME = <SID>
    <SID>/DBTYPE = ora
Execute the below command and check the transport profile:
    tp check all pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL
Please confirm the permission of the /oracle/ directory
The permission of the /oracle should be 755.
Also check if the import queue is not locked.
Also please ensure the Kernel is of latest version, if not, please update the DBSL shared library. Please look at the note 19466.
Finally you can try once distributing and activating the transport routes once.
When you executed command R3trans -d logfile trans.log will be created.
Please check this file for exact error information.
    Paste the log file here.
    Let us know the outcome.

    Hi ,
    Thanks for all
    Issue is resolved by myself.
Instead of update Kernel to 640 , I have downloaded latest 620 kernel patch on IA 64 .
Since my production server is running on x86 and 620 kernel , i have downloaded 620 kernel for IA 64 .
    That resolved my issue.

Is there a way to get an error message back if a txt message does not go through the netwrok successfully?  The outbox icon shows up on my main screen but I would much rather have an error message so I can try to send again when there is better network coverage.  Is there a setting on the phone to control this?
    Thanks

you need to ensure your message settings are correct and that the file size is not over your networks capacity most phones now will tell you this also clear all outbox and sent items to free up phone memory
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Lenovo e540 High tempreture valies due to high load

Dear support, I would like to report that my lenovo e540 is reaching really high tempreture values. While playing games (HOTS) the laptop reaches around 80-85 C degrees.
Since i had upgraded to Windows 10 Pro I had two freezes on different evenings.
When the laptop reaches high tempretures, the ventilator kinda does not want to go "man" mode and cool up the machine.
I know that that the vent can do more I've heard it when I was updating bios(current v2.19).
On a stress test I managed to reach 95 C degrees! No freeze!
I opened the back cover, there is no dust accumulation on vent or grill. I am using only flat surfaces!.
Please advice how to procceed or is it normal.
    Radoslav Miroslavov

    Hi rmiroslavov,
    Welcome to Lenovo Forums!
You can limit the max CPU ratio via power option,
To do it via the Power Options, right click the battery icon (or electrical plug icon) in the lower left corner of the screen, then...
Select a power plan and then click "Change plan settings"
    Click "Change Advanced Power Settings"
Look for "Processor power management" and expand it
    Expand "Maximum processor state"
And also request you to update the power management from below given link.
    http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-edge-laptops/thinkpad-edge-e540/downloads/DS032258
You can now enter the percentage usage of the CPU while the laptop is plugged in.
Please let us know whether the above steps helped you.

  • Connect failed due to dbsl

    Hi gurus,
We are upgrading the test server.we face a problem.the error message is "connect failed due to dbsl load lib failure".
"cannot find the dll dboraslib.dll in path"
But dboraslib.dll in the Dir_executable path.
    Please provide the solution.
    regards
    gunamoorthy d

you must check the system path or user path, not dir_executable.
    try this:
    start -> Run
    CMD
    set
you will see a list of parameters, check the values for PATH. you must have an entry equivalent to your dir_executable. if not, do this:
    right click on MY COMPUTER
    choose PROPERTIES
    click on ADVANCED tab
    click on button ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE
change PATH to add the needed path.
once this is completed, you will need to restart SAP services and close down all command prompts... then try again.

We are having oracle 10g on AIX 5.3.
I tried options like setting LIBPATH with /oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient (instead of the default /oracle/client/9208/lib) along with /usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run and having LIBPATH only with /usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run and having env variable DBS_LIBPATH_EXT=/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient (as per note 836517)
but if i try to restart PREPARE again, it is picking up the changes happening in LIBPATH (but same error) and also it not picking up DBS_LIBPATH_EXT env variable at all (may be if i try to make it permanent using .sh file it will pick up but i dont want that)
With all the above said, anyone has any perfect idea to have this issue fixed and continue the prepare process ?
    Thanks,
    Murali.

    Hi Markus,
Thanks for your reply. The issue is as follows:
If i keep the current default value of the env variable LIBPATH which is
    LIBPATH=/usr/lib:/lib:/usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run:/usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/runU:/oracle
    /client/9208/lib
and being in /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run (which is 6.40 kernel ECC 5.0) if i execute
ldd dboraslib.o the following is the output:
    dboraslib.o needs:
             /usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run/libsapu16.so
             /usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run/libclntsh.a(shr.o)
             /oracle/client/9208/lib/libwtc9.so

             /usr/lib/libc.a(aio_64.o)
             /unix
             /usr/lib/libcrypt.a(shr_64.o)
being in /usr/sap/put/exe (which is in the middle of PREPARE step for ECC 6.0 upgrade, so it put kernel 7.0 files), the following is the output:
    dboraslib.o needs:
             /usr/lib/libc.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run/libclntsh.a(shr.o)
             /unix
             /usr/lib/libcrypt.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libpthreads.a(shr_xpg5_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libdl.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libodm.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libc.a(aio_64.o)
But if i change the environment variable for LIBPATH as follows:
    LIBPATH=/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient:/usr/lib:/lib:/usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/run:
/usr/sap/DR5/SYS/exe/runU  (since we have already installed oracle 10g which is up and running and so we have already installed instant client also during that process)
the following is what the output for both the path as mentioned earlier:
    #[/usr/sap/put/exe]
    #dr5adm@sapdr5-3d[DR5]> ldd dboraslib.o
    dboraslib.o needs:

             /oracle/client/92x_64/lib/libwtc9.so
             /usr/lib/libc.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libpthreads.a(shr_xpg5_64.o)
             /usr/lib/libdl.a(shr_64.o)

             /usr/lib/libcfg.a(shr_64.o)
             /usr/lib/liblvm.a(shr_64.o)
DIR_LIBRARY on both the cases and by default also is /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run (pointing to running 6.40 kernel)
But if i try the PREPARE with or without this changes, the issue what i reported is what happening. Let me know your ideas on this.
    Thanks,

    Hey,
Ask the developer that wrote the end routine to check the code where the error occurs. First check if too much data is transferred and if it can be reduced. Then also check if the object needs to be extended 460652 - Extending key figures in BW.

  • 'OMF export failed due to internal error' message

    Hi,
Has anyone ever got an 'OMF export failed due to internal error' message when trying to export in OMF format?
I get that every time I try to export in that format.
How can I make it work?
    Thanks and best,

    Hello BillM39,
Have you tried out the steps in the article below? It has troubleshooting options for when you are having issues syncing anything from Outlook to your iPhone. Make sure to have a back up of your iPhone first before going through options like resetting the Sync History as well as disabling any Outlook add-ins that may be the culprit.

  • Error message "Failed to load book because the requested resource is missing" on iPhone

I purchased 3 books in itunes to read on my iphone using ibooks. I have synced and I can see the books in my iBooks bookshelf, but when I try to open them I get an error message "Failed to load book because the requested resource is missing". I have tried opening the book again, deleting and resyncing but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I was having the same probem.
I found success when I shut my iphone down all the way (press and hold power button then "slide to power off")
then started it back up.  My phone was linked to my computer at the time, so it went through the sync - not sure if that is important.  But, I can now read my books!
    Good luck
