When I install the version 4403 (MSI Version) or 44.XX, I lose the signal of the monitor when executing chkdsk in my Windows XP, this does not happen when I use version 3.51.000 or previous....This also happens before showing the login screen.

Previous versions when you close your window and reopen Firefox your downloads are unaffected until your downloads are finished or you cancel it yourself. Is there a setting I can set that my downloads are unaffected when I close my window.

You can set the browser.download.manager.quitBehavior pref to 2 on the about:config page.<br />
That will make Firefox ask for confirmation if you want to cancel the download if you close Firefox.

Hi,
Digital imaging monitor is a part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program enables you to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the unit to the comuter and so on. Its not neccesary, but it will limit the printers use if you remove it.

Monitor settings lost when switching user accounts.

Hi! I just recently noticed that every time i switch user accounts, my monitor settings get corrupted.
There are 2 user accounts in my ibook. One account is used for work while the other one is used for home purposes. The work account has a specific monitor setting which is calibrated to our workstations. The other account has default settings on it.
My question is that when I switch users, the settings for my work account gets corrupted. I also can't change the settings without having to restart the book.
I already repaired permissions and zapped the pram. The same thing still happens.

I've had this problem too. Like you, I managed to navigate to do a restart, but nothing else would make the mouse cursor reappear.
Bruce, I wasn't using Biggy, PinPoint or any of the other mouse visibility things, simply the magnification provided by System Preferences.
I put it down to a fault on 10.4.4—a very buggy release— and haven't yet been able to reproduce it on 10.4.5.
I suggest you send a fault report to Apple ([email protected]), explaining all the circumstances. Try always undoing the cursor zoom before switching users (yes, that's a pain too!!!). And if I manage to reproduce the problem, I promise I'll send in a fault report too!

The +/- sign of Account is in chaos when resetting Account type

Hi my friends:
Now I encount one problem, at first some Account type is set empty when customer firstly develop. But now they change some empty Account type into INC, but all the number for these Account become negative sign.
I have met this problem several times, do any one know this is a bug or some way to solve this problem?

[Desktop] Remember the size, position and monitor last used when Spotify was closed

I always use Spotify on my smaller secondary monitor, but every time it loads it appears on my primary monitor and is the "default" size, so I need to move it to the other monitor and resize the window on a daily basis. Could Spotify remember the last know position and size it was set to, and automatically load using these settings next time it's opened? Thanks,James

If you have not been able to install iTunes because the Windows Installer service is not available, I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following troubleshooting to help.
Issues installing iTunes for Windows
These in particular:
Make sure you have an administrator account.
To install iTunes, you'll need to log in to your computer with an administrator password. If you're not sure if you have an administrator account, read Windows 7: How do I log on as an administrator? You could also refer to your computer's help system, contact your IT department, or visit support.microsoft.com for assistance.
Install the latest Microsoft Windows updates.

Deskjet 2542 all in one error: 'the specified module could not be found' when installing to USB

Installation proceeds OK until the USB cable is connected, when the error message is displayed and installation ceases.
I have successfully istalled and run the printer on another XP PC of a similar age - ie old.
I have upgraded the XP OS to SP3 with numerous updates;
Checked that the USB ports read Data sticks OK;
run a/v and malware programs, including Microsoft Safety Scanner;
checked that USB drivers are up to date;
uninstalled driver software and re-installed with software downloaded from HP;
carried out the procedures detailed in HP Support Forum 4022116
Error message the same.
This is for my elderly neighbour - help please!

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your HP Deskjet 2542 gives you the error: 'the specified module could not be found' when installing to USB, on Windows XP.
I would recommend going through the steps in this post, Re: Install Error "The system cannot find the file specified" (hpzprl40.exe). When you get to the printer install wizard section, just use the full feature software and drivers found at this website, HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers. As the printer install wizard is only for Windows 7 and up.

Workflow issue - When i execute the workitem it just disappears

i am learning workflow. i am just following some instructions on one of the tutorials and i developed a simple workflow for editing material number when a material is created. i create the material in mm01 and the event gets triggered and i get the work item in my inbox. When i execute the workitem it just disappears and comes into my outbox. I am not able to go to the edit screen of the material( mm02) what am i missing? if i only use task then it works fine without any issues, if i include the same task in a workflow and trigger it does not open mm02. plz help

Have you checked the workflow log ?
If not in your business work place, got to Outbox --> Work Items executed by me
The click on the workflow log button. Analyze the log.
There are various reasons why this can happen, so cant really say much about why this issue is occurring without more details.
Also you will probably get better answers if post this in the Workflow forum than in the ABAP forum.

Looking at the code it seems like there is no error but someone has put explicit Break point in the code, now you have two options,
1) Once you get the above screen just press F8 and let the extractor proceed. But everytime this will be manual process.
2) Remove the Break-point statement from the code.
As you said it is asking for Access Key, then get your developer key generated on service.sap.com or contact to your basis team.

When I upgraded my Mac Pro HDs I lost the capcity for 2 monitors. One monitor works fine but the second one is not "seen" by the Mac Pro. Help?

My MacPro is a dual quad core 2.8 intell processor system with 6 gig of RAM and 4 HDs. I recently upgraded the HDs from 500 gig each to 2 TB each. I did that by copying each existing hard drive to a new hard drive and then inserting the new hard drive where the copied drive had been. I followed all of the instructions for the OX system that came after copying and replacing the drive with the OX on it. Unfortunately now I can no longer use the 2 monitors that I used to use on the system. One monitor works fine, the second on is not found by the OX system and simply won't respond or receive a signal from the computer. Any ideas?

Have you tried a NVRAM / PRAM reset?
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Have you upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 for compatibility with Yosemite? If not, try that first.
It looks like iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the original image files.
This can be caused by a corrupted iPhoto library, or the originals have been deleted or moved.
Try first to rebuild your iPhoto Library:
If you do not have a current backup of the iPhoto library, make a copy of the library, but do not overwrite any previous backup.
Launch iPhoto with the ⌥⌘-key combination (option-command) held down.
Select "rebuild" from the first aid panel. This may take a while for a large library.
Can you now see your photos again?
If not, rebuild the library with iPhoto Library manager as described by Old Toad: Re: iphoto crashed
