THEY MUST NOT WANT ME TO PAY MY BILL AS THEY HAVE CUT ME OFF FROM MY VERIZON. CAN'T GET IN TO SEE IF CHARGES ARE BEING APPLIED TO MY BILL THAT I HAVE NOT MADE.  I AM LEAVING TOWN SO SHOULD I JUST TELL THEM TO STICK IT?

However, you may dial #PMT from that deactivated Verizon Wireless phone to make payment to your account by credit card or check. You may also call our automated system at 800-922-0204 from an alternate device or landline phone to make payment, as well.

    If you have moved the apps to the trash and can't empty the Trash >  You can't empty the Trash or move a file to the Trash
    Prior to downloading content from the internet make sure Gatekeeper is enabled. That will help to avoid malware.

  • American express website does not allow me to pay my bill online

    I am running firefox 3.5.13 on windows XP SP2. The previous release of Firefox worked fine. When I go to the american express web site and try to do the online bill paying routine it fails to work. It will show my account info as expected but when I hit the "Pay Bill" icon the next page that comes up is blank. It has "headers" or banners at the top and bottom from american express but nothing in between. At the bottom left of my display, the text reads "done" indicating the page had loaded apparently. I have disabled all plugins and extensions, cleared cookies and cache. What is wrong with this and how do I fix it? The page works as expected if I use IE but I do not care for IE.

    There is an "idea exchange" on these forums, however it's not clear to me how much attention Verizon pays to it.  You might want to post a helpful suggestion there.

    Note that online bill pay does not always result in a paper check.  For major payees like Verizon, most bill pay systems use an electronic check.  Not only does this save the payee the cost of processing the check, it eliminates the paper processing and postage costs for the bank.  In short, you're not costing Verizon much, if anything by using bank bill pay.  In fact, you may even be saving them a little money as the fees on credit card transactions are probably higher than the cost of accepting electronic bill pay.

  • Do not want to pay for spotify premium after free 48 hour trial.

    This may be a stupid question, but bear with me.  I recently signed up for spotify and did not realize that there was a free and premium subscription.  I was automatically put on a 48 free trial for premium, but I do not want to start paying for premium when the trial is over.  For those that have more experience with spotify, do I just wait until the free trial is over and then I'll automatically be on the free subscription, or do I need to delete an account or the trial in order to not have to pay anything?  Thanks for your help in advance.

    I'm interested in getting a 3-month premium subscription for my sister for Christmas but I want her to take advantage of the 30-day free trial to make sure she really likes this site (she will be mainly using this on her iPad so I have some concerns that I want to make sure to iron out before she starts). Anyhow, I just wanted to know if her 3-month subscription will start from the date of purchase or AFTER the 30-day free trial is over. If you can help, please let me know.     Recalling, it definitely was a fake update notification because it had 3 things to install and Mozilla never sends that. The toolbar and some search engine and I don't recall the third, but that was the start of it all. Ever since I have been getting these update notifications. I took you guys advice and used a link provided and went to Fire Fox and downloaded an upgrade. I bookmarked that link and to be safe from now on I will only download it manually from there. It is too bad because for years Fire Fox has been automatically updating but it seems like these phony installers link to a computer and harass them. There was a Google redirect and even a G-mail interference. Next thing I have to do is use those malware and virus cleaners and try and remove any tag links that might be calling these fake update notices. Another one that I think caused trouble is an Adobe Flash Player update. Same thing, Adobe always updated automatically, then it started trying to add these things same as Fire Fox. Thanks everybody, at least I know better what to look out for.

I do not have passwords on an auto save function, as I want to type my passwords in each time for security. My password for this site will only work a short WHILE, AND THEN it will not be recognized by the site and I cannot get in.
    Then I must contact the company to reset or clear it manually on their end so it can be reset. They always give me the SAME SETUP PASSWORD to use. I use it, then I RESET PASSWORD on my end. The computer seems to remember my user NAME AT least on my computer as it comes up once I start typing the username in. They SAY IT is a settings issue on my end. I do not have this problem on any other site even THOSE WITH higher SECURITY. I need to FIX the issue OR may LOSE ACCESS To the site as is very aggravating for them and they say other have had the problem but usually with chrome but never constantly.I am not that computer literate ,but my husband is an IT Security professor and textbook writer but says doesn't really know Firefox. I do not really want to store passwords on computer as have been hacked several times. He and I do not understand some of the terms mentioned. since it is not a problem with other sites it should be fixable. Please me help using terms I or my husband can understand without having to give Firefox all my passwords. I would be happy to set up something different just for this one site if I need to but need easy instructions. Have cleared the cookies before but it still happens. What setting do I need to change or set to fix this? the other questions that come up seem very different and do not apply. FF 22 now but happened w other FF versions.

    I'm having a little trouble understanding the part about your password having to be reset. Why is that happening??
    Let's start with Firefox's settings:
    (1) You can configure the password manager feature on this tab:
    orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security
    There is a checkbox to enable/disable the feature.
    There also is a "Saved Passwords" button to review and remove any passwords you do not want Firefox to keep.
    That tab also has a feature to set a Master Password so that no one can use your saved passwords without knowing the Master Password. You may need to exit Firefox in order for Firefox to ask for that again.

    (2) Site-specific permissions

    To clear a suggestion, press the down arrow key to highlight it and press the Delete key.

  • Should I pay the $245 for support? I ask because every time I have they could not fix the problem, I found the problem on my own.

    I ask because every time I did call they could not fix the problem, as in I could not send mail, I was told it was my Internet, then they tell me it is my computer. After spending many many hours on the phone with Apple, I was told I had to reload my hard drive. Which by the way takes a lot more then a few hours. The next day I found I still had the same problem. I could not send mail... I found the problem my self// I didn't have a mail box set up to send mail. How sample that was. Then the next time if I wanted to empty trash I had to turn off the computer then reset to do so. When I called tech support she tells me that is normal and they had to do the same thing every time. Well she is wrong in that if you use "empty securely" and not the one that just says empty trash then you do not have to reset or turn off your computer.... So I ask what am I paying $245.00 for?  I am sure I will need support at some time, and at least it does give me someone to talk to.

    FYI - there has not been a name brand consumer personal computer actually manufactered in the USA in years.  Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Apple, Samsung,... - you name it they are ALL made in China or Tiawan. Often many of those brands are being assembled by the same Chinese company in the exact same factory, pulling parts (hard drives, displays, RAM, etc) from the exact same bins.  Foxconn for example, which makes iPhones and iPads for Apple, also makes dozens of other makes and models of tablets, ereaders and smart phones for other companies.  Like it or not, but the consumer electronic manufactering center of the world is China.
    The only consumer computers actually made in the USA these days are by local custom build companies, and it has actually been that way for many years now (I think twinhead may have been one of the last with a plant in the USA - they are still around, now GammaTech, and they still do their "final assembly" in the USA but most of thier manufacturing is done in Tiawan and Malaysia).
    By and large, the USA has been out of the actual consumer electronics manufacturing/assembly business for a decade or so now.

    lack of email app- makes this may purchase virtually useless. because
    cant bridge with my bb 9700. maybe twice after deleting from both, and rebridging, i got connections. i cant spend an hour bridging every time. since may this is unfixable. the support people cant fix it after dozens of hours. got lots.of emails from them though. asking if i was resolved. when i answered no, they asked me to do it all again. they have no fix for this.
    can type documents, but cant email them to anybody. same with excel. no way to attach documents when the bridge doesnt work.
    i am a ceo,and i am moving my entire organization off bb becuase of this.
    have spent many many hours from the beginning in may, and now they want me to pay a 129 dollar fee to get support when it has not worked right from the beginning.
    i bought an ipad today and i am absolutely blown away by how much better it is in every single way. dozens of bbs are going away now.
    slow, no.email, locks up all the time, stand by button restarts tablet, no bridging without total reload on both devices. why would i go through this anymore? it is costing my business a fortune with myself and my people trying to make the playbook work.
    we will get ipads and make more money.

    I would like to add my support to this comment.
    Strike 1) Bridging a BB 9700 with a PB is flaky at best. Even if you run the very latest software on both, it does not work properly. This is NOT a user issue but a programme/application issue. RIM software running on RIM hardware and O/S and NOT being able to connect properly = RIM fault.(see my other post: My Bridge connects, it exchanges data like passwords, number of unread emails and my playbook notifies me when someone calls my BB, but it does NOT unlock)
    Strike 2) All this used to work fine during the 90d grace suport period (apart from the flaky bluetooth issue that required a hard reboot of the BB whenever the connection was broken in a bad way)
    Strike 3) Now, after a PB OS upgrade (which I faithfully applied), several phone upgrades (due to another problem) and the latest Bridge application install, it all doesn't work anymore, 100 days after I bought the flipping thing. so I have a fancy ebook reader, not the productivity enhancing tool I can use on the go.
    So now I am stuck with a forum that can't help, a technical database that does not contain this support information and a broken RIM application on RIM Hardware and O/S that I paid a lot of money for. And now they want more to look at this incident????? I am sorry but if this was a problem caused by usage, configuration or any other user error, I could understand it. But this is all completely in RIMs ballpark. I have done everything right. It connects. It just DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
    As I said in my other post, an evaluation of the PB in my company is ongoing as a possible management tool by people I know quite well, as I work in the area, but my advice would definitely be to stay away until basic functionality like emails, attachments, calendars etcetera are all suitably solved and usable by the average manager with sausage fingers and no clue about bluetooth, hard reboots and who won't be able to hold down the power, + & - buttons at the same time as the fingers won't fit!!
    So RIM, get your finger out, open up an email support channel or get some qualified support people go through this forum and help those people who have shown faith in your products and who now have real problems with your software and hardware. DONT HIDE BEHIND A STUPID SUPPORT FEE - MAN UP TO YOUR PROBLEMS!!!

    Last night I found an app called photo transfer. It's free in the app store, and then you'll pay $1.99 to have it on your ipad, iphone, etc. The phototranferapp.com site tells you haw to use for android.
    (We haven't used it yet, but I've read so much here about people worrying about losing their pictures (because they're concerned that the pictures will be removed from all devices if they just delete, this can even help them.
    Please note we have not bought it yet. And please read the reviews in the itunes store before you decide. From what I read, a few are still concerned about the deleting issue, but transfering pictures out of your ipad to make space with this app will only transfer them, not delete them.
