  • Restrict Sales Order Visibility

    Hi all,
We have 2 Operating Units under one Ledger. Sales order created in OU1 can be viewed across OU2. Similar case for an AR invoice as well.
Is this is standard functionality (or) is there any setup to be done to have a control over that.
    we are in R12.1.1
    Please help
    Thanks
    Dinesh

    @Dinesh,
In case you don't have any security profiles already created to restrict visibility, try creating one Security Profile for each Operating Unit. Here's how:
    (1) If you have any HR Responsibility, check out the Security profile setup.
    (2) Check if there's one security profile for the operating units in question. Else create one - it should have the following options specified:
    A) Security Type = Secure organizations by organization hierarchy and/or organization list
    B) Enter the Operating Unit and Inv Organization names (not codes) under Organization names
    (3) Create on Responsibility for each Operating Unit access. In the profile 'HR : Security Profile' for the given responsibility (say, order management super user), set the value to the profile you created above.
    (4) Log into the responsibility and search for orders from all different operating units. You should be able to see records for only the Operating Unit that is registered for the Responsibility using Profile ‘MO: Operating Unit’
Please let me know if that helped. I am eager to know the outcome.
    @Mahendra,
    Try This Out:
    (1) If you have any HR Responsibility, check out the Security profile setup.
    (2) Check if there's one security profile for the Top Organization (Setup Business Group). Else create one - it should have the following options specified:
    A) Security Type = View all Organizations (no security)
    B) Check the checkbox 'Include Top Organization'
    C) Check the checkbox "View All Records"
    (3) In the profile 'HR : Security Profile' for the given responsibility (say, order management super user), set the value to the profile you created above.
    (4) Log into the responsibility and search for orders from all different operating units. They will all be visible WITHOUT any need to switch.

  • Sales Order visibility in CRM

    Hi Friends,
    Greetings.
If all transaction are taking place in R/3 including Sales order creation, Is there any visibility of these sales order from CRM.
    Regards,
    Jay

    Hi Jay
The standard order data exchange will download orders from R/3 to CRM. They are visible in CRM but they cannot be processed there.
This is also present implicitly in exchange scenarios X, Y, and Z. See note 541113 for more details.
In some CRM deployments this is enough as visibility is all that is required.
    Cheers
    Dom

  • Is qty shipped against Sales Order visible in ASCP workbench?

    Hi
Is it possible to view qty shipped against Sales Order in ASCP workbench either in collected data or plan output?
    Regards,
    Utkarsh

    Hi Utkarsh
There are a few scenarios which may happen if there is a shipped qty against a sales order line:
    1. Qty Shipped is within shipping tolerance - Sales order line will be closed and its no more an active demand for planning (assuming inventory/ invoicing interface etc are already run). While this SO line still may be collected in APS, its only used for forecast consumption purposes.
    2. Qty Shipped is outside shipping tolerance - Sales order line will be split automatically with shipped line being closed (with same behavior as above in #1) and new line with balance quantity.
Thus, planners WB doesn't need to show shipped quantity though I'm interested to learn the business objective for requesting this information in Planner's WB?
    Thanks

  • Thirdparty sales order

    Hi all,
For third party scenario ( item category TAS), at the time of Goods reciept is it normal to create sales order stock?
One of our clients using TAS to create sales order but when we go to mmbe,  can see stock allocated to the sales order. Is it a mistake?
    Please help
    Regards,
    Beena

    Hi Beema
First letus discuss on third party scenario.
    Scenario Brief:
Customer will place an order to the company/ business owner. Company/business owner raises PR/PO to the vendor and asks the vendor to supply the item to customer directly. Then the company will raise a billing for the transaction to the customer.
    In SAP
    SD Cycle
Sal order cycle --->>   Sale order ( automatic PR generation) --> Billing ( order related billing - Qty supplied copied from Invoice receipt -IR for example)
    MM Cycle:
Based on the automatic PR --->Purchase order  --> IR/IV
So, Incase of third party order there is no physical material movement taking place as vendor supplies the materials directly to customer rather receiving by the company.
There fore, There is no question of checking the stock in the stock overview screen.
    sincere suggestion:
Pls check the busniess process first  and  then act accordingly.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Replicated sales order not visible in transaction history

    Hi,
I am working on configuring business roles. The sales order gets replicated to ECC. The ECC sales order is visible in document flow in SAP GUI in transaction CRMD_ORDER. However the same ECC sales order number is not visible in transaction history Assignment block in Web UI. I tried even standard salespro role, still not able to view ECC sales order. Would you please help me the steps to be followed to make replicated sales orders visible in Web UI.
    Appreciate your help.
    With regards,
    Ravi

    Hi, Ravi
You have to set allowed transaction types for fact sheet.

  • User exits/BAdIs for Forecast consumption by sales order

    Hello Experts,
My question here is: When Sales Order either new or change comes from ECC to APO, what are key fields considered for Forecast Consumption? Is requirements strategy is considered from location product master or Sales Order brings own data from ECC into it's own structure? I have read from SAP help or documentation that Sales Order coming from ECC does not use requirement strategy from Product Master. Rather it get its own fields like planning strategy/group / requirement class from ECC. It uses location product master only to get consumption parameters like forward/back word consumption days. So I am thinking to use some user exits or BAdIs to enhance the incoming sales orders to consume separate forecast categories in APO.
    My requirement is:
For the same one product we want sales orders (can have two different order types or identify by a custom field) to consume two different order categories (ie. FA & FC) by enhancing incoming sales orders. So we have regular 1)Forecast key figure which is 'FA' category and 2)Forecast Additional key figure which is FC category. When we release two separate forecasts from DP we release into these two key figures and categories. Now we want incomping sales orders to consume these two categories separately when our sales orders are having two different order types (i.e OR and ZR).
I want to kow what way we can acomplish this? Are there any user exits or BAdIs for this purpose?
I looked arount BAdI /SAPAPO/DM_BADI_CSP and I am not quite sure it's going to help. Are there any others?
I appreciate if anybody explain me the process?
    Thanks in advance!
    Raj

Standard Logic --- Whatever plant is visible in the Sales Order, the sales order will appear under that Product Location in SNP
There is no standard way of making the sales order visible in another location.
Depending on your requirement(Ex: Forecast Consumption, planning etc),using APO-BW we can simulate the requirements in the other plant which can be a nightly run and not immediate.
Now coming to your question, if the delivering plant is A, how does ECC Delivery document know when the sales order has plant B that the delivering plant is A.
    Can you be more specific.
    THanks
    Kumar

  • Archive sales order BOM for archived sales order.

    hi,
i have a very strange situation.
i have few sales order BOMS to archive, we have VC (variant config) in place.
now while trying to archive the BOMS i get the error message that "the sales order doesn't exists in the database or archived".
i checked in the SD tables, and it seems that sales orders are archived. now how to archive those order BOMS????
    kindly give your inputs.
    Best regards,
    Maulin

    Hi Mr. Maulinmunshi,
As per my understanding, you can't archive the BOMs with making the sales order visible in system.
Try to check the order in T-code SARI.
Talk to your basis team and get back those sales order in the system
    Hope this helps.

  • Manual Condition Type should be visible in Sales order by default

    Hi
How to maintain manual condition types in Sales orders by default. They will be maintaining the value based on the discussion they had with the customer(Negotiated price). The condition type should be visible in the procedure and they will only enter the value.(The method of keying condition type manually is not accepted by the client).
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Vamsi Javaji.

    Hi,
In the PRICING PROCEDURE V/08 maintain the CONDITION TYPE as Mandatory
In the CONDITION TYPE V/06 maintain the field  MANUAL ENTRIES  as C which is Manual entry has a priority.
    And check the box VALUE
Now maintain the condition records for the condition type in VK11 with 0 value
Now while processing the sales order the CONDITION TYPE will trigger from the CONDITION RECORDS with 0 value and this can be in EDITABLE mode ( and maintain the value)because of the check box VALUE you flagged in V/06.
Please try this and revert back if you need further details
    thanks,

  • Price should not be visible to other user's in sales order..

    hi friends ...
    my client requirement :
price should not be visible to other user's in sales order level, it should be visible after invoice only ...
eg : gurgoan user should not be able to see the sales order price of hyderabad user raised sales order ... but gurgoan user should able to raise the sales order for his customer ..
plz reply me in detail with configuration steps  .... thanks in advance ....

    Hi
If you are talking about pricing condition control through authorizations in sales transaction VA01, VA02 etc. - please check SAP Note 105621: Suppressing display of Sales Order Conditions.I would suggest that you search for this auth object and note and work accordingly) and it shall enable you to restrict display to specific conditon type (for example VPRS: cost).
For this you need to know the pricing procedure and step number relevant to your sales order. Please seek guidance from functional consultant on it.
Secondly as you want to restrict access on geography you have to use org level controls as applicable along with the above auth object.
    Hope this helps

  • Visibility of purchase order costs in sales order

We are a make-to-order sales and manufacturing organisation. Most of our products are manufactured in-house but some are procured externally. Where we manufacture products in-house we are able to see the costs in the EK02 condition type within the sales order. However, where we procure the product externally this is not the case. What is the best solution for making these costs visible as we unable to measure margin without them?

    Peter,
As per my view   If you use EK01 condition type, the result of unit costing is issued to the first position on the conditions screen for the item. The value can be used as a basis for price determination.
and EK02 is only for  statistical purpose
The parts which you are procuring externally's Cost will come from MM side.
    Thanks,
    Raja

    Tanks and Best Regards,
    Rajeswari

    Hi Michael ,
Thank you very much for your answer. I just require one more confirmation from you.
Could you please confirm If we post a returns document in CRM system directly the "ZPRS or VPRS - Cost" Condition type will not appear in the return document condition types.
Untill and unless it is a billing document in CRM system the "cost" condtion wont appear rt?
    Could you please confirm it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • ERP Sales Orders Types are not visible in CRM WebUI ! ! ! !

    Hi All
I am working on CRM 7.0 IDES, I am trying to create an ERP sales order but when I chose create ERP sales order a popup menu with no document types so I am not able to chose the Sales order document type, the CRM and ERP are integrated and the ERP sales Profile is maintained and assigned is there more settings should be done to make them visible?
    Regards
    Jacopo Francoise

    Hi Jacopo Francoise,
Check for the customization in Tr. SPRO path IMG-> CRM->Transactions->Settings for ERP Transactions maintained via CRM.
You should define the ERP sales order profile with your ECC system RFC details. Also read the documents available there.
    Hope this will help.
    Thanks,
    Vikash.

  • Changes to financial document are only visible after reassign the financial document to sales order

    Hello experts,
Whenever I am changing a financial document ( say validity date) in
vx12n, I want the same to get reflected in the sales documents to which
the financial document is already attached.
Currently to make the change visible I have to reassign the financial
    document in the sales document.
Reassign is not possible in the cases where part delivery already been
happened (LC fields got grayed out ).
We dont want to run sensitive T CODES like VKM3 or VKM4 due to audit
    related issues .
Is there any way so that any change in financial document is
automatically captured in the related sales document.
    Regards
    Avik

    Hi  Minhaj ,
Thanks for your reply . But the same is happening @IDES also. As per as my business scenario , in the time of creating the financial document by VX11N , user does not know when the sales order is going to be delivered. By the time of delivery , validity date or some other FD fields get changed in VX12N to accommodate the requirements . When they are trying to deliver the same from the sales order , credit check is throwing  error for the same fields which are already changed . Now after reassign the same , credit check is allowing to deliver . But in worst possible scenarios ,it may happens  validity date of the FD get expired when part delivery is already completed .  Thus make the FD fields of sales document non-modifiable . You cant reassign the same any more.
As per as your reply relating to Basis , please share some specific information so that I can communicate them effectively .
    Regards
    Avik
