Today() in the report

I want to report SR modified in last 7 days from tody's date. I tried put datemodified > Today() - 7, but it giving me an error. Any idea how I can make this work?

You can use in between filter with the SQL condition as
NOW()
TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, -7, NOW())

Got my iphone 4s today but the camera has a bug that i cant find reported. When i take a picture or filming the camera screen shows the buttons in landscape mode( the buttons are at the bottom in landscapemode instead of the bottom end of the phone) and the object i am filming shows up 90 degrees rotated. If i hold the phone in landscapemode the object moves 90degrees rotated too. In i pan the phone the image on the screen goes up and down insted. Very weird.
But when i check the video there is nothing wrong with the movie. Please help....

Contact Apple and inform them you have AppleCare +. If your phone is working correctly they may or may not replace it, only they can anwer that question.

Stop the report from firing until the user clicks the Go button?

Hi All,
Is there a way to stop the report from firing until the user clicks the Go button? At the moment it is populating when I open the dashboard page. I found something online that said i could use the Page Options>Save Current Settings> For Others.. but even though i am signed in as an administrator i only see a For Me.. option. Also, even after setting this option i would like to be able to hit the 'Go' button to run the report and have it uncollapse the section. Is this possible?

In my report i am trying to constrain the report to todays data only. However the only prompt i have is for another column. If i place a filter on the date column with Year=0000 it will not change with the prompt selection and so will never return any results. Is there any other way?
It seems wasteful to fire a request to the database onload of the page. Is there an option to only fire a request what the prompts are entered? I will be using a stored proc which needs parameters to run the request so it would be good to be able to set the report to not run until it has parameters entered

I can see now that updatet clients can not report their status anymore :(

I would start by verifying that the /ReportingWebService resource is properly configured in IIS.
Correct configurations can be found in the WSUS Technical Reference Guide: IIS
Settings for WSUS 3.0 SP2 Web Services.
Also,Under ReportingWebService
Made sure all were set to disabled except for Anonymous Authentication
Anonymous Authentication Enabled
ASP .NET Impersonation Disabled
Basic Authentication Disabled
Forms Authentication Disabled
Windows Authentication Disabled

How to call a report thru an RFC w/o displaying the Report UI

I have to pass the parameter to a report thru an RFC.
I am using submit command , but I do not want SAP gui to appear..
This is the report UI code .
PARAMETERS : werks LIKE mseg-werks OBLIGATORY.
SELECT-OPTIONS : budat FOR mkpf-budat OBLIGATORY,
 material FOR mseg-matnr.
I have to pass the value to the report from my RFC by assiging values to these control in my RFC . and also I do not want display the SAP GUI for the Screen.
I have used this code to achive this.
SUBMIT ZRPT_MM_045 EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN
 USING SELECTION-SET 'ZZZ'.
where 'ZZZ' is my variant .
the problem here is I can not change the values dynamically in my RFC. All the values in 'zzz' variant are predefined.
HOw to achive this ...

If you want to pass parameters dynamically without using a static variant, you can do the following.
In this example, P_1, P_2, P_3, S_1, S_2, S_3 are the names of the parameters/select-options in the submitted program. PA_1, PA_2, PA_3, SO_1, SO_2, SO_3 are fields in your RFC that can be built dynamically.
* Lets say that S_1 in the submitted program is a date
* range. We want to pass a seven day range starting
* today.
ranges: SO_1 for sy-datum.
SO_1-sign = 'I'.
sO_1-option = 'BT'.
SO_1-low = sy-datum.
SO_1-high = sy-datum + 7.
append SO_1.
SUBMIT ZRPT_MM_045 EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
 WITH P_1 = PA_1
 with p_2 = PA_2
 with p_3 = pa_3
 with s_1 in so_1
 with s_2 in so_2
 with s_3 in so_3
 AND RETURN.

There is some time limit set for the request to run when you run a program in the foreground or in the background. If the time limit exceeds this will occur, run the program again then this might not happen.
This might be related to table space issue, or roll area or memory. Show the short dump (ST22) to your Basis person and tell me to adjust/increase the respective tablespace .

Getting error while exporting the report

I am facing error while exporting the report. Getting below error.
"No data can be exported because there are no rows.Operation failed."
how come this error is coming even though my report contains data.

I am having the same problem. I found this article in which the user was exporting 100,000 plus records and had the same issue exporting (Discoverer workbook exported to excel error - No dta can be exported and they were able to fix it by adjusting two memory settings in their pref.txt file. However, in my report there are only 1,100 records with eleven columns being returned. I export much larger reports on a daily basis.
Originally, the report was returning records and when I would go to retrieve all records it would tell me that all the rows could not be returned and the data may be incomplete. After scrubbing my SQL I no longer get that message, but the report still will not export and I get the same error as you.
I have not tried the pref.txt settings fix but may try it today to see if that is a workaround. I will then have to evaluate whether it is a good fix or just a band-aid.

Based on the error message "An error occurred within the report server database. This may be due to a connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database." it seems the issue is caused by the Report Server catalog databases are
corrupted.
To fix this issue, I suggest that you use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to recreate the Report Server catalog databases. In addition, please make sure report server instance can connect to the report server database. For more details about Configure
a Report Server Database Connection (SSRS Configuration Manager), please see the following document:

Besides, if the issue is caused by the connection to the SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server catalog database is timeout. Please refer to the following thread:

Specifications for the report regarding the invoiced quantity.

Hi all SAP gurus,
I want to give specifications to the abaper regarding the layout of a report. The details are sales order, materials in it, order quantity, invoiced qty, balance qty and stock against the balance qty.
I want to know the table & field name where the qty is getting updated. Suppose order qty is 20, today i invoice 5 qty. The balance is 15. When i run the report, in the invoiced qty column the system should show 5. Tomorrow i invoice 10 qty, the balance will be 5. When i run the report again, in the invoiced qty column, the system should show 15.
Where is the data stored regarding the updated qty which is already invoiced.
The scenario is MTS. Is it possible to show the exact available qty in the balance qty. column some material may be confirmed for other sales order also.

Need to understand couple of more things before i tell you the fields as are you considering report Based ON invoice or delivery as you are saying that order quantity is 20 and invoice is 5 , ( do you mean to say delivered quantity is 5)
secondly since this report is for stock are you taking into the account of all the pending orders not yet delivered , partially deliverd.
Hope you understand this as this report could change every minute the order is delivered
And as per my knowledge there is no such table which can give you that information , you need to write a logic which will consider the open orders, partially delivery , and stuff into .....hope i am in Sync with what you are asking

Displaying No. of Days in the report???

Hi All,
I have to display the number of the day the report is executed on. I thought that I can do it using the Text Variable and Offsets in it to display the day from the input date. But the problem is, the customer wants to display the number of working days so far and not the day of the input date i.e if we run the report today i.e 09.11.2006 the the number of the day would be 7(taking off saturday and sunday).
Has anyone got any solution to this?

Hi,
you can use the factory calendar to calculate only working days. That wil let you count only the working days and not Saturday, Sunday or holidays.

I want to compared between two dates. One date is dynamic and other one is fixed.

Date2 = 12/31/9999
How do i fix the date2 in the report.

you can use default values in the properties of the date variable that will allow it to be the data yo uwant it to be
the 2nd date which is current use sap provided variable current data on it as restrickted value( Not default).

CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 - Could not generate the report

Hello,
I am running CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 since 6 months and I wanted to generate today a report about the interface utilization on 2 Cisco switches (Catalyst 3750G). The corresponding job is created, it runs and then i get "succeeded with info" in the "Run Status" column. When I want to click then on the "View Report" link, I get the following error: "Could not generate the report. Either data is not available for the specified duration or the report job failed."
I tried the same procedure with 2 other switches but I have got the same result.
Does anybody has an idea of how I can fix this issue?

Part A:
I've done some restating of the question, and distributed the calculations among several fields, not all of which need to be included on the visible layout. Other than formatting the Date fields and moving the 'Completed Date' field and its label, I've left this in the default "Layout 1" produced by AppleWorks.
Field List:
Priority: Popup menu with six items: 00, J, D, 1, 2, 3 Defaults to 00
TL (time limit in months): Calculation: CHOOSE('Priority',0,1,3,4,6,12)
Received: Date. Option: Automatically insert today's date (ie. Date Record created) (may be edited)
Target Date: Calculation:
DATE(YEAR('Received')+INT(MONTH('Received')+'TL')/12,MOD(MONTH('Received')+'TL', 12),DAY('Received'))
Remaining (Days): Calculation: INT('Target Date'+1-NOW()) (see revision below)
Completed: Checkbox. Set default value to Unchecked.
Completed Date: Date: Entered manually
OnTarget: Calculation: IF('Completed',IF('Completed Date'<'Target Date',"On Target","Over"),IF(INT(NOW())>'Target Date',"Over","On Target"))
The On Target field shows the current status of the case while still open, and the state on the closing date when it was closed.
Having done that, I was unhappy with the Remaining field continuing to calculate an ever larger negative number after the case had been closed. Hence this revision below:
Remaining: Calculation: IF('Completed','Target Date'-'Completed Date',INT('Target Date'+1-NOW()))
Shows the number of days remaining while the case is open, the days remaining at completion if the case has been marked Completed and the completion date entered.
Rsults (and some further formatting of the Layout) below.
Part B:
You will need Subsummary parts when sorted on Completed and on On Target. Fields can appear on a Layout only once, so each subsummary part will need a separate Summary type field for each field to be summarized.

I woke up today around 9:30 am UK Time, checked my emails on my phone and then started playing "Talking Ginger" kids game because of one of the offers, around 10:00 I noticed an email alert on top of my iphone screen about itunes receipt.
When I opened this, it was about "Kids Song Collection" purchase reciept for £1:49.
I was shocked because first of all my 3 years old daughter is sleeping, secondly I have security settings configured in iphone with a complex password to purchase and she does not know that password and thirdly I am using the phone and I know I didn't even open App Store or that app so how come this has happened. I did a search on google about how to report and tried to follow the process through itunes but every time I click on "report a problem in itunes" this opens a new apple page in firefox "http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/"
Whilst further browsing Purchase History in itunes I also noticed another purchase from yesterday about "FireWorks Arcade" and this was unbelieveable because I didn't even receive any receipt yesterday about that purchase and again I am the only one who can make purchases due to the complex password known only to myself.
I am not sure what is going on here, but clearly as per today's incident it seems that apple is loosing their control.
Please advise what can be done here.
