Hi Experts,
I am uploading flat file to DSO...... in transformations while activating I am getting the following error.
"@5C\QError@ Rule (target: 0FISCYEAR, group: 01 Standard Group): Syntax error in routine"
Source CALMONTH and Target Fiiscal year period.
can anybody tell me the reason ...pls help me out regarding the same.

Error in Tranform Activity While Writing From File to DB Table

Hi All,
I m trying to read the contents of a csv file and writing it to the db table.
When I am trying to map the file content to the db table using tranform activity, I am getting error as "failed to save XSL Map. Make sure XSL Map is valid".
Any ideas on how to over come this issue.

Error validating tranformation file

Hello all, I am trying to load a Data Package in BPC.
Created a flat file and tranformation file.
When validate the tranformation file I am getting the following error:
Validate has successfully completed
ValidateRecords = YES
Task name CONVERT:
No 1 Round:
Command CATEGORY does not start with *
Error: Validate with data file failed
I don't have a logic activated. I don't understand the error, whare I set the command Category?? this is a domension name instead a command.
Any Idea what am I doing wrong??

Error in tranformation

Hi all,
R/3 side
I have created a generic extractor using functionmodule.
(For the FM a structure was created in Se11 )
The fields are VBELN ERDAT NETWR POSNR MATNR WAERK.
Generic extractor sucessfully created,Checked in RSA3 by giving selection criteria for VBELN and i can see data over there.
BI side.
Replicated and created a infopackage and loaded the data.Now i have the same number of data which was seen in RSA3 also in PSA.
The problem arises when i create a infocube and do the transformation.
i am not able to create a transformation beacause of the netwr field.It gives me a error.I created my own infoobjects for the source fields with respect to the characteristics of the source fields.
error: Rule 5 (target: IN_NETWR): Source parameter 0006 is not being used.
Can some one tell me how to proceed further.

I create VBELN ERDAT NETWR POSNR MATNR WAERK infoobjects with the characteristics as source.
But the problem is when i create NETWR and WAERK infoobjects(KF).I cant assign the actual length of those fields in the source system.
After creating the infoobjects i have added all these fields in the infocube.
And when i do the transformation i get this problem.

I solved my issue. It could be that the actual error is not showing up, in that case implement SAP note 1546842, and re-run the XPRAS_UPG phase. In most of the cases, you can get the error message: "sourcesystem XYZ does not exist". In that case, you should delete the orphaned systems with the procedure detailed in note 1564964.

Error in using S/A Bridge in ccBPM

I am trying a BPM using S/A bridge in ccBPM.
The receive step(start process) is using a synchronous interface which opens the S/A bridge.
The scenario is Http<->BPM, where the response must go back from BPM.
But when tested it showing the following error

Error while creating transformation from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus,
When i am creating tranformation from DSO to InfoCube getting an error, " The unit/currency 'Source Currency 0CURRENCY ' with the value 'space' is assigned to the key figure 'Source Key Fig. ZAMT_PLC ' with the value
'8.50 ' "
ZAMT_PLC is created with 0CURRENCY.
On checking we found that there is no value stored for Currency field in table level itself. Now in this case how do we avoid this error.
I want to know why is this we need to have value for 0Currency field???

Hello Anup,
If you load a key figure which has a unit assigned to it,
then for every records where the key figure has a valid value
(value 0) the corresponding unit has to be delivered as well.
Additionally please check note 1366474 regarding the RSTRAN 312
error message:
"The corrections contained in Note 1165168 are incomplete.
Depending on the sequence during loading, the system may not issue error
message RSTRAN 312 even though data regarding the assigned unit or
currency "space" is incorrect."
This means actually, that the system should have issued the RSTRAN312
error message even before the upgrade, but for some reason this
check found no issues in some constellations. This means furthermore
that your system behaved incorrectly in the past, that this
error message was not triggered if you loaded key figures without
any unit.
I'm sorry to tell you, but the system behaves and works as designed
as it should be even before the correction from note 1366474.
Please change your transformations for key figures which
have a unit assigned, that the unit field is filled correctly.
with the corresponding units, otherwise the system will abort
the processing of the data with the above mentioned error
message.

Error while loading the data in DSO (Bi 7.0)

Hi Friends,
I am working on BI 7.0 , I had run a DTP to load the data in DSO from another DSO.but there was some error in tranformation because of which DTP request didnt terminate with either green or red . then I fixed the bug in TRX and rerun the request .Now there are two requests. Now i deliberately changed the QM Light of the earlier request to Red so that I could run another request. The other DTP success fully loaded the data in Activation Que of DSO . But when I tried to Activate the second request I got a message that request can not be activated because earlier request is yet to be activated.
now I tried to delete the earlier request .Neither its getting deleted nor am I able to change the QM Light to Green .
What should I do to activate the Successful request to load the data in DSO.

I load data from DSO 1 to DSO2....i run the DTP and look at the monitor after its green when i go to manage and activate i am seeing two requests instead of 1...i am not sure why...Can you guys tell me if there is any setting that needs to be taken care of.

Facing error while activating the transformation
Error is
: No source parameter is used.
No target field is assigned.
We are getting the data from the flat file, i had tried assiging the fields in the transformation.
but those are the amount fileds. source is comming as 17 in length but in bi it is taking 9 as length.
I had made infoobject assignment in the tranformation but it is showing the same error.

In the datasource,fields tab please check if the format field in set to external.
Try creating the transformation again after assigning the source field.

Error while activating 2LIS_13_VDITM

I have activated the 3.x datasource for 2LIS_13_VDITM from T Code RSDS , activated the infosource etc from the business content. It is fine till here.Now when i try to migrate the data source to 7 flow, it is throwing an error " Internal error occured during generation of Transformation".
The screen is getting exited at this point without allowing me to have a look at the transfornations. I have checke if this because of 0CRM_product not being mapped properly and it has nothing to do with it. Could you please suggest the solution for this error,

Before creating the tranformations why dont you migrate the Datasource?
My case also i have these kind of errors in SD.
You just Migrate the exisitng datasource from bw3.5 to BI7.0 first.
Then install the cube from businees content,
Now create the tranformation for the same,,,,
Later you need to write the routines as well....
It will work

Error while transporting transformations and datasource Urgent need Help

I have been working on this problem for a few days now. I created an ODS object, transformations, DTP and I am using a R/3 datasource for extraction. The ODS populates fine in the Dev box, the tranformations and the datasource are fine only in the Dev box. I tried to tranport the objects to the QA box from the Dev Box. Only the ODS transports properly. The transformations are not transported at all. Here is the error I get:
Start of the after-import method RS_TRFN_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) TRFN (Activation Mode)
No rule exists
Rule 1 of transformation   () is not valid and is being deleted
Rule 2 of transformation   () is not valid and is being deleted

So far we have been using only 3.5 objects. This is the first 7.0 (end to End) transport.

I just followed the exact sequence that you mentioned. I transported the
DataSource first....then ODS(write optimized)....then transformations....then Dtp & infopackage.
data source ... no errors
2) ODS ..... no errors
3) Transformations .... Error....same as mentioned in my earlier post....
4) DTP and Infopackage ....Error similar to whats mentioned ...and it says that transformation does not exist.
Could it be an issue with Source System Translation ..... I dont know much about it .....could you please tell me what it could be and how to resolve it.   I am thinking in these lines because the source system in QA3 exists in the Data Souces Folder and it has translated properly to QA3Client300. But under the Infoproviders folder (in Q03)...under my DSO the data source still shows Dev3Client 200(client not changed). If this is the issue do you think I need to talk to Basis support for asking them to modify the transport(internally)......can it be done....

Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 Update failure- "Error Applying Transforms, verify that the specified...

I have ignored this issue for long enough. I have Adobe CS4, with Acrobat Pro version 9.3.4. Windows 7. Acrobat updater pops up on my machine, and when I execute the update requested, the updater gives me the update failure message, with code 1604, "error applying transforms."
I have seen solutions posted for this tranforms message, but it was a problem with Acrobat 8. I have seen no solutions as of yet for Acrobat 9, so I thought I would post.
I also tried opening Acrobat 9 Pro, and under the help tab, I initiated "repair". I get the same transform error message as above. Any advice anyone? Should I just uninstall Acrobat 9 Pro and reinstall using my CS4 disk?

If you have original CD with Acrobat installation, copy all files with extension .mst from this CD to the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Setup Files\[ProductCode] if this is 64bit system
or
C:\Program Files\Acrobat 9.0\Setup Files\[ProductCode] if this is 32bit system
where [ProductCode] is a unique value which identifies your language version of Acrobat 9 Pro.
If this is EFG version, it should be {AC76BA86-1033-F400-7760-000000000004}
If location does not exist, create it.
2. If you do not have original CD and cannot find .mst files, provide the exact Product name including language and I will provide further instructions.

Is the request loaded without errors to the ODS? Check the mapping for the field in the update rules, if you are doing it in 3.x or check the Tranformations.

Error from loading Hierarchy data from BW

I am following the BPC NW online help to load the costcenter master data from BW, The members were successfully loaded, but
when I tried to load the hierarchy, I received the following message"

I am pretty sure that all the dimension members were loaded in this herarchy. Since the hierarchy node I am trying to load only include 2 level, I have only 49 base member and 1 node which I can see from the BPC admin after master data,following is the.tranformation and conversion file:

BPM Error in Transformation Step: Interface Mapping not found

Hi,
Can you help me on this? I have a tranformation step in my BPM that combines a request and response message of a previous Send step to create a Source message for the next Send step. However, on my transformation step, I got the mapping error in workflow log: Interface mapping http://gl.euhreka.com/learning/skillsoft/catalogSy.YGLXI_OM_MergeRequestAndHandleResponseAB_To_PollFo (SWCV=DF8549309ECE11DFB58DF3570A341E0F) not found
Do you have any idea about this error? My mapping program is working fine. I also checked if the container elements assigned to the transformation steps are correct.
Can you suggest of other way on how can I achieve on merging 2 messages (request and response) and set it to the Request for another send step?

Hello,
I already solved the problem. The namespace and Operation mapping name is too long that's why it cannot be located at runtime.
After the rename, another error appeared.
"Incorrect XML format after mapping: Root-Tag expected instead of Messages"
There are no useful information on the trace:
