Triggering of Labour Hrs automatically in PO - No manual confirmation

Hi,
We want to capture the no of labours and their normal working hrs and overtime hrs for each production order. Is their any method or process so that this cost can be directly captured during confirmation of production order operation wise???
Manually entering the labour man hrs during confirmation can lead to incorrect data. Any one pl help to do this automatically through system.

Hi Dear Peter...
I think that you can get this result, using the values that you put into the Work Center (formulas) when these formulas work with the standar times in your routing, I mean , if you have a productionr order for 100 lbs & the operation in the routing have i.e. 10 lbs/10 hr, then at the time that you trigger the confirmation at head level for the orden , automatically posted 100 hr by the production order.
Be carefull about the standar times in to you routing, 'cause they will be interacting with you formula into your work center.

Hi friends,
I have a scenario which needs triggering a maintenance notification automatically. I have 3 measuring points for a equipment. I take measurement readings for these 3 measuring points using 3 measurement docs( say the measurement readings be x, y and z).I need to trigger a notification when (x+y-z)/z >2%. This is very much similar to condition based maintenance where maint. notifications are triggered when the upper or lower limits of the measuring point are reached . But here the problem is
I have 3 measuring points for the equipment and one by one I am creating the measurement docs for the measuring point. The system should calculate using the formula as soon as the last measurement doc is saved and based on the value. ie if >2% trigger a maintenance notification .(The challenge is 3 measurement docs are involved and how to link these 3 measurement docs and calculate value using the above formula).
The client will be taking readings every day twice for the 3 measuring points based on which he will decide if the machine needs to be recalibrated. Hope the scenario is clear.

Can you share more details.What are these measurement points & their Units.
Based on your inputs it seems you are trying to link all the measurement points with some formulas which is not an out of the box functionality of standard SAP , the solution could be to develop a customized program
You might have to store all the readings with ref to technical object in a customized table & write the relevant formula in the program.

2)It calls CTP where SAP_PP_019 is run and coresponding planning takes place and pegging relation ship are generated in product view
3)when I Trigger Gatp to same sales order .why the pegging losses as it is fixed pegging so it should not break while converting to production order ?????
please correct if am wrong in any of 3 steps

I will make two small comments. In my CTP experience, I have never seen anyone use the SAP_PP_019 heuristic as a CTP heuristic. 019 is a pegging heuristic, and typically CTP uses some type of material planning heuristic (e.g. create supply elements). I am not saying that your heuristic is wrong, I am only saying that I have never seen it used in such a way.
I have further never seen an implementation for CTP where there were more than 2 different planning procedures in use.
You did not ask for it, but let me give you a small piece of advice. CTP and multilevel planning are not simple or trivial subjects. From your responses about planning procedures, I will draw the conclusion that your experience in this area is...somewhat limited.
Yes, you can go to SCN and ask for advice, and we will offer whatever help we can. However, the detailed troubleshooting techniques required to solve such a problem are not really suited to SCN postings. There are already 30 items in this post, and the end does not seem to be in sight.
If I were in the position of being responsible for solving this problem, and I had little experience to bring to bear, and there was no documentation which described the original solution in detail, then I would request local expert assistance to help me in this matter. If such assistance were not to be available, I would further request my management to engage an external resource to assist; one who has extensive experience in customized CTP solutions. A competent CTP expert can probably zero in on the problem in a few days.
Using only yourself and SCN as a resource, you may find a solution to your problem tomorrow, or you may not find it after months of searching. In most businesses I have worked with, this level of uncertainty would be considered unacceptable.

How do i change over from automatically adding songs to manually adding

Using 2 ipods on the computer and don't want all of the other person's songs. How can i change from automatically adding songs to manually managing the songs that go on to the ipod. If i plug it in, i'm afraid that i will mess up all my current songs on there. Please help.

Here are the instructions as they are written in the IPod PDF manual:
In iTunes, select iPod nano in the source list and click the Summary tab.
2 In the Options section, select “Manually manage music and video.”
3 Click Apply.
Note: When you manage songs and video yourself, you must always eject iPod nano
from iTunes before you disconnect it.
To add a song, video, or other item to iPod nano:
1 Click Music or another Library item in the iTunes source list.
2 Drag a song or other item to the iPod nano icon in the source list

Automatic Material Issue on Activity Confirmation

Dear All,
I am trying to setup the system so that on internal activity confirmation material assigned to the activity is automatically Issued to the WBS.
Issue:
BS, but when i confirm the activity system does not issue the material automatically when stock is available as unrestricted stock in the correspondign WBS.
When there is stock available in the Storage location mentioned in CJ20N for the material automatic GI happens on activity confirmation.
Can you please let me know why is system not issuing the material available as unrestricted stock on the corresponding WBS??

Fine i can use CN25 for confirmation.
Requirement is that i want to track stock on WBS level, and then issue it to Network/Activity from WBS stock? is this not possible via activity confirmation??
Is it that if i want to automatically post GI on activity confirmation, it is not possible from Project/WBS stock?

Triggering a workflow when the payment proposal F110 is confirmed/finished.

Hi All,
Please kindly give me your good advices that how can I start to create a workflow for payment proposal F100. The requirement is that after the payment proposal has been confirmed and completed. It needs to be triggered and automatically send out an email notice for the those vendors, the vendor email address is collected from vendor master record FK03.
I guess it can use REGUH-XVORL, If "X" means that this is proposal record only. If " " means that it's not a proposal record, which should be a confirmed record yet.
Please kindly instruct me how to get this task done, since I am a fresher SAP and workflow.

I have exactly the same requirement. I need to trigger a workflow when the payment proposal is completed.
I've been searching for the answer on the internet. Several people have asked the same question, but I haven't seen any real answer to the question yet.
There is no standard SAP business object for payment proposal, there is one for payment request which uses F111. There is no standard workflow template, the one for payment release is only for releasing individual invoice. There are answers about restricting the authorisation, it helps, but it doesn't meet all requirements. We have people create payment proposals in UK for companies in Europe. We really need a workflow resolution. Seperating the authorisation will still require the person who created the proposal sending email to people in different countries to approve the payment.
Two technical problems that we are facing.
1. There is no existing business object. I've been told that we should should ABAP Class. And include the IF_WORKFLOW in the interface.
2. There is no event created when the payment proposal is completed. We are working on creating an event. I've been told to use SWE_EVENT_CREATE function module.
If you have more information about how this can be done, or if there is any easier way, please let me know. I will be very grateful.

Automatically update Equipment Hierarchy when confirming service order

When I confirm the service order, the old part needs to be replaced by the new part. The requirement is that this replacement is done automatically in the equipment hierarchy after confirming the service order. ie.Equipment should get automatically updated in the equipment hierarchy. How to configure this?

As you confrim the labour and maerial, the Equpment hierarchy will not get replaced by the new one. You need to go for an enhancement. Cehck with your ABAP consultant with a detailed requirement.

When you are manually refreshing the snapshot as scott/tiger, and your database link was defined with a 'connect to/identified by ' clause, your login credentials will be scott/tiger. When the refresh happens from the job queue, it does not use those credentials, It uses some default set. What you should probably do is:
1. create public database link Oracle using 'server1';
2. as scott/tiger, create database link Oracle connect to scott identified by tiger;
3. your automatic refresh should work now.

Automatic production order creation and confirmation

Dear all,
I am in a situation where i have to configure the SAP system in the following ways:
1. From the planned orders automatically production order should be created today for the next day production and the end user will re-declare the quantity if there are any changes in the production order.
2. If there are no re declarations to be done SAP should automatically release production order and save it.
3. After the goods are produced the confirmation of the order should happen automatically from the measuring points.
4. In the order confirmation, the storage location for goods issue should be automatically captured from the goods issue slip.
5.After the confirmation of the order the goods receipt should happen automatically.
Please suggest me whether these are possible in SAP or not. If yes please tell me the procedure.

actually my scenario is:

work centers involved = WC1, WC2.
HERE BOTH THE WORK CENTERS ARE IDENTICAL, INPUTS ARE SAME AND OUTPUT IS THE FINISHED GOOD "X" FOR BOTH THE WORK CENTERS.
I HAVE A ROUTING FOR THE FINISHED GOOD "X" WITH TWO GROUP COUNTERS AS (1)WC1 AND (2) WC2
When i create plan in md61 for 1 month and when i do mrp run in md02 it will create the planned orders and we can see the stock requirements in md04 and when we double click on the planned order we can convert them into production orders.
But my users requirement is, he want to run the mrp in md01 and after that automatically each day the production order should be created.
example with the above work centers and materials:-
i have done the mrp run for "x" for November and December months
i want to produce "x" of 200 kg on 30.11.2011.
so SAP should generate production order for WC1 AS 100KG AND WC2 AS 100KG on 29.11.2011 at 5 pm automatically and the user will release the order.
similar example:-
i have done the mrp run for "x" for November and December months
i want to produce "x" of 400 kg on 03.12.2011.
so SAP should generate production order FOR WC1 AS 200KG AND WC2 AS 200KG on 02.12.2011 at 5 pm automatically and the user will release the order.
Please suggest me how to do the configure settings for my users requirement.

I would like my music to sync automatically to my iPod, but I want to manually manage my films/video. I tried setting the Summary screen on my iPod to "Manually manage music and videos" and then ticking "Sync Music" on the Music tab, but when I tick "Sync Music" on the Music tab, it unticks "Manually manage music and videos" on the Summary tab. Also tried leaving "Manually manage music and videos" unticked, and also unticking "Sync Films", but then I am unable to drag and drop videos on to my iPod.

Apps in iTunes seem to want to do their own thing. Under "apps" and in the "apps" list, click "install" or "remove" next to the apps to do just that.

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't fully understand your sync/delete method for videos. I'm not sure I know of a way to work around this dilemma short of manually updating your iPod.
If you have to resort to manually managing your files, you could resort to the "playlist" update option:
Try creating playlist(s) and syncing only those playlists.
Select the iPod in iTunes. Click the Music tab.
Tick Sync music and Selected playlists.
Tick the playlists you want on the iPod.
Then just Add/Delete from those playlists and plug in the iPod.
When you add a video and delete it from your library things won't get erased this way.

Wifi connection is not automatically recognized until I manually select it. How do I correct this?

even that one is also corrupted and some other entries are showing as follows:

Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds...
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...
