Two Billing doc's in Export Sales

In Export sales,
We have to Create Two Invoices one with Sales Org Currency & another with Customer Currency ( Eg: Currency- USD)
I guess, this can be achieved through Output Determination by Maintainig Output Type - RD00 ( with Sales ORg Currency ) & ZRD0(With USD Currency)
Please COrrect me, if am wrong.

Dear Abhishek
On your comments
Sales org currency is for internal reporting purpose
my suggestion would be to define a logic in the output smartform such that whenever that output is selected, system should generate invoice with INR value considering the field KURRF (for exchange rate) from VBRK table so that this requirement can be met.

  • Copy Pricing Cond. from PO to Billing Doc. in 3rd Party Sales

    Background
For Third Party Processing, the standard SAP "Document Flow" is:
Sales Order -> Purchase Order -> Invoice Receipt -> Billing Document
    Question 1
We have this Third Party Model described above mplemented with my current customer.  Standard SAP Condition Type VPRS is in the SD Pricing Procedure and during Sales Order creation it is determined via Material Master.  However, after the Invoice Receipt is created against the PO, it appears that VPRS is redetermined in the Billing Document based off of the 'Cost' from a Condition Type in the PO.
My question is as follows:  How does it 'know' to do this???  I do not see any code or calculation type in the Pricing Procedure that tells it to pull it from the condition type in the Purchase Order.  Where is this code - or - where is this functionality derived from in Pricing Configuration???
    Question 2
This question is dependent on Question 1, but is it possible to pull other pricing values from the PO into a different Sales Order condition type(besides VPRS of course) using stricly Pricing Configuartion or do I have to code some sort of Calculation Type to do this?
    Thanks for any help here!
    Mike

    Hello Mike
    Question 1:
It knows it from config as you rightly guessed. Let me quote from SAP help documentation:
Documentation for VPRS says "For a third-party business transaction, the costs are determined from the purchase order:"
If Customizing has been configured appropriately, the system determines the cost for third-party order processing from the value of the vendor invoice plus proportional statistic conditions (for example, cash discounts or statistical freight) from the purchase order in Materials Management.
The quantity indicator in the billing documentu2019s document flow then controls where the cost comes from. Activate indicator F in the Billing quantity field (billing quantity equals goods receipt quantity minus quantity already billed).
This is in copy control. VTFA - Item cat settings

    Question 2:
I don't think it is  possible to pull other pricing values from the PO into a different Sales Order condition type using strictly Pricing Configuration. You will have to  code some sort of formula ( Alt. Cond. Base value/Alt. Condition Value)  to do this.
    Hope this helps.

  • Netvalue on billing doc not equal to Sales ord netvalue because of rounding

Because of Batch managed materials and pricing units greater then 1 we sometimes get the net value on the billing document rounding up by pennies.   The order has qty 48,000     X 3.35 per 10  = 16080 .  On the billing document because the delivery has several batches has the following
Item     QTY     price     extended     invoice item (rounded)
    101     2,055     0.335     688.425     688.43
    102     4,000     0.335     1340     1,340.00
    103     27,330     0.335     9155.55     9,155.55
    104     9,467     0.335     3171.445     3,171.45
    105     3,203     0.335     1073.005     1,073.01
    106     1,945     0.335     651.575     651.58
         48,000          16080     16080.02
So the order has a value of 16080 but the invoice has 16080.02.  The customer says they will not pay the invoice unless it matches the acknowledgement.   Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Hi Thanks for your reply but that still does not resolve the issue.  I think unless we can get rid of the batch split lines on the invoice and only have a total for the main item we will not resolve this issue.
Net value on the billing document is 16,080.02  Order value 16,080.00
    line items on billing document
    Item               Qty    Net Value
    10                    0         0.00
    11     6,857   2,297.10
    12     8,100  2,713.50
    13     4,200  1,407.00
    14     7,423  2,486.71
    15     5,463  1,830.11
    16     4,981  1,668.64
    17     3,874  1,297.79
    18     436      146.06

  • Error while releasing Billing doc to Accounting

    Hi all
I am gettin the following error while releasing a Billing doc to FI-
Reconciliation account 240001 or short key 00 is not permitted
The Billing doc pertains to Export sales and the billing Doc type is Export Invoice. However the Customer Recon A/c is defined as 240000 which is for Domestic Sales. A/c 240001 stands for Export Sales. I am wondering why it is asking for the Export Sales Recon a/c. Does this has something to do with Alternative Recon A/c? Should I set an Alternative Recon A/c and check this? If yes, then should it be defined in SD or FI?
If any1 has come across this prob, plzz help me.
    Regards

It is all Fi related, and should be defined by the Fi Consultant.
But by changing the sort key I think your error can be solved. But I don't exactly know your config settings to recommend any solution.

  • Sales order with multiple billing doc's

    HI Guys
My client has specific requirement related the freight charges .Freight charge is represented with a condition type in my pricing procedure. If a given sales order has multiple shipments (I.E deliveries) then this freight charge is getting calculated partially at item level and passing on to the   billing documents accordingly. Customers receive invoices with part of those charges. They will receive other parts with other shipments and invoices until sales order is completed
As per my clients business it would be more logical that Freight charges are invoiced on the first invoice. And not as parts in each billing doc
There are two things which are striking to my mind in terms of solution
    1.   Since it’s only to do with showing the freight charges on the output sent to the customer. Is there any option to display the complete freight charges on the 1st billing doc’s output type? And restrict to display in the remaining billing doc of a given sales order. Any idea how to achieve it this way
    2.   Can this be controlled with the help of copy controls between delivery and billing doc at an item category level .i hope there should be some standard routine in place if not what should be my logic in this routine that helps to accomplish this task
    3.   Create a routine and assign it to the condition type ZMIN…Not sure what logic should I built in here to get the above  requirement up and running
Please guide me a way forward on this……………..
    Thanks for your support.
    Will reward without fail …
    Mohit

    Hi Madhu,
The billing document cannot be deleted. It can either be cancelled or a credit memo created with reference to it. You can also check in the same VBFA table, if for a billing document any cancellation exists. If yes, then, the delivery cost becomes relevant. Else it does not.
However, there could be a timing issue. Say if there are 3 deliveries and 2 of them are taken for billing at the same time in different sessions. (I am not sure if SAP will allow this because of the locking of VBAK table but still a possibility). Then, when the routine goes back to VBFA with the Sales order number, it does not find any billing document. So there is a chance that the freight charges may appear on both deliveries in full. So, you may want to test a few scenarios like this to make sure the logic is good and accommodates all scenarios.
    Hope this helps.

    delivery allowed ; 2(two)
billing doc        ; 10 billing doc foe each  bencile

    magha

    Hi Lingam,
You can do it.This process shud be done manually
/change the billing relevence of the item category to K.
Create a order with 10 pencils.
In the delivery split the quantity ordered qty as 5 and do pgi for 5.
Again create delivery with the same order number and it will show the qty as 5. Do PGI.
Go to billing and click on selection tab. It will give a option to change the qty.
There u can change the qty.
    Gurus,
Any way of automating this process?
    Please suggest.

  • Billing doc cancelled

    Dear Friends,
We are facing a major issue which is as follows:
A bill doc was cancelled. The doc flow of the original billing doc shows:
Delivery (Archived)-> Sale Invoice (Completed)-> A/cing doc (Not Cleared)
The cancelled doc is not coming in the above doc flow. What can be the reason that cancelled doc is not coming in the doc flow?
On the other hand the doc flow of the Cancelled doc shows:
Delivery (Same as above) (Status Archived)->Cancel Inv (S1) Status- Missing export data. (Transaction is domestic). Here also the original bill doc is not coming in the doc flow of S1. However the original doc is coming in the Assignment field in the header of S1. Again what can be the reason? We also want to clear the A/cing doc of the original Billing document. How is this possible?
Is there any T.Code for displaying J1ID?
Plz hep to solve these issues.
    Thank you very much.

Go to VA03, key in the sale order reference and check the document flow.  Let me know whether you could see the original billing document that was cancelled.  If not, check in copy control whether you have ticked the box "Update document flow".
Is there any T.Code for displaying J1ID?
What do you mean by this ??  J1ID itself is a standard TCode.
    thanks

In the Masters Customer Enter Max Partial delivery as 2 and then in the copy control of the Delivery to Invice :
    VTFL
Assign the Invoice Spilt 001 (Data VBRK/VBRP )
Or you can ask you ABAPER to customize a Routine Such that :
    Loop : {

  • Pricing Procedure problem when creating order w/Ref to billing doc

    Hello all.
When I create a SO w/ SaType 'A' it picks the correct Pricing procedure. However if I were to create the same Order Type 'A' w/ reference to a billing doc it picks up the Pricing procedure of the billing doc and not the one assigned to it in PP determination.
Also this works correctly when I create SO w/ref to billing doc with order type 'B'. So I am kinda stumped as to why it would not work with the order type in the above example.

    Hi Robert,
    Check the copy control configuration:
Spro>Sales and Distribution>Sales-->Maintain Copy Control for Sales Documents
    In this, select
Copying Control: Billing Document to Sales Document
    on the pop-up.
In the next screen, select the appropriate source billing doc type to target Sales Order type that gives you problem.  Then in its details, select Item and then the item category that is being defaulted into your SO#, in its copy function, verify the Pricing Type.  It can be made to the same value as the one that works fine for you (the other document types config).

  • Currency Conversion for billing doc and after user exits in COPA

    Hello Friends,
Need your view on this issue:
    1. Company codes currency and Operating currency is different., Costing Based CO-PA.
    2. Value filed "Gross Sales" get posted via Billing doc. In case of correction billing or re-posting (after reversal of original one) of billing doc value
field "Gross sales" get posted based on exchange rate of original (very first) posted document because system is updating "Translation date"
in table BKPF from very first document posted and not taking current date as a translation date. SAP standard program is  reading "Translation date" from BKPF to chose exchange rate and valuating "Gross Sales" on that ex.rate.
    3. Some user exits in COPA valuation to populate some values for other value field (Example - Gross Sales value should populate in value field
"Sales ASP"). After valuation in exits, SAP standard program is re-valuating value fields value (program statement is : perform currency conversion for fields that were changed in exit ) and for this valuation system is taking posting date for exchange rate.
Due to above logic company code currency value is different in Gross Sales and Sales ASP.
Requirement is : Sales ASP value should be same as Gross Sales.
Can you please share your thought to find the solution.
    Thanks
    Ravi

Check if the currency key and the unit of measurement are filled in (these will be the reference fields specified in the field definition of the structure at the database level).

  • BAPI for billing doc. creation with ref to outbound delivery

    Hi,
I'm looking for BAPI to create pro forma invoice billing doc with red. to outbound delivery.
I have tried using BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEMULTIPLE entering the outbound delivery as ref. document and all other required data. Pro forma is create but pricing is not copied since the bapi considers the delivery number as external doc.
It seems that BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEMULTIPLE is designated to billing doc. with ref to sales orders
    Would appreciate any suggestions,
    Assaf

    Hi,
In Function Module initial screen, there is no input parameter. Directly choose execute.
system will give the create billing document screen enter delivery document number and execute.
Why are using BAPI  to create billing document with reference to delivery document.
you can create background job for billing through VF06.

  • Two different billing document types for 1 sales document type.

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement , wherein our client is having counter  sale.
He is using one sales doc type , and while creating a order , he is manually adding payment terms.
Requirement is , if the payment terms are cash, billing doc type created later on should be one , else during credit sales , billing document type should be different.
As per my understanding this is not possible.
Want to know if anyone has some different thought on this.
    Thanks in advance
    Nilesh.

    Dear Nilesh,
There two options you can look in to
    One option is
1.You can define different sales document types for cash and credit.
    2. You can define two different billing documents.
3.Do the copy control settings for each combination
    Cash sales order >Delivery>Cash invoice
    Credit sales order >Delivery>Credit invoice
    Second option is
    1. You can maintain single sales document for both the processes.
2.Define two different billing types then do the copy control settings for both billing types.
But in this option user need to select the billing type manually based on the process while creating billing document.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Condition records  wrongly populated in sales order instead of billing doc.

condition records are maintained billing wise to populate in the billing document for pricing condition where as while creating the sales order   itself i am getting the condition records populated in the sales order which is not correct as it needs to populated in the billing document only

yes after looking at  pricing analysis itself we have  concluded that these condition type has the key combination  billing document F2 and displays the condition record within the sales order itself, but this condition record with key combination billing doc. F2 should be populated in billing doc  only what is the reason behind this
