This indicates that MR PIM1 is unable to establish a network connection to your dialer. Make sure the MR PIM's are configuring with the correct hostnames or IP addresses for your dialers.

  • Fresh Install of UCCE 9.0 - Issue

Get error following  when starting the Configuration Manager on AW  on a fresh install of UCCE 9.0 :
Unable to intiailze real time feed for instance ICM1. Unable to proceed until realtime can be established.

    Okay lets start over....
If you dumped the clgr process from the logger, I'm sure you're going to run into a lot of errors. So in your case...
    cdlog icm1 la
    dumplog clgr /o
You can type in clgr.txt from the next command to open the dumplog. Can you post that log file? I'm sure it's littered with errors.
The next you should check is your Web setup. I had this exact issue back in September during an upgrade and my issue was due to the fact that I entered in the incorrect hostname for the Central Controller Connectivity. So lets step through this...
Log into Web Setup on the Rogger
Click on Instance Management and confirm that the Facility and Instance are correct, in addition to the Instance Number which in all likely hood is 0. This of course is assuming that you successfully went ran the domain manager tool.
Under Component Management, click on Routers
Deployment page: Fault Tolerance Mode: Duplexed
Router Connectivity page: Confirm that the hostname you are entering for the Private and Public interfaces do in fact exist as DNS records, or at the very least, exist as a entry in the local host file.
Enable PG page: Enter the number range for the PGs
Router Options page: Make sure Enable Database Routing box is checked
Under Component Management, Click on Loggers
Deployment page: Fault Tolerance Mode: Duplexed
Central Controller Connectivity: Be absolutely positive that you are entering in the hostnames for your Rogger that corresponds to your Private network. For instance, DallasRoggerAPrv. Again, these hostnames should have DNS records or at the very least be an entry within the local host file.
Additional Options page: Check the box for Enable Historical/Detail Data Replication
Log into your AW-HDS server and launch Web Setup
Click on Instance Management and confirm that the Facility and Instance are correct, in addition to the Instance Number which in all likely hood is 0. This of course is assuming that you successfully went ran the domain manager tool.
Under Component Managent, click Administration & Data Server
Deployment size page: I'm sure you'll want to select Small to Medium
Role page: Select what fits your business needs. I always seem to select the first option
Administration & Data Server Connectivity page: For Primary and Secondary Admin & Data Server, put in the same hostname for whatever local server you are on. For the Primary/Secondary Pair Name, this will come into affect when you setup your CUCM PGs and will be defined in PG Explorer.
Database and Options: Select what fits your business needs here.
Central Controller Connectivity page: This is the page where I made my mistake in September and entered in the wrong hostnames. So take it from me, be absolutely certain that you enter in the correct hostnames for Side A and Side B here. Also, enter in the domain name suffix for Central Controller Domain Name, this should have been defined in Domain Manager tool.
Cycle services and then try to Initialize the database on the AW-HDS again

  • UCCE 8.5(2) web setup tool issue - HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

    Folks,
I have installed UCCE 8.0(1a) along with 8.5(2) MR twice in a row. I dont receive any errors during my installation, the second time around I had all my prerequisites including OS patches, Visual Studio, SQL 2005 SP4 patching and everything written down from the first go around and was able to complete the install with zero errors.
But once I complete the install and click on the Web Setup Tool I get a
I am not sure what I am doing wrong, Apache is running, this is for my lab system and we just got our Production system installed a few months and I compared all my version with the Production system at work and they all look the same, only difference is that this is going to be a sprawler. But I havent even gotten to that part yet.
I have attached images of the specs my Lab Server , any help is greatly appreciated, I am stumped at this point ..
    Hardware Specs and OS
    Installed Programs

Folks, apologize for not following up on the responses, works gotten busy again. Anyways .. the requirement is described in the "Staging Guide for Cisco Unified ICM/Contact Center Enterprise & Hosted Release 8.x(y)" on Page 104.
It states " Do not install Internet Information Services unless the server will host WebView or UnifiedICM multichannel options."
One thing to note is that in Version 8.5 - Web View is no longer supported, which means - Do NOT Install IIS on your AW's HDS, DDS, Router or Logger or Rogger Servers since these use the Web Setup tool for installation and configuration.
I would say dont install IIS on any of your ICM servers period !
After some poking around and research I found out that Web Setup uses Apache Tomcat and the Web Setup does not like it when you have IIS running or installed on the same box.
I fixed mine in my lab with Fresh install of the OS (from scratch). For those who cannot afford a fresh install and have this issue on a Production Box, Uninstalling IIS does not seem to fix the problem. Prior to my Fresh Install I tried Uninstalling it and it did not work.
While I have not tried this trick out, I found out that having IIS and Apache creates some sort of conflict for port 80/ 443 on the server which results in these 40X errors that you see. Unfortunately Uninstalling IIS didnt seem to fix it in case. What I did find out is that there is some way of resolving the conflict and one way is to change the default port used by IIS (changing it from 80/443 to something else).
I have not tried this out, But I have heard that this might work. Also to note - based on my uninstall of IIS which did not fix the problem, changes are that Apache Tomcat may need some tweaking as well.
My guess is the default port used by IIS and Apache need to be worked on to resolve this issue on a production box. IF you can scarp the box and rebuild, then just dont install IIS and you should be fine.

  • Exchange 2010, UCC SSL, and the "new" CA/BROWSER Forum not issuing for .local

I don't know how many people have run into this yet, but the CA/BROSWER Forum, the "standards" authority for SSL issuing, has mandated that CA's can no longer issue a certificate using a FQDN "intranet" name for new or renewal SSL certificates effective
Nov 1, 2012.  i.e. the Microsoft standard of mydomain.local will no longer be accepted as a SAN on a UCC for Exchange 2010.  I've looked thru the KBs and Social forums, but haven't really found any guidance on how to solve this.  I'm presuming
that the certs will have to be split and the "external" domain name of server.mydomain.net will just become a single server SSL, and the internal name of server.mydomain.local will become a Self-Signed certificate.  With the increasing prevalence of OA
and ActiveSync devices, is there any baseline guidance yet on how to make this happen without completely fouling up production servers and killing access to the user community?

On the same topic, though likely different environment...
Against recommended deployment, I have a number of clients running all their services on one box.  Windows Server 2008, Active Directoy, DNS, Exchange 2010 ...and so on.  These servers all have .local addresses, which means of course that the SAN
certificates have .local addresses as one of the SANs.
I've read alot online about this issue, and am trying to find the most cost effective solution to switch numerous production servers running this configuration.
The best solution I've come up with so far is...
    1. Virtual AD with new external domain, 2. Migrate Exchange CAS to this domain, 3.  Reconfigure network through the box.
Obviously these steps will contain alot more details, but this is just the outline atm.  At best, I see me having to take a second box with me to each location to perform these steps, and I can't see it happening without disruption to the work flow
    of employees.
Thankfully, all of these businesses are relatively smal...under 25 employees.  Still, I'd like to find the smoothest transition solution possible.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • UCCE Translation routing and Label transfer issue

    Hi!
    I have two ICM scripts:
    1. Script1
    Translation Route to IVR
    IVR Script (ASR)
Label Redirect to DN (DN linked to Script2)
    2.Script2
    Translation Route to IVR
    IVR Script (DTMF)
When call is transferred from Script1 to Script2 I hear a long beep ( 5-7 seconds), and transfer completed only after this beep.
If I use Label redirect BEFORE Translation Route - everything is ok ( without beep).
I cannot use Requalify Call step because of different TR to ASR and DTMF IVRs.
Doues anybody knows how to remove this long beep ??

Sorry, I found the issue - someone put "play prompt long beep" in the second script ( it has about 1500 lines and in case of some conditions it plays this beep).

  • UCCE 7.2.7/CAD 7.2 SR1 Work Flow Action issue

    Greetings,
This is on UCCE 7.2.7 with CAD 7.2 SR1.
Today, I created Agent Management Work Flow Action in CAD (via Desktop Admin). I want all of my agents within a specific Work Flow Group to be logged out at 9pm on workdays.
I choose the event "Time of day", create a rule and an action. The action is "Agent State Control" with value "AgentLogout". I choose to use automated reason codes. After configuration I hit "apply" and, just to be sure, I also sync the Directory Services.
The action is triggered, but the agent still has to choose the reason code to logout. Does this sound familiar to any of you or am I missing someting?
    Regards

    Assign it in the script.
Let's say you have created the ECC variable "userCADLayout" and you have been into CAD Admin and set this as the field index 252.
And you have created a number of layouts (e.g. Sales, Service) with different enterprise variables, ANI, DNIS etc.
Let's say agent Fred is in both the Sales SG and the Service SG.
Simply set the ECC variable in the script once you have decided its a Sales call or a Service call to the matching string "Sales" or "Service".
So a "Sales" call arrives at Fred's desktop and the arrangement (layout) is appropriate; ditto Service.
Once you have done this one time, you will realize how easy it is. Of ocurse, DON'T MAKE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES. ;-)

  • UCCE Supervisor login issue

During CTI OS installation I have choosen Login By Agent ID. I have created a supervisor with Agent ID(Peripheral Number) 131001 and Supervisor Login as user with the same ID 131001. I can login with this ID. But can we use any name instead of 131001 for supervisor login? actually my requirement is for supervisor login, I need to use any active directory user(alphanumeric) which already created and then sync with the supervisor name from ICM configuration manager? is it possbilbe? or I need to re run CTIOS installation and need to check Login By Login Name? Any help will be appriciated.
    Thanks,
    Fakhrul

    Hey David,
Yup, I have no problems pinging the domain name from the AW server. My AW/HDS/DDS, PG's and Router Logger all running 9.0(2) and are part of the same domain (i.e. the corporate  domain). I have gone as far as checking to make sure that ICM has full read & write access into the ICM facilities OU where ICM is creating new supervisor AD accounts.
As mentioned earlier, I have also tried to associate existing AD accounts and that fails as well. I have also tried to validate that the new AD accounts created by ICM work and they do, I was able to use one of the accounts to log into a windows PC that belongs to the same domain and I was able to. This tells me that the Account created is fine.
My thoughts right now are that there is some problem with the authentication method (or) I still have a configuration issue that I have missed or havent figured out yet.

  • EIM/WIM integration issue with UCCE

I have configured the ICM AW as per the document of deployment of CIM 9, all the MRD and application instances and skillgroups are created  for each MRD and also added the agents in the member of the skillgroups, now I am running the integration wizard on EIM server everything goes fine till the agent  addition window appears which appears to be blank now I don't know what am I missing in it, may be its something in the pg explorer MRD which I have tried with everything but the agent are not showing up, anybody have any idea, why the agents are not showing up,,????
One more thing we have a generic pg for agent and CVP and an MR pg for dialer and one pim for CIM..any issue with it??

When you run Integration wizard do you get Agent PG? and for selected Agent PG do you have any Agent Configured ?
Check Your Application Path list and Application Path, check correct Agent PG is configured.
    once again walk through,
Cisco Unified Web and E-Mail Interaction Manager Deployment and Maintenance Guide and check all the configurations are in the place.
i think Generic PG is supported, and that how it is done in Package CCE where Generic PG and MR PG installed on same Machine.

  • Original Caller Id not appearing in case of call transfer [UCCE 7.0]

    Dear All,
Currently we have UCCE 7.0 Environment and we are facing an issue that when a call is transferred by an Agent A to another Agent B via different Call Flow, the Original Caller Id  of the customer is not getting displayed on Agent B Phone, rather it shows the Caller Id of the Agent A who has transferred the call. Following are the details of scenario.
    1. We have two different call flows of ICM scripts, lets Call it Call Flow A  and Call Flow B.
    2. A Call arrives to Call Flow A, goes into the SkillGroup Queue and Call is answered by Agent A and he can see the correct Callerd Id. When Agent A determines that the call is not related to his skills, so he transfers the Call to Call Flow B.
    3. The transferred Call in Call Flow B goes into the Skill Group Queue and is answered by Agent B but the Agent B can't see the original Caller Id of the customer, rather he is presented with the Caller Id of Agent A who transferred the Call.
Our contact center staff complains that the issue was not there before, so we tried to verify this through past Screen Recordings found that their claim is correct.
We tried to trouble shoot this by collecting wireshark logs, but as our call volume is too high so we couldn't figure out which party has changed the Caller Id. We tried to make a guess that may be at CVP end the Caller Id has been changed, so when we tried to filter the IP addresses of CVP Servers in wireshark logs as source and destinations, so we found no results.
I just want to know what would be the best way to troubleshoot this issue. And does anyone know what may cause this issue to trigger suddenly. We still have plans to capture the wireshark logs again during off peak hours, but still i thought i may get a good advise on this forum.
    Regards,
    Yasir

Hi Yasir - Route Pattern 2xxxx which is routed to CVP is specially created for transfer scenario ? or accidentally some one created this.
whatever the reason is Route pattern taking priority and transferring calls to CVP which is considering transfer leg as NEW CALL instead of PRE-ROUTE call so obviously phone Extn which is transferring the  calls will appear as ANI which we can verify the same from below logs since ICM losing the call control it cannot update initial call info here the same can be verified in PIM logs.
Since you already enabled N/W transferred in PIM and Script, Just delete the Route Pattern 2xxx which is pointing to CVP and make test calls and tranfer the same call to 20083 via CTI and let me know the result
You can also verify the TCD table in HDS DB for the call where Router call key will be same for initial and Transfer leg
deleting Route Pattern will resolve the issue, make some test call and observe the ANI for tranfer leg
If not collect the logs will verify the same, also pls update me TCD table for those failure calls

  • UCCE 8.5.3/8.5.4 call volume statistics not matching in interval tables

    hello,
We have just migrated a call center to UCCE 8.5.3 that runs roggers and ICM call flow scripts that contain very basic flows. In each flow there is basically a one-to-one ratio of call type elements to select skill group elements.
Generally you would expect the call volume (as our scripts are written) to have almost the same call volume in the call type interval table and the skill group interval table, with allowable differences because of RONAs, etc. But basically somewhat close.
In general this does work but after a reboot of the roggers (A and B sides) (logger down first, then router and reversed to start), the skill group interval data lags greatly from the call type interval data, meaning maybe 10% of the call type interval volume. We have learned that completely shutting down both A and B side and then briinging it back up in order from scratch seems to alleviate the problem (until the next restart). We cannot just leave the servers alone though due to company security patching policies.
Cisco TAC had recommended patching to UCCE 8.5.4 which we have recently done, but the probelm persists.
I was wondering if this data discrepancy has ever been seen by anyone else or if possibly some system config issue might be self-deating us? Rebooting the roggers leaves the phone system itself working just fine for the call centers, but the recording of statistics to the skill group interval table is greatly impacted with almost no recording of volume in relation to the call type interval (and for comparison, the call type skill group interval table as well).
We would generally not worry about it, but the workforce management vendor that takes its feed from UCCE only uses the skill group interval, which is basically reporting almost no volume in the mentioned scenarios.
If anyone can provide any information it would be most appreciated/
    Thanks.
    Greg

Thank you for the response. The time source check is a great idea. We ran into problems before when internal web service servers did not match the PGs (CTIOS service) and CTI provideed stats did not match.
We will continue to work through TAC, but I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this (as 8.5.4 sid not fix it) and if maybe it could have been something self-defeating in our system configuration or scripting. We did not immediately know this was happening until our 3rd party workforce management vendor made us aware.
    Thanks,
    Greg

  • Having an issue with vpn load balancing certificate on the vip

                       Hi all,
I am setting up vpn load balancing in a lab. I have two asa's running 8.6. I created a ucc cert from our internal CA  that has the vip as the CN in the cert and the two ASA's themselves as subject alternative names. I used open ssl to create the request. In each asa I am using encryption between the ASA's to encrypt the psk's. Since this is a lab and I do not have the DNS servers at my disposal I've added the hostnames and addresses of each ASA to the config in the ASA's. The problem I have is that when I connect to the vip I get a cert error saying the cert doesn't match the name on the site. See below:
"The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address."
I have a hostfile on my lab pc connected directly to the outside of the ASA that can resolve the name of the vip but when I browse to the vip I get the cert error. If I click proceed anyway the asa redirects me and the page opens without error on one of the two ASA's.
Does any one know what the CN of the cert should be for vpn load balancing. I thought the CN would be the vip but sometinhg is not right.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Issue resolved. Switched the order of the trustpoints on the outside and vpn load balance.

  • Issues with WebDav over SSL via Terminal Server when Accessing SharePoint 2013

    Hi All,
We have deployed a terminal server from which multiple users access and heavily use SharePoint 2013 (hosted on a separate server). The SharePoint site is published to the internet and is operating over an SSL certificate. Over the last few months we have
been encountering a randomly occurring issue where all the users become unable to use Open with Explorer or mapped drives to access the site. During this time they can still access the site through the browser OK and download files etc. This issue sometimes
reoccurs every few days, although at points it hasn't occurred for a couple of weeks before resurfacing.
    Current Terminal Server Config
    TS 2008 R2 Enterprise
Site added to Trusted Sites. (have checked during broken time and still recognized as trusted)
Using IE 11, site added as compatibility view
    Registries updated as below
    reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters /v AuthForwardServerList /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d "*.clientsite.com"
    reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters /v BasicAuthLevel /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\Internet /v BasicAuthLevel /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
registry added for tabprocgrowth added to 2
    My test result are below:
Restarting the SharePoint server or the terminal server will resolve the behaviour
    until the issue occurs again.
Users on the terminal server can still open the
    ttps://clientsite2.harrierhc.com
URL (this url is bound to the same UCC cert) with open with explorer during this time.
While users are unable to access the ttps://clientsite.harrierhc.com
URL, if they access the same site from WebDAV with a separate binding (e.g. ttp://clientsite the behaviour works fine.
All other users not on the terminal server can still use the open with explorer behaviour during this time.
IIS reset on the SP Server & restarting the web client service on the terminal server have no impact
Reimporting the IIS certs have no impact
There are numerous errors in both server’s event logs but none at the time of the issue instigation.
Clearing the IE cached certificates has no impact
Going to IE properties for the site and clicking the ‘Install Certificate’ has no impact
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. If you need any more info let me know. (sorry for the ttps:// links cant be posted until my account is verified?
    Thanks again

  • UCCE 7.5 - CAD 7.5.1 Agent can not login

    Hi everybody,
    We're using CAD 7.5.1 for UCCE 7.5.
Currently an agent complait that she can not log in to the CAD due to the error of delay time out. I did a test with her account and here is what I found
    - CAD got stucked in the "connect to CTIOS server" step then timeout.
    - Her IP Phone is the only one that has this problem. Tested with another IP Phone and they work. Her SEP is well associated with the PG user though.
    - Randomly, CAD works. Upon reopening the CAD and trying to reconnect, it stucked again.
I include here the CAD log, hope that helps.

I suppose we have a IP Phone defect since it's the only one that had the problem.
Someone experience the same thing before? Any comment is welcome.
    Thanks,

    @Geoff:
Thank you for all the good sugesstions, however unfortunately none of them is possible to me
I would try this using the CTIOS client on your test machine, just to  eliminate CAD a little. From the trace, it doesn't appear to matter,  since you are looking at the pure CTIOS trace messages, and they are the  issue - but I like CTIOS for this sort of debugging.
--> We are using CAD and do not have CTIOS client installed. Does the soft actually come with the UCCE installation package? Can you please tell me where I can find it?
    @Geoff and Ed
Dissociate and re-associate the device with JTAPI and retest.
--> Good point, I did the same actually but the phone still didn't work.
Nevertheless, I really think we have a network problem (which was observed time to time before)
I will update this thread as soon as I can do some further tests.
    Thanks,
    Regards,

  • UCCE 7.5 to 8.5 Common Ground upgrade with uncommon hardware.

    All,
So, I have a client that is running UCCE 7.5, and they are looking to do an in place upgrade to 8.5.  Most of their hardware is pretty standard, except for the PGs.  There is a mix of virtual and physical servers, with drive configurations that are nowhere near a standard.  The physical servers have drive configurations that are 40 gig for the OS drive, and 97 gig for the application drive.  The virtual servers are a 20 gig OS drive, 50 gig application drive,
Looking through the 8.5 BOM, the requirements seem to be either 4x72 or 4x146 for the drives. I'm sure that some voodoo can be used to bring the VMs into compliance, but what about the physical servers?  Is there any issue running 8.5 with these drive configurations?
The client getting ready to go to 9.1 fairly quickly after the 8.5 upgrade, and is planning a tech refresh for that project, hence the desire to use the in place hardware until the new environment is up and going.

Ok, so 8.5 won't care about your drive configuration, but TAC might.  However, since you already have 7.5 running like that I can't imagine you having any additional problems.  Caveat emptor, the customer is not running a standard install and make sure they understand this and it's documented.
