Update is not up to date....no search feature!!!

when will an update include a search feature for contacts?? search is a key to ALL the information in contacts. currently you can only find a contact if you happen know the name. googles premium is based on search...every other mobile phone//pda has this. was apple listening???

I have over 2,000 contacts. Flipping by finger takes forever, even when I know exactly where someone falls alphabetically. When I don't know the name exactly, for example only recall the company or first name, I'm doomed. No way to locate. Missing an alpha search is telling business users to stick with their Blackberry, whose search feature is superb. Want "Tom Smith"? Just type T space S and it is there.

Buffer table not up to date when searching shopping carts

Hi Friends,
This is probably a common error but could not find specific note or forum threads to my specific issue.
We are on SRM 5.0 Extended Classic with SP level 15. There has been no org changes or user changes.
when existing user tries to pull shopping carts using OLD PO and Template with a time frame, there are no issues and List is displayed to the user. But when the user deselects everything and just selects 'Including completed shopping cart' checkbox and does a search, dump happens with Buffer table not up to date.
I am not sure if combination of timeout error and/or trying to retrieve all his shopping carts ever created buffer issues. Please advise. Atleast user is not new or changed in the org structure. User can shop normally, but not pull all SCs that he created since his first shopping cart.

Go to Tr:ST22, get the dump log details, from there you will find where the error occur, as well as the callstack, Eg, which
FM, form ,has been called before the error occur. Set BP there , so you can proceed debug.
This dump could happen if there are some data is missing for this SC, in this case, FUNCTION 'BBP_LINK_GET_OW'
might interesting.

Update Results not Displayed in Oracle Text search with Transactional Index

Hi,
I am working on a solution utilising Oracle Text to give me a probable list of matching records. The problem I have the table I am searching on is prepopulated with seed data and the application we are building is assigning a record and updating the details(columns) against it. This detail is what we are searching on using an Multi Column Datastore index which is refreshed every hr and also has the transactional parameter specified. Unfortunately the Transactional Index does not pick up the updated details, it only seems to work if I insert a new record (which will never happen). This to me sounds like a bug. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

So my guess is that because the dummy column (signature) is not updated it is not being reflected in the transactional memory area.

Update form not returning correct data selection in dropdown menu

Using CS3 DW along with SQL 2008 R2. I have a number of dropdown menus on an entry form (using VBScript/ASP) that are feed by SQL queries. All data is accepted in the entry form and writes to the table in the database without any issues. I created an Update form and based on a Rec ID clicked on from a list the Update form is presented with all the data in the correct fields except for one dropdown menu. All the other menus go to the correct selection except for the one. Spent 2 days attempting to resolve this. If I change the dropdown menu to a field the correct data is presented when the form comes up, but doesn't allow the user to make a selection from the menu. When I change it back to a dropdown menu the saved selection is not selected - just lists the entire list of items in the menu. Any help or ideas on this is greatly appreciated.

Once more thank you. I have sorted the issue out.
I observed that I was selecting the wrong field. I selected the field matching the record set of the select instead of the field matching the record set of the table I am working as seen on the image belew
I was selecting this - This is the record set of the table that hold values for the city select list
Instead of this. This is the record set of the table behind the form I am working on
My issue is now re-solved.

App auto updates are not saving configuration data for these Apps.

I use Junos Pulse to connect to my work office on my iphone and my ipad air. I am having problems when this App does an Auto Update from the App Store, that I loose all of my configuration settings. I have co-workers that do not have this problem. I'm at a loss to understand what settings on my devices are causing this to happen.

I had just updated my HTC One Max phone today, and it's not really what I expected..all the features that were mentioned for the KitKat update, I already have it prior to the update (with the exception of the printing online feature). I really was hoping that they would change the menu or at least install a File Manager Settings to have better access to transfer files over. :/ Not too thrilled with the new update

The updates should not affect the conversion to ppt feature.
I still have that option at my end in Acrobat 11.0.08
Try repairing Acrobat from the 'Help' menu and check.

I loaded a PDF file out to my Touchpad but there does not appear to be any search feature in the Acrobat reader? Am I doing something wrong?

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.

Because GPS has nothing to do with WiFi, cellular signals, or data of any sort. GPS is implemented by signals sent by satellites that are received by GPS receivers. If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad? If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.
You can also download the programs again.

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone

Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
