Upgrading JDeveloper 9052 to 1012 and centrino problems?

I have recently purchased a new laptop with the following specification:
Dell 9300
Centrino 1.8
1Gb DDR2
ATI x300 128Mb
60Gb Hard Drive
Windows XP SP2 + all updates
to replace my previous development machine.
I have experienced the following problems when running JDeveloper on it and I'd appreciate your assistance in rectifying them.
1. I installed JDeveloper 9052 on my laptop and tried to run an ADF based application that I have got running on many other development machines and a 904 server. When I ran the application on my laptop it worked fine until it reached the point within the application that created an inputStream from a URL - where it failed. I know that it fails exactly at this point after spending some time debugging the code. I found this very strange as I could successfully view the content of the URL in a web browser.
2. In an attempt to find a solution to point 1. (see above) I installed version 1012 of JDeveloper. I tried to open the existing project that I had created in 9052 and when prompted agreed to convert it to the new format. Then without opening or editing any of the files I successfully ran the applicaiton by right clicking on the view controller within the project (applicaiton navigator panel) and selecting run from the context menu. The application ran successfully without any problems at this stage.
HOWEVER, I then opened up the struts-config pageflow diagram and tried running it from there, the project failed.
After studying the struts-config file both before and after I had opened it within 1012 I found the following discrepancy:

After manually removing this line of code I was able to get the application to run again. However every time I edit/view the struts config file or indeed save changes and reboot JDeveloper the parameter="unknown" line is added again and prevents the project from running.
3. After further investigative work following point 2. I came across what I believe to be a further bug.
When I reopened JDeveloper I noticed that the struts-config pageflow diagram had changed. A dataAction had been replaced by a dataPage as well as the extra line of code being added as described in point 2. The pageflow diagram should be dataPage --> dataAction --> dataPage but now it was dataPage --> dataPage --> dataPage.
After further investigation I found a descrepancy in the following file before and after I had opened it in 1012. The nominalHeaderXml4\ViewController\model\StrutsPageFlow.oxd_struts file changed from this ....

I have speant the last 2 days looking into these problems. I have found that both points 2 and 3 happen consistantly when opening 9052 projects in the 1012 environment. And have elimated the following things when trying to get JDeveloper 9052 to work correctly, firewalls, antivirus, windows updates, and software conflicts. The only difference that I can identify is that my new machine uses a centrino chip and my old one used a P4.
I hope that someone will be able to shed some light on these problems for me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

The struts-related observation is noted in the JDeveloper 10.1.2 Release Note Addendum:

For the 1st issue, I'd recommend opening a TAR with metalink so our worldwide support engineers can help diagnose the problem. I've not heard of any Centrino specific issues to date.

I have not witnessed this behavior with Excel in mail. Are you mailing these documents to yourself, or is someone else mailing them? I would need to test this a little later, I'm not in a position to test at this time. If someone else has a thought, they could come in, otherwise you may have to wait a while for me to do this. I have obligations this evening and am getting ready to log off here.

Multiple Problems after Leopard upgrade HELP! Video display and FW problem

I don't know if this is related.. but I've been battling multiple problems ever since I upgraded my G5 to Leopard a week ago. Everything was perfect under Tiger.
Well, I think I've got everything solved except two last things.
1. My 750GH Maxtor Firewire drive... when I plug it in... does not show in the desktop and it causes both my internal drive and two other Firewire enclosures to disappear from the desktop. I can see all of them mounted in the disk utility, but if this one drive is plugged in.. all icons disappear from the desktop. If I unplug or unmount the 750GB drive.. everything comes back.
I've reformatted this drive, etc. This does not happen on my MacBookPro. The drive mounts fine on that. I've tried different cables, I've tried USB (it's a triple interface Maxtor) and nothing seems to work. I would assume there's something wrong with the drive and not my desktop... but the drive works fine on the MacBookPro.
PLEASE!! Any clues would help...
The other problem that only occurred directly after upgrading to Leopard... is that my graphics now get corrupted and garbled. I've got two video cards running two LCD monitors. The card giving me problems is the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (256MB). What happens is.. first all the window shadows and top menu bar start getting checkerboard patterns.. then the whole screen starts getting variants of different colors and checkerboard patterns. After awhile and refreshing the screen a few times... the problem goes away for a bit. Then comes back.
Again, this card and my entire system and drives were working fine under Tiger. Now, I don't know if I have a bad card? Is there something wrong with Leopard on my G5 2Ghz DP? Did my Maxtor 750GB triple interface drive just go bad with the upgrade?
I don't know where else to look, I'm guessing the "geniuses" at the Apple store won't help me since this machine is out of warranty. Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. I've been battling all these problems ever since I started the Leopard upgrade 4 days ago and have not got much sleep.

The drives not or disappearing on the desktop could point to the need to do a pram reset.
I believe you hold down the apple-option-p-r keys at startup and listen for a couple of chimes.

Upgraded to 10.6.7 and wifi problem is back

Since upgrading to 10.6.7 my MacBook Pro is losing wifi connection every 10-20 minutes. The signal strength shows maximum bar and ifconfig shows assigned IP address. But I can't reach any machine including the router. I need to toggle on-off wifi and the network works again. It's very similar to the problem I had with 10.6.5 update. My wifi router is 2WIRE from AT&T U-verse.
It is VERY frustrating to have problem like this again and again. OS X used to be much more stable than it is now. You guys at Apple should stop watching AAPL ticker all day and get to the work.

Maybe all of could try some fixes.
1. First try to Reset Your Pram to see if that helps.
2. If step one doesn't work then try the fixes in the blog post How I fixed my dropping wireless Airport connection problem in Snow Leopard to see if any of those hints work.
3. Open System Preferences->Network pane and in your Airport settings turn off your Airport card! Then look at the top of the Network pane for the "Location" drop-down. Use that to create a new 'Custom Location', using any title of your choice. Then at the bottom right-hand of the Network pane click on the word 'Apply' to save your new Location. Then rejoin your wireless network.
If non of these fixes happen take the Mac in to be repaired. Good Luck.

Upgraded to Maps 2.o and now problems

I used to be able to download the maps over WLAN for Bosnia and Herzegovina on my previous version of Nokia Maps, now I can only download the maps for the countries that have the Navigation feature... And I am stuck with minimal map information for Bosnia/Herzegovina. Any advice on how to either downgrade or maybe enable download of maps over phone...

I am facing similar problems on both my N82 and N95. Apparently other users are facing a problem too as per some posts below.Some guys seem to claim that they have found a workaround in the post titled "Drawing a Blank - no detail (N95)". I am going to try and see if my units work after employing their method and will inform you if successful.

Upgraded to 1.2.2 and having problems

I notice a lot of topics about the bug with 1.2.2 and win 2000. There has also been a lot of answers, and people that have don them. I am gitting so confused on what to do, can anyone help with just posting the fix for the win 2000, not XP. Thnaks a whole lot.

Some Win 2K users are rolling their iPods back to 1.2.1 -- Apple will tell you its not possible but it seems that some users have a solution. See ndsinger 's post in this thread:

In another forum, a Windows 2000 user reported success by taking their iPod to a different machine, one with Windows XP that was running iTunes 7.4.3.1, restored it on that machine and then took their iPod back to its home library on the Windows 2000 machine. He now has 1.2.2 working with Windows 2000. You might try that if you have access to another computer with XP and at least iTunes 7.4.3.1 (or 7.5), but it would mean restoring your iPod on another machine, thus losing all its contents (but the procedure for rolling back to 1.2.1 also requires a restore).

Upgraded to IOS 5 software and having problems synching music with my laptop

Not sure what happened, but after I downloaded the IOS 5.0 software upgrade I kept getting errors when trying to synch the ipone with itunes on my primary laptop that runs Windows Vista. None of my music can be synched becaise I continually get an error that the device is not recognized.

I would suggest opening "Apple Software Update" (from "All Programs" under "Start") so as to ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of iTunes.

Intel imac G5, Safari and Godaddy problems

I have an intel imac G5 with OS 10.4.5 with Safari 2.0.3 and can not access my GoDaddy hosted website directly or with forwarding (on or off)...
I can however access the GoDaddy hosted website with my imac G5 (non-intel) with the same version Mac OS and Safari and with a Windows computer.
I can only assume this is a problem with my intel imac?
Another weird problem...my site is still on an SBC webhosting.com hosting server and I can only access the SBC hosted site with Safari not the Godaddy site. SBC has not cancelled the account and has not taken the old site down as of yet.
I have tried clearing the cache, Firefox, and pinging the godaddy site ip address.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

BOSD, Battery issues and Heating problem after iOS 8 upgrade

The same thing happened to me on my 2012 Subaru Outback. I'm not sure this will help you since you have a Honda, but I'm posting this just in case.
I paired the audio on my car with my iPhone 6. However, when I turned the car off and back on again, the iPhone would not pair automatically. I had to manually connect the iPhone with the car. Turns out there are two separate bluetooth pairings on my car: one for phone which allows up to 5 devices and one for audio which allows only one device. So I did the second bluetooth pairing for the phone (had already done the audio), and that fixed it. YMMV

When i press command+I (Get Info) i see that there is 140 GB "Available Space" on my hard disk but when i click on my hard disk icon on the desktop, and then press "space" i only see 102 GB free!! What the f*???

Socket problem after upgrading to Xcode 4.2 and Mac OS 10.7.2

I am writing a client app to connect to a java server using the method explained in http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#qa/qa1652/_index.html
Everything was working fine until I upgraded to Xcode 4.2 and Mac OS 10.7.2 yesterday.
The server cannot read data written by the client. Attempting to read returns -1 which means end of stream.
Any idea why this has happened?

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.

Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......
