-ve stock in the pick storage bin
Hi All,
Here is the example that explains the problem we are having: If the outbound delivery has a quantity of 300, when processed using VL06P the TO is being created for 300 where as the actual available quantity in the pick bin is only 200. This is resulting in -ve availability stock at the pick storage type when we are checking in transaction LS26
What is required is create the TO for only the quantity that is available at the pick bin and avoid u2013ve stock at the pick storage type level
Can someone suggest what config is missing?

Uncheck negative stock for the storage type you are picking from. IMG - LE- WM-Master Data-Define Stg Type uncheck 'Allow Negative Stock'.

Material appearing in the another Storage Bin
Hi,
I have maintanined storage bin in material master (view:warehouse managment2) as "OPEN" for my material 78.59.32.1551.
After doing 105(MIGO),for my material 78.59.32.1551,when I checked stock by using tcode LS24,the material is showing in the another storage bin:04-DR-01 instead of "OPEN".
It should appear in the "OPEN". Am I right? If no ,please correct me .

Not Printing the source storage bin in the layout
Hi Gurus
As i am printing the layout to pick the goods for delivery, in which iam not getting the source storage bin for some deliveries only. sometimes its picking and some times not, what has been the reason behind it. i have take the help of an Ababper to check the conditions if any for that filed. but i cannot find any.

Transport the created Storage Bin Automatic from develop to quality LS10

My customer has created a new entry in LS10 u2013 Create Storage Bin Automatically in the development system with a transport order.
He forgot to do Environment u2013 Create bins. I did it with my user in the development system and SAP has created the bins automatically (the system creates and launch a batch-input). The system did not ask me for a transport order (I think because this created data is master data).
The user has transported the transport order from development to quality system but the Storage Bins are not in QAS. I told to the user that the Storage Bin are master data and we has to do Environment u2013 Create bins in each new environment but LS10 transaction has status 'not modifiable' in quality and production system.
There is a way to transport the created Storage Bin Automatically from development to quality and production? Now the user is asking me to have the Storage Bins in quality and production with access LS10 in status 'not modifiable'.

Stock transfer from 998 storage type to Physical bins
Dear Experts,
As part of data conversion,After loading huge stock into SAP 998 st type into INITIAL bin,I want to move the stock into physical bins.I have SU management activated.
1)During the initial upload to 998 , I have taken Material slip field as storage bin coordinate in the external system, How would I move the stock into respective bins in SAP?
2) How would I map SAP bins with stock locations (counter part for storage bins in external system) ? So that I want to make sure , stock will be placed into the right bins.
3)What will be my approach for moving the stock into physical bins? Can it be through LSMW - LT01 with 999 movement type? Or is there any other method i can use?
4)Is there any tamplete to use for the above process? Do I need to develop any conversion program?
4) I want to print the storage units simultaneously during this process. How can I do this?
I really appreciate your help.

Use this info to load the stock into the correct storage bin

Don't really understand what your doubt is, but if your MM/WM setup is correct, this should go OK

LSMW, with 'Standard batch/Direct Input' Object 0220 and Method 0000 (should be assigned to program RLBEST00).

Just assign the correct print code to the 561 movement type...but beware for the fact that a lot of labels will be generated at the same time and you can stuck your printer :s -
INterim storage bin to unrestricted stock movemnet
Dear All,
I have a problem in warehouse management
Step 1 After the GR(65000 units) my system will automatically create a TR and TO to the quality inspection .
Step 2 will clear the inspection lot by giving a Usage decision through the T.code QA32 to move the stock from quality to unrestricted stock
step 3 But the stock will not be going to the unrestricted area instead it is going to the intrim storage type 922 TR-Zone.
Step 4 If i see in the LS26 i am able to see the stock for put away as 65000 units and pick quantity as 65000 units and the stock type as quality
So the stock is still in quality, if i see the PO also it is showing that the stock is in quality
How can i move this out of the interim storage bin
I am pretty new to WM kindly advice me how to go about this ,

Select the PCN and create Transfer Order and confirm the TO -
Picking multiple quants from one storage bin
Hello all,
I have a client that purchases copper wire in pallets that are stored initially in storage bins. During goods issues to production the pallets are split up and, when material is put back in the warehouse, storage bins end up with multiple quants that are partial pallets. When they issue goods, the system, using FIFO, picks quants from multiple bins even though one bin has sufficient quantity. That forces the warehouse staff to pick from multiple bins rather than one.
Is there a way to make the system pick all of the material from a single bin even if there are multiple quants?

Picking from another storage bin
During picking TO creation the system automatically determines the source storage bin from where the materials should be picked. Lets say the items to be picked are not there and cannot be picked. In this case the operator should be enabled to pick from another storage bin, however the system does not allow this. (This is via mobile data entry and in a bulk SU manages st. type).
Is there a way to allow picking from another storage bin? If not, can the TO be created without any source determination? Even if I switch off picking strategy, the system expects entry of source bin at TO creation.Hi,
With out a source storage bin , pick TO cannot be created currently. If at all you want a different source bin, you have to cancel the TO, block the current bin and then recreate the TO. That is an exceptional case and should be handled inside the system.

In Customizing, the setting is such that no negative stock is allowed in storage type 916. However, this posting will cause negative stock to exist in storage bin 0000000000 of storage type 916. "
Can anyone help me ?

I created cutomazing in Spro>Logistic Execution>Warehouse management>Activities>Transfer>Define Movement types :
- Movement Type = 161 (Returns PO)
- Dest = 916
- Shipment Type = A (Stck removal)
- Requirement type = B Purchase Order
- manual TO creation not allowed
- manual TR creation not allowed
And then I created TO with LT01 using move type 161 and requirement type = B
Now stock in Storage Type 916 was there with qty 1000
But When try again to Create GR (MIGO-161- PO return)
the error still "50012541 ; available stock in interim storage bin around 1,000.000 KG below target

I am doing the movement type 261 in MIGO with reference to a reservation.
I am working with Warehouse Management and I want to know why the system is defined in automatic the storage type 100?
When I am doing the movement 261, I know that I have stock in the storage type 007 and I am putting this, but, the system is showing the following error message:

Message no. L9040
Diagnosis
In Customizing, the setting is such that no negative stock is allowed in storage type 100. However, this posting will cause negative stock to exist in storage bin HE01 of storage type 100.
For my storage type 100 I do not have defined any strategy in the customising.

Whether WM/PP interface is active it depends on your config and master data as well.
You should check:
- config: SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > Define Production
- master data: routing (proper work center is assigned), work center (proper production supply area), material master(FG) (production scheduling profile), control cycle (components)
In standard system storage type 100 is defined as an interim storage type (you can compare it to storage type 902, 914, 916, etc). In control cycles (WM master data; LPK1/LPK2/LPK3) you define for each components which is the production storage type.
In standard system storage type 914 is not used with material staging. 914 s.t. related scenario: GI (261) --> stock removel from normal storage type to interim storage type (914).
100 s.t. related scenario: stock removal from normal s.t. to interim s.t. 100 --> GI (261). -
Move stock between storage bin

We have some materials created in the past and are created in dummy storage bin.
Now we need to move this materials to the correct storage bin. How can I do move X units from a storage bin to other storage bin. Create a TR between storages bin??
Other question, how can I create manually with GR, a material in a storage bin, I mean how can associate a material to a storage bin.
ThanksAs per your statement I understand you are facing problem while TO creation through LT10. It seems you are getting destination bins which are blocked.
Storage bins get blocked if there is an open inventory document.If you are looking for a specific bin which is blocked then clear the relevant inventory document. Also it is possible that due to some reason supervisor blocks specific bin ,you can see it in LS06 & unblock it.

Thanks for your support in Advance.No, you can't change length for storage bin field in standard and also it is not suggestable to client. If client forcing on requirement, You can suggest like below.
create one more field for EXT.storage bin by using enhancement and do one customized report for show as , storage bin number+EXT.storage bin = actual storage bin.
For only client reference you do this report and in standard reports it will not show like this else tell to client ---> it is not possible, because it is replicating and using at different programmes. -

I want that, system block the first storage bin automaticly till the first storage bin will be empty. System doesnt allow add new goods that quant.

I explain what i need with example;
I have 2 storage bin for my material. All this bin's capacity is 5 pcs. Now first good issue with PO about 5 pcs. this material putaway first bin. then other good issue 3 pcs. This material putaway 2nd bin. Then i remove material 3 pcs in 1st bin. As a result, i have 2 pcs material 1st bin and 3 pcs material seceond bin. My capacity is 3 pcs 1st bin and 2pcs 2nd bin.
Now, if there is good issue same material, system doesn't allow putaway this materials to 1st bin. System block this 1st bin automaticlly. This block is automatically deleted after the last storage unit has been removed from stock (picked from the row).
By the way, am i need batch management to implement this strategy for this material?

When you define a movement type, you can set up the system to create dynamic storage bins in the assigned interim storage area. In this case, the system uses the document number which triggered the stock movement as the coordinates for the interim storage bin.
For example, for a goods receipt, you can set up the system to use the purchase order number as the storage bin coordinates in the interim storage area for goods receipts.
These coordinates only exist as long as the quant is in the interim storage bin; afterwards, they are deleted.
Where do I do the config for the above scenario..
I tried creating bins for interim storage typees in LX20....after creating an interim storage area through referencing standard ones in IMG... I cant understand how the system creates dynamic bins for the movement type. Please helpLX20 is for static bins.
The dynamic ones are created automatically by the system when the stock is moved to the area.
In the movement type configuration in the WM:
(LE -> WM -> Activities -> Define movement types)
Select your movement type and warehouse and make sure the SCR box is checked
Also check that the field is mapped correctly for the dynamic bin in
LE-> WM -> Activities -> Define Requirements

I dont know why it is only checking storage bin as 01, where as stock is maintained in other bins also,

I am also finding out this issue.
It must be some fixed bin assigned at storage type level in material master.
I checked in MMR, but no fix bin is assigned in WM2 view. Field is blank. No entry is maintained.
Or check movment type setting what is the source

Also check any storage bin created for production supply storage type.
