Vendor SPL GL - Period Total

Hello,
If I have to get Totals for a given vendor with a special g/l indicator for a given period, how should I proceed?
Table
LFC1 u2013 gives total postings values period wise, might not be possible to get amount for a special g/l indicator
LFC3 u2013 gives total postings vendor and special G/L wise, but for a given year
Let me know your inputs
Thanks
Balla

Hello Srinivasa,
Actually i need to calculate that inside a custom Z program, and hence i m looking for table logic. Ofcourse even in table logic i can use tables BSIK,etc, but that will also put quite a stress on system.
Hene was seeking any easy table-field something similar to GLT0,FAGLFLEXT,LFC1,LFC3, type of way to get this
Thanks

  • Vendor wise retest period

    Dear All ,
My client has a scenario in which the same material is supplied by multiple vendors . The retest  period (inspection interval in material master) for materials supplied by different vendors is different .
The requirement is that the next inspection date in batch master should be calculated based on the vendor who has supplied the particular batch and the retest period for the material supplied by the particular vendor .
Can I have guidance about the master and /or config settings to achieve this ?
    Ram ~

    Dear Ram
As said by Shyamal there is no standard sap solution for this. But with development you can alter the next inspection date. Use this user exit with correct logic
QEVA0003 Calculate "Next inspection date" for batch
    Revert back with your feedback

  • Issue in service order billing- total cost is positive but negative cost exists in different periods

    Hello Experts,
Need you advice/solutuin on the below scenario:
In a service order the total accumulated cost is positive, (some material positings has been reversed in some other periods, so that is displayed as negative cost in the cost overveiw): but when we try to the billing in DP90. it is asking for credit memo request also.
In the DIP profile configuration following characteristics are maintained for generation of dynamic items:
Activity type, Cost element, Material, Object number, Period, Posting row, Transaction Currency, Unit of Measure,
As per my understanding negative cost is taken into consideration because of the "Period" characteristics maintained in the ODP1 tcode. And this is causing the creation of credit memo request due to cancelled postings in different period, as a result for that period total accumulated cost is not positive.
My analysis may not be correct, Please let me know your understanding on this and how we can handle this situation if not want to create the credit memo request (because it will require extra configuration i.e. sales area mapping etc and may lead to change in interfaces etc..)

  • Vendor Down Payment should not exceed Total PO Value

    Dear All,
We want to restric the Vendor Down payment to total PO value and system must not allow to post the Down payment more that Total PO value.
    Eg.
    Material value - 1000
    Tax                     100
    Other charges    150
    Total PO Value - 1250/-
Now when we make down payment to the above vendor against the PO,the system must not allow us to make down payment more then 1250/-.
    Do suggest.
    Regards,

    Hi,
You need to write validation rule & user exit for checking PO amount with down payment.
Whenever you post a down payment with reference to PO, in PO header, there is a status tab where you can check the status of PO i.e down pymt made, GR done etc., so write a user exit on that basis.

  • VENDOR ADDRESS CHANGE BY PERIOD SPECIFIC

    HI,
We have an requirement with same vendor Code the different Address need to be maintained by Period Specific. For example:
    Vendor Code: 1000001
    Period: 01.04.2007 to 02.04.2008
    Address 1
    Peiod: 03.04.2008 to 31.12.2008
    Address 2
Since by chaging this Address with same vendor code the existing transaction should not affect for the previuos period.
Any Body can throw light on this.
    Tks
    Mani.

    hi
you can do this ,use MK12 where you can maintain planned changes
    enter ur vendor
enter the date from which you want to make changes
and select type of data you want to change

  • Vendor down payments recovery mangement

I am working on an MIS report in which I have to mention the Original down payment given to the vendor against the current outstanding advance and ageing analysis. As per the current practice in our company while accounting the recoveries against running bills, the entire original/existing advance is being reversed/credited and the balance advance amount is getting debited/posted for the recovering the proportionate amount.
Please advise whether I will be able to extract the Original advance amount and the Original advance payment date of the open items in Vendor Spl GL with my current accounting pattern? If not, going forward how should we account recoveries to meet such requirement.
    Thanks for your kind suggestions.
    Krishna

    Hi,
I don't think that the Down payment will be reversed after receipt of invoices, if do! it is not a good practice. The only thing to do is pass the adjustment entry against invoice receipt then you can get original downpayment details by run the vendor balances Transaction with SPL GL selection at screen(FBl1n).
    Eg:
    1. Advance (Downpayment Made) Rs. 1,00,000.00 (F-48)
    2. Invoice receipt(assume after some time) Rs. 1,50,000 (F-43(FI) /MIR6(MM))
Step 1: If you have to pay total due amount then in F-53 you can select SPL GL Along with normal Gl then the system will consider Rs. 50,000 (150000-100000)
Step 2: If there are any recoveries(Debit notes etc..) you have to pas the recoveries entry to normal GL with suitable T-Code (May be F-02) then you can adjust the entries with clearing....
Finally no need to reverse the Original Downpayment.
The above is as of my knowledge.....

  • Vendor Balances in Local Currency

    Hi Folks,
The transactioncode is S_ALR_87012082 and the output is Vendorwise Total Balance for a given period.
    - The requirement is the Vendorwise BusinessAreawise Balance Report
    Any possible clues
    Thanks
    Ganesh

    Hi Ganesh,
You are on the right track. Execute transaction code <b>S_ALR_87012082</b>. In the input screen before executing, click on the <b>red-green-blue</b> icon beside the "<b>Execute</b>" icon to the right to bring up the dynamic selection fields. Scroll down until you get to the <b>Business Area</b> field. Double-click on it and it gets transferred to the right hand side of the screen. This would enable you to run your report Vendors by Business areas.
However, if you want to see the whole Vendor report with sub-total for each Business area, leave the Business Area field in the Dynamic Selection section blank and execute the report for a selected company code. Once you're inside the report, click on the tile-like icon(small 9 boxes) on the "<b>Application Tool Bar</b>" and use it to select the <b>Business Area</b> and the other fields you would like to see/use by transferring them from the right hand side to the left hand side.
    I hope the above helps.
Do not forget to award the points please.
    Regards,
    Jacob

  • Set-up Vendor rebates in SAP

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    Good day!
Please help. How will I Set-up Vendor Rebates in SAP? Currently, we are getting rebates from our Vendors based from the total sales of an item or based from the total purchased amount/quantity in a given period. How will I incorporate this process in SAP?
From my research, I will have to use the idea of a "Subsequent Settlement". Any ideas on how will I start implementing this, what are the needed steps in customizing?
    Thank you!
    Mik

    Hi,
    Process Flow: -
    1. XK02 - Changing a Vendor Master Record (Activate "Subsequent Settlement" and "Sebseq. sett. index" in Purchasing view)
    2. MEB1 - Creating a Rebate Arrangement
    3. ME21N - Creating a Purchase Order
    4. MIGO - Processing the Goods Receipt for the Purchase Order
    5. MIRO - Processing the Incoming Invoice on the Basis of a Purchase Order

  • Re: vendor reports

    Hi All!
Can anyone please help me regarding this issue. At my client place, the purchasing department needs me to take a report which includes vendor number, name and total amount paid for a certain period of  a fiscal year. Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.
    Points will be assigned.

    Hello
For SAP query creation, check this link.
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/e2/74c203206711d6b1d500508b6b8b11/frameset.htm
Ideally, a modification of a standard report is best advised. Take ABAP help to make one. If he requires field and tables info, then check this link where SAP FI tables are schematically displayed.
    http://www.erpgenie.com/abap/tables_fi.htm
Also, queries have problems in transporting from one client to other. Can be sorted.
In any case, if the number of users are minimum, and if you are designing something for a set of specific users, a query is advised. Prefer a new report if the user list is large.

  • Assigning calender to vendor

    Hi Freinds,
Every vendor has its own working days and holidays. For example vendors in japan has its own working days so does vendors in other countries. Is there a way to assign country factory to vendors eg in vendor master record.
    Sanjay

You can create Planning Calendars Transactions MD25 and assign these to materials. For materials you purchase from Japan you can have a different one, the ones you purchase from taiwan can have a different one.
Once you have created your planning calendar you need to do the following :-
In MRP1 Lot Size should be PK
In MRP2 Planning Calendar should be the ones you have created.
    Description of Planning Calendar
You use the planning calendar to define flexible period lengths for
planning and procurement in demand management and in MRP. For this
purpose, you can maintain period splits of your choice (for example,
Wednesday to Tuesday). If you work with the planning calendar, you can
also display the period totals display in the MRP list or in the
stock/requirements list according to your planning calendar periods.
         Example
If, for example, a vendor always delivers his goods every second
Wednesday, you can use the planning calendar to define a period length
of two weeks starting on the Wednesday and ending on the Tuesday, two
weeks later. The period lot size can also be set accordingly so that, on
the one hand, the requirements are always grouped together within the
defined period length, and on the other, the order proposals are planned
in such a way that the delivery date lies at the end of the period.

I want to configure a system like this :
Some of the vendors do not post goods on mondays, and I want to make MRP consider this situation. Is there any way to make this possible ?

If i understand correctly then you que is some of your vendor do not deliver goods on Mondy?
you can use plannning calender functionality to acheive the solution
                                                                                    Maintain Planning Calendar
In this section, you set the parameters that define a planning calendar.
