Vendor Sync Job

If 2 vendors have same address in ECC, will both the vendors get tranferred from ECC to SRM using vendor sync job -BBP_VENDOR_SYNC. I know in BBPGETVD there is an option to deselect address comparison to avoid duplicates - not sure though about vendor sync program - BBP_VENDOR_SYNC. Can anyone confirm based on their experience . What I know is this, that you should definitely use BBPGETVD for new vendor transfers and it does compare the addresss of the vendors on the selection screen if the box is not checked. You will get a replication error in this case as I recall (SLG1). And I have had dialogue with SAP regarding changing the address of a vendor and it not being picked up by BBP_VENDOR_SYNC. Apparently according to them, in this case no checking of addresses occurs since the possibilities in terms of total address volume could be horrendous in terms of performance.

Vendor Sync Job not updating all vendors from ECC to SRM

The vendors are updated from ECC to SRM by batch job
Z_SUP_BAT_VENDORSYNC (object BBP_VENDOR_SYNC).
This job is missing updation of some vendors from ECC to SRM.
Its happening on and of.We are updating these leftout vendors manually by TCODE BBPUPDVD and new left out vendors by BBPGETVD.
We have concluded that information in these vendors is replicated from
ECC to SRM GUI but it is not reflecting in SRM portal.
Reasons looks like when vendor data(Incoterms/Payment terms) is replicated from ECC to SRM an
addition row is created in vendor data in SRM which does have this information(Tcode ;BBPMAININT).
Though the information is present in second row in vendor data tab of vendor information when executed using TCODE BBPMAININT but Vendor information in portal is picked from 1st row and does not appear when try to shop.
Can anyone suggest how to resolve this?

The problem is because of the inconsistency in the tables BBPM_BUT_FRG0060 and BBPM_BUT_FRG0061.
From table BUT000 take the partner guid for the problematic vendor.
Enter the partner guid as input to the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0060 . check the number of available rows.
Now check the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 with the partner guid. check the number of rows.
You must see the inconsistent number of records in these 2 tables for the partner, like 1 row in BBPM_BUT_FRG0060 and 2 rows in BBPM_BUT_FRG0061.
Delete the invalid row in the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061. That should resolve the problem you are facing.

RFC error while running sync job in AC 10

I have done all the configuration to add new SAP system via SPRO in GRC 10. Now I am trying to run the sync job for the first time, I am getting the below mssage. I checked the RFC desitinations, it looks fine.

I checked in SLG1 also, its displaying the same errors as listed above. I have some systems added earlier which are correctly configured and working fine. I tried to match the configuration with the new systems, and everything looks fine. Not sure why this error is coming.

It seems to be a problem with the add-on in the back-en system, and a function module couldn't be found. Check the RFC connection (refer here for example GRC AC10 sync job error ) and make sure the add-on is properly installed.A simple check could be go to the back-end system, tx SE37 and check if the function modules exist.

I have double checked my connector settings and connection setting, everything seems fine. I checked the tables GRACCONNSTAT and GRFNCONNSCNLK, the tables are populated correctly. I checked to see the RFC ID passes the authorization test and connection test and the logical systems are populated in BD54, can anyone please tell what I'm missing here and why i'm facing this error message?

assigned the profile SAP_ALL.

Issue with Authorization sync job in GRC 10.1

I am facing below issue while running the authorization sync job in 10.1 after importing the configuration data as part of migration from 5.3 to 10.1.
we have GRC server and plugin system on the same SP level 04.
Error:

Thr RFC connection is working fine and the connector settings are done in GRC. Also the RFC user has SAP_ALL.

I have a similar error for which I have put up a separate post, your input would be highly valuable.
My RFC connection works via the test in SM59 but when executing GRAC_AUTH_SYNC I get a simiar error to your above.

Sync job failed - Set up LMDB

Hello SAP gurus,
we're performing the initial configuration of the SOLMAN 7.1 for Enterprise Linux 5 and Oracle 11G.
After setting up the LMDB, the synch batch (SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001) executed every 10 minutes fails, and the message prompted in the log does not seem very helpful, neither have I find anything in the web:
Sync job failed with error: Source and target model vers. are lower than the r ***
Any idea? Could it be the server object name? I haven't requested any in http://service.sap.com/namespaces but use one I defined. Is that really necessary? My user does not have permits to launch that request.

Check the SLD version and SLD content version.

GRC AC10 sync job error

Hi Experts,
I am getting error while running sync job. I searched but couldn't find a solution.
We have two GRC AC10 clients setup, one is for fresh AC10 installation testing and another is for migration testing.
Both clients talk to two different ECC clients. Issue is that we have setup all SPRO configurations, plug-in settings and stuff which is described in AC10 post -installation and migration documents,
Sync job for one client is successful, but sync job for another client is giving error -
Error message -
Starting authorization sync for connector IE9_600 and language EN
Error in IE9_600; Reason Error in RFC; 'Function module "/GRCPI/GRIA_AUTH_G
PFCG authorization sync failed with errors
I have checked plugin settings, RFC and other settings, it seems ok as it is in another client.
What could be the cause and solution? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Org. value sync job in ERM

Hello experts,
Scenario: Our backend system consist HR component, but we do not use it and therefore do not want to implement the HR RTA
So my question is, Is it possible to skip the HR contents for the org. value sync job in ERM? As we encounter error when running the report, and if possible, we would like to skip the HR contents which is not neccessary for our environment.

Hello Wei,
If your system has SAP_HR component installed then you must install the VIRSAHR component for GRC as well. Reason being that there are some function modules which are there specifically for system with SAP HR component installed. If SAP HR is there then GRC applications will use the functions available in VIRSAHR component for activities. If you do not install them then this can lead to problems. You can refer to SAP Note 1086823 which confirms this.
Regarding the ORG value sync job, you can customize it to not to pick any specific type of data. It will pick all the ORG value related data in your system.

Check the Stype value for all the structures you are using in prorgam RFBIKR00.
since the STYPE = 1 should be only one record,through out the file.
I think in u r case stype = 2 is missing.

Modify repeat_interval for Auto Sync Jobs

Is it "permitted/supported" to modify the repeat_interval for Auto Sync Index jobs created when using the syntax SYNC(EVERY "SYSDATE + 30/86400") which give a repeat interval of 30 seconds
I do not want to have partitions older than a (sysdate-3) days and none greater than "sysdate" to be running. I create new partitions daily and so would like to start/stop partition jobs for the sync window. If I get data outside the window, say 7 days old, then I would run that specific partition sync manually.
Is there a way to define the interval to be a moving window?

There is a Job created for each partition. There is a repeat_interval parameter set for the Job from the SYNC(EVERY ...) The memory and degreel_parallel parameters go into the Job PLSQL definition
If you change the index then the value in the parameters column from user_ind_partitions only has the most recent value (it seems) and eventually it can get confusing.
REPEAT_INTERVAL is a JOB thing and modifying that works just as well **and** keeps the parameters values intact as when the index was created.
Also, I found **and** it could be something in the syntax I had, that if I had loaded data and the job had not kicked in yet, I could not modify the index for any partition. We load data continuously and we have daily*4 partitions (for 5 years). So quite a few partitions and Jobs. Disabling a Job would be much simpler.

PFCG authorization sync job has been running for over a day?

We have installed GRC10 with NWBC and are attempting to run the initial PFCG authorization synchrozniation using transaction GRAC_AUTH_SYNC. It was set to run first followed by the Repository object sync for users, profiles and roles however the initial PFCG authorization synchrozniation is still running over a day later.
There has been no error yet but wanted to check with everyone how long it should take, if there are any known errors and if the process followed in the SAP GUIDE below is correct.
Synchronize PFCG Authorization Data
1. Execute transaction GRAC_AUTH_SYNC.
2. Select a variant (optional) and click Execute.
3. Enter the system connector ID to execute the User Master Data synchronization.
4. Enter the connector language.

Time for running this job depends upon the selected varian/systems and data (SAP Auths/Fields) present in the backend system

User, Role, Profile Synchronization - Full sync job

I've scheduled this job and it's been running since feb 2. I understand that this job brings only the header data into CC tables. When I look at the CC log file.- It says Delete user XXXX from all tables. I checked the userid in the backend system it actually does not exist.

Change Vendor Name in SRM

Can any one tell me how to change the Vendor Name in SRM which is getting replicated from ECC where the name has been change to the new vendor. The new Vendor name is not coming over in the replication from ECC (5.0). Reason for vendor change is that the old vendor was purchased by another vendor.

Our common reasons for Vendors not transferring from ERP to SRM using TCode BBPUPDVD or BBPGETVD are.
1. Vendor does not exist in ERP
2. Vendors email address is faulty
As stated previously SLG1 log usually reveal the problem.
We also have a problem with the scheduled Vendor Sync job that runs each night failing to import new vendors, even though the spro config has been set to include new vendors.
I suspect that the Vendor Sync job my be stopping as soon as it finds a faulty email address and we do have a few hundred of these lurking in our ERP system. I plan to investigate, when I get time, but if anyone else has this problem I would like to here of your experiences?

once in a moon vendor replication wont happen for certain new vendor so we edit xk02 and next vendor sync job it will be available in SRM but this time i hammered a vendor many times still not pulled into SRM . other new vendors created fine.
any restriction stopped you any clue is appreciated.

When i am running the MDS_LOD_COCKPIt. It is showing me Error Message as BP number Already Exist.
