Verizon cancelled my order still haven't refunded my money!

So ordered the iPhone 5s back in september. Long story short they ended up canceling my order but look payment on october 6. Verizon cancelled the order on October 22. Never told me until I called to see what was going on and I was told it was cancelled and asked if I want to reorder it. I said no just refund my payment and Ill buy it when it is available in store.. It is now November 18 and still haven't refunded my money! Just thought you people should know how horrible Verizon has been during this iPhone 5s ridiculousness.

Just call the credit card company and do a charge back for the amount verizon owes you.
Just that simple.

    I would wait like a week or so after you cancelled but after that you should call their customer service and see what's going on on their end of the transaction.

    Did he say where it had been refunded to e.g. your iTunes account or was the purchase made on a credit card and it's been refunded to that ? And have you tried logging out of your account and then back in to see if it then shows on your account ? If it hasn't appeared within, say, 24 hours, then you could try contacting iTunes Support again, referring to your case number (if you have one) and/or the conversation

    Tried to buy a $500 vacuum from Best Buy online in Jan 2014… delivery was promised no later than 2-3-14.  UPS lost, broke, or did whatever to the vacuum, but failed to deliver it to me and have acknowledged to Best Buy the vacuum never left their Ontario where house! Best Buy still refuses to refund my money or ship me a new vacuum!  What ever happen to customer service at Best Buy?  I just want my freaking money back so I can buy a vacuum somewhere else.  I worked hard for my money & entered into a contract in good faith with Best Buy… they have failed to honor the contract, give me my money back! Don’t order anything from this company! They will steal your money, like they have mine! Their idea of customer service is to put you off two weeks at a time!  I spoke with an “escalations agent” who refused to allow me to speak to her supervisor and hung up on me!  This is why I am so furious with this company! You cannot treat customers like this!  If I owed you money you would charge me interest! If I ever get my money back do you think they will give me any interest for tying up my money?  Give me my freakin money back!  I am not asking for anything extra! You have far lost me and my family/friends as a customer.  Just give my money back!  I am a treasurer for a very large labor association you can bet I am sharing with anyone who will listen to how Best Buy treats their customers!

    I am very sorry for any inconvenience you have endured while trying to order a vacuum on BestBuy.com, which is intended to be an easy experience for our customers.  It is understandable why you may feel frustrated at this point, especially if you ordered the vacuum in January.  Unless the vacuum is on an extended backorder, it should not take this long for an order to be shipped and delivered.  This is not the level of customer service that Best Buy strives to provide.
    It might seem easy enough to just ship another vacuum or issue a refund, but there are processes we must follow when it is reported that a product has not been delivered.  Those processes allow us to determine exactly what happened and then decide what course of action to take.  We may need to speak with UPS or the warehouse where the order was shipped from before a decision is made, which may take some time, but we obviously do not want you to have to wait any longer than you should.  If it is determined that the order never left the warehouse, then I would think we should be able to reship the order or issue a refund.

  • Verizon canceled my iPhone 6 Plus order, suddenly says I'm ineligible for Early Edge

    I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus on 9/19 (and also a second iPhone and new line for my wife). The expected ship date was this week. I checked on the status yesterday only to discover it was canceled. Needless to say, I was upset and called to find out why. The salesperson told me I was ineligible for Early edge. This is after two separate Verizon employees said I was eligible (one in a Verizon store a week before I ordered it and the salesperson I placed the phone order with). How is this even possible?
    After a long wait as she discussed my situation with the supervisor, I was told they would honor the Early Edge but would have to reorder and it could be another month before I get my phone. They expected me to be happy about it because they were doing me some big favor. I was still angry but agreed to reorder.
    After I hung up, though, I realized this is completely unacceptable. I've already waited a month and a half, there is no way I'm going to the back of the line again and waiting another month. I called back today and canceled my order. I will be paying the early cancellation fee and switching to AT&T as soon as possible. After this experience, I can no longer remain a Verizon customer.

    AT&T has the program where they will pay off your fees if you join them right? Or is that Sprint?

    Well, of course you can't find how to do this. As apps are generally non-refundable. You buy them, and it's yours now.
    But you can check with iTS and may get lucky if you haven't abused anything.

  • I preordered at midnight, 9/20, and I still haven't received my two orders of iphone 5s!! What

    I stayed up late to PRE-order a 16gb iphone 5s gold and a 32gb iphone 5s black.  I received an email confirmation that the phone would ship by 9/24.  Today is 9/26 and I still haven't received my phone nor an email with a tracking number.  What gives, Verizon?  Where is my phone?!

  • Still haven't got my order confirmation email...

    It's been 36 hours since I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 and still haven't received my confirmation email. Anyone else having the same problem?

    I spoke to a verizon representative today, and they sent me a text with order number and confirmation number, and Deliver by 09/21/12. Call them on monday. We spoke for about 5 min, I think  they spoke longer than they should have. They are very tired from taking so many orders. . As long as you have your order # and conformation #. It has to say 9/21/12. They also know when you put the order in by your verizon #. If it says 9/21/12 you beat the rush hour, those were the exact words. They stated you will receive an email, and tracking number when it ships next week. I hope this helps everone.

At the time, the Mobile rep added the Geek Squad plan of $7.99/mo to the purchase saying if I didn't want it, I could cancel within 30 days and get a full refund. After thinking about it, I called the Geek Squad number 888-237-8289 on 10/10/14 and canceled the plan. The Geek Squad rep Lou said my mastercard would be refunded and gave me a confirmation number. 
    After a few months of not seeing the refund to my credit card, I called Geek Squad again on 1/28/15 and spoke to Alyssa. She confirmed that the Geek Squad was canceled in October and a refund would be on its way within 2-3 additional billing cycles. She also gave me a new confirmation number. 
    Well I have checked each of my Mastercard statements since September and still haven't seen the refund. Please let me know how I can get my refund issued to my credit card as promised.
    I have a copy of the original Best Buy receipt with the plan added and can provide original geek squad protection number, IMEI number, my phone number and both Geek Squad call-in confirmation numbers via PM.  The email used in this forum is the same email linked to my Best Buy account and phone number of the phone I added the protection plan to.

    We saw your story and are very worried about what we read! This isn't like us at all and we are here to help sort it all out. We recommend calling the Rebate Center to check on the status. Their number is 1-800-457-0864.
    We can help you right here with your phone! How often does it turn off? Is it just that the screen goes black or does it completely power down? Also, does it start back up by itself if it does power down?

  • Verizon admits error in cancelling my order and offers no restitution

    I ordered an iPhone 5 and Verizon admits that my order was automatically cancelled by mistake.  I asked a Verizon representative, "who cancelled the order and why?"  The Representative claimed no explanation was given for the Cancellation.  According to the Representative, my order was simply cancelled by the Verizon ordering system and not directly by a person.  
    Instead of offering to reactivate my cancelled order, the Representative offered to create a new order and have me wait another month for iPhone 5 delivery.  I explained to the Representative that reordering will be extremely inconvenient because I will out of the country.  The Representative will contact her manager, but she already knows from past experience that her manager will not do anything to help me.  
    Verizon is now charging me for an iPhone 5 plan except without an iPhone 5.  Verizon profits from their mistakes and offers no restitution, except to say they are "sorry for the inconvenience."  If I thought other cell-phone carriers treat their customer with more respect than Verizon, I would switch to another carrier, but I have my doubts about other carriers. 
    I am considering just living without the expense and inconvenience of an iPhone plan.  I am disgusted with the way Verizon treats their customers.  Their attitude is their problem is your responsibility so just live with it.

    What do you mean by an 'iPhone 5 plan"?  When you placed your order, were you upgrading from a basic phone?
