I created Warranty Product Batteries then I maintained in Car Product in that Car product in Relationships tab In Warranty Tab I maintained Batteries
After some time That Batteries Products is not working properly so any why Batteries Product in Warranty
So i what give back to company
In the Warranty Transaction I maintained That Car Products but where should we seen that Batteries Warranty Products wither it in Warranty period or not
Please give me right salutation to me

    I'm not writing a program to do this so won't be able to use function modules, so I'd be grateful it you could tell me which tables i need in order for me to get the information i need.

    Hi all,
    Can we get the table where for a given material product type, we can get related warranty product type.
    Requirement is , we have to link the warranty products to related material product.We need to create a seperate table  for material(with ibase) and its related some warranty products.
    Suggest me what are the possibilities and process for doing in best way.

  • CRM warranty products and related pricing

    Dear Experts,
    CRM 5.0
    In our landscape, ECC is the leading system for product configuration and master data creation which then replicates into CRM. Now for a new business process we are planning to introduce warranties in CRM. I am aware of the standalone config for creating warranties in CRM but should the warranty products also be configured and created in ECC or can I go ahead and create them in CRM as we don't need the warranties to show in ECC.
    Similarly, for pricing configuration, the leading system is ECC but we need to insert the pricing condition 1308 in CRM into the pricing procedure as it helps in warranty determination.
    Could someone please advise how to achieve these?

    I am also facing the same issue where materials are created in ECC system and then the same need to be replicated to CRM, since I need to create the warranty products manually in CRM server, how do I link my ECC material and my warranty material created in CRM? Could you please advice with the help of examples and the transaction codes that you need to use,

  • Under Warranty - Products Not as Described in Desciption When Purchases

    I bought a portable cam recorder for my helmet.  After one ride, I tried to download with the USB calbe provided, however it is not a recognizable device so I feel the product was not as advertised.  I have tried to download to both a Mac and a regular Windows computer, neither recognize the device. Also I purchased extra memory described as additional memory card for the camera, however it is not the same size as the one in the camera so also not as I purchased by the advertisement.  Sent email to customer service email provided by seller.  The camera says it has a year warranty.  Doesn't seem right to have to use warranty if it is not an item as advertised both the camera and also the memory card.

    It IS Verizon who is helping you out, but it ISN'T Verizon's warranty. It is Samsung's warranty. Verizon simply acts as a middle man to facilitate the warranty so you are not without a phone while obtaining warranty service.
    If you are unhappy with how Verizon is "helping" you out with Samsung's warranty, simply contact Samsung about the warranty on THEIR phone. Then you would have to send the phone into Samsung, have them determine if it is a covered warranty issue and then either fix your phone OR send you a refurbished one just like the one you got from Verizon. Of course, then you would be without a phone for a couple of weeks or so while you are waiting for your phone/replacement to be returned. In the end, you would still be in the possession of a refurbished device.
    No cellular provider warranties phones. It is always the phone manufacturer which provides the warranty and who is responsible for it.
    If you purchase a Verizon phone from Best Buy/Amazon/etc... it is STILL the manufacturer who warranties it, not Verizon/Best Buy/Amazon/etc...
    Furthermore, the warranty IS as it seems. This is ALL spelled out on the box your phone came in. There is nothing written there which would lead you to believe you will receive a NEW phone as a warranty replacement.

  • Can We sell product type Warranty in the Webshop??

    Business requirement is to sell Warranty products (product type: Warranty) in web shop. ie Extended warranty product.
    As per my knowledge, webshop supports the sales of product type Material and Services.
    How can we address this??

    Hi Srini,
    You are right. CRM ISA webshop supports sales and service products in the same product catalog. But you can't combine sales and service products on the same order. In other words you can't create a sales order with service products from webshop.

  • Hardware issues on iPhone that would qualify for a free replacement under the warranty, however I recently accidentally damaged the digitizer and now need to pay £177 to get it repaired just for them to send me a replacement phone anyway!

    Okay here is my problem: I bought an iPhone 5c about two months ago, and recently knocked it in my pocket and damaged the digitiser – although not the glass, but it is currently unusable. However before that it started really playing up.
    Primarily, it stopped being able to tell the time – which does not sound like a big issue, but is in fact a real pain as it throws out all my real-time apps, as well as making all my messages come through completely out of sync with each other. The time just seems to have slowed down, no matter if it is on ‘Set Time Automatically’ or ‘Set Time Manually’ – in half an hour it normally only forwards two or three minutes. Then the Bluetooth would not work, and then the same with the wifi – they just sat there with the turning on icon staying on and not changing. The next thing that happened was that my messages that I’d sent to people would occasionally send to other contacts over imessage completely randomly without me doing anything!
    I know these are hardware issues and covered by Apple’s warranty, and they would replace my iPhone if those were the only problems, but as the digitiser is cracked I have to pay £177 pounds before they will even look at it to replace the glass, and that is just so I can send it off again afterwards for them just to give me a fresh phone anyway!
    It is also not an option to do a self repair or go to a phone doctor as both of these will use non-apple parts, and void my warranty.
    I really am stuck as I don’t have that kind of money for a repair at the moment, and still feel like it would be a complete waste of time for a phone that is currently not working anyway that they would just replace. Is there anything I can do?

  • What is the warranty on an iPad Smart Cover purchased in India?

    I purchased a smart cover along with the new iPad in India from an Apple Authorized reseller. I was wondering what is the warranty offered for genuine Apple accessories purchased from an Apple Authorized reseller in India, in particular the Smart Cover. There should be a simple "Yes or No" answer to this question.

    King is nearly absolutely right. When you restore your iPhone in iTunes (Restore iPhone), new software is downloaded and installed on your iPad. However, if you "Erase All Content and Settings," this simply does what it says. It removes whatever you have on your iPad and wipes it allowing you to start fresh.

    In regards to your device not being recognized by iTunes, King hit the money. The article he linked will absolutely resolve that issue providing the issue isn't with your computer's hardware or software and isn't related to Apple's products in any way.

  • Warranty id not getting determined based on the warranty counter

    We are trying to determine the warranty id from the counter reading.
    Scenario:
    We are confirming the vehicle and the business partner and create a service order . We are entering the reading in the service order and want to get the warranty product determined based on the counter reading.
    First free service at counter reading of 5000 kms
    Second free service at counter reading of 10,000 kms
    We have followed the following steps:
    1. Warranty product with Warranty basis as Counter dependant and Warranty counter data with the value.
    2. For the Vehicle object in relationships we have assigned a counter id.
    However we are unable to determine the warranty id
    Is there something that we are missing. Would really appreciate a solution.

    Firstly, whlich version of SAP CRM you are working on?
    If it is CRM 5.0
    Apply Note 1009244 - 'Counter attribute' field missing in CRM 5.0.
    This note will get the counter attribute field in the Counter creation screen.
    Check these steps again:
    1.  Create a counter warranty. Ensure nothing is excluded.
    2. Create a counter  and assign it prouct master or installed base component.
    3. If you have assigned it to a product master, in the service transaction enter the reference data as well.
        Ensure that warranty check profile has been assigned
    4. Once you enter a service product your warranty must get determined.
    5. If not, check the log in the warranty tab, it shall give u the details.

    I have replicated Equipments from PM to Individual Objects in CRM, i am trying to get the customer warranty Start and End date updated at individual objects from equipments at Iq03,
    please suggest the steps both ways possible through standard and technical.
    I have created warranty products in CRM when i am trying to add warranty product manualy to the ibase at individual objects i am getting an error
    Relationship type IOBWTY for source object type BUS1178 cannot be maintained

    Hi Nikhil,
    Though not for the exact error message but I would advise you to check the below SAP KBA:
    1899474 - Relationship type &1 for source object type &2 cannot be maintained (message number COM_IL015)
    Or, you may try to debug out where the error is getting raised in the manual process of warranty addition.

    II'm having a problem in maintaining products in CRM.
    If i create a material(say laptop) and i want to give service to that saying monthly service and I also want to give warranty for 1 yr.
    then should i create-
    1)a product type MATERIAL(laptop)
    2)product type SERVICE(monthly service)
    3)product type WARRANTY(1 yr warranty)
    and then assign these service and warranty products in the relationships tab of the material(laptop).
    Is this the way of creating products in CRM?

    I've a  question- If I try to create a material with category MAT_FERT, then why does it let me enter few more category IDs in the GENERAL tab and Product Categories field.
    I've 1 last stupid question guys- Correct me if I'm wrong---In the Sales Order, if I put in the Sold-to-Party as some XYZ with Sales org 3000, Distr Ch 01, then I tried to assign a product in the sales order but it gave me an error. I think the product I want to put in the sales order should be having the same Sales Area data of the Sold-to-Party XYZ in the Sales and Distribution tab(Path is Master data->Products->Maintain Products) .
