WCS and AL getting started
I have WCS 5.X running with trial license until our we receive our purchased license. Our 2710 AL came in and I have it up and running and known to WCS. I have a couple getting started questions.
Not sure what the https enable is for on the AL? I did a google earth map of our campus. Started to try and place buildings on the map. Once you place a building can you move or edit its size or location. Didn't see a way.
What general steps should I be taking to putting all this together with the WCS and AL? I'm getting floor plans for each building from our physical plant department. Do they sized or edited? I have placed a few APs on each map. Can the AL help in locating the APs on the maps. General stuff to start getting the most out of the software. Been reading what docs I have found.

You can update the location appliance using the WCS server or manually download the software using a console port connected to the location appliance.

I'm new to Photoshop Elements and just getting started. While in the organizer I have one group of photos up to learn with and now it says Edit in Progress with a padlock icon. How can I remove this so that the photos will be restored to normal?
Go back to the editor and close the photo there.

My iphone 4s automatically getting turned off (blank black screen) and not getting started until full battery discharge. Even on long pressing power button - screen doesn't showing anything - not even "needs charging logo".

After upgrading to 8.0 from 7.0.1 every time I start FF I get the add-on compatibility tool to run and the Getting Started web page loads along with my homepage in separate tabs as well. So far I have tried running the installer again, disabling all add-0ns and custom settings and restarting and turning off automatic updates. Nothing worked there. I got the same behavior each time. I don't know what else to try other than a full uninstall and reinstall. Something I'd like to avoid if it's possible because of the time involved. This is the second time I have posted regarding this issue. The first time I didn't get a response. A solution or a possible workaround would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows of any. As a staff member and a global forum moderator for an anti-virus company I understand how hectic things can be at times but some feedback, good or bad, on this issue would be very welcomed! Hi michaell, thanks for the reply. I tried everything in the Preferences are not saved link you provided and nothing worked there. If creating a new profile will delete all my add-ons and custom settings I might as well just do a complete uninstall and reinstall. That actually would be easier. That article told me how to save my bookmarks though so I don't have to loose those which is nice. I don't know if this makes any difference but there is a discrepancy between the preference file in the article which is: prefs.js and what's showing on my PC which is: prefs with no .js suffix. I tried to rename the file to prefs.js and restarted. No luck there either. It just created another prefs file. I guess we've pretty much exhausted all the avenues to try! I would suggest to do a clean reload of the device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320, please test before restoring any backup data to the device.

Getting this error message after installing and clicking getting started
I have been getting this error message when i click the Getting Started option for oracle
"Windows cannot find 'http://127.0.0.1:%HTTPPORT%/apex/f?p=4950'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
any ideas on what to do about this?Obvious thing to do is to correct Get_Started url shortcut.

i am attempting to start up a tutorial at home.
the check list that i do have are.
mx server
homesite
database software.
i amanged to download the mx but it asked me about the web
apache or just its own on a radio button option.
can i run cf with out apache?
i have just chose to configure its own mx server. problem it

1) You don't need to install Apache, IIS or any other web
server. Let Coldfusion use its own built-in web server. It is
actually quite good and, when you're only just beginning, it is
probably the ideal solution. If necessary, you could always install
Apache or IIS later, without having to re-install Coldfusion.
2) Some developers do Coldfusion on Notepad. It's mostly a
question of skill level and convenience, rather than of need. To
obtain Homesite or Dreamweaver, go to
the download
page of this web site. I prefer Homesite, for being simpler.
They are not free. However,
Eclipse
is. In fact, I would recommend it as a good habit to have right
from the beginning.

Phone went off and not getting start

Does it really matter? Take it to Apple for evaluation. They will tell you what the problem is.

This actually started before I downloaded the update. I figured it to be a way to force one to download the update. After installing the update, I am still being forced to close the extra tab and cancel its scan for compatibility.
Apparently, I am only one with this problem? Some help is needed please.

In troubleshooting a different issue I uninstalled Firefox. After fixing the other issue I'm tying to re-install Firefox and am getting an error message that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application." The title bar of the window says "setup-stub.exe - Application Error." My PC is a Dell Studio 19 All-in-one running Windows 7 Home Premium.
When I look up that error on Microsoft's forums, I find suggestions ranging from an incompatible update/hotfix to malware...

My macbook is getting the question mark folder and also my start up disks are gone
A few weeks back I turned on my macbook and discovered that it cannot boot up anymore. There was absolutely no precedent to this. I didn't drop it (I've dropped it many times in the past if that matters, and may have placed it down on my desk a little to aggressively the night before), and I had no problem using my computer right before going to bed. I just closed it went to sleep and the next morning my computer was malfunctioning. Whenever I turn it on the computer is stuck at a grey screen with a blinking picture of a folder with a question mark on it. I thought my computer was a lost cause and I bought a new one, but now I am in desperate need of recovering my lost files on my old computer which I still have.
So I go to the internet for help, with my goal being to just fix my old macbook or at least salvage the data, and read that the thing to do is press command+R when the computer boots up and fire up internet recovery, then go to disk utility and fix the drive/disc/whatever from there. So I press command+R at start up, and I get past the loading screen with the globe and go to a menu giving me the options of disk utility, time machine, reinstallation, and looking on mac forums for help. I click on disk utility and my mac os x disc does not appear to be on the left hand side. There is one disk under a disk that says Disk1 that says MAC OS X BASE SYSTEM or something to that effect on it, but if you click on its info it says that that particular disc has a total capacity of only 1.39 GB, so that can't be it, right? Also when I click on it it doesn't give me the option to verify or repair it. There's another disk at the very top of the left hand side that says 4.14 GB ST_M13FQ8L M... but it also has a low total capacity.
After I find no help in disk utility I decide to take a different route and see if I have any time machine back ups and it asks me to select the disk that contains the backup I want to restore, but the list that is shown is empty. I don't remember ever setting up a time machine back up so this doesn't surprise me.
So I move on to another solution- to try and reinstall MAC OS X Lion and it takes me to a window where it asks me to select the disc where I want to install MAC OS X Lion, but the the little white box under the message that is supposed to show a list or something of the available selections/discs is completely empty. So I have no start up discs?
Then I click shut down on the upper left hand corner of the screen to turn of my computer and another window appears asking me to select the system i want to use to start up my computer but that box is also completely empty.
I don't know what to do this at this point, and I don't know how to interpret the situation either, even after researching the issue on the internet. Does this mean that my harddrive/disc or whatever is completely gone/broken? And more importantly does this mean that all of my data is gone forever? Or is the system or computer itself broken or something like that, but my hard drive is intact? Now that I have a new computer all I really need is to somehow transfer the data from my broken computer to my new one, and don't really need to "fix" my computer- but if fixing it is the only means to see my data again that's what I want to do. And also can I fix this manually by myself, or does this require professionals. And if i do need to hire someone, how much will this typically cost? Thanks!
Some other facts: The macbook in question (the broken one) is an aluminum 13 inch macbook pro from I think 2012, maybe 2011, and used to run on Mavericks. I also used to have windows bootcamp on it but i rarely used it. The macbook has been having some problems for a while and recently started to slowly break down. The USB ports stopped working completely, all of its apps were slow and glitched a lot, the battery in it was nearly dead (it said REPLACE SOON where the battery symbol used to be on the upper right hand corner of the screen), but it still worked at a base level and I used it for work and stuff, up until this point of course.This document should give you some leads as to what to do.

This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall i Tunes." I tried reinstalling and still get the same message. when I ran the i Tunes diagnostics is says that the high and low filters are missing.
when i was having trouble with my optical drive(before Dell sent me a new one) the dell tech support representative had me delete some reg. files to try to fix the problem. I was told this would not affect the new drive when i install it or any of my existing programs. here is what he had me do....

how can i get this message box to stop poping up every time i open i tunes? otherwise i tunes works fine. it still rips cd's. I just keep getting this message even after reinstalling i tines.

Regarding Facetime on my Ipad. I get started on a call and after 10 or 15 minutes I cannot hear whom I am talking to. They can still hear me and I still have picture on the screen but my sound stops working.
Why can't we use Acrobat Pro for mobile devices? Save a whole lot of headaches!!! Now I have to return this subscription.
