What the security deposit APPLIED?

I have been used Family Plan with my brother.
And we stopped the Verizon Service during last 3 months cuz we went our hometown country.
And then, we back, now, I checked my bill history, there is "Security deposit Applied".
We don't have social numbers so we had to pay the security service fee each $400 at last year June.
And one year laster, June this year, we could back Security deposit. but where they gone?
for check? for my bank account? where? I couldn't get the deposit and my brother too!
And what is the A/P credit return?
I attached the photo of my bill.

    Jsueh2,
This is something I would be wondering about too and we'd be happy to answer it for you. Although I do not have all the details since I'm not able to access your account I can give you some helpful general information. A security deposit is applied to an account when the account is no longer in good standing and has a past due balance that needs to be paid. A/P Credit Return means that after the deposit was applied there was a credit balance of $292.73 remaining, which we will send to you in a check. Is this account closed at this time?

  • How to refund the security deposit?

When I was setting up a new line I needed to pay $125 for the security deposit. The sales people told me it would be refunded after 6 months of use in form of credit in the billing cycle. But after 7 billing cycles, I still havent got any and still need to pay the bill out of my pocket. Is this done automatic or we have to fight for the refund,?! I am disappointed.

  • Security deposit refund returned or applied to account?

Long story short when I signed up with Verizon I was asked to pay a $400 deposit.  I paid $300.00 using a Verizon gift card, and $100 using my CC.  On 2/22/15 makes one year I have been with Verizon.  I logged on now to my account to pay my bill but it says Paid In Full.  I go to my payment activity, it says "A/P security refund -$380.00" then it says "security deposit applied $400" then it says "security deposit interest $1.27" .  I am EXTREMELY confused, was the difference mailed to me or the entire deposit applied to my account? I called Verizon and the first rep I had transferred me to "home services"- no idea why then I was transferred to the financial department but somehow ended up at the main telephone prompt starting all over again. I am extremely frustrated.  Can someone help?

You're eligible to receive your security deposit back at the end of 1 year of uninterrupted service or upon termination of your service. Uninterrupted service means you have kept your account in good standing and paid your bill in a timely manner for one year.
Your security deposit will be refunded in the form of a credit to your account. If the applied refund creates a credit, and you don't owe any other amounts to Verizon Wireless, you will receive a check for that credit balance.

  • Calculate interest on Security Deposit at the time of invoice?

    Dear All,
I have a requirement of calculating interest at the time of invoicing.
I did the following configuration in spro:
SAP Utilities ->Invoicing->Invoice Processing->Define Control for additional invoicing functions
I clicked at the Int:Cash Security Deposit button.
But when I execute transaction EA10 (Creating invoice) , interest is not calculated on the security deposit.
All the configuration w.r.t interest calculation is correct.
Please let me know if anybody has any solution to this.
    Warm regards,
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
To calculate interest on any line item, we have to assign a interest key to it.
Take the FICA document created for Security Deposit and open it into FPE2 and goto change document:Item and then click on Tab Dunn. Data. Provide the interest key over here and then RUN your invoicing.

  • Security deposit deduction in the invoice

    Dear All,
My client want to deduct the security deposit in the invoice and the deducted amount has to be shown as open iitem in the
vendor open items with special G/L indicator.
please guide me on this issue.
    Thanks & Regards
    KANNI CHOWDARY

    Hi,
You can create a special GL indicator for that and can then make transfer posting from vendor normal balance to vendor special GL indicator using transaction F-51

  • What happened to the security button to initiate actions to clear history, delete cookies etc?

Security button to initiate actions to clear history, delete cookies etc was always at the top of the firefox window, but had disappeared when I opened firefix today. It was very convenient and useful, so would like to know what's happened to it?

It was just a plain looking button marked security; don't know if it was added by an extension as it was always there. Clearing the recent history is just one action the security button performed, along with deleting cookies and a number of other security related deletions. So, just being able to clear recent history is only a small part of what the security button would do for me, with just 2 clicks, so much faster and easier.

  • How To stop the Security Deposited Calculation at the time of move out.

    Hi Guys,
I am working on this issue from last week still unable to stop the calculation of SD in Final bill at the time of Move out, i have blocked the main and sub transaction, any help will be appreciated as early as possible, this issue has to be solved on weekend.
    Regards
    K. Shilpa

    Hi Shilpa,
First thing I will say that if you reverse an actual payment from customer's account, there are many impacts on the customer side and on SAP side. I think you have already taken care all these things.
Now for the first point if you want the open SD will not appear in the print document, you can do it by reversing the security deposit or by invoicing printing configuration. For the first option you can go to change security deposit (FPSEC2) and reverse it. To do this all the SD documents should be in open status.
For the second option you can go to the following menu path:
    SPRO-SAP Utilities-Invoicing-Invoice Processing-Item Selection in Invoicing-Item Selection in Account Maintenance/ Define Sub-Items
In the above menu path for clearing type R4 (Invoicing) and periodic billing (R41),  you can control the items which will be printed in the invoice. Select the clearing type and click on the 'Item selection on bill print out' on the left hand side. For the clearing category (maintained at contract account level) you can maintain the main and sub transaction of security deposit (might be 0020 / 0020) and you can see a field 'IP' (Item Will Be Printed on the Bill) where you should maintain it blank. If you do that, security deposit will not be picked up in the invoice document. However it will remain open in the account if you just stop the printing of SD and keep it in the account.
However it totally depnds on the business requirement and related implications whether you want to reverse the SD or you want to keep this in account and do not want to show them on the bill.
Now for the second point you have mentioned, you need to first decide what you will do with the SD payments made by customer.
Either you can release the SD amount and refund it to customer or the amount can be adjusted with the next invoice. Again it depends on business requirement whether you will refund any payment made against SD or you will simply reverse all open security deposits.
Also if you want to stop the SD creation process now onwards, you need to revert all SD configuration like main / sub transaction configuration for SD, default SD releted settings etc. There is no standard process for it. If you want to reverse the SD, you can write a custom program. The configuration related things need to be done manually.
Since all the things will impact the business process or customer, I hope you will take care those things before coming to a conclusion.
    Thanks.

  • Security deposit - Setting restriction automatically after payment

    Hello,
After Iu2019ve created a security deposit (FPSEC1) and paid it for example with the cash desk. What I understand is that before you can release the security deposit you first have to u201Clocku201D the deposit using FPSEC2. This sets the restriction (DFKKOP-AUGST) to 2.
Is there a way to set this restriction automatically so you donu2019t first have to go back to the FPSEC2 to set the lock. Or with a batch program oru2026u2026
Could you please help me out here??
    Thanks a lot,
    Lukas Molenaar

    Lukas:
It is not clear what you are looking for.  Standard functionality exists as follows:  A deposit is created - the payment of the deposit automatically restricts the payment with value '2'.  THis prevents the payment from being used to clear other receivables. This restriction is in place until the deposit is released.  There is standard release functionality with ISU when the customer moves out, or when the customer has met certain good payment requirements.  Those do not require any user interaction.  Additionally, user can access the security deposit in change mode (FPSEC2) and release it manually.
After release by any technique, the restriction is removed from the payment document which enables it to clear open recievables OR to be paid back to the customer.
    regards,
    bill.

  • Security Deposit Refund after one year

I have paid every phone bill for the past 11 months and I am wondering when I am eligible to have my security deposit returned. I have had no luck with other inquiries I have made regarding this deposit in the past.

        Hi Brandon,
I appreciate your inquiry about the security deposit. In order to be eligible to receive a security deposit refund in full, the account must meet several criteria:
      • 350 days of active service (the 350 days begins from the point of activation, not from the time the security deposit is applied to the account).
      • No suspensions due to non-payment.
      • 12 consecutive months of timely, uninterrupted service.
      • No payments returned from bank
Account balance current (no more than 30 days past due).
      • No related account delinquent or written off requiring payment.
If the account remains active after one year of service, the security deposit will be automatically refunded within 1 - 2 billing cycles.

  • Security Deposit from Vendor

Hi Experts - We have a program where the vendors sign-up promising to deliver according to a specific delivery schedule and quantity. We need to take a security deposit from the vendors, this will be returned after they have fulfilled their obligation.
Any input on how to do the security deposit / subsequent refund payment  will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sam.

    Hi Sam,
we had this scenario and the solution what we concluded is
via an new special GL indicator to carry this deposit and then
knock it later. Its really a process so you have to decide upon
    after discussing with the user.

  • Security deposit towards bill?

I had to put $400 forward as a security deposit when I bought my phone and plan. Currently, I've run into a bit of a financial hardship, and while I don't want to terminate, is it possible to put that security deposit towards my bill?

        @chrisrvin
I do understand the need to save when caught in a financial hardship!  The security deposit is held during the first year of service, and is reviewed for release at the end of the first year.  It cannot be applied to the account as a payment.  However, we can look into other cost saving options for you.
Have you had a chance to run an Account Analysis http://bit.ly/17qD2sj on My Verizon to see where you may be able to save?  Also, if your account is past due, you can reach out to our Customer Financial Service Team for possible payment arrangements.  They can be reached at (Toll Free) 866-266-1445.  I don't want you to have to resort to terminating your service!

  • Return of Security Deposit

When a security deposit is returned due to move-out, in FPL9, the return increases the amount of the manual payment that cleared the security deposit by the cleared SD amount or creates an automatic clearing item for non-manual payment clearings in the amount of the cleared SD.  We were told this is "standard" but to me, this does not seem correct. Below is just one example of what displays.  During a customer move-out, what is standard practice and how should the security deposit return appear in FPL9?  Thank you!

As per Standard practise SD  will be released from Downpaymnet on Final invoice and moved to transfter posting item under 250/10 main /SUb transaction.
