Why does the airport say there is no airport card installed?

I have had my MacBook Pro for 4 years now and have never had an issue. I turned my laptop on the other day and all of a sudden I can no longer connect to wifi and the airport button just says there is no airport card installed?

The usual reason is that the Airport card has failed and will need to be replaced.

    Then something is wrong with the new iPhone 4. Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store of there is one nearby.

    I have an unlocked iPhone3GS that I used in Thailand for 2 years with a Thai SIM card. Now I am back in the USA and I got a AT&T SIM card without a contract. I wanted to update to the newer version of iOS so I contacted AT&T and had them do an authorized iPhone unlock. I backed up my iPhone and then restored it in iTunes. After restarting the phone iTunes told me there was no SIM card installed in the device. I've taken the AT&T SIM card out and put it back in but nothing changes.

    The iPhone was jailbroken before I went to Thailand. I never had a contract in Thailand ethier. The phone was working fine on my new AT&T SIM card for 2 weeks until I went to restore and update the iOS.
    I also tried to use WIFI to activate the device instead of iTunes. After a few minutes of trying that a mesage tells me that Apple can't activate it and to try use iTunes or contact Apple support.

    That's something you really should take up with the technical support resources of the manufacturer of the printer. There's no way anyone here could guess without details, and it's definitely not an iPad issue.

    ok guys i have done my fair share of reading and i am so lost. on my box it says i have a 16 gig iphone 4 verizon white. my question is everytime i plug my phone in it pops up with a little tiny AutoRun icon and i hit open files. well it shows that i have 13.4gb of 26.2gb. but in iTunes it only shows my phone with 13.4 with 12 available for apps and music. why is it that my phone realy has 26 gigs and i can only access half of that?
    Is my phone realy using 13gb just for software? that is way to much for me. any body else see this, what about any fixs or what not?

    There's no way a 16GB model phone has more than than capacity.  I have no idea what you mean by AutoRun icon.  Is that an app you downloaded?  Did you jailbreak?
    The "advertised" capacity of all storage devices is based on a decimal definition of "Gigabytes" where 1 GB is defined as 1,000,000,000 bytes.  However computers see and calculate storage based on binary definitions where 1 GB = 1,073 742,824 bytes.  Thus a 16 GB "decimal" device is only 14.9 real, binary gigabytes.
    Also, there are additional loses due to formatting overhead and the iOS.  RAM memory is separate and not used from the supplied flash disk.

    Did you actually read the message you got?  It doesn't say anything about redownloading; it says to launch (open) the Adobe Reader application and accept the EULA.

I have recently not been able to log into the app for the past 3 months, everytime i try to re-register or log in it says i dont have a tmobile number... My number hasnt changed since i have had the phone. i can no longer view my account or how much usage i have left of my monthly contrract...

    Sorry to hear you are having a problem.
    Have you tried logging in on a PC or Laptop rather than via the App? If you try Clicking the forgotten password link when logging in to My Account does this resolve the issue?

    Change your router channel number.  Most times this works & is all you have to do.

    I just downloaded a new version, again, due to upgrade to a larger HDD, and the new installer does have Apple name identified.
    So try it again.

    What is the problem with your sim tray? If you tried to get your sim out using something and accidentally scratched the sim chip, your sim chip is broken and it is not free to fix. On the other hand if other sims work, you can call AT&T and ask for assistance from them.

    Plug headphone connector in and out jack several times. See if that helps. Blow jack out again. See if that helps. Try to clean the jack. See if that helps.

    I have a  HP G62-339WM Notebook PC.  I have tried trouble shooting it several times, and it tells me that there are several different printers that are installed but not enabled, and wants me to enable them.  I have never had these printers installed, and would like them gone.  What can I do?
    I have been having problems lately with total system lockups and constantly getting disconnected from my wireless network.  I am getting really frustrated!

    Uninstall the printers. RIght click the icon and choose remove device. Sometimes if you visit a place that has shared network printers Windows 7 will install them. They stay in the devices and printers folder but are just inactive. It is one of the good and bad things about Windows 7.Orphan printers should not cause you any problems though.
    I think the system lockups and wifi disconnects are another problem altogether. You should try a couple simple system repair routines...in the run box type cmd and right click the command prompt icon and choose run as administrator. Type chkdsk C: /r and hit return. Tell it you want to do a file system check on reboot and then reboot and let that run all the way through. Now do the command prompt thing again...run as administrator and type sfc /scannow. This should run in place and checks system files and repairs anything out of whack. Tell us what you find out. What are you using for antivirus and spyware protection?
