Wireless printer suddenly not working - EPSON WF-2540

I have a Macbook Pro and suddenly it has stopped printing to my Epson WF-2540 printer, which I've had for a couple years. It printed something last week and now it won't print anything. I've restarted the printer, reset the settings and reconnected to our wifi network on my printer, turned the router on and back off, deleted the printer from my Mac and deleted the drivers and reinstalled them. Now when I go to add my printer back onto my Mac, it doesn't show up as an option. The fax does, but the printer doesn't. So, I added it via its IP address, but it said it couldn't connect to the printer due to an error. I went ahead and configured the printer, but if I go to print, it keeps pausing. The light in the printer window in System Preferences is yellow all the time now. I can print from my iPad or iPhone just fine. Anybody have any suggestions as to what's wrong?

I'm unsure from your post, but have you tried resetting the printing system?
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system also Yosemite
If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (Applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

Airport Express USB printing suddenly not working

Hi, we have an airport express which doesn't seem to be working properly. We've had it at least 2 years now. All has been working fine but suddenly USB printing is not working on it. When I load up AirPort utility and go to the printers tab, it says "USB printers: None". It didn't use to say that! I've checked the printer - it works fine when printing direct from computer to printer over USB (hence both the printer and the USB lead are fine). We use the airport express for iTunes and it works fine. The airport is running version 6.3. We used to print (when it worked) from both Windows computers running XP and from macs running Snow Leopard...
Any thoughts?

Erm... help!
In a bid to try to sort out the problem myself, I decided to restore the Airport Express (b/g) to the factory default and see if that helped... I did this through the airport utility. The airport reset fine and I then went through the set-up wizard. However, when it then tried to restart as part of the setup process, it said that there was an error and that it could not restart. It said to restart the airport utility and try again. This I did but it cannot see the airport. If I rescan, it says the same thing (unable to find any apple wireless devices). What should I do?
All thoughts and suggestions gratefully received!

Wireless printing is not working

I have a printer all in one : HP ENVY 4502 (HP ENVY 4500 Series)
The printer works wireless.
At the smartphones : it works
At the laptop (Medion) of my daughter it works : printing and scanning. (Windows 8.1 64 bit)
But when I want to install it on my laptop of dell with windows 8.1 64 bit it does not work.
During installation he does not find the printer.
What can be wrong?

Addiotional info : when I go to the IP adress of my printer it works on my dell. I can scan but he does not print.
So my laptop finds my printer and still I can not print.

Wireless printer does not work after update

I have VM fusion running on my MAC with a wireless printer enabled on my MAC. Prior to the security update, the printer worked seamlessly. Since the update, I can no longer "see" the printer in Windows XP. Any suggestions?

Wireless printing does not work when VPN into network (officejet 4500)

Officejet 4500 G510n
I print with wireless, which works fine,
Until I VPN into the network (which is most of the day) at which point printer shows offline.
To print what is in the que, I have to log out of the network, wait for it to print, then log back in.
Is there a fix for this?

Thank you for your reply.
For that you will have to contact your network administrator, ask them to grant you access to use the resources on the local network when you are connected to the VPN. So that you can use the printer, when you are connected to the VPN.
As I Said earlier, when you are connected to the VPN you completely on a different network (Office Network) and you are disconnected from your local network. Your local network will just be acting as a bridge.

As stated above, I can't print wirelessly as was able to previously. I am completely at a loss and have tried numerous times to solve this knowing it was working at some time. I know, definition of insanity with numerous attempts. Anyway, seems to not be recognizing IP address. Below error message:
Unable to Find Printer;

"The ip address is either incorrect or it is from a different wireless network that has the same name as your network."
I have a Netgear router model N300 model # wnr3500L.
It recognizes an HP printer on the home network.
I looked at another forum with a Cisco/Linksys router with Windows and the advice was to change ip range on router to
192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.150 and change printer to static 192.168.1.10. I changed printer to latter address just for fun and got error message again. I am going to go back to original setting which is 10.0.0.9 dynamically given.

Wireless Ethernet suddenly not working!

Hi everyone.
I've noticed some similar problems posted but I believe mine has a unique twist.
Two nights ago my powerbook stopped being able to connect to my G5 desktop via wireless. Now, before I explain my whole set up, the catch is this:
Not only does my powerbook still get wireless internet, but my G5 desktop can still connect to my powerbook.
I repaired permissions on the pb as well as rebooting both machines and the airport base station. Right after doing that, when I tried to connect to my G5 desktop from my powerbook, it connected briefly (5 seconds, maybe) and then lost the connection. I got the same error messages i had been getting: first, "lost network connection" and then something about the network not being available at this time. I was in the same room with the G5, so i don't think it's a range issue.
The only software i had recently installed was iTunes and QT 7 (have not installed iTunes 7.0.1 yet) and i'm pretty sure i had been connecting succesfully for a few days after installation before this happened.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

so the problem is back.
tonight i tried to network my desktop G5 from my powerbook G4 with wireless and got the following error:
Connection failed
The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and try again.
Again, my wireless is working fine for internet and I am able to network from my G5 to my powerbook.
It looks like a lot of people are having problems with their ethernet ports on their pbs -- but wired. could this wireless problem be part of the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Logitech M305 wireless mouse suddenly not working

I've been using this mouse since I bought my MacBook Pro and suddenly my Mac doesn't even recognize it. I tried downloading the Logitech app that lets you configure the mouse too and it sees it, but still no response when I move or click the mouse. I just replaced the battery on the mouse and tried switching USB ports for the sensor....no dice. I'm wondering if the recent security update messed it up??

I currently use a Logitech Mx510 Optical Mouse and its side "back" and "foward" buttons are also rejected by Safari.

I upgraded from leopard to lion and my Epson printer will not work. I get a error message comunication error. What can Ido to fix this I bought a new USB cord and it did no good.

I suddenly had the same thing happen. I've had my new iMac for 3 months and at first my Epson Artisan 50 worked okay then yesterday I started getting the same error message other people on this support site have gotten. I tried ALL the advice given (deleating the Epson files from the library folder, etc. reinstalling older software) and nothing worked. With the newest iMac (and operating system) you cannot pick and choose which version of Epson software you want. You must use the 10.8 version or it simply will not open when you've downloaded it. Finally I found the comment above by den.thed and tried the OS X Mountain Lion: Reset the printing system suggested. As much as I hated to lose all my printing presets that took a lot of expiermentation to set up, I was desperate. I tried it and it worked. Now I just have to consult my old computer and try to recreate all my printing set ups. So to others with Epson / Apple 10.8 issues this may help when everything else fails. With the printer ON, unplug power from the back of the printer for 30 seconds. Does that reset the radio?

You might want to take a look at Printopia to see if it will do what you want. There is a free trial, so you will know for sure before you buy.
The upside with Printopia is that printing from the iPhone will work just as if you had an AirPrint printer.
The downside with Printopia is that you must have a Mac running on the network to be able to print.

I have no interest in Printopia other than that as a customer.

Apple's AirPrint only support specific models while using wired or wireless network connection.
Plugging a printer into a USB port of Apple base is not supported for AirPrint:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.
As well you must use AirPrint enabled printers for a such, none of your printers are AirPrint enabled:

There are 3rd party solutions which allow sharing a printer connected to your Mac as AirPrint, Printopia as example provide a such:

deggie gave you that link so you'd know that airprint is a reduced-options print system, designed for mobile devices (not Macs), and you need to use the specific airprint driver on the Mac when adding the printer if you want Airprint, no-options printing. Otherwise, select the "non-airprint" driver when you add the printer.
It may be helpful to Reset the Printing System to get OS X to find the right driver.

(And "not working" doesn't help us to help you - please give more detail next time)

Wireless keyboard suddenly stopped working - changed batteries still did not help

I have an Envy 20 all in one touchscreen with a wireless keyboard which has been absolutley fantastic until now. The wireless keyboard suddenly stopped working while composing an email. I replaced the batteries and checked them with a volt meter to ensure 1.5v. They are a name brand alkiline battery. I tried re-booting the computer and pressing the blue connect button under the keyboard. The only keys that seem to work are the volume up/down and mute; the rest of teh keyboard does not. Any idea? I like the factory keyboard so I am hoping it is not a faulty keyboard. After market keyboards will use a USB port.

I understand that your wireless keyboard is not working and you are looking for assistance. I am providing you with an HP Support document: Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Troubleshooting, which will walk you through the troubleshooting process for your wireless keyboard.
Now if this does not work and you have to replace the keyboard do not fear you can replace the keyboard and the dongle without using another USB port as the one that is in can be replaced. I would be happy to assist you further and/or walk you through changing out the dongle from a new wireless keyboard, but first I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer.
