Wont set LayerBreak correctly on AD-7586H...

I just bought a pavilion dv6 3130ej. It has an hp AD-7586H KH04. But when I try to burn a disk with my setting of Layer Break (like in IMGburn), it says that it burns correctly but after it finishes I check it to find that it did it with the default Layer Break and not my settings...
I also tried it with ClonCD but it stops in 50%...
After checking the web for an answer I saw that this problem occured on other people with the same burner and that what I need is an update firmware that doesnt exists...
Any thoughts?
thanks in advance..

  • Could someone who has dns set up correctly confirm that this test works?

    The test that's here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106798 says if you attempt to visit this link:
    http://17.254.0.91
    and you are taken to Apple's page then you probably don't have your DNS set up correctly.
    Can anyone confirm, who has their DNS set up correctly, that attempting to visit that link does not work for them please?
    TIA

    Right, thanks for that info. I don't understand what all the code stuff is at all, but I do understand this:
    If you type in the link stated and you are taken to Apple’s page then DNS IS SET UP CORRECTLY.
    I'm still confused though. In that article/test in part of its explanation of DNS it says:
    If you encounter some applications that continue to work, it may be because they are set up to go directly to an IP address, bypassing the need for DNS service.
    Surely typing in http://17.254.0.91 into your browser is a way of making your browser access apple's site *bypassing DNS*? -- because you're using the IP address irradicating the need for changing a name into an IP address. The way to test if DNS is working, surely, is to try and access apple's site via www.apple.com? Not http://17.254.0.91.
    Thanks.

  • Some of my photos from my iPhone are sinking to my iPad and others are not. I can't work out why this is the case.  Everything seems to be set up correctly.

    Having had an iPhone for some time, I recently purchased an iPad.  Everthing has been set up correctly in terms of iCloud, this was checked by Apple today, the set up in iTunes relating to photos says sync all, again I think this is correct.
    However, some photos from my iPhone taken before I purchased the iPad are sinking to the iPad and others are not.  I have no idea why and would be really greatful for any insights on this matter.
    Furthermore, I have since deleted some photos from my iPhone but these still appear on my iPad and I am unable to delete them.
    Thanks for your help! It's driving me nuts!
    E.

    Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want, sync

    The e-mail address I have tested it for several times and there is no problem.
    Anyone has any clue about this error?

    Hi.
    This I have seen before...
    It can be that the SMTP relay server is configured to only allow certain IP ranges or addresses.
    It can be that the firewall on the SP server does not allow for SMTP traffic (normally 25, for example for Exchange).
    It can be that there is an Antivirus on the SP server(Client AV) that prohobits the Timer service to send email from this server. I have seen MacAfee do this. Needed an policy change.
    If, its the builtin SMTP service you are using, check this link:
    http://blog.sharepointrx.com/2010/11/18/setting-up-the-iis-smtp-server-for-sending-email-from-sharepoint-2010-on-server-2008-r2/
    Check that and try again.

  • Oradism not set up correctly error in the alert log in 9.2.0.4

    Hello,
    I have installed 9.2.0.4 patch on top of 9.2.0.1 database.
    The O/S is Solaris 5.9
    The database is set to work with:
    workarea_size_policy=AUTO.
    The database is not working properly – compared to other machines we have.
    After looking in the alert log I found the following error popping after restart:
    WARNING: -------------------------------
    WARNING: oradism not set up correctly.
    Dynamic ISM can not be locked. Please
    setup oradism, or unset sga_max_size.
    [diagnostic 0, 16, 5001]
    I found the following two notes on the subject, contradicting each other and also contradicting the status of the machine:
    Note:151222.1
    http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=151222.1
    Telling me not to do the below procedure on 9.2.0.4, though I get the same error and miss the required etc entries specified.
    Note:262886.1
    http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=262886.1
    Telling me to copy oradism.sav to oradism and I already have those.
    Can you please supply a full and DETAILED procedure regarding what should I do, in case it is not a procedure, please specify how I should solve the ‘oradism not set up correctly’ error.
    Tal Olier
    [email protected]

    Hi Tal,
    Just looked at the notes you referred to. The first doesn't apply to 9.2.0.4. as you state. The other note is for 9.2.0.4e (note the "e", stands for embedded). This "e" release is not what you have, so that note doesn't apply either.
    The AR that I referred to is for 10g, but the 9iR2 info is the same. You need to make sure that $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oradism is owned by root.

  • Can't share photos, yet my email is set up correctly

    Everytime I try to share photos using the "Share" option, I get an error message stating that my email/password combination is wrong.  However, in Mail, I have the same email accounts and have been able to send/receive email normally.  How can I fix this?

    This makes no sense - if mail is set up correctly and you are using mail then it will work - if you are using something other than mail (like iPhoto for example) then the mail settings make no difference
    What do you have set for your e-mail client in the iPhoto preferences?

  • The only working print-related function in BioBench1.2 on my PC is the "Print Report", all the other "Print" functions gave me "Error, the printer is not set up correctly".

    I used to print all my BioBench data by first exporting them to Excel and then print from there. Recently I need to print some of the screen shots and some data directly from array analysis, but when I click on the "print" buttons, the "Error, the printer is not set up correctly" message occurs. The only thing I can print from BB without this error is the report printing function. I have a postcript printer and I have set the postscript option to be "true"... Thanks !

    This problem is a result of a limitation in Windows 9x regarding the size of an image that you can send to the printer. The problem does not occur on Windows 2000/NT. This problem appeared with the increased color options of LabVIEW 6.0 on which the BB1.2 is based.Although it is not immediately obvious, your video driver and settings play a role in printing.
    1. Try adjusting the color palette your driver uses (i.e., 256 color, high olor, true color). The error may occur only in one of these modes. Also, change the resolution (number of pixels) to represent the Screen Area; e.g., change from a 1024 x 768 display to an 800 x 600 pixel display.
    2.Certain video drivers also support "acceleration" modes. Using a non-accelerated mode often eliminates the error. For
    Windows 95/98, right-click on your My Computer icon and select "Properties" from the pop-up
    menu. On the Performance tab, click the Graphics button and change the Hardware Acceleration (e.g., if it is set to "Full", lower the setting a notch or two); for Windows 2000/NT, right-click on your Desktop and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. On the Settings tab, click the Advanced button and go to
    Troubleshooting.
    3.In Windows, the standard VGA driver provided by the operating system is very stable. Try using this driver in place of the specific one written for your video hardware. If the error is eliminated, there is likely a problem with your vendor-provided video driver.
    4.These errors are most often fixed with the latest
    video/printer driver. Be sure to contact your hardware manufacturer and install the latest driver. An easy way to determine if your error is "driver-related" is to move your code to another machine (and hopefully a different set of drivers) and see if th
    e error persists. If the problem is printer related, try another printer.
    5.Make sure there are at least 100M avalible space in your C: drive. If not, set the virtual memory to the other drive which has larger available space.

  • Panasonic lumix avchd wont play movies correctly in imovies

    Does anyone know why when i import a movie recorded in avchd from my panasonic lumix camera, into imovies 09 , it plays the movie really fast and skips frames etc.
    The sound doesn't match either.The sound is played at normal speed but the video is playing at double the speed,.
    If you know how to fix it , could you please explain it like your talking to a 5 year old. The camera and the computer are both only purchased july 09. Cheers. Brendan

    This may or may not help you, but I have read that the ZS3 records at 30fps but it outputs at 60fps through frame doubling. I am not sure exactly how it does this but I believe it is a flag.
    I have also read that iMovie does not read the flags correctly to frame double the clip which is why your 39 second clip is outputting at double the speed and completing in 20 seconds.
    I also read that it is possible to get iMovie to correct this, but I can not remember the precise steps. You may google for it. Basically it goes like this. You import the movie using iMovie and save it. Then close iMovie. Then you select the movie and (and this is the bit I do not remember) somehow modify a frame rate setting to correct it from 30fps to 60fps. Then open iMovie again and apparently it plays correctly.
    Sorry I could not be more help, but god luck with google and hopefully I have given you a few pointers to follow up on.

  • "invalid password "on Iweb Test. and on SEO Tool, Login Failed Login Authentication Failed, ALL SETTING ARE CORRECT HELP

    I have been updating my site over the last week, using Iweb SEO TOOL, but suddenly 2 days ago I can no longer update when i go to publish it says "invalid password "on Iweb Test. and on SEO Tool, Login Failed Login Authentication Failed, the password and all settings are correct.
    I am 100% sure the all the setting are correct, as it has been working for the last 7 months and I have just been updating it, then suddenly it stopped, I have all the FTP settings wrote down, and even changed the passwords twice hoping that may work to no avail.

    Try the following:
    delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
    go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
    Click to view full size
    launch iWeb and try again.
    If that doesn't help continue with:
    move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
    launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
    go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
    move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
    launch iWeb and try again.

  • ITunes Music Folder will not play from external hardrive after setting the correct path

    I've decided to try and create some more space for my music collection and decided to keep my entire iTunes library on a portable external hardrive. I researched how to do so online and was successful at first. I set the correct path from the advanced menu so that iTunes would recognize and save music to the folder on my HD. It worked fine last night, but today when I try and access it I get the, "could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" error message when I try and play a song anywhere in iTunes. I then tried to import the library from my external hardrive and then everything was duplicated. I some how reversed the duplication by using time machine and then redownloading iTunes, which is a riduculous story in itself, but thankfully, I am back at square one.
    I have over 24,000 songs with a majority of them rated as well as playlists I do not want to lose. I don't understand why it will not play the songs. Can anyone help me?

    If you are going to have the library on an ext HD the transfer the entire iTunes folder. This way you capture all the files - not just the music.
    Launch iTunes with the 'option' key down and follow the dialog - tell iTunes to open the iTunes library file on the ext HD and things should be ok.

    You may set your environment.
    From bash shell
    bash# export LC_ALL=C
    bash# export LANG=C
    for c -shell.
    setenv LC_ALL C
    setenv LANG C
    Hope this helps.

    Anytime I restart a server or perform any other
    functions in my DSCC console I get errors saying
    "couldn't set locale correctly". Everything works
    fine but I still get the errors.
    When I do a "locale" at the prompt I get the
    following:
    LANG=
    LC_CTYPE="C"
    LC_NUMERIC="C"
    LC_TIME="C"
    LC_COLLATE="C"
    LC_MONETARY="C"
    LC_MESSAGES="C"
    LC_ALL=
    Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this
    problem?
    Thanks,
