Work folders not working

Hi everyone. I am trying to configure work folders on W2012 R2.
I completed server configuration (as described in all procedures) and I have no error in server logs.
Port 443 is in use by "windows sync share" service (if I stop this service the port is not in use anymore; so...)
I cannot use auto discovery because one of the domain controllers is still 2008R2, so I am configuring the clients using the direct url and this error is shown:
On this server I have those roles installed:
- IIS (with one FTP site)
- WSUS with HTTP port 81 and HTTPS 8350)
- HyperV (not used, only as backup)
- WDS
- File server with DFSR

Please check if you bind the SSL certificate for the server to the Default Web Site on the file server. You could use Use the netsh command to bind the certificate to the Default Web Site https interface. The command is as follows:

looks like your are trying to file to file scenario and the file is not generating at the target folder ...
then check the communication logs of the receiver adapter using RWB->CC logs..
post the error you have received there..

Worker does not work so well

Hi everyone,
     I am trying to decrypt an encrypted video in my opne-source project SparrowPlayer(https://github.com/yatsen-yang/SparrowPlayer),and I found that decrypting the video may block the main thread for several seconds.It resulted in stopping renderring UI assets on the stage, which is unacceptable.So I think 'Worker' may do some help. I followed the example code of the online API about Worker(http://help.adobe.com/zh_CN/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/system/Worker.htm l). I tested and it worked well.
     But I found that if I embed the BGWorker.swf in other class like com.xx.Test instead of in the document class, 'Worker' did not work so well.Sometimes main worker could not communicate with bgworker even that the state of bgworker is running.
The example code followed:

    It happened sometime, not everytime. If main worker send a message after 1 second when listerning that the state of bgworker is running, the code works well
    So it confused me. Logically, if the state of bgworker is running, it should mean that main worker can communicate with bgworker, and it works well if you embed the bgworker swf in the document class.But if you embed the bgworker swf in other class, you will have problem sometime.
    Finally, I found a solution.I embed the bgworker swf in other class instead of in the document class, and when bgworker initializes succesfully, it send a message to main worker.Main worker communicates withe bgworker immediately if it receives the message coming from bgworker.Now the problem is solved.
    I want to know why the state of Worker not reliable when I embed the bgworker swf in other class.Is it a bug of Worker?

We would need to debug it to definitively understand the problem. I would recommend filing a bug with a simplified example that demonstrates the problem. If you post the bug number here, I'll escalate it to the engineering team.
Also, have you tried multiple browsers? We can always do that triage here, but it would be an interesting data point.

First, try to reset by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
If this does not help, connect in recovery mode and restore, explained in this article: iOS: Unable to update or restore

SSAS Display Folders not working properly after using Translations

Hi
I have a Cube with many fact tables and each having many measures.So for user convience i have created display folder for measures inside measure groups and everything was working fine.
But now i have created Translation (English(United States)) for measures,Calculated member and Dimensions and Processed.I observed that the display folders are working for calculated measures but weirdly the other measures display folder property is not
getting applied.
Please let me know if anybody came cross this and fixed.

According to your description, your display folders in not working after using translation. Right?
In Analysis Services, this is a known bug. However, we have workaround for this issue.
Solution:
1. Locate your cube in Solution Explorer
2. Right click on it and choose 'View code'
3. Find the corresponding <Translation> tag - look for the Foreign name of your Calculated member
4. Below the <Caption> tag place a line with <DisplayFolder> tag. The properties within Translation tag should look like:
              <Language>1001</Language>
              <Caption>Foreign name of Calculated member</Caption>
              <DisplayFolder>Foreign name for the display folder</DisplayFolder>
5. Repeat for all your calculated members.

Smart folders not working...

I've got some smart folders that just stopped working... I haven't changed the definitions and they were working fine, but all of a sudden they are not.
The one that is not working is defined with 3 things, one of them is another smart filter. This has always worked in the past.
I booted the machine, and inso doing went in and out of mail. Is there anything to reset?

I found a work around... but I'm still curious why this stopped working...
The original logic was to have a sort of pre-filter Smart Mailbox with tons of conditions with "Any" selected. Then the second folder had "All" selected with "In the pre-filter mailbox" and "in the inbox selected". This stopped working and I had to then change it to "In the pre-filter mailbox" and "not in the specific folder I later sort into" This isn't quite as useful since sometimes I sort into different folders, but it did work.
I'm on 10.4.10 on a PPC iMac G5 1GB DDR2 SDRAM... I've done all the updates Apple can put out here except the iPod stuff since I'm not in that world... yet.

Sidebar Places Folders NOT working as a Smart Folder

I have three sidebar Places Folders that I originally made, but now they do not work as an expected Smart Folder. The additional problem is I cannot remove these sidebar folders by simply dragging them OFF the side bar. If I right click on these three problem sidebar folders I am only allowed to "Open Sidebar Preferences" and further more the sidebar folder cannot be highlighted. What can I do to remove these folders from the sidebar?

Watch Folders Not Working

I have recently upgraded to PSE 9 and like it a lot. I managed to import my catalogues and things look fine. However, the watch folder feature that worked so well in PSE 8 is not working at all in 9. I have it set to the correct folders, but none of them are watching. What can I do?

I would like to bump this because I too cannot get Wacth folders to watch.
I am using a network share, and unless I am doing something wrong, it doesnt work.
I have a RAW image I open in Camera Raw. I modify it, then convert it to a jpg and have it saved into the same place the RAW file is located. I would expect the orginizer to see the added file and auto add it to the orginizer because this is what the feature claims to do, but nothing happens.

Hiding Known Folders Not working s2012R2.

i have a situation where i have to hide known folders from explorer view (on the left hand side) so it just shows the Drives and not
Music,Downloads,Pictures, Videos ETC i have configured a User policy to hide known folders based on GUIDS shown below

Based on the description, do you mean that we want to remove Documents, Music, Picture, and Videos from File Explorer? If yes, we can do this by editing the Registry.
To remove Document, we can delete the following registry entry:

To remove Music, delete the following registry entry:

Note, before we delete the registry entries, in case of something goes wrong, please export them to back them up.
If we want to deploy the registry changes to multiple server 2012r2 machines, we can do this via Group Policy Preferences Registry extension. In this case, the setting path is Computer Configuration\Preferences\Windows Settings\Registry.

VirtualBox Shared Folders not working after upgrade

Hello,
I'm running Arch Linux as a guest OS in VirtualBox. After yesterday's upgrades of linux to 3.11.1-1 and virtualbox-guest-modules to 4.2.18-3, the shared folder functionality seems to be seriously borked.
The vboxsf module itself loads fine, and produces no kernel messages except the standard hello :

Mounting a shared directory with mount.vboxsf and mount -t vboxsf results in a success. However, accessing the mount ends in the CPU usage spiking to 100% and nothing happening. Furthermore, the following line appears in /etc/mtab :
none /mnt vboxsf rw,nodev,relatime 0 0
Removing and adding the shared folder from the machine settings, sadly, does not work. I'm running VirtualBox 4.2.18 on the host machine.
Has anybody had this issue after the update? Thanks in advance.

Problem:
ls hangs when run in a shared folder.
Yesterday I updated Arch Linux (through pacman), halted, updated Virtual Box to 4.2.18, and started Arch Linux again. However, after I did so I could not access my shared directories (with my Windows host). I do not think it is a permission problem (root cannot ls either).
I can:
cd /media/sf_VMShared
cd <a folder in VMShared>
However, I can't ls the directories. This is only a problem in Shared Folders. When I run
strace ls
It gets stuck looping on

Upgrade from Tiger makes smart folders not work any more.

I tag certain categories of applications with Spotlight comments, and create a smart folder to find those files with that Spotlight comment. This way I can have a folder for 'games', for example.
Those smart folders don't work any more in Snow Leopard.
The Spotlight comments are still there, tho.
Here is what is stranger. If I recreate the smart folder, it still does not work.

Ug! I have to reenter all the Spotlight comments on each Application. That fixes it.
Not sure if recreating smart folders was necessary, tho.

Working Sets not working

Has anyone got Working Sets to work with Flash Builder 4.5 for PHP as described here:

I found a workaround. After Flash Builder for PHP loads, close the Package Explorer that has the broken working sets. Then open it back up by going to Window --> Show View --> Package Explorer.

BH 105 working or not working

i just bought a BH 105 bluetooth headset yesterday and it was working fine.. today i connected with it again with my N70 and it gives the confirmation beep of connecting. but when i tried calling or listening to music it is not working.. is there something i can do for it to work or it is already broken and just needed to be replaced?

I would request any one of you to please help in solving this issues with my blue tooth headset. The headset is not charging, and flashing red light continuously while i tried to connect with charger. If i remove the headset form charger it is not switching on.

SWU3 is configured properly.
Except for 1)Maintain web server & 2) check entries from HR Control tables , everything is set to green.
Actually, main WF is successfully trigerring the sub WF.
But, somehow MATNR is not being passed to sub WF, which was being passed yesterday.
same containers, same binding.
But, not working today.
Any guesses.....

Gifting 'whole work' does not work

I don't know if anyone else has run into this issue, but it is very frustrating. I tried writing to the itunes store for support, but was answered with a form letter that did not in any way try to address my issues, so I am posting here for 'support,' to avoid further frustration with this, while I await another response from itunes personnel. Here is the longish version, so please bear with me. I wanted to make a gift of a classical work to a friend, but first I wanted to see what that gift would look like coming from Apple, and I also wanted to make sure I liked it enough to give it. So I opened a second itunes account for myself and tried giving myself the gift first. I selected the 'whole work' option from the itunes list, moved it into the playlist I had created for this purpose, clicked the arrow to the right of that playlist folder and continued to select it as a gift to my other account. What I got was just the second and third movements of the work, the first movement was not included. I played around with this and found that indeed it would not work to purchase the whole three movement work as a gift, even though in the itunes listing, it said that if you wanted that first movement, you would have to purchase it as part of the whole work. It just wouldn't do it though. So, as an experiment, I tried purchasing the whole work directly, right into my account, my computer, not as a gift to myself or anyone else. And, well, that worked. So, why can't I purchase it as a gift? And if it just isn't possible to do this, why is that? How come I can buy it for myself and not for someone else? I'd really like to understand this. Thanks in advance for any insight.

What you are looking for is the Work Area Bar (WAB). You can then set the Export/Share to only the Work Area for most Export formats. Do not forget to do this. It's usually with a drop-down, or a checkbox.
