Workflow goes into error

There is an invoice approval via workflow. Task is a foreground task(dialog method) and user gets a screen where he has options to approve/reject/ see the docu. Data has been passed to the task container via wf-task binding. task is using a method of delegated BOR. I get an error in workflow that container is not assigned.
Most importantly it doesnot happen all the time. Is it any sync issue or something else. Please let me know.

Hi,
Probable i got the solution. There was one defect in the binding of task. At the time of importing parameter(task --> WF) container element FIPP as well as WIOBJECT of type FIPP was imported in the same parameter FIPP like this
&FIPP& <-- &FIPP&
&FIPP& <-- &_WI_OBJECT&
This was the conflicting importing parameter.
When i removed one of the importing parameter, error got disappeared.

Workflow goes into incorrect status RESERVED

Hi,
We have gone live with the MSS (PCRs) in June and we have a situation where the manager is trying to approve a PCR and when he clicks on the link (which takes him to the approval screen), he receives a NULL error and in the backend the workflow goes into the status 'RESERVED'.
Has anybody come across this situation? Can this be security related?
Any information related to this will be appreciated.

If you are working with workflows for the first time, you can follow below approach
(To add to the statements of Murali and Abdullah)
1. If you are able to track the related workflow log, Extras->Technical Data will give you the workflow template number
2. Next take this template number and open it through SWDD transaction and analyze the IDOC process setup in your system. Please goto the step where they are checking the IDOC success/failure, the next steps will have the notifications setup.
(In case you are unable to track the workflow log, try to identify the business process / workflow template related to IDOC errors/notifications in your system, your functional consultant can also help to identify the object involved-> go through the object docs to understand the process)
- For further info, please paste WF log screenshot

Purchase Order going into Error in process while ordering from SRM.

Hello All,
We are facing a typical issue where the PO is going into error while ordering from SRM. The error message is ' 17.09.2010 12:45:35 Purchase order XXXXXXX: G/L account XXXXXX cannot be used (please correct ) '
Is there any mechanism/tcode where we can list out the Backend errors in SRM?
We are using SRM 4.00.

ask your FI /CO consultant
since there are different types of GL accounts like expense , inventory .
so he can guide you well what GL account is correct
as well check product category vs gl account configuration.

IDoc goes into error

When i send IDoc to ECC(using standard IDoc) , it goes into error.
error message: No batch input data for screen SAPLSPO1 0500
but when i try to execute this IDoc from WE19, it work perfectly.

Hi,
Some input data missing during BDC, what you do, please execute IDOC by giving inbound function module and process it in fore ground, you may know which screen needs input data.

SharePoint 2013 Workflow goes into cancelled state

I want to test a workflow that copys current list item to a new libary. But as soon as
it starts it goes into cancelled state like this:

Try this
The error text that pasted indicates that you're getting access denied on workflow calling back to SharePoint.
Workflow uses signed security tokens to authenticate. The SharePoint Web Application must be claims enabled and not use Forms Based Authentication (which is a requirement of SharePoint OAuth).
Because the response header only includes WWW-Authenticate: NTLM it would seem that SharePoint is not configured for server-to-server authentication (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219546.aspx)

How to set workflow fall into error.

Dear Expert,
I have a background step to generate and send out email. My problem is sometimes the email address will be blank. How can i do to set the workflow to error when it encounter this situation. I want to have this because when the workflow got stuck, i can manually go and replace the email address container and restart the workflow step so that the user will not miss the email part.
Anyone can guide me on this?

Now here the condition is if the email id is not found you want to set the running step into error state right?
try to do like this
1. Set a flag as Email_Not_Found if this flag is set to X then pass the same value back to workflow conatiner and in the workflow tempalte define a condition step by using the same flag, if it is X then you raise a exception, Or you can simply loggically delete the workflow instance ,
2. If it is not X then the current running step should pass X back to workflow container and it should get completed successfully....
3. Here Instaead of raise exception, my advise is to simply Cancel the workitem by using the Process Control step, check the above mentioned article for more information about Process control step....

Workflow goes in error when the shopping cart is rejected

Hi All,
We have implemented n step approval workflow.
The issue is when the shopping cart gets rejected, the workflow WS14900032 gets called which sends the mail to approver/initiator/reviewer.
The catch here is this workflow is going in error only in case of approvers and that too sometimes.
Can anybody tell me what might be the issue with this. I have already compared the correct and errored workflow data but do not find anything specific.

Purhase order output type ZYT3 going into error when triggeralong with ZMY1

Hi Experts,
We am currently having this problem:
While creating PO, we save 2 customized output types(ZMY1 & ZYT3 - 2 different print programs) together, with the same Dispatch time: Send immediately(when saving the application). But the ZYT3 will always have the error u2018No print-relevant changes to document existu2019(ME140).
We found that the error appears because the data in NAST is not passed to the customized program.
We put a breakpoint at the statement
"PERFORM (TNAPR-RONAM) IN PROGRAM (TNAPR-PGNAM) USING RETURNCODE US_SCREEN IF FOUND." in program RSNAST00 and the next step is going into the first statement of the customized program. For output type ZMY1, data in NAST is passed to the program. However when it reached the next output type ZYT3, data in NAST missing.
However, if we print ZYT3 individually or with different dispatch time, there is no problem.
Please let me know whatu2019s the possible cause. Any input will be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to do some customization on APXINWKB (Invoices form) using CUSTOM.pll. But whenever i am trying to open the form after adding the code in CUSTOM.pll i am getting the following error:

I am trying to display a a small message in the new form instance of the above form thru CUSTOM.pll, nothing more than that!!. If i remove the coding, the form is working perfectly. My oracle apps version is 11.5.10.1

Thank you for the update, actually the problem is solved.
The issue is : Whenever i am trying to show a message in that form using either form personalization or CUSTOM.pll, it is giving the error, if i do any thing else like 'changing the default where clause etc', it is not giving any error. The problem is only with message. Actually my requirement is changing the where clause, which is happening with out any problem. I dropped the idea of showing the message any way.
This problem is strange. Any ways, i am raising an SR with Oracle.

HP designjet Z3200ps that goes into error message 79.04 when trying to load paper.

The Designjet Z3200ps powers up and comes to ready and ask to load paper. It starts to take the paper and the carriage unit scans back and forth then the display shows error 79.04. I've upgraded to the latest Firmware, But it still does the same thing. Does anyone have any other answers. Thanks

Workflows which went into error

Hi,
Is there any standard way to determine which all workflows moved into ERROR status for the given time
period? The transaction SWI2_DIAG will give you workflows which are in ERROR, but there they check
the workflow creation time.

That one is workitem creation date and time. I want the time during which workitem moves into error status.
Workitem might be created today, but the status might change to ERROR tomorrow.

Idoc going into eror

Hi,
I am creating vendors through XI for normal company code 1000 in ides system. I have set a polling interval of 35 seconds, and placed the XML file in the XI path. Now when the file is picked up, the idoc is posted, but goes into error saying that cross system company code 1000 doesn't exist. But if I post the same idoc through WE19 using the inbound function module, the vendor is created successfully. Has anybody faced this problem?

My lap top wont import pictures from auto play. it keeps saying there is a file error and a device connected to the computer isnt working properly. i have tried going into the internal storage to copy and paste the pictures but this wont work either.

my pictures from my i phone 4s wont import from auto play. a message keeps coming up saying there is an error and a device is not working properly. also i have tried going into the internal storage to copy and paste them but that wont work either. the page either stops responding or the picture simply dont copy. does any1 have any idea why this is happening. it has never happened before and only seems to be happening since i started using i cloud storage instead of synching my phone with the lap top.

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
