Xen Kernel randomly fails to load and goes out of range

Been having an on/off issue lately that requires a hard reset of my system.  Essentially what happens is the system begins to load when my monitor reports an error that the signal is out of range.  I try to pretend login and reboot, but it does not work.  Instead, I am forced to simply reset the system and once reset it appears to boot OK without any issues.  In fact I can go a few reboots before once again it decides to break.  Below is what should be one of the logs from a failed boot, in fact, the system is in this same failed state right now as well.

  • A required application library failed to load and the product cannot continue

Seems like I go through this problem time and again with Photoshop + Acrobat CS2 and still have yet to resolve a way of fixing it short of completely wiping my drive and re-installing Windows (XP Pro) The error is "application library failed to load and the product cannot continue"
If there is anyone out there that has figured out a way to fix this issue please fill me in.
This time I went as far as a complete and though removal of all Adobe products from the system and the registry and then completely reinstalled the product.
I have forgone purchasing CS3 because of this issue as I am 99% sure that it has still not been resolved.
Basically Photoshop and Acrobat are useless at this point and I am using an old version of Picture Publisher and Macromedia Fireworks to complete my work. This I assume is good advertising for Adobe :)
    Anyone have any ideas????
See this post in the forum "could not complete your request because of a program error", PDF format, cs2, xp" as this is an ongoing Adobe issue that they have completely blown off!

    John,
foud your message very helpfull. I experience the same problem when strating a CS2 program (Photoshop, Indesign,...) over a terminal server connection.
It's weird because starting more than one instance is possible (despite what's written in the article ) as long as the users have administrative rights. I've encountererd this problem because my daughter of 11 wants to use Photoshop now. I have a terminal server set up so the kids may experiment with their own desktops whithout the risk to screw it up and because I can access all my programs from wherever I want.
But as I found out now I must buy volume licensing instead of retail (even if it's for just one instance...)
Want to know if possible how "difficult" it was to change your retail to a volume licensed version? Did you have to pay the full amount again? Hope an upgrade exist from Creative Suite CS2 - retail to Creative suite CS3 - volume licensed for the same price as from retail to retail... Or am I hoping to much?
Kind regards and thanks for your info,
    Patrick

  • Photo Elements 11 fails to load and rolls back when it starts 'installing shared services'

Photoshop Elements 11 fails to load and rolls back as soon as it switches to 'installing shared services'. How can I overcome this? Premier Elements is already loaded and works fine including the Organiser. Photo Elements 10 is still on the system and also works fine.
    System - Windows 7 OS1

    Hello
I have tried that previously, it didn’t work then and it doesn’t now.
What I have just done is run the installation until it came up with the error message and killed the set-up file & windows installer. Photoshop elements seems to be almost installed. Organiser works for both Premier & Photoshop. What files etc would have been loaded from the point of the error message? The installation worked on a borrowed laptop (on 30 day trial). Hopefully all I need to do is copy the missing files across if you could advise what they are.
    Regards
    Bryan

  • Need to find out the traffic coming into and going out of ALSB

    Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to find out the traffic coming into and going out of ALSB (Number of Messages). Please let me know if i am not clear.
    Thanks,
    Varun

I would like to know if there is a way to find out the traffic coming into and going out of ALSB (Number of Messages). Please let me know if i am not clear. There are two points. If you want to get aggregate traffic for all end-points in OSB, then out of box is not possible. It can be arrived at using monitoring capabilities.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/operations/monitoring.html
If you are looking at the traffic at end-point level, then it is available when monitoring is enabled.

My ipad touch screen not, also reseted it. It stops suddenly and goes out of control. Need answer very quickly???????

Try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help, take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check out the screen to see if there is a hardware fault.

Does anyone what causes this and how to resolve it?

Can you give more details about what the script is doing when you get this error? Looks like an application generated message, the script is not inputting correct parameter values required on that page, maybe.

  • RMI tunneling: JNDI lookup fails with : Disconnected: Type code out of range, is -29

    9iAS Release 2
When trying to tunnel through Apache to the OC4J_home instance using ...
    http:ormi://<host>:<HTTPport>/<application> <admin><password>
and then looking up a JNDI name ...
    TopicConnectionFactory connectionFactory =
    (TopicConnectionFactory)new InitialContext(p).lookup("jms/myTopicConnectionFactory");
I get a NamingException thrown, with the message: Disconnected: Type code out of range, is -29.
The jms.xml file is correct. It works against a standalone OC4J instance (therefore no tunneling) ...
    ormi://<host>:23791/<application> <admin><password>
I'm connecting from a standalone client and using the RMIInitialContextFactory, the tunneling is working (changing oc4j username/password gets a SecurityException). What's missing? Do you have to change the jndi name when tunneling? What does -29 mean in english?

Tunneling through the Apache HTTP server to an OC4J instance from remote standalone clients works on Linux installations of 9iAS but not on NT installations, failing with a 'Type Code out of range, is -29' error, JVM versions on client and server are the same. Also works against a standalone version of oc4j on NT, what's happening?

  • Dreamweaver cs5.5 on win 7 recently failed to open/load and just stops loading and goes away.  Never makes it to fully load.

How do i fix the load issue.  It wont load anymore.  i see the opening version screen and then it vanishes and goes away.  Never loaded.  this just started recently in the last week or two.

Try turning on your OS's hidden files and clearing the program cache: Deleting a corrupted cache file
If that doesn't work, renaming the personal configuration folder at the location discussed above can fix issues the cache clearing doesn't. If neither of those work, restoring preferences can help: Restore preferences | Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS5.5

Sometimes, while viewing certain pages, Safari will fail to load the page and instead show "invis.gif 1x1 pixels" in the window title bar. The content area is plain white. Ironically, this is 100% reproducible when trying to reply to a forum post here.
With the Debug menu enabled, Web Inspector shows the following warnings:

    Thoughts?

    Well after reading your reply...
I went into Preferences and deleted the folder called "Net Barrier" and no more problems.
    Thanks again!
Next time I'll check here first!

I have deleted my live bookmarks and re-added them only to get the same error.
It makes me sad that my favorite web browser is going down the toilet. Won't be more than a month or two before you get taken down by Chrome according to general web trends... Give it a year and if you don't fix all the broken crap in FireFox it will end up as the "NEW IE6" in a year or two...
I love how the top dog in any category of business goes down the toilet as soon as the idiot board and bureaucrats get involved.

  • HP1102 Driver failed to load and printer not recognized by Win8.1

    Dear All,
I have very weird problem and for the last 3-4 days I couldn't succeed to find any tangible solution to that which cause me to pull my hairs. I have bought a HP  LaserJet 1102 printer and have new laptop which stubbornly denies the installation of printer  into the printer category, original smart isntaller always fails .  It constantly getting installed as unknown device, but the name in device manager is correct under the unknown devices ( "HP LaserJet P1102").
    I followed the http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=tr&lc=tr&dlc=tr&docname=c03327635 instructions
wihtout sucess, printer is really not recognized by OS Win8.1. Runing the HP Print and Scan Doctor retrieves that printer is connected but the diver is not installed. So what am I supposed to do to solve that problem.
    Your guidance will be appreciated,
    Regards,

    Hi @HP1102_User,
I see that you are having issues setting up the printer on Windows 8. The driver won't load and the printer isn't being recognized properly when running the Smart Install. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Is this printer the Laserjet P1102 or the Laserjet P1102w?  How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. The USB cable shouldn't be longer then 6 feet. Try another USB port on the computer. You might have to try another USB cable to see if that is causing this issue.
Check the USB port on the Laptop, to see if it is a 2.0 or 3.0 port.
How to determine whether a USB 3.0 device is operating at SuperSpeed?
Try and update the driver from the Device Manager in Solution two: Software troubleshooting.
'Device setup failed to complete' or 'Unknown device' Message Displays in Windows during USB Install...
You can follow this document for either printer model.
Windows 8 steps: Click the Windows Key + X to open the Start Menu. Select Device Manager from the Start Menu. (if you are still having issue go back to the beginning of the document)
Then check the power management settings also in the Device Manager.
Select universal serial bus controllers from the list, for each USB root hub, right click and left click on properties, for power management remove the check mark for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". It allows computer to limit or turn off power for this device.
If you are still having issues, download and try to install the newest drivers for the printer.
Delete the printer from the Device Manager and disconnect the USB cable first.
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus Software, to make sure it doesn't interfere with the install.

  • Mac mini with Mountain lion fails to load and mount the os-10.6.3 install disk

I'm trying to use the hardware test utility that should be on the applications disk.  When I put in either the install or application disk the drive kicks it out again after 15 or 20 seconds.  These disks will both load on my imac (late 2009) but of course won't install anything.
Is this normal behavour or do I have a hardware problem?
In addition I boot from my Mountain lion usb recovery drive but find nothing about the hardware testing utility local or online.
I wanted to test memory.  Used memtest and shows no errors.  I also want to test everything else too.

Thanks much folks for the replies and ideas.
Here is more info that should have been in my first post.
    The mini is late 2009.
It ejects the install os 10.6.3 original disks without mounting them BUT will load and mount any other dvd or cd that I have tried video, music or data.  When either of the Apple disks are inserted the drive does a low pitch vibration for several seconds then stops.  It repeats about five times then ejects.  No other disks vibrate this way.  The apple disks for the mini  do not vibrate or eject in the iMac.  They load and mount normally.
I looked for an update for the EFIboot and couldnt see anything that I thought mached the mini.
I have tried the NVPRAM reset with no change in behavour.
Doing a startup with d key doesn't find the AHT.  I assume if it is on the mac-HD it would be found and run.
There doesnt seem to be one on the recovery USB drive that I created.
I did upgrade from SL to ML, no erase.
BDAqua,  I'm not sure what you mean, "In fact, do 3 in a row, takes a bit of time."  Should I do 3 NVRAM resets in a row?
I haven't tried the cleaning kit since all other disks give no problems or errors that I know of.

  • Movies fail to load and playback in web browsers

I can't seem to load and playback what appear to be QT movies in Safari, Chrome , or Firefox. A black window sits there and all I get is a spinning blue circle in the middle of the screen for a long time. I have a 2.66 Ghz intel imac with 2 gigs of RAM. Unfortunately I am stuck with satellite web service and my average download speed is about 1MBit/sec and frequently less. Could my problem be related to low bandwidth and/or not enough RAM? Or could I be having some sort of file conversion problem? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Don
