    Hi
While clearing the Gl account Manually with transaction code F-04 we
are getting the Error Consolidated companies SASA and ' ' are different
    Diagnosis
The number of the affiliated company must be clear for the selected
document type for all line items. In this case at least two different
companies or a company in connection with a business partner who does
not belong to a company are stated.
    Procedure
If you selected the correct accounts, you must enter the document with
a document type that allows cross-company posting. Otherwise, please
    correct the entered account.
Please help in this matter. This is bit urgent

    Hi Manasi,
As the name suggest, F-04 allows you to POST to one account by CLEARING another account.
For example you have a provision account which needs to be adjusted when the actual expense is paid -  this how it will be done -
Give the document header details, select "Transfer posting with clearing", enter the posting key (40), give the GL account (expense account as per the example) and go to the next screen.
Give the amount and other details for the line items and then select "choose open item" from the menu. The new screen will ask you to give an account where you will give the provision account (the account from which the open item needs to be cleared).
Press enter and you will get the list of open items for the GL account from where you can proceed like any other clearing.
Hope this clarifies. Do revert in case of any further queries.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Automatic Clearing through FESR

    Dear All,
We are using FESR for posting the customer payments and automatic clearing. While it works for the payments which has no difference but for small differencesit it only post the payments but does not create a clearing document. So we have to run F-32 to be able to clear the such customers.
Strangely, a tolerence limit is set at company code level that is why it clears through F-32.
Why is it happening, does any one has idea about the settings for FESR? Does it allow payment differences?
Help will be suitably awarded with points.

    Hi Vijay,
Please find the pre requisite for posting the incoming Payments thru BESR or VESR
    Prerequisites
    1. The content of the data carrier must be transferred to a UNIX file. RFESR000 needs a Cleaned-up version, containing records of 100 bytes in length.
If the original file is delivered on MS-DOS diskettes (3 1/2" or 5 1/4"), you can use program RFESR100 to compile. For other data carrier formats, you need to adapt program RFESR100.
    2. In the Accounting configuration menu, you must, for each POC subscriber, maintain a Document type, company code, incoming payment account, and payment clearing account, so that you can create batch input sessions.
In the Bank POC; you must also specify the customer ID number. You must not fill this field in the Post POC.
Hope you satisfy all the conditions, as there is no separate clearing rule, there should not be any problem in automated clearing.
    Regards

  • Please go through the code, is it pass by value?

Can any one explain me the diff between call by value and call by reference in Subroutines.
    ex :
    PERFORM ADD_Z1CLASS1 USING LW_MARA-MATNR
                             CHANGING IDOC_DATA[].
FORM ADD_Z1CLASS1 USING    PV_MATNR TYPE MATNR
                     CHANGING PT_EDIDD TYPE EDIDD_TT.
Please let me know, if the above code is call by value or call by reference...?
    Any suggestions will be appreciated!
    Regards,
    Kittu

    hi,
    using             --  Pass by reference
    changing        --  Pass by reference
using value()   --  Pass by value
changing value( )--  Pass by value and result
The main difference between the pass by value and pass by reference is that " In pass by value the actual parameters are not changed while in pass by reference those are changed".
By reference Passes a pointer to the original memory location.  Very efficient
By value Allocates a new memory location for use within the subroutine. The memory is freed when the subroutine ends.  Prevents changes to passed variable
By value and result Similar to pass by value, but the contents of the new memory is copied back into the original memory before returning.  Allows changes and allows a rollback .
    Go through the following eg:
    pass by ref:
    data f1 value 'A'.
    perform s1 using f1.
    write / f1.
    form s1 using p1.
         p1 = 'X'.
         endform.
    o/p is X
using and changing Are Identical in Function
      report ztx1805.
      data: f1 value 'A',
            f2 value 'B'.
      write: / f1, f2.
      perform s1 using f1
                 changing f2.
      write: / f1, f2.
    form s1 using p1
             changing p2.
         p1 = p2 = 'X'.
         endform.
    o/p : A B
           X X
    Pass by value:
    data: f1 value 'A'.
      perform s1 using f1.
      write / f1.
      form s1 using value(p1).
          p1 = 'X'.
          write / p1.
         endform.
    o/p is X
            A
    Hope this is clear.
so the code which you have pasted comes under pass by reference.
    Reward points if helpful.
    Thanks and regards.

  • Electronic Bank Statement (EBRS) through T.Code: FF_5 Vs FF67

    Dear Experts
My client so far BRS is doing manually through T.Code: FF67 or FF68.
Initially the configuration is done wit two GL accounts, (1) Main bank account ending with +++++++0 ,(2) Outgoing clearing account ending with ++++++1 and there is no incoming clearing account, whenever the client issue the cheque credit to the outgoing clearing account and debit to the vendor account and whenever receive the cheque Debit to the Incoming clearing account is debit & Credit to the Customer. and the same manual BRS is completed very weel without problems.
But now as per client requirement I have to do run Electronic bank reconcilation in the system using T.code : FF_5. I have received  file format SWIFT MT940 from banks about 5banks and rest of the banks around 25 babnks  they have to continue with manual BRS FF67 / 68 only.
so i should not change the configuration , so i have to continue with existing configuration and have to complete the EBRS using with two GL account (main bank, outgoing clearing ) , if i continue with existing configuration shall i complete the EBRS with extra additional settings (Assign External Transaction Types to Posting Rules, and Assign Bank Accounts to Transaction Types ) using T.Code: FF_5.
what is the impact, whether i can complete  EBRS or not, kindly advice on this how i have to procssed futher.
Please advice on this and what is the impact on EBRS or manuall BRs.
    Regards
    Eswar

    Hi,
no problem working with two accounts in your business process. In this case your reconciliation will be like  before.
Anyhow FF_5 (FF.5) or FF67 do the same thing. Post transactions from the bank statement. To learn more about the accounts used in your company check the transaction OT83.

  • Customer Clearing through FF68

    Hi,
    I have a scenario,
How to Clear Incoming payment document through Transaction Code FF68 (through batch input ) ?
    Regards,
    Pramitha.

    Hi,
For Automatic Customer clearing of Invoices, you need to create a posting rule. In the posting rule there will be two posting areas. Posting Area 1 you will give the GL Bank account and Bank Clearing Account. In the Second Posting Area You need to give posting Key 50 with the Bank Clearing Account and 15 posting key and leave the account blank and in the last there is a field posting type in that you need to give 8.
Once after defining the posting rule, you need to assign the external transaction type and the interpretation algorithm for the posting rule. Interpretation algorithm you need to select document number (020).

  • Clear the Tariff Code Numbers uploaded by XML?

Hi, I'm experimenting with upload of the XML files from dataprovider in GTS.
I have uploaded too many Tariff numbers and do not want users to have the full catalogue of codes, only the ones they will use.
Is there a way of clearing all Tariff codes from a Numbering scheme? The only way I have found so far is through config: delete the numbering scheme and re create it. But it's hardly parctical...
    Thanks for any advice.
    Philip

    Hello Philip,
as Marc already pointed out commodity codes which are already used wont be deleted because that would lead to data inconsistency. But the rest which is not used can be deleted easily.
Only you need is to set your commodity code scheme as "created manually" (even though was uploaded via xm or txt).
Write small report which will update table entries /SAPSLL/CTSNUM field CRECO to "A0" and table entries /SAPSLL/CTSGEN field CRECO to "A0" for your scheme.
Than just go to /SAPSLL/LLNS_102 and select you scheme and just delete what is needed.
    Cheers,
    Gabriel.

  • Difference between cleared items, open items and all postings (FI).

    Hi experts,
Can anybody tell me the difference between cleared items, open items and all postings for an account.
While running corresponding bapis and transaction FAGLL03 (for GL) or FBL1N (for accounts payable) i found that in some cases all postings is less than cleared items or open items for a time period. How could it happen.According to my knowledge all postings should contain cleared items and open items.
    Please correct me..
    Thanks and Regards
    Arjun

    Hi Arjun,
For every Billing Documnet created(VBRK/VBRP-VBELN) there will be an accounting document created in BSID/BSAD tables.
OPEN ITEMS means the Billed/Invoice Amounts that are pending from Customers, i.e which we have to receive from Customers.
CLOSED ITEMS means the AMOUNTS received from that customer.
OPEN ITEMS : fetch data from BSID table Only
CLOSED ITEMS : fetch data from BSAD only.
ALL POSTINGS : fetch data from both BSID and BSAD.
    Hope this will help.

  • Error while reversing the asset accounting document through t code AB08

    Hello All,
i have one query where the user has scrapped the assets through T code ABAVN in the month Dec 2009 with doc date of Nov 30th 2009. Now he realised that the posting was wrong and he wants to reverse it in 1st of Jan 2010 with the t code AB08. when we click on the reverse button in t code AB08, system is by defaultly taking the fiscal year, posting date and period, only we need to give the reason code. here user is trying to give the reversal date manually and making the posting. Now system is giving an error "Reversal in different fiscal year is not possible" with the message AA487.
we are using SAP ECC 5.0 and i got SAP 1393737 for this and it is mention that there is a program error and needs to implement the program corrections.
Please can any one suggest me, is that correct approach or should i need to follow the another work around to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Venkat

Reversal in different fiscal year is not possible in the Standard
system since it will affect your balance sheet and other accounting
    legal report.
It is not possible in FI-AA to reverse
a document in this way,  "because of the calculation of depreciation"
    The reasons are:
    1. The reconciliation of FI and FI-AA must be ensured, and therefore
Posting and Asset Value Date must be in the same fiscal year.
    2. Depreciation of aquisitions posted in the previous year, are
not automatically corrected, when you post a reversal.
One way is to open the previous period(previous fiscal year) and post
the reversal to the same fiscal year. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ONLY IF YOU
HAVE NOT EXECUTED YEAR END CLOSING TRANSACTIONS.

    Hello,
The settings before 01.04.2010 were same.  However, after thorough checking of the GL A/cs, I have following observations -
    1) Plant 1 - Balance as on 31.03.2010 in Cenvat on Hold A/c -Rs. 195080. It is upload balance & t.code used is FBVB
There are some more transctions in this A/c which are  reversed due to wrong entries.
Balance in Excise Duty RG 23 C as on 31.03.2010 - NIL
    2) Plant 2 - Balance in Cenvat on Hold A/c as on 31.03.2010 is  Rs. 166701. Again this is an upload balance with FBVB
Balance in Excise Duty RG 23 C as on 31.03.2010 - Rs. 56931.62
    3) Plant 3 -  No upload balance.  All the transactions are routed through J1IEX except 1 from FB01
        Balance as on 31.03.2010 - Cenvat On Hold A/c - Rs. 86876.06
                                                     ED RG 23C  - NIL
Hence, would like to know -
    1) Any separate procedure to take the credit of upload entries?
    2) If the Balance in ED RG 23C A/c is NIL, will it affect on taking credit?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Reshma

  • Customer Open Item Clearing through F.13

    Hi
In our scenario we need to clear customer account by using f.13 standard functionality due to several debit and credit postings.
The scenario is,  first there will be a credit posting to a customer line item with special gl indicator as 'A'.   Again there will be a debit posting (normal) to the customer line item with a separate document.  In both the cases the amount is same and we are populating the same object in assignment field and reference field also in both the documents.
Now when we try to clear through f.13 by selecting customer accounts, special gl transactions and special gl indicator 'A' it is not able to clear.  It simpy shows "Category 'W' special G/L transactions were not selected".
But when we do it as a normal item in both the cases it is able to clear but in case of special gl and normal it is not.
Can you help me out in fixing the issue.
    Regards
    Brahma

    Hi Sunny,
    Please see the following :
    1. Down Payment Received (2500 INR.) F-29
    2. Customer Invoice Posted (2500 INR.) FB70
    3. Clear Down Payment (2500 INR) F-39
    4. Now Run Automatic Clearing (F.13)
And then check the Customer line item report in FBL5N. It will clear both line items.
    Hope this helps.
