Restrict extension of sales area to customer.
How to restrict a customer master only for one sales area. Is this possible?
i.e. the customer master is than not extended to another sales area.
Thanks,
Hi,
You can give XD01 & XD02 authorizations to only allowed users. This will ensure that a particular sales customer is never extended by any other user.
If you try to create an order in a sales order where the customer is not extended, then the system will throw an error.
I presume this is the best possible way to solve your query.
If helpful, please dont forget to reward points for contribution.

Error msg while assigning sales area ( A ) customer to sales area ( B)
dear friends,
I have created four account groups - SP ,SH, PY & BP respectively.
And i have four sales areas - A, B, C , D, so i created 3 different customers in each sales area under sold to party account group.
Actual problem is when i am trying to edit partners functions for a customer 'X' in sales area - A ....... it is accepting customers which are from sales area - A only.
But i have to use some of customers from other Sales area - B and assign them to the customer 'X' in the sales area - A .
checked all possible assignments ( i.e,) common - distribution channels, divisions, sales org etc
please tell me where i went wrong.
thanks & regards

Material wise Sales area and customer master
Hi,
Suppose I have a plant 4002, if i want to see all the material of plant 4002 then i can see those to following MM60 transaction code but if i want to see a particular material and that material is belongs to which sales area and which customer master then how it could be possible .
Regards
JibanjyotiHi,
You cannot see a material on customer basis unless it's MTO scenario, still try in t-code MB52.
Otherwise try in table level as suggested above.

Customer Master Sales area data Customer Tax Classification.
Hi Guru's
Want to know that hoew to increase the No. of tax classification lines in the master data. At present there are only two entries (lines) can be given for a single customer.
What is the config menu path and setting involved in order to increase these entries in the Customer master, so as to enter some more combinations in it.
For example I need the folowing combinations:-
DE - MWST - 1
GB - MWST - 4
IR - MWST -6
CH - MWST - 3
At present I am able to enter only any 2 of them and not more than that. I want a solution to enter more than 2 records in the Customer master.
Thanks. Points will be awarded.Hi
T code OVK3
Menu path img-s.d-basic functions-taxes-define taxrelavancy for master records
In that you will find for customer and material also
For material it is t code OVK4

Open Customer for Multiple Sales Areas
We need that when we save a customer from a specific sales area this customer will be opened automaticly in several sales areas and company codes (because of buisness reasons we do not use consumers).
I was not able to find a function/BADI that gives this functionality.
Please asssit,
Uri DemboHello Uri
Please correct my understanding
What you are saying is , when you create a customer in a specific sales area, it should get extended to rest of the sales areas, is that what you are saying?
If yes, then you might want to take help from your technical folks (Abapers) for auto extension of customer in other areas.
Before you do that, it is essential to understand that you have the right configuration in place.

Problem in Customer and sales Area assingment for STO
Hi Gurus,
I am working on STO cycle , while config. of STO in first step when i assinged customer and sales area to plant in NODE
"Define Shipping Data for Plants" ,here i can assinged only one customer belongs to only one Sales Area.
For Eg :- 1000/10/00 is my sales area and customer is 01
I assinged this to plant SID.
Now if i want to assinge different sales area for the same customer , Because STO will not ne happened only for one Division , it will transfer goods from many division from a single plant ,So how can assinge more division or more than one sales area to a single plant.
If through COMMON DIVISION , this problem is resolved please explain ,How means step. Because i want to assinge min 10 sales area to asingle plant means may be have to create common division funada, But how I m not getting.
Please Reply ASAP.
Devdatta JoshiDear Joshi,
1.First you do the common divisions and distribution channels through the t.codes VOR1 and VOR2.
2. You assign common sales area to the suppliying plant which you have difined in the common divisions and distribution channels.
i.e you maintain one division and one distribution channel as reference to all other divisions and distribution channels.
3.The purpose of the assigning sales area data to suppliying plant is, we are allowing the system to sale or transferinmg the goods from that suppliying palnt.
I hope it will help you
Thanks,

now goto XD01 create customer centrally
Specify the account group

Customer Master Record :Sales area INSO IN IN is not defined for customer
Hi Experts
I got error , when creating Customer Master Record .The error message likes below
"Sales area INSO IN IN is not defined for customers" .I maintained all the settings .But why i am getting again and again the same error .Even i checkd in TVTA table in SM30 but is shows clear data , please tell me where i made mistake .
I traid so many times maintain with new configuration ,but still field .Please what i have to done to over coome this issue .
Your Suggestions needful to me .. Please
Issue Details :
Message no. F2644
Diagnosis
The sales area specified has either not been defined (i.e. there is no entry in table TVTA) or it refers to another sales area for customers (customer division/customer distribution channel in the TVTA detail screen). This means that the customer master data of the sales area entered correspond to the data in the reference sales area and customer master data only needs to be maintained for this reference sales area.
Procedure
You can display the relevant and therefore valid sales areas for customers by selecting "Extras" -> "Sales areas" -> "All areas".
Regards
Rajesh .PMaintain relevant entries in t.code VOR1 and VOR2 and then try again. Here assign the distribution channels and divisions to reference distribution channel and division.

Customer sales area data not replicated to CRM
Hello,
I'm setting up the data replication model for master data based on configuration guide C03.
We have the following customer master situation:
existing customers with nr range 500000 - 599999 and account group A are created in ERP and replicated to CRM.
new customers with nr range 600000 - 699999 and account group B are created in CRM and replicated to ERP.
PIDE settings are fine.
The initial download of CUSTOMER_MAIN en CUSTOMER_REL went well. I've set a filter in CUSTOMER_MAIN on field KUNNR: value between 500000 - 699999. Everytime a sold-to business partner is created in CRM or a customer is created in ERP, the data gets replicated to the other system.
So far so good.
But here comes the problem: when I assign a sales area to a customer created in CRM (nr range 600000-699999) in ERP, the sales area data is NOT replicated back to CRM. When I assign a sales are to customer created in ERP (nr range 500000-599999) in ERP, the sales area is replicated back to CRM.
Do I have to run BUPA_MAIN? I don't think so, because sold-to business partner are already replicated to ERP.
Is the filter in CUSTOMER_MAIN not good? Should I split the nr ranges into 2 rows: 500000-599999 and 600000-699999 instead of 500000-699999
System environment:
CRM 7 EnhP2 (CRM RDS)
ERP 6 EnhP6
Kind regards,
KoenHello,
I found the problem. The PIDE was not set up completely: I only set the account group for ERP customer in the 'R3-->CRM' dialog structure. I've added the account group for CRM customers as well, and now customer data of CRM customers added in ERP, is replicated to CRM.

Sales Area Data of BP unavoidable?
Hi
i'm workin in a CRM system that has been permanently disconnected from the ERP because of a spind off/management buy out
I wanted to make standard transaction type CMIC (individual contract) in CRM usable, very very basic, without pricing functionality and any extras, just a manual amount of money to be edited in a product position and that's it.
I get the error message that the currency is not there and that the sales area data of the BP is not accessable. I get these messages before providing an item oder material number. Just after providing the sold-to-party and pressing enter. No difference if i work in WebUI or in SAP GUI CRMD_ORDER
A check shows of the BP in role CRM000 sold-to-prty shows that indeed there is no sales area maintained and no sales area data accessible / all the fields are greyed out
A check in the customizing shows one distribution channel and even a division but i think the data is corrupt, the sales area choosing fields in the BP are white without content, the BPs dont have any sales area data, all fields are greyed out. So there is no way to write any sales area data into the BP, it would be needed for hundreds of BPs anyway so this is not the way.
Now the system insists on the currency in the transaction type CMIC. The currency is copied from the sales area data from the BP. It cannot be provided manually. I will have to find a way to achieve this. I just saw, that it is the same with transaction type TA, so i guess all the sales transactions will have that problem in common
What can i do? I checked the org units in the transaction. They do have an attribute 'Currency' that is filled 'EUR' but the system doesn't care
The weird thing is that opportunities (with the same BPs and the same product) can be created without errors - and there EUR is provided as currency in the item by default...?
Any ideas
ThxIf you are a functional consultant
Once the transaction's org determination is done, you can always check the information from the Header Organization tab. This is you know already. If you want to know the Sales Areas a Business Partner (sold-to) is maintained, then go the BP maintenance (Transactio BP ), select the appropriate role - in your case sold-to role of the BP. If you are already not in the Sales Area then click the Sales Area Data button in the toolbar. Then click Choose sales area button in the Sales Area section.Inthe popup, if you click the Maintained Sales Areas, you will see the actual Sales areas the customer has been extended to.
I am sure you know the above facts too. Well,
If you are a technical consultant
The Sales Org details of the transaction can be erad using the function module CRM_ORGMAN_READ-xxx There are more than one FM to read depending upon where you want to read that from - like from the order buffer (good in BAdIs when creating / chaning the order) or fromthe DB. Pick one you want.
To read the Sales area of a sold to BP, the data is available in the table CRMM_BUT_FRG0080 You can get the maintained sales area information for a given BP. You can also use the function module CRM_BUPA_FRG0080_READ
If this is not what you wanted, then you must rephrase your question for me to understand.

Single Invoice for two sales areas
Hello SAP Gurus,
I have a scenario that Iu2019ll appreciate if a solution could be proffered
Contractually, a customer requires materials from a company (company code), and these materials will be sold from 2 or more sales areas within the company code. However, a single invoice, which will list the items and their individual prices, is what is required to be given the customer. What solution can I use to resolve this?
ThanksHi luqmon
Say you have material - MAT1 ; Customer - 1000 ; 1st sales area is - 1000/10/10 ; 2nd sales area - 2000/20/20
So make sure that the material MAT1 is available in both sales areas
Even customer (KUNNR) is also available in both sales areas . If you have created in 1st sales area then extended it to 2nd sales area.
Maintain same pricing procedure for both sales areas in OVKK
Maintain a access sequence with the key combination Sales orgn / material . and assign the access sequnece to the Pricing (PR00) condition type
Now Maintain the condition record for the material MAT1 in VK11 , with the key combination of sales orgn / material
Now when you create the sales order and do delivery , PGI and when you do billing then you can see the price of the material maintained in that VK11 based on sales orgn
But yours can be solved either with a LIS report also

Hi Experts,
I know that in standard, we can not change the sales area in sales order, but my problem is that suppose when I create a sales order, I dont know that what distribution channel should be taken.
Suppose I create a sales oder taking the distribution channel 'direct sale' but the actual distribution channel is 'dealer'.
Is there any direct or indirect way, so that I can further change my sales area in sales order.
Thanks in advance,
Vishal SinghHi
Thee is no way to correct the distribution channel in the order because its copied from the customer master. If you doesn't know the correct one while creating the order just enter the order type and press enter. So that it will take it to creationscreen. Then enter the customer thensystem will give the pop up with all the sales areas that customer was crated. Then select the correct one so that you can rectify the errors.
I hope it will clear.

Customers, Sales Orders Restrictions based on Sales Office and Sales Groups
hi all,
We have a typical scenario for one of our customers. They are SAP ERP, ECC 6.0.
They have sales employees/managers assigned to customers. In order to maintain the link between the sales employees and the customers, their earlier implementation partner followed the following method for the linkage.
Each sales employee and each sales managers are given a SAP User ID like 101, 012, 103 etc.. Sales groups OR Sales offices are also maintained with the same numbers/IDs. At the customer master level, each customer's sales group is given the sales employee ID (which is same as that of the sales group). The example is as follows.
Customer No. Sales Group Sales Office
CU1 101 108
CU2 101 108
CU3 102 108
CU4 103 109
CU5 104 110
The sales group names and the sales offices names are given the same names as that of the user IDs of the sales employees/sales managers. In the above example, the sales employee 101 (sales group 101) is assigned to customers CU1, CU2. The sales manager 108 (Sales office 108) is managing the sales employees 101 and 102.
Now the customer has some authorization issues. He wants us to provide authorizatinos in such a way that -
if the sales employee 101 logs on to the system he should be able to Display the CUSTOMERS and the Sales Orders (XD03, VD03, VA03) that are assinged only to him (In other words with the sales group 101) and similarly for other sales employees.
if the sales manager 108 logs on to the system he should be able to display the customers and the sales orders that are assigned to his sales employees (101, 102). In other words with the sales office as the manager's ID 108.
I tried to use the authorization object V_VBKA_VKO but this doesnt see to be serving the purpose as this object is not being checked at all in any of the above VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
Similarly I did not find any other authorization object which makes use of Sales group field and Sales office field which also has a linkage to VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
The customer is evaluating our contract with them based on this solution.
Any help is greatly and highly appreciate.
Thanks,
Niran.Hi,
Please use the following authorization objects for your purpose. For more details please go through the documentation of the objects:
V_KNA1_BRG Customer: Account Authorization for Sales Areas
V_KNA1_VKO Customer: Authorization for Sales Organizations

How to Extend Sales Area data for a BP
Hello Experts,
I am working on CRM 7.0 and the requirement is to add a new new field in Complaints Tab in Sales Area Data screen of Business Partner in GUI as well as WebUI.
Question-> Can we add the new field in WebUI using AET? Does it supports extension of relevant Assignment block(Sales Area data->Complaints and Returns)? If yes then how can we add the same field in GUI after that? If not then what is the alternate solution and Can we use BDT to fulfil this requirement?
I assumed that EEWB does not supports extension of Sales Area data for a business partner. Please let me know if I have got it wrong.
Regards,
AmitYou can use AET to extend the sales area data of BP. However, it wont add the fields automatically in GUI, But the generated fields are available in the relevant DB tables.
BP GUI transaction is no more supported . Im not sure why you want to work on GUI.

Shaik
