8120 call list and email list resets

I have a Pearl 8120 and the call list and email / SMS list keeps resetting.  It's fairly frustrating since I can't retain emails for long or return some calls.
The software is up to date and I'm using Desktop 6 (just downloaded).
Any tips would be appreciated.

1.  First thing? Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free?
Now, leaving the device powered ON, remove the battery of your device, hold a minute, replace and reboot. What is the File Free now?
2. What is your Operating System loaded to your device?
Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.x.xxx"

    After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning audio issues:
    iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker

    Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
    Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
    If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
    Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
    If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.

  • IPhone 5 vibrates with incoming call, message, and email but there is no ring tones.

    Recently had to replace my IPhone.  Repaced the SIM card and backed up on ITunes.  Everything works fine but I get no ring or sounds when receiving calls, messages, and emails, etc.  Phone does vibrate.  Speaker is working with music. Volume is turned on in settings.

    Check the mute switch near the external volume controls. If orange is showing it is muted.

    If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Problem with call log and email signature.​..

     Hi, I have 2 little problem with my BB
    First, the day won't appear in the call logs. It only displays the month like 08/dd.

    Second, when I send emails, my signature gets all mixed up because of my french punctuation, any idea why ?

    Wow, that's REALLY low. That number means there's only 6MB free. It's recommended to have AT LEAST 15MB free. Check under Options | Status, hit the menu button, then choose Database Sizes. What number is listed for Total Size at the top?
    If the Content Store is really big then that means all of the media files (pictures, videos, etc) are being saved in the device memory rather than on a media card. Does your boss have a media card to store the media on?
    Did you also change the Keep Appointments setting to something lower like you did with the Keep Messages setting?

    You're facing memory constraints in your device. Perform the following steps -
    Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30sec.
    Check how much memory is free in your device to Options -> Status -> Free Memory. To view all the database size go to Option -> Status -> click Menu button then select Database Sizes
    Delete less frequently used application. To delete go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete -> click Menu and select Delete
    If you stored your picture in device memory them move them to your media card

  • Handset losing call logs, texts and emails

    Hi,
    I have an ongoing problem with my BB and am not getting much sense from my network provider (BT Business).
    Here's a bit off history:
    I started the contract in November 2011 with a Torch 9860.  I had numerous problems with the phone freezing and randomly losing data such as texts, call logs and emails.  In 9 months I've had 5 phones and 1 sim card change, 2 weeks ago BT changed the handset to a Torch 9810.
    The phone has worked fine till Friday when it started doing funny things like randomly receiving texts which were from old conversations.  On saturday afternoon it lost all data by way of texts, call logs and emails that were over 24 hours old and in the last hour has lost everything over 6 hours old.
    I have all calls, texts and emails going into the messages list and have that set to save everything for ever so I can chose when to delete information.
    As I;m a consultant I need my call logs, texts and emails to work out my billing so this really is a pain.
    I really do think this is a network issue rather than the handset.
    Can anyone offer any ideas/solutions before I phone BT in the morning?

    That is a very tiny database size. Go into your camera options and see where your pictures are being saved.
    Something is not right. There is no reason your free memory should be so low with such small database sizes and very few apps installed. You should be pushing 200+ MB of free memory.

    How can I change it when I cannot view it on my account. I am not even sure how this got setup.

    If you mean your rescue email address, it's in the Passwords and Security section, after you answer the two security questions.

  • Z3 Compact calls list and sms loading slowly

    Hi I have a Z3 compact D5803 that I have updated to 5.0.2.  Ever since then when i open the dialer (phone) it takes a few minutes to load all the recent call list and the dialer is unresponsive. The same happens when opening the sms messages.  I have done a reset and reinstall and waited 7 days and the delays still persist. Any ideas what I can do?

  • Outlook 2013 contacts resolve to email on Lync 2013 "calls" list.

    Seems that at least for some of my users, Lync 2013 (and not Lync 2010 clients), their contacts fail to resolve to "name" and instead resolve to email.
    The related setting in Lync 2013 settings is set properly (even unticked, ok, ticked back, ok).
    If user asks for contact details within Lync 2013 client, the client properly pops-up the contact details fully. But the "calls" list doesn't show the names. It DOES show the names of internal contacts.
    Environment is SBS2011 (Exchange 2010) with Lync 2013 server. 
    Any ideaS?

    The second sign is of headset connected. If it is present without any headset connected then contact Nokia Care. The first sign is not that clear. Is it a lock? Also sice when is the dialled number shown as empty? If its recent you will have to contact Nokia care as you've done all that can be done by a user.

    2. If BP replies thru email then the campaign is created manually in the system.
    3.dont know this point sorry for that...
    4. For lead generation as communication medium, the survey can be attached as document with the activity generated in the transaction template.

    1. To create a telephone campaign, use the channel as telephone,and use workflow send target group to Channel,assign a  segment ,when you automate the campaign ,a call list gets generated which is visible using transaction CRMD_TM_CLDIST.
    2.Email campaign response is recieved in the form of interaction object,for  this make sure -
    In the Customizing for campaign execution, you have defined a communication medium with a communication method with which no activities are created (for example, e-mail without activities), in other words, no transaction type is maintained. To do this, in the screen Define Communication Methods and Transaction Types leave the field Transaction Type blank.
    In transaction SIFC, you have activated the service CRM_SEND_SCREEN, to avoid being prompted again for your password.
    You can search for the interaction object by using the locator search in activity management, IC WinClient, IC WebClient, business partner fact sheet, and account management. The interaction object is identified by its own icon.
    If there is a questionnaire (survey) assigned to that campaign,you can view it together with teh interaction object or you can independently view it in  Tx code CRM_SURVEY_SUITE, using  the evaluation button ,which is visible in the toolbar as bar graph symbol.
    3.  For survey analysis (without BW) prerequisite required is that when making the survey,remember to check mark Evaluation without BW in the mainatin survey attributes buttton available  in the toolbar.
    4.Questionnaire can be assigned in the channels tab in survey ID field.

    Are the contact details in your contacts app, the phone app uses the contact app to put names against telephone numbers.
