Add new contact person in contact management

Hi All,
I have been created email in contact management(SRM).
in Tab "General", Contact person field, i cannot select new item/New contact person from combobox.
I have read at HELP file,then i found to add new contact person in contact management, go to SRM menu -> Customizing(UCUS0) ->in the left panel -> clik contact - > double clik contact person.I can direcly add new contact person.
but after i added new contact person.i still can't select new contact person in "General tab(Contact management)".
can u tell me how to solve this problem?

Dear William,
There are some notes for enabling the b2b flag. E.g. 1263919 and 1263915 and likely some more. So, that might help you figure out if perhaps you have missing settings for this feature.
But based on the limited information you provided it seems that "Segmentation based on relationships" would be suitable. You can check [SAP help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm700_ehp01/helpdata/en/37/fc60e3bebf4a9ba7121c00e295b3fd/frameset.htm ] for this topic. I was not sure what you meant by "but how to replace the contact person function?"

    The Partner determination for our Activity Management's Contact Person is set up this way:
    1 - Number of occurences (Highest): 1
    2 - Access Sequence: Preceding Document > BP Relationships: Activity Partner
    However, whenever I input the Activity Partner in the business activity, the contact person does not get determined automatically.

    Anyway, I was able to solve it by checking:

  • Main contact person Worklist FSCHM

    Hi  Experts,
    I am getting an issue due to I would like to change  the main contact person to add notes in Work list collection management.
    At the moment I can select manually different contact persons. It means that the relationship exist and is working. But I have one main contact person by default in the worklist.
    If I would like to change the contact person for an existing one and later on keep the change as default in the worklist , how can I do it?

    Main contact person worklist:
    Just the last creation in customer master data is the main contact person in the worklist. You can change manually the contact person in collection management but it is not by default. 
    If you would like to have it by default you have to create the new contact person in Account receivable and the last creation will be the main contact person.

  • Activate Contact Person Functionallity in Vendor master

    Hi Colleagues,
    We have an issue with Contact Person functionality in Vendor master, specifically with his activation in order to use that funtion menu (Goto -> General Data -> Contact Person). Actually this command is missing in our  system.
    Customizing nodes about contact person (IMG -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Vendor Master -> Contact Persons) specify as mandatory requisite set the system as a Retail SAP System.
    We analized the information and executed report GETSYSDEF and the system showed message SYSTEMSWITCH016 "System is set as a manufacturing system"
    Our SAP system is a mySAP ERP 5.0 with component SAP_APPL level 0021.
    We have several doubts related above explanations:
    Is the system able to be customized as a Retail system without loose or damage some actual component (his functionality) as manufacturing system?
    Which is the procedure to follow in order to activate Retail SAP System?
    Is enough to make settings on IMG node "Activation Switch for SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set" flagging on application "EA-RET" or in other hand, there are other additional or different steps to make?
    I appreciate any help you can offer me. Thanks in advance.

    First thanks for your response.
    We don´t want to change manufacturing system for retail system, We try to find the way to add retail system to our actual manufacturing system only for get contact person functionality.
    We need to use that functionality on vendors at tx XK01 or tx XK02 / MK02, in order to link all vendor contacts making a validation of each one against a table Z containing prohibited values. If a contact person would exist in that table the system would show an error message.
    I hope to be clearly in my explanation. Thanks again for your help.

  • How to assign contact person with user id to vendor via upload

    Dear All,
    We have successfully uploaded external business partner (Vendor) from ECC6 to SRM5.0  via BBPGETVD. So vendor is available in PPOMV_BBP.
    Now we would like to assign the contact person with user ID to this vendor so that he can logon to our system and update Bid.
    If we create contact person (employee) via "Manage Business Partner", system provides the option to create contact person and User ID under "Employee for Business Partner".
    But we can create contact person one by one, if our client have 600 vendors from ECC and already transferred to SRM.
    How to rapidly create and assign contact person to all vendors ?
    Who have any ideas for upload via text file or excel sheet please advice me.

    You can use this bapi to create customer along with personal contact data
    BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1
    check the PI_PERSONALDATA in import parameter.
    Or if the customer is already create then u can use this Function modules to
    /SAPNEA/SMAPI_CUSTOMER_CHANGE
    BAPI_CUSTOMER_CHANGEFROMDATA1
    to add the personal data.

  • Deactivate replication of contact persons from R/3 to CRM

    Hi,
    i'm replicating customer relationships from ECC6 to CRM2007. All fine, including z-partner functions etc.
    One thing Im baffled by however is the replication of contact persons. Contact persons will be created in CRM only, without any integration/replication with ECC6. Since there are existing contact persons in the ECC6 master, I want to deactivate that replication.
    So I hae deleted the mapping for master data transfer in CRM in the IMG under Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from SAP ECC into CRM
    and Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC.
    But if I create a contact person in ECC6, it STILL replicates through to CRM!! Any ideas how to de-activate that replication? I don't want to end up with failed BDOCs in the middleware if posible.

    Hi Srikanth,
    thanks a lot for your reply. However the approach needs to be a bit more sophisitcated than that. I do replicate through a number of r?3 partner functions into relationships in CRM, e.g. ship-to and 3 z-functions (promary CSR etc.). That all works fine and needs to stay that way.
    However I do need to deactivate the replication of the R/3 contact persons to CRM.

    I need to create a contact person that will be used by multiple customer masters. Is it possible to set up an independent customer master and then reference it within the partner funcitons of an e.g. sold-to?

    Hi,
    You can create a contact person using the transaction code VAP1. This contact person can be assigned in the partner tab of customer master, you can assign it where ever you want.
    Path: Logistics-->Sales and Distribution -->Master data ---> Business Partner --> Contact Person --Create contact person.

    For segmenting organizations, say based on marketing attributes as data source, CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP function module assignment in datasource would do the work.
    I have copied following from SAP help -
    Segmentation Based on Relationships
    Segmentation based on relationships offers you maximum flexibility when modeling target groups, especially in business-to-business scenarios. You can now select business partners using filters for both personal data as well as data relating to the business partner's organization. All required information on the business partner, such as contact person, organization, and relationship type is saved with the target group. In the campaign, the contact person is contacted using the address data of the contact person's organization.
    You can also use segmentation based on relationships in the business-to-consumer environment. For example, you could segment according to the relationship between father and son to find all fathers with sons in a particular age group.
    Prerequisites
    You have defined data sources that are capable of providing the business partner relationship information. In the case of InfoSets, this means that the InfoSet itself contains all the fields required to provide the partner function information.
    A conversion function is needed for the data sources Business Intelligence Cube and Attribute Set. This function uses a function module to deliver the required information (for example, contact person for an organization). Each relationship type requires its own function module. The following function modules are delivered as examples:

    Another example would be a campaign where you want to contact all male business partners from the region "South" and who have more than one child, one of whom is under one year old. During the campaign execution, the campaign letter should be sent to the business partner's private address and should contain the name of the child who is younger than one year old.

    Kindly let me know how to delete the Contact persons or contact person number which is assigned to the Customer master
    In Production system, Business Users will not have authorization to open the Customer master in Change mode(VA02).
    They want to delete the Contact Person : VAP2.
    Is there any program or BAPI available to delete?

  • How to extract,list of users linked as contact person to which customer?

    Is it possible to extract from CRM production system a complete list showing which users are
    linked as contact persons to which customers?
    As you can imagine it is top critical that customer users are never linked to any other customer accounts than their own, so we need to implement a regular validation of these relationships. With our  number of customers and users it is impossible to check one-by-one in CRM, but with following information in a regularly provided list, it would be reasonably easy:
    Customer BP
    Customer name
    Customer Sales Office
    Contact person BP
    Contact person name
    Contact person user ID
    Date of relationship creation
    Please advice.

    Hi Pravin,
    The information you need is available in three tables/visions:
    - BUT000 - For BP numbers and names
    - BUT050 - For BP relationships (BUR001 is the one for contact person)
    - CRMV_BP_FRG0140 - For sales office (you have to use partner_guid field)
    I don't know any standard report that will delivery this information as this. But based on this tables, you can build your own, or make a sap query/quickviewer to get this information.

  • Loading contact person to multiple customers

    Hi all, is there any enhancement that would allow the loading of the contact person to multiple customers? any hint?
    For example, I have two customers that have the same contact person (same contact person number), how could I build an enhancement to assign automatically the contact person to the two of them. Transaction XD99 is not allowing me to assign the same contact to different customers.

    Yes there is transaction BP available in ECC, but the business partner is for cross application components.
    I tried it but I don't find any of the customers using BP. I think we need some settings to link cusotmers and BP with in ECC.
    I dont think this is mandatory for the SAP E-commerce scenario.
    I know we do the sync of BP in CRM to the customers in R/3 when we have the SAP CRM E-commerce scenario.
    Please let me know if we can sync the BP and Cusotmers data with in ECC.

  • Problems with email set-up option 2 selected when option one needed ie add an email personal

    Hello All,
    My new 8520 arrived yesterday, I ask my daughter to set it up for me as she has one. Everything was going ok until I think she pressed the option for email as if I had a work email address which i dont i think option one should have been pressed ie add new email/personal home user email. I cannot seem to get back to that option all I get is has your blackberry admin given user name/number etc.
    Also on the setup box the only icons I have are set-up wizard set up wi-fi and set up bluetooth. Can anyone help me out please, do I need to reset-phone to factory settings or something??

    Please do this:
    Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    After the boot-up, you should be able to again freshly launch the email setup wizard. If you are only presented with Enterprise, then you need to contact your carrier to ensure that you have the proper data account on your BB to enable the services you desire:
