I use Trial product and trial product does not work at all surely I will think adobe products don't work at all eh??
specifically Photoshop Elements 12 stopped working so I bought 'Photoshop Elements 13 that worked even more poorly and now I am on the thirty day trial ... but you know that doesn't work when you put it out there

There must be something wrong with your computer if none of the software is working. There are millions of users who work with these software programs every day. I have no problem using any of the programs that I use. Please describe your computer:
What operating system?
How much RAM (memory)?
How much free disk space?
What exactly happens when you try to use the software?
Please provide as many details as possible.

Adobe changes my numeric field to include commas when validation fails

Adobe changes my numeric field to include commas when validation fails. My numeric validation setting is num{zzzzzzz9.99}. I want my numeric field to display as 99999999.00, no commas and only to have 2 decimals places. I added this validation to the Display, Edit, Validation and Data tabs under the validation pattern dialog box.
When validation fails, adobe changes the display of the field to include commas and drops the decimal places:
999,999,999
How can I prevent this from happening? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
I've also added a change event to the field as well:
\\only allows numbers and period.

I want it to display only numbers followed by 2 decimal places.

If I type all numbers in my field like 999999999999 and I go over the character limit of 11. My validation fails and then my numeric field is displayed with commas, 999,999,999 without the 2 decimal places. Is there a way to prevent adobe from automatically changing my fields?

Adobe changed the menu short cuts in Photoshop CC?

Hi,
there are some changes in the menu short cuts in Photoshop CC for Windows:
For many versions: ALT + "I" --> followed by "I" opened the "Image Size" in the "Image" menu.
Now, in CC, ALT+I -> + I opens "Analysis" ... why did Adobe changed this? And how can I return to the old standard behaviour?

Yep. Lots of shortcuts depend on the order and timing when using them. But Alt brings up the menu bar on most Windows applications, from where you can see which letter is underlined to action a specific menu.
A good example of this in Photoshop (later versions) is presing Alt while using the Brush. Initially the Eye dropper becomes active, but pressing the right mouse button changes it to brish size and hardness control. But most of this sort of thing becomes pure muscle memory eventually.
It's like typing. Your fingers know where all the letters are without you thinking about it, but if someone asked where a particular letter is on a QWERTY key board while you were away from your computer, you might have to think very hard before answering them.

Adobe changed how the mousewheel scrolls timeline in CS6...

I scroll through the timeline alot using my mousewheel. In premiere CS5.5, if I position the mouse cursor over the timeline and use the mousewheel to scroll... I can get move the timeline from one side of the screen to the other in less than 8 mousewheel turns. And I can do a fast scroll if I position the mouse cursor over the scrollbar under the timeline... less than 3 mouse wheel turns.
This worked great because I can scan through the audio waveforms of a 3 hour lecture really quickly.
However, in Premiere CS6... it now takes 25 spins of the mouse wheel and they disabled fast scrolling.
Is there a way to customize the mousewheel scrolll? Changing the mouse scroll wheel settings in Windows does nothing.
This is the third annoying thing Adobe changed in CS6 that reduced the speed of my workflow.

Can Adobe change Reader (XI) on my computer to version compatible with my operating system?

I have the incorrect version of Adobe Reader on my computer. I have the Adobe PDF Pack/PDF to Office file converter, version XI. I was told by an Adobe telephone consultant earlier that this version was not compatible with my Windows 7 operating system and that was why my documents were coming out garbled. However, when I reviewed my billing a couple of months ago with Adobe, it was found that I had duplication for different Adobe products. Adobe has corrected this, but assured me at the same time that I had paid for a year for my PDF converter. I think at that time, the incorrect version (XI) appeared on my machine again. I need to change the PDF converter back to the old subscription, so that my documents are not garbled when they are converted to Word documents. Please help. Why is Adobe changing my fonts when I convert from publisher to pdf?

I've just started using the pdf conversion plug-in to convert from publisher 2007 to pdf. The way it was explained to me was that no matter what style of font you use it should be embedded in the file so that when someone opens the file they will read it in exactly the same style as I used to create it. I am a volunteer for a non-proft org. (my church) and each year we publish a small booklet and sell space to local businesses who contribute to the well-being of my church. This is the first year I'm using the pdf conversion but when I checked how the ad would look in adobe reader some of the fonts were changed and I can't seem to correct the problem. It doesn't happen with all the fonts which makes it even stranger. Anyone got any advice, suggestions, etc. Thanks.

Adobe changes after installing Dragon

Help. I recently installed Dragon 11, i'm running Acrobat 9 on win 7.
Adobe recognized the speech program, asked me questions which i now regret not thinking through, and now opens docs with text recognition - i can highlite, etc. - which i may find nice in the future, but i rarely would care to do things like that - and now the document font is....well i don't now what it is except terrible. I've cruised "preferences" and aimlessly made changes to accessibility, documents, etc. w/out success. I also did the move of accessibility & reader files suggested elsewhere, but didn't revert.
I'd like to return to the crisp, professional-looking files/fonts when i open docs.

I discovered problem. Apparently smooth text rendering was disabled - i guess that makes sense to help a text program. I went to preferences>page display and re-enabled rendering smooth test.

What silent install command line option will Adobe change to next?

I just discovered that Adobe has, yet again, changed the command line syntax for doing a silent install of the flash player. Apparently it's now just "-install" to do a silent install. Which makes me wonder, what will they call it next version?

Contacting adobe/changing email/I need help!!!

Ok. This is all very complicated.
I bought photoshop student edition a couple of years ago (March 2013) through amazon. I have since changed colleges and computers so I am trying to put photoshop on my new computer, however I can't get my serial number. The email address that I registered my product with has since been deleted since I changed colleges so when I try to access anything on my adobe it asks me to confirm my email address which I can't do because it doesn't exist anymore. I can't even change the email address without confirming the old one. I had to use a different account to even post on this forum. Here's what I have tried:
Looked for the box and CD but I must have lost them while moving.
Looked in past emails (emails from my student account were forwarded to my personal account) and could not find one with my serial number
Tried to login to the old account with the old email address and was't able to access my products without confirming my email address that doesn't exist anymore
Here's what I do have:
Emails from Amazon confirming my purchase
Email from Adobe saying 'get the most from your new Photoshop CS6 software.
Photoshop on my old computer, but it is currently broken so I would have to get the computer fixed to access it.
I really wish I could just call someone in Adobe to work this out but it looks like posting here is literally my only option. If anyone could help I would reallllllllly appreciate it.

Adobe change my Creative Cloud to Trial version

Hi, I paid my Creative Cloud monthly fees for the first time then Adobe send me email that there is a problem to get money for the second month .. so they change my CC as trial .So, what can i do ? , I have't any problem with my visa . Now , what about make another order? or they can take my monthly fees twice as two orders not one ? could anyone advice me , please.

Is Adobe changing rules midstream for existing Adobe Create customers?

Why could I create an MS word document from a pdf a month ago under my adobe create annual subscription but cannot do it now without an upgratde? My last year's subscription is still active and has not yet expired. Are you really changing the rules midstream for current subscribers ?

Adobe changed all my icons

Hi I am not that computer friendly but can follow clear instructions. However I have visited Microsoft technical help and what came up was to either fix windows file registry or clear or fix the icon cache, none of which was something I have done dare not make a mistake and the instructions weren't that clear. In the past I have never had a problem with Adobe but its just suddenly started. I am running windows 7, Internet Explorer and my laptop is a Pavilion HP g series. I would value any help please because I have to keep un installing and re installing when I want to use it. It hasn't changed the Word icons, just appears to be windows programmes and Internet Explorer. Many thanks.

RoboHelp 10:Did Adobe change how RoboHelp 10 handles CSS stylesheets in the .htm files that are generated?

I work on Java application that utilitzes the .chm and .jar file (which include the .htm files) to display our applications help documentation. We recently upgraded from RoboHelp 8 to RoboHelp 10. The .htm files that were generated with RoboHelp 8 display fine. However, the new .htm files generated by RoboHelp 10 seem to ignore the CSS stylesheets used. I compared one of the .htm files from RoboHelp 8 to the same .htm file in RoboHelp10. I did notice differences within the files. Can you tell me what the differences are, regarding the usage of CSS stylesheets, between RoboHelp 8 & RoboHelp 10?

Not sure but I believe it may be a bug in the Microsoft Help Compiler over which Adobe have no control. Microsoft last updated in 2004. Good luck!
