Ant, eclipse help is needed please!!
Hi all,
I have a quick question in regard of ant and eclipse. If any of you know how to resolve this problem, please let me know . ok so the problem is the following.
Is there a way to use Apache ANT to compile and execute a particular file in eclipse without specifying the class name? I can do that in cygwin using VIM with the command %:t:r However, I haven't found the solution to do so in eclipse. Any idea or tip or solution is appreciated very much.
i.e. I can do this in cygwin. ant -target=%:t:r run this will automatically pick up the java file that I am currently working on and run it without telling ant which class I want to run. SO I would like to do the same in eclipse.

I had jakarta-oro-2.0.8.jar (which seems to work fine) but not
commons-net.jar !!

You need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, install it, and run the 10.6.8 combo updater. Mac OS X 10.6 requires a Mac with an Intel CPU and at least 1GB of RAM.

My Mother's account has been taken over. She received an e-mail saying that her e-mail was changed, there was a link to report the abuse, but to do it you need to sign in - we can't, since that person changed the password most likely.
I can't contact ANY service, there is no live chat for me, no phone to call.

Self Assigned IP - Fixed, but help still needed, please
I'll add a bit of a back story first which I hope will help people understand my issue, but also hopefully lead people with a self-assigned IP issue to a fix (link is within the post)
I’m on on an iMac 20″ Mid 2007. I recently updated to OSX Lion after having wifi connection issues in Leopard. I used to randomly get kicked off my wifi and given a self assigned IP. With Leopard, the issue was fixed by applying a manual IP, router address etc and restarting. The issue would return months later, but I got over it after a few tantrums.
Then as soon as I updated to Snow Leopard, I instantly had no internet access and I could only upgrade to Lion if I downloaded system updates. So after a few hours of searching, I toggled my internet sharing ‘on & off’ and that was enough for that fix.
But then I upgraded to Lion and again, no internet. And nothing worked for me at all, every fix on the internet I tried failed. If my airport ever managed to connect to my router I would get a self assigned IP. Or it would say it was connected but there was no internet. So I hunted for hours and eventually found this:

This did work for me. The fix is to flush your ipfw through terminal, and it worked for me instantly.
However, I now have another issue that I really hope people can help me with. It's not as annoying as the above, but my god it's still very annoying!
Here are some bullets to show the tedious routine I have to go through in order to connect to the internet via my airport.
• I turn on my mac and my it tries to connect to my router automatically. But after a minute of trying, it says it can’t connect.
• I select my router manually from the list and have to enter my password manually, even though it is already saved in my Keychain.
• It then connects and says, ‘Connected but no internet’, so I leave it for two minutes and throw things around the room.
• After those 2 minutes it connects to the internet. But no, I can’t browse the web as the browser says 'DNS look up failure'.
• So I open terminal, enter 'sudo ipfw flush' to flush my ipfw and BINGO, I’m online 5 minutes after logging on to my machine.
The router I am using was only issued to me 8 months ago by my new ISP here in the UK, it connects via WEP and has always been stable for every other device I have connected to it. But I am going to ring up my ISP and see if there is a new router I can get.
If anyone - ESPECIALLY APPLE who seem to be shying away from admitting there has ever been an airport wifi issue - has any information to advise me, then please let me know.
Also if you are having a Self Assigned IP address issue and that fix above works, give the man some credit on his blog, and if you know him, give him a kiss from me!

I spoke to my ISP to see if they had any newer routers and if they did WPA now.
I have a new router on its way and they have updated my router to do WPA!
The result?
I now connect to my router automatically after a restart. No issue there.
However,
It still can't find the internet when it first connects.
I still have to wait 2 minutes for it to find the net.
I still have DNS issues once connected
I still have to flush ipfw before it works correctly. -

I have no choice but to write to you about my horrible expereince.
I have purchased 2 laptop from Best Buy.com via ebay site from BestBuy account.
The laptop fails to meet the standard since they always crashes and we need to return these 2 laptops ASAP.
We got the notice and approval from BestBuy that we can return the laptop via BestBuy store or mail it back by requesting a RMA pre-postage paid RMA Label.
I have been to the Best Buy Store and was refused to return these laptops.
I have called customer services and spoke with even the supervisor and was assured that the lable would be emailed it to me so I can return the machine --- that was 4 days ago.
I have emailed in Ebay to Bestbuy over 30 times and was promised the RMA labels to be emailed it to me, and as of today, I have gotten no labels.
I have then called once again yesterday and the customer service promised that it will be emailed it to me, and the lables are not in my email.
As the return period is approaching in a few days, There is no way I can return these laptops without the prepostage RMA labels which were promised to me time after time after time.
Would you please kindly look into the issues for me please?

Virus on mac pro...help/advice needed please.

I've just run Clamxav scan on my mac pro & it's showing an infected file in my USER directory, named .rserv & the infection name is OSX.Flashback-8
Tried to delete this file in Clamxav & it says its moved it to trash, but when i look in trash its empty! Then, when I rerun the scan it again says the file is still there in my users directory. However I can't find this file using Finder. Clamxav says it's located at: users/my name/.serv
Can someone please tell me 1 - what is this file? & 2 - How the **** do i get rid of it?
btw, the 1st time i ran the scan it showed 2 other suspicious files that I sent to trash & then emptied the trash... one was a file called download.dmg (with the infection name Adware.OSX which was in my downloads folder) & the 2nd file name was called Tube2FileSetup.exe (infection name Trojan.Agent-290842 again this was in my download folder). These no longer appear to be on my system.

Lightroom Help desperately needed please.
Hello all Im praying someone can help me here as no one has been able to yet. I have Light room and Ive imported my pics from new york but the thumb nails along the bottom of the editor are all orange, at first they appear normal as they looked in camera and as I saw with my own eyes at the time of taking them but once imported into LR the thumbails are normal until i click 1 then they all turn orange.Its driving me mad as I cant start playing with my pics. I'll post some pics of what I mean and my colour manangement settings etc etc. Ive been told it could monitor settings, profiles etc but I have no idea what im looking for, a walk through of how fix this would be amazing thanks guys in advance

Deploying servlet on Tomcat using "ant install" not working. Please help.

I have downloaded and installed the JWSDP 1.3. and Tomcat is running. I am also using Ant 1.5.4 (previous installation - not one included with JWSDP) and modeled my build.xml file after the template provided here:

I am trying to get my environment set up correctly before I start spending time developing servlets, but I am getting tempted to just develop to servlets and "manually" installing/deploying them either by copying and pasting or by using the Tomcat manager. I need to use windows in order to use Visual C++ for college but I don't have enough space in my internal Hard Drive so I want to install windows 7using boot camp or any other method on a portable hard drive and boot from it.

You can use a VM and put the VM image (VHD) anywhere any drive you want.
You are way too low on disk space, seriously so. And no room - even Windows and Mac OS should be warning and balking already.
"emulator" is an old-school term, even true, running a Guest OS under Mac's as a virtual machine, shared resources (RAM, processor) is easier but not the same performance level as running natively.

Help needed please, everytime I try to update the software version on my iphone it comes up with a message saying it could not be completed and is now frozen with the apple picture and progress bar on it. Do I unplug it and hope the macbook pro sees it again, I also stupidly did not back up before starting the download which I realise I will have to go back to the previous back up. This keeps happening, everytime I do this type of update, I'm starting to think I should just give up on updating my software on the Iphone. I thought it was happening because I was using a window based computer to do the updates, this time I used my Macbook Pro. Please somebody help

My phone 5s 16gb gold did the new update and will not come back on. I already tried hard reboot still won't work. Been over a hour now. Please someone help I need my phone. This phone is not even 6 months old been in case no scratches. This is driving me crazy.
