ARB Issue: Styling Component Parts

Please comment by EOD April 6th. Thanks!

Hey there again,
Just bringing a few updates to this subject. I have tried to enforce some specific behavior on af|menu::child-container, calling it according to its container, like this:
af|panelGroupLayout.MyClass1 af|menu::child-container {
     position:fixed !important;
     top:100px !important;
af|panelGroupLayout.MyClass2 af|menu::child-container {
     position:fixed !important;
     top:200px !important;
and, even though the browsers see this exact code (tried with both IE Dev Tool and Firebug), the behavior is still the default one (position:static I guess and, by default, the top property is ignored). I also tried the same for af|menu::scroll-box, af|menu::scroll-content and tried the syntax af|menu::bar-item > table.nth-child(2) {position: fixed; top:100px} (tried this because the 2nd child of the af|menu::bar-item is an html table and indeed, as I said above, the browser sees my specifications for this component but still does not apply them.)
Just to make it clear, when I say that the browser sees my specifications I mean that it's not just some css that's overwritten by the default component behavior. Firebug / IE Dev Tool say that my specifications are applied, yet the desired behavior does not happen. It's the first time that I encounter a component that does not respect the specifications stated in Firebug / IE Dev Tool.
I honestly believe this is a framework bug. If anybody has any clue about this kind of behavior, please let me know.
Thanks,
Toma

  • Issues during Component Batch Determination for Process Orders

    Hi,
    I am encountering a strange issue during component batch determination of process order.
    1. During creation of process order, when I execute batch determination, systems does determination based on strategies we have set and when I click on Copy it gives an error
    "Log cannot be saved: Object/subobject not specified"
    Message no. BL201
    *Diagnosis
    Log save cancelled because at least one log contains no object or subobject.
    Object and subobject are needed to classify application logs because there are several log types. Only a few logs are managed in main memory at runtime, so this classification is not needed.
    If the logs are to be saved in the database, object/subobject must be specified for later retrieval.
    Procedure for System Administration
    Object/sub object can be passed when a log is created (function module BAL_LOG_CREATE) and changed with BAL_LOG_CHANGE.
    The possible values for object and sub object must be configured in transaction SLG0.*
    If I save the order with CRTD status and come back again in change mode and do determination, It works fine.
    Again when the order is in REL status and do the determination, It gives the same error.
    This happens only for a specific plant, In other plants batch determination works in all scenarios.
    I checked for all plant related Config for batch determination and coudn't find any discrepancies.
    Please advise how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your help
    Regards,
    Aheesh

    There Is no direct solution for your requirement just try this work around.
    While defining the batch determination search strategy for process order in COB1, there is one column Quantity proposal where you can attach the Routines (This is written in ABAB code )  make use of this, define New Routines with ABAB help to fulfill your requirement. Try this if found useful award full points.

  • How can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT - it's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)

    how can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT?
    It's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)
    It is simply too painful to have to zip everything up into a single file to send. MHT format has been available for years now from IE, and with every new FF release it's the first thing I look for. I have been using FF for years, and hate having to come out of it, over into IE |(which I even took out of startup) and key everything in again, in order to send somebody something in a convenient format that they can open with a single click.
    I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, so have you looked at it and rejected it? Have MS kept the file format secret?
    Thanks
    MG

    This is not really an answer just my comments on your question.
    I am sure I recollect efforts being made to get mhtml to work with FF.
    Probably the important thing to remember about .mhtml is that if other browsers do support it they may need addons, and may not necessarily render the content correctly/consistently.
    There are FF addons designed for archiving webpages, you could try them, but that then assumes the recipient has the same software.
    You could simply save the page from FF to your XP pc; then offline open it with and save it using IE, before then emailing using FF, and attaching the .mht or mhtml file that you have now created on your PC.
    As an alternative method, in some cases it could be worth considering taking a screen grab of the required page, then sending that to the recipient as a single email attatchment using either a bitmap or jpeg file format for instance.
    Something such as an airline booking may be designed with a print option, possibly it could be worthwile looking at sending the print file itself as an email attachment.

    I have Iphone 5 and have an issue with deleting part of the messages in Imessage conversation. The trash button is not displayed to delete part of the imessage. I see only delete all option. Is it a bug?

    Hi An Iphone user,
    If you are having issues deleting a specific message from an iMessage conversation (not seeing the Trash icon), you may want to double-check that you are following the steps outlined in the following article:
    How do I delete a message?
    To delete a message, tap and hold the message bubble, then tap More.
    Tap Delete All to delete all the messages. Or tap to select the messages you want to delete, then tap .
    After you delete a message, you can recover it only by restoring from a backup.
    Send messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

  • Is it possible to deconstruct an existing video to get its component parts?

    I made a video http://gallery.mac.com/lorna6#100193 years ago from footage taken in about 2000 and 2001. In a prior thread I mentioned having somehow losing the AUDIO component. Well, disturbingly, I went and watched the video from my old iMovie '06 and discovered that it was the video clips that were missing, not the audio. In the picture below, those black frames represent no video to be seen. I think that the exclamation mark in the yellow circle means the same thing or that something went awry.
    Here is a picture of the clips in the work space part -- the upper left quadrant, of my iMovie '06 project.
    To clarify: I forgot how I made that video because it was so long ago. I know from reading about iMovie '09 that I will probably do more videos on it because it sounds less complex but equally good for the most part.
    Someone in this forum, John, encouraged me to go over the highlights of that old video using the iMovie '09 program and I liked that idea........ so you can imagine my dismay when I returned to the program, opened it up, and now see that I lack not the audio, but the most precious video.
    Sadly, the original footage is lost due to external hard drive crashes. I might have kept a memory chip that had it but after all these years and me being disorganized, I do not know where it is.
    Is there a way that I can use the iMovie 06 video that you see at my Mobile Me Gallery to extract the clips and the audio? Or if not the audio, then at least all of the video clips? *Is it possible to deconstruct an existing video to get its component parts?*
    ~L

    I have had a series of iMovie applications but I used them all too infrequently, partly out of Fear of Trying. Now with the iMovie '09 out, I think I can do it. Yes, I know that I made the Cheyenne video with a previous app, but I found it confusing at times, and look now and see how I bollixed it up, losing some clips in ways I do not know.
    You (John C.) wrote:
    That's a miniDV camera, which uses tape. It's very similar to my earlier camera, as listed in my details below - the Sony DCR-TRV20. I now mainly use a high definition AVCHD Sony HDR-SR7 - that's why I've switched from iMovie HD 6 to iMovie '09.
    .......... Lorna says ...........................
    John, I call that a Pandoa's Box paragraph up there! First of all, I am left thinking that the type of videocam that I use will determine which kind of iMovie application I use. Yes? Can I assume that since you with your Sony DC-TRV20 have high definition AVCHD, then my DC-TRV11 might also have it.
    I have my user manual in front of me and looked in the Index for both HD and AVC (what is the C in AVC?), and neither is listed. I cannot find anywhere in the manual that tells whether my mini digital TRV11 also has high def AVDHC.
    How important is that in using the new iMovie '09? If my Sony does not have it, then does that simply mean that I cannot make use of the HD capability of iMovie '09?
    All of this would have been a moot question because earlier I had decided to just use the video component in my Canon digital camera, but then getting my Sony mini digital out and seeing and touching it, and remembering it worked, I began thinking that maybe I should use the camera video for when I am away from home and the Sony for when I am here at home.
    There is one thing I would say about HD: It is a memory gobbler, and if you make videos for YouTube, you might feel the constraints within that platform. It might be better for showing things to family and friends on your home tv with no megabyte or time restrictions.
    You/John C. continued writing:
    Your thoughts on archiving and backup sound sensible Lorna. I must admit, I don't backup as often as I should. I've been using the old Apple Backup program, but am considering moving to Time Machine, with an appropriate hard drive to match - maybe Time Capsule like you are using.
    .......... Lorna says ...........................
    John,if you decide to get Time Capsule to work wirelessly and continuously with Time Machine, then I suggest you consider a 2 terabyte capacity. I began using the Apple Back up but found it confusing and ultimately insufficient.
    You/John C continued writing:
    Currently (as listed below), I have 4 external hard drives - 3 are FireWire 400 and the largest one is FW 800. None of these has ever given me a problem (touch wood) - they are LaCie 120GB (not your favourite!), and 3 Maxtor's - 250GB, 300GB and 1TB. The 1TB drive is RAID enabled, having two 500GB drives in the enclosure, which I'm effectively using as one drive, that is, one is not a mirror of the other - so if one fails I've lost all the data! A good reason for using Time Machine.
    .......... Lorna says ...........................
    John I still am not clear on what RAID is and I guess I will Google it to find out. What is the purpose of having two separate drives housed in a shell? Is it about saving space? Or is it about ports? Or what?
    Of course, if you get the one that was mentioned by someone earlier, than it would warn you when something is about to go wrong and you could act pre-emptively. But that was suggested for a business or a pro, neither of which I am.
    You/John C wrote:
    As my HD camera is a hard drive model (60GB), I archive the footage to the Maxtor 1TB drive, using iMovie's "Archive All" feature. From there, it's easy to import clips into an Event, which is also stored on the Maxtor - so double jeopardy! I had better get cracking on updating my backup strategy
    .......... Lorna says ...........................
    I am lost. What do you mean, your HC camera is a hard drive model? And what you wrote sounds like something important that I should understand more precisely. I am thinking that the salesguy at Best Buy was right: I should get yet another hard drive in which to store specifically and only my homemade video stuff, my iTunes, and my photographs. I don't know how I would do that, though, if I want them to be stored ALSO IN MY 2TERABYTE SEAGATE as a double archive.

    Select the textfield that is inside the movieclip and in the properties panel you should see a dropdown for selecting the type of textfield.  If you select Dynamic and then assign an instance name to the textfield you can use that instance name in your code to assign the text when the file runs.  If you were to name the textfield "tField", then the code you would use inside an instance of your movieclip named "mClip1" would be...
    mClip1.tField.text = "your text";
    So, if I have multiple buttons, using your example, would the code read
    mClip1.tField.text = "your text";
    mClip1.tField2.text = "your text2";
    mClip1.tField3.text = "your text3";
    mClip1.tField4.text = "your text4";
    And my buttons are built inside movieclips, ie
    Main Timeline > aboutButton_mc > aboutText_mc > "about"
                        > contactsButton_mc > contactsText_mc > "contacts"
    can the code be put at any level, or does it need to reside on the Main Timeline to access all the movie clips' text fields?
    Just in case this may be too complex to get into via this forum, if you know of any good tutorials, that would be awesome too!
    I tried doing a search, but it's so hard to tell if they might be in AS2, or AS3, and if they would apply to newer versions of Adobe Flash (I have CS5)

    On click should open a new page, yes? So it won't matter.

  • Cannot issue backflush component

    Good Morning,
    When i try to add a Receipt from Production with a few productions orders i have the message error "Cannot issue backflush component [Goods Receipt - Row - Warehouse Code]...".
    If I try to post one at a time i have no errors.
    What can I do to post all productions orders in the same Receipt from Production?
    Thank you,
    Susana Cunha.

    Hello Susanna,
    If I understood correctly you have this situation:
    A - parent
    1 2 and 3 are children
    3 is parent of S, D, F.
    One question:
    are you trying to add in the same Receipt from Production the production A and the production 3? Are you sure you have enough quantity in stock for 3 even before running the receipt from production? If you don't you might not have quantity to produce the item A.
    Please, let me know if this helped.

  • ARB issues posted

    Hey all,
    The Flex team has a group called the Architecture Review Board that meets
    regularly to address issues that seem to be coming up. It's the kind of
    group that often gets to deal with the "hallway conversation" issues. I've
    taken a number of the issues that we've resolved over the last few months
    and put the notes from those decisions on the Gumbo page
    (http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Gumbo) down at the bottom.
    A few notes, the ones that are already closed should be marked as such.
    There are 2 at the bottom that are getting resolved now, so I've opened the
    comments section if you're interested. Finally the Halo/MXML prefix issue
    is potentially going to be re-opened dependingon the outcome of the Fx
    prefix discussion (which I'll be posting more about later today).
    We will briefly discuss the ARB issues in our standard iteration meeting,
    and will be better about having notes posted as the decision is coming up as

  • To issue the component to the Production Order

    Hello All,
    I have assigned the component to the Operation of Production Order from Different plant(say 1100) of Same company code(1000).
    I want to issue that material from that plant to this plant (say 1000) of Production Order.
      So my question is the correct method of directly issuing the component to this Production Order of different plant.
    Shailendra

    Hi  HAdkar
    The correct procedure is .
    You have to assign special procurement key 80 in material master for which you want to procure from plant 1100. The material master of procuring material should exist for the plant 1100. While running MPR the procurement proposal will be automatically created in the 1100 plant. From 1100 plant you do stock transfer to your storage location. Then finally do GI for the header prod order in you plant.
    This is the procure in SAP. Eventhough both the plants exist in the same compound.

    J . Saravan

  • Critical B2B issue regarding component seprator

    Hi Guru's
    we are facing one critical issue regarding component seprator. We want to have folling component seperator delimiter as "|" (HEXA 0x7c) e.g
    ISA*00* *00* *01*041158668 *07*5051379000004 *100203*1259*^*00501*000001505*0*P*|~
    where as we are getting ">" (hexa 0x3e)
    ISA*00* *00* *01*041158668 *07*5051379000004 *100421*1532*^*00501*000001049*0*P*>~
    I tried changing the value in capabilities of TP but it didn't effected the result. Also I tried changing the defualt values in Business Action but the result remained same.
    Please advise us on how to resolve this issue. Its a requirement for us to have 0x7c.
    any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Sahil

    Hi Sahil,
    Override the default/current values in the operational capability of Remote Trading partner and revalidate and redeploy the agreement. Make sure that you are not passing internal properties from the back-end.
    In case still the issue persists, mail back your b2b log, ecs file and payload.
    Regards,
    Anuj

    AND SPRAS = 'E'.

    APPEND IT_MATNR.
    CLEAR IT_MATNR.
    ENDLOOP.
    I would sort IT_MARA by matnr then select for all entries into new table IT_matnr and only read when you are actuallygoing to use it for your final table.
    This however will not make much difference to your problem. I suggest you put more of the code into subroutines and look at the se30 output as tyo which subroutines are actually taking most of the time. Please post the results and the subroutines which take the longest.
