Attendant Console Standard 10.5 Queuing

Hello,
I'm running Attendant Console Standard 10.5 in conjunction with hunt groups in CUCM 10.5 using native call queuing.   Queuing is working fine except that the customer wants to be able to see queued calls in real time.   I configured the queue stats button on each of the receptionist's phones but they don't like that since they have to continuously press the update button to refresh queue stats.
In a perfect world, I would like to be able to provide number of calls in queue in the AC client window but it does not look like that is a possibility with AC Standard.   Can anyone point me in the direction of any Cisco documentation that states if this can or cannot be done?
Are there any other workarounds that anyone has used to get around this?
Thanks,
Glenn

There is no document that will tell you that, but you certainly cannot see that in AC, simply because AC only ties to the DN on which it receives calls, it doesn't monitor anything regarding line groups, HL or HPs.

  • Unified Communications Attendant console: queue does not show in the client

    Hello,
I have Cisco Unified Attendant Console - Department Edition 9.1.1.10 in conjunction with CUCM 9.1.1.
My problem is that when I login with the operator account to the client the queue does not show up as expected.
I have configured the queue, synchronized with CUCM, i can see it in CUCM under device/CTI route point, i have associated the queue to the operator in user configuration queue association.
but when i login as the opeartor to the client i can not see it.
    any help is apreciated.
    thanks

    Hi,
This is working correctly, as you can only associated a single queue (department), this is not displayed in the operator console client.
You only see the queue list in Business, Enterprise or Premium Edition.

  • IP Phone call forward to Attendant Console - reach Attendant Console Voicemail

    Hello,
I have an old Attendant Console based on CUCM7.1(5) with CUC 9.
Most of my user have voice mail box.
My issue is following: Users forward there phone to AC pilot point during lunch time or meetings.
When a call is then transfered to Attendant Console, if it is not answered, it is redirected to Unity connection and reach User Voice Mail box.
This is the good way of working for all users (to reach first redirect number mailbox), but my customer wants in the particular case of calls forwarded to standard, to reach standard voice mail box.
    How can we achieve this?
If I setup a Translation Pattern on CUCM to translate a dummy number into attendant console Pilot Point number, and forward user to this dummy number, does Translation Pattern replace the first redirect number?
    Thanks for your help.
    Thibaut

It is likely that they are transferring a call to the operator on a line they are not logged into instead of the queue.
All calls should be routed through the queue in order to receive full CTI control of that call, I would suggest you create a speed dial with the DN of the CTI Route Point for the operators queue and then transfer the call to that instead of the operator directly, this way the call sits in the queue with any other callers.

  • Unified Attendant Console - License and Remote Site

I need  an Attendant Console solution for a 6 site IPT design.  I have CUCMBE at the corporate site with 5 remote locations.  I want to have an Attendant Console in each location.  I was going to use the Business Attendant version, but  see it only support 3 Queues, thoguht I had read it was 6 queues, so I guess I need to go with the Enterprise version.
    1.  To support 6 active clients, I need to order 6 licenses at $2950.00?  Seems awful expensive compared to the old Attendant Console...
    2.  Queues would need to be created for each site, Business only has 3, but Enterprise has 50?

Hehe Chris, you're right. I've always thought that this is only the language for the installation details, but I've just tried it on my PC.
    Thanks a lot.

  • How to identify inbound location on a centralized Attendant Console?

I'm trying to find a way to be able to identify for our centralized receptionists the location of the inbound calls.
We have 16 sites set up with Cisco routers as h323 gateways each pointing all incoming calls to the main phone line to a separate AC pilot point in CCM 4.13sr3b. Is it possible to have the dialpeer put some sort of description tag that the receptionists can see on attendant console when the call comes in that says where/which site this phone call is coming in from? Or display the queue it is coming in on?
Any ideas on this would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid going down the IPCC path to provide this functionality since Cisco won't support IPCC and attendant console running simultaneously.
Bottom line is we have a multi site CM deployment where all inbound calls going to a central group of folks running attendant console and we need to be able to discern which pilot point or voice gateway the call is coming in on.
I appreciate any thoughts on this!!
    Ryan

One way to do this if you don't care about the caller ID of the calling party, would be to tranform the calling number to DN of the Pilot DN by using Translation Patterns. Basically the GW's CSS would not have access to the AC Pilot, but to a TP that transforms the calling party and redirects to the AC Pilot.

  • Cisco Attendant Console

    Hi
We are using UCM version 10.5.1. Can someone guide me on how to add attendant console users? That is, need to provide access to Cisco Attendant console to 2 new users.
    Thanks for the assistance.
    Rajeswari

    Hi Aaron,
    Greetings!
Thank you very much for your quick response. Yes. I am able to login to Attendant Console server via https://ipaddress/webadmin.
The 2 new users are already added in the CUCM. In Attendant Console webpage, I presume I need to click on "User Configuration"=> Operator Management and add the new user. Once this is done, I guess we need to select the appropriate queue while configuring the operator profile. Am I right.
    Thanks again for the clarification.

  • Upgrade CUEAC version 9 to Attendant Console Advanced 10

    Hi
I am running CUEAC 9.1 with CUCM version 9.1. My customer wants to upgrade the attendant console to version 10 advanced,  but keep CUCM at version 9. I see this is supported from the attendant console documentation I have read. I believe version 10 is a serverless offering. Is there the option to go version 10 on my current windows 2008 server(this is where version 9 is running) or does it have to be serverless. Is it possible to introduce high availability if I upgrade to version 10 advanced? I am finding it hard to find definitive documentation for this.
    Thanks,
    Derek

    [+5] to Jaime.
High Availability is supported in Advanced version .You can refer datasheet
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/unified-attendant-console/data_sheet_C78-731867.html
further, as mentioned by Jaime, you can refer release notes of Advanced and Standard version for Compatibility with Call manager & OS requirements .Advanced version is supported on VMWare.

  • Attendant Console for CUCM 8 and above, My Solution.

I work for a community college in which we employ a full time operator and have several people to fill in for breaks and vacations. Having an attendant console is very important. To complicate matters, we need to have more that the corperate directory in the console for numbers such as departments (Admissions, Financial Aid, etc.) as well as fax numbers and other references.
The attendant console that Cisco provided up untill version 8 met our needs. We upgraded and purchased CUEAC. And for 3 grand, we got a pile of crap with only one seat. The big problem is that it does not support directory integration, does not support incremental search, and has one of the worst implementation designs I have yet to see.
We have tried many consoles, all lacking in one area or another. The one that best met our needs was the most expensive, and had the smallest feature set. We could not justify spending money on somthing that is not at least as good as the free product that cisco once offered.
My crazy solution: Use CUCMAC (Assistant Console). For reference, we have UCCX with Basic Seats (No Desktop Agent).
Cons: Does not support imcremental search or directory integration.
Pros: Free, Unlimited seats, one search entry searches all fields.
    Implementation:
Created a dummy "Manager" which allowed me to be able to create "Assistants" (operators).
At this point each person that is to act as an operator can now log into this software with their network username and password (we are LDAP Integrated). They can see and control the lines on their phones, and the software is almost identicle to the Attendant Console Software they were use to.
Created and ACD queue for the operator and added an ACD DN to each phone. The users go Ready and Not Ready using the IPPA.
In our situation, we have the full corperate directory, which for most companies is fine. In our case we need additional numbers for the Departments and such. Becuase we are LDAP integrated, we will need to sync to an additional Directory source for the missing numbers. I wish we could use " Contacts" in AD, but becuase they dont have user ID's, cisco will not import them.
To summarize operation, the operator logs into the ACD queue and used Assitant Desktop as a user interface for the phone. The only thing that differs from Attendant Console, is that you have to use the phone to log in and out, not the desktop software.
Please let me know what you thing, and any ideas how to improve this setup would be greatly appreciated!

    Bradley,
I cannot comment on the implementation you have gone through but I can comment on your comments about CUEAC.
There is going to be a new release in June this year which will support directory integration directly to AD as well as the CUCM sync which is available today.
The GUI iteself is to undergo a redesign in version 10, the date on this release is not yet known.
Incremental search is something which is not on the roadmap but is something I will discuss with the Product Manager to see if it can be considered.

  • Audio problems in Attendant Console 6.0.1

    Hello
I have installed a CUCM 6.0.1 and is trying to set up Attendant Console. I've set up the Pilot Point as a Broadcast Hunt.
Everything is working just fine and the incomming calls show up in the Broadcast call queue, except audible alerts. No matter what .wav file I choose (the default one or a custom) it just playes the first ½ second or so of the file, and then it's silent.
The attendant console is running on a brand new pc running Windows XP SP2 (HP compaq dc7800p ultra-slim PC). I tried installing af VMware workstation on the pc and then brought up a Windows XP VM, in which the audible alerts worked just fine, so I think it's something with the Attendant Console client not being compatible with the Soundcard in the PC (a Soundmax HD audio something).
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong and how to resolve my issue ???

Don't think it is your PC's that are faulty , i have had a TAC case open on this issue for some time now - have recognised it as a defect , and it is currently pending release ,
CSCsm73933 - the bug id is not view-able yet , don't know if it will be
if / when TAC gives me a ES , i will let you know the version so you can request it from them
let me know if this helps
    regards

  • CUAC 10 Advanced / Unified Attendant Console silent install

Is it possible to push / silent install the Cisco Unified Attendant Console 10.x Advanced client ?

Currently, it is not possible to push/silently install the Advanced client. We are in the process of completing a deployment tool that will make this possible for Standard but would need to explore the option for Advanced.

  • Cisco unified Attendant Console reports

    Hi,
We have a customer with Cisco Unified Enterprise Attendant Console 8.5.1.5 interested in operator reports. They have more than one operator per queue. There is a report with attended operator calls but no abandoned. Is there any way to get the abandoned calls by operator (not by queue)?
    Thanks in advance
    Laura

    Hi Laura,
As the calls route through the queues this where calls are abandoned, calls are not routed directly to the operators phone hence why there is no report for this against a user.

  • Does Attendant Console work on CME/UC520?

Can I run Attedant Console with a UC520/CME?

With UC500/CME you have two choices for attendant console. First is CUE AA, that will support call by name, and can be customized with the CUE script editor.
Second is TCL/IVR, called B-ACD/AA, that will support a menu of choice for different groups, and more importantly, call queuing. In practice, you can do a nice call center with it.
Se depending on what you need to do, you use one or the other.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

  • Attendant Console 6.1.2 (yeah, I know it is unsupported)

So knowing full well that this is an unsupported software, I am reaching out anyway.  I find myself in a pickle at my new company.  We are still running Call Manager 6.1.5.11900-13 (don't ask) and we have many users using Attendant Console.
Last week, the line status of all the consoles changed to blue question marks.  The phone control function of the application works great, just no line status.
We have restarted AC and CTI services on entire cluster, pointed the AC clients to multiple servers for testing, and uninstalled and reinstalled the AC client.  Tonight we are punting and rebooting the Publisher.
Anyone out there unfortunate enough to be running this, and maybe have a suggestion to fix?
A suggestion to upgrade would be sound, but won't be happening for now.
    Commence the laughing!

They usually do not simply "die" like this.  Id check for any replication issues with your cluster first off.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00809643e8.shtml
Next, I would simply build an entire new AC in CUCM and try to use this one.  I have had luck in the past with this where the only way I could get it to work was to delete everything off it that AC used.  Pilot points, RPs, etc.  Then rebuild it.Sounds odd, yes.
I find it odd though it stopped working with no changes in the network, CUCM configurations, etc.

  • Attended Xfer on A SPA500S 32 Button Attendant Console

I have a CISCO 504G with a SPA500S 32-Button Attendant Console.  I had this all configured just the way I like it, when I had to remove the Attendant Console for a recent move.  Now I have my console all programed with all my speed dials (employee extensions and cell numbers) but I can't transfer a call.  When I called my VoIP carrier, Vocalocity, they said it can't be done.  When I first got my sidekick, they told me the same thing.  I then called Cisco and they told me exactly how to configure it to be able to perform an Announced transfer so I know its possible.  I need to be able to let my employee know who is calling before I transfer the call.  Can anyone help me?

We just installed an new system with the SPA508g phones and the SPA 500s Side Car and are having the same monitoring issues. We have notified our support and they have been tweeking our system quite a  bit. If this is a known issue why is CISCO not resolving it. Does CISCO monitor these forums?
