Authenticating test applcation in OAM is not working

Hello OAM experts, can you please help to figure out why my test application is not getting authenticated by OAM.
I have installed IDM for fusion application and SSO login is working for all admin consoles such as WLS, EM, OAM, OIM. I have deployed test application to OAM server itself to test the authentication of protected resources.
Host identifier is already there which was create while configuring my IDM for fusion applications. I created new application domain , created resource for /text/*, created authentication policy and used LDAPScheme for authentication, created authorization policy and defined constraints by adding a group OAMAdministrators ( just for testing purpose). I also added response in the authentication policy.
Then I have configured admin.conf of OHS server to redirect http://webhost1:7777/test to oam server host and port. It is getting redicted but not to the SSO login page. The URL still shows http://webhost1:7777/test and executes the test page and displays test application. It should have been redirected to SSO login page though OAM.
At this stage I have no clue what did I miss. As I said, when I login to wls console, it gets redicted to SSO login through OAM login page and then while accessing OIM, it directly takes me to OIM application since the user has privileges and also OAM page without logging in again.
But why my test application is not redirected to OAM authentication page ?
Any help is grately appreciated.
thanks

Hi, I am having the same issue. I am new to all this OAM stuff. I am using OAM 11g with a 11g Webgate configured. When I try to access the OAM Console the SSO setup does work and kicks-in and redirects me to the OAM server's integrated login page. But my test application that lives on an app server installed on a separate machine is never challenged for their credentials. As the documentation says I have CLIENT-CERT defined as the auth-method in my login-config inside my applications web.xml file.
I think I am not using the right providers. What I want is Identity Assertion and also OAM authentication (if Identity Assertion fails Authentication should kick-in and redirect to challenge login page). So I have an OAMIdentityAsserter and an OAMAUthenticator set-up in addition to the Default Weblogic Identity Asserter and Default Weblogic Authenticator.
I have tried everything but, the login redirect never happens. If I use the DefaultAuthenticator along with OAMAuthenticator (no OAMIdentityAsserter) and define BASIC in my login-config in web.xml then the Default Weblogic Authenticator pops up a dialog box which does let me enter credentials and when I do it does make the trip to the OAM server and works flawlessly. But I don't want basic authentication and I don't want a dialogue box to pop-up. I want the OAM server to redirect me to it's built-in login page just like it does for the OAMConsole itself which is being protected by the out of the box 10g IAMSuiteAgent Webgate. Which, as you know, comes pre-installed.
Please let me know your configuration and the providers you have set up and how you were able to make the OAM server challenge you for credentials when trying to access a protected resource/application.
Thank You.

  • Adobe Edge .OAM Animation Not Working In ePub Created In InDesign CC

    Hello,
I am trying to create an ePub that contains video and animations.
Using Adobe Edge Animation CC, I created an animated chart.  When I tested by previewing it in my browser it worked fine.  I then exported the animation as an .OAM file.
In InDesign CC, I created my document, imported a .MP4 video and the .OAM animation.  When I test it using the Folio Preview, the video works but the animation does not.  The animation instead acts more like a static image.  When I click on it, nothing happens.  Ideally, the animation should occur once the page is loaded (but I can settle for the animation to happen once clicked).
Also, I would like to create an Interactive PDF and .MOBI version of this document.  I am a complete noob to this, so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Thank you Steve.  I am running InDesign CC 9.2.  I exported an EPUB 3 file and tested it using Firefox's EPUBReader (Since I am experiencing an issue with Readium).  The video is working fine, but the .OAM animated chart does not appear at all.  Do you know what could be causing the .OAM animation not to appear?  Below are some screenshot I grabbed.
This is how the file looks in InDesign CC.  Circled is the .OAM animation.
Below is how it looks in EPUBReader.  The .OAM animated chart is missing. (The layout has changed also, but please consider that this is my first ePub that I am creating.  This is all new to me.)

  • Cross browser testing : Modifier Keys playback actions not working in chrome and Firefox

    Hi,
In my work flow I have to select multiple items in list.So I have recorded 'Ctrl+Click' action to select list items. In Chrome and Firefox it is not selecting multiple Items.
Even Ctrl+A,Ctrl+C,Ctrl+V also not working in chrome and Firefox.Complete modifier keys support is not observed in chrome and Firefox.Let me Know how to automate modifier keys actions in cross browser?
    Regards,
    Nagasree.

    Hi Nagasree,
    Welcome to MSDN forums.
First, please make sure the Chrome and Firefox is supported by cross browser testing.
Latest version of Chrome and Firefox supported by cross browser testing are Chrome version 38.0.2125.111 and
    Firefox 33.
I doubt whether Chrome and Firefox in cross browser testing don’t support automating modifier keys or there is anything wrong on it if you are using supported browser. Since this issue is related to the Extensions tool
Selenium components for Coded UI Cross Browser Testing, if possible, I suggest you post this
issue here, click “Q AND A”, and then you could post this issue there, you would get dedicated
    support there.
    Thanks for your understanding.

    Thanks.
    Vinay

    Hi ,
I also faced the same error some time ago.
error : /ldap_util3.cpp:1851 "LDAP result is not obtained from LDAP server
You will get this error only when your search filter is taking more time than you have specified .
You can see the parameter 'heartbeat_ldap_connection_timeout_in_millis'
    in ORACLE_HOME$access/oblix/apps/common/bin/globalparams.xml
See the time you have specified and check in access server logs by how much time it is elapsed.
@ Vinay : As you mentioned , Elapsed time in milli seconds^4000
It is taking 4000 miliseconds more than specified .
    Hope this will work.

  • NAC - wanna test the basic setup - does not work !!!!

    SCENARIO :
    ·         I have simple NAC setup with 1 NAC MGR “CAM” and 1 NAC SRVR “CAS”
    ·         My users are running network 192.168.10.x/24 , and I wanna implement in L2 VG mode. Both NAC MGR and NAC SRVR can ping each other.
    ·         CAM VLAN 55 = 192.168.55.x/24 , and CAS VLAN 66 = 192.168.66.x/24
    ·         NAC MGR “CAM”  has only 1 cable going to the core switch and NAC SRVR has 2 cables going to the core switch ( one is trusted trunk end and another is untrusted trunk end) . Created two VLANS 999 and 998 and put each of them on each link as blackhole prevention mechanism described in Cisco docs.
    ·         I have a Windows 2008 DHCP Server who is giving the pool of IPs for users from 192.168.10.x/24 and it is working fine. Routing in the core switch is also ok.
    ·         I have SSH and web access to both CAM and CAS boxes.  They are also updating online smoothly.
    ·         From the GUI, I have created the AV Rules also and CAM shows CAS as connected as well !!!!  My version is 4.1.8  (upgraded from 4.1.3 )
INT VLAN 10 (USER VLAN)  SVI is on core switch = 192.168.10.254 /24
INT VLAN 55 ( MGMT ) SVI is on core switch = 192.168.55.254/24
INT VLAN 66 (MGMT) SVI is on core switch = 192.168.66.254/24
    PROBLEM :-
    1.       I am not able to download or get the NAC Client software MSI or stub file or ActiveX prompt to download ….
    2.       I don’t know how to start troubleshooting at this stage. Please note that My client PC is windows XP machine and the port is already configured to VLAN 100.
I have 1 CORE switch only and my NAC boxes and client are connected to the same CORE switch.

VLANS Mapping is done in CAM, i didnt find any field in CAS...
Also, i am copying the switch port configs...  ( a simple logical connectivity diagram was attached also to this discussion already )

  • Testing CS6 - clone tool does not work - nothing  :(

While I'm new to CS6 - I'm not unfamiliar with common errors, self-help fixes when things seem to get stuck - etc.
I loaded the free trial of CS6 to see if I should buy the upgraded version, or be happy with the less expensive older programs.
Things have been going fine as I learn to navigate the new layout -- but this has got me stumped - and frustrated.
I've read through many forums - and self-help tutorials - and nothing fixes the problem!
Although I can grab the color (alt+click) -- and I see the "spot" that I drag to clone/paint over the object that I'm trying to remove...
NOTHING HAPPENS.  No color applies, nothing disappears - nada.
I'm running this on a MAC.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer -- I've run out of ideas.

Hi Bill -- thank you, also, for your speedy reply.  As I just shared with Chris who also responded, I've managed to get the tool to work again.
Some kind of hardward conflict going on - but it is resolved now.
I have run into another issue though -- while removing fly away hairs from my subject's portrait - I noticed as I cloned around the head that this spot suddenly appeared.  It is perfectly round (with an edge)... and has a bright tiny speck of un-erased/un-hidden hair (? I think that's what it is) that absolutely worsens the more I try to cover it or hide it...
    Any suggestions?
I'll try to post a screen shot....
Not sure you can see it "perfect circle" - but it has a definitive edge to it (pic on right) -- I can't, for the life of me remove it.  The background has a strong bokeh, making it
difficult to repair without being noticable.  I'm sure there's an easy way that I'm just not seeing (too many hours of frustration and not enough coffee).

  • [SOLVED] phoronix-test-suite 5.0 - GUI not working

The new version (5) of phoronix-test-suite should include a brand new HTML5 interface.
The command phoronix-test-suite shoud open this GUI in the default browser, but doesn't work for me.
    I get this error instead:

  • After Refresh of Test System XI connection is not working

We are using SRM 4.0 in ECS and recently did a refresh to our Quality system.  After the refresh we went through the normal post refresh activities and assumed that everything was ok.  We started creating test shopping carts and PO for XML vendors and nothing is going out through XI.   I have ran tcode sxmb_moni to check to see if any error message are occuring but there are no messages in the system.
We have restarted the server but can't seem to get anything to go out through XML.
Can anyone provide any information or some things to check?

    Hi
First check the setting in 'Define backend systems' if the SLD system name is correctly entered for your EBP system. Then using txn SLDCHECK, you can check connectivity to XI.
You can also check txn SXMB_ADM to see if the integration server connection is correctly defined.

  • Invocation of Application Process does not work in 3.1?

    Hi
I invoke APPLICATION PROCESS successfully in APEX 3.0 (for RSS, WAP, Google Site Map file generation). See http://www.mujnotes.cz/pls/htmldb/f?p=9774:::APPLICATION_PROCESS=TEST
The same code does not work in APEX 3.1 (apex.oracle.com environment). The introductionary application page is shown instead of process result, see http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=9774:::APPLICATION_PROCESS=TEST.
The processes have "No Authorisation Required" set.
Do you have any glue what's the problem?
    Thanks

it uses user authentication scheme. It works well for a common login into application.
    Authentication Function CALL:
    return user_auth
    Authentication Function DEFINITION:
    create or replace function user_auth (p_username in VARCHAR2, p_password in VARCHAR2)
                             return BOOLEAN
                             is
                             l_password varchar2(4000);
                             l_stored_password varchar2(4000);
                             l_count number;

dedicated application table is used to store and check user name and password

  • App store, safari, itunes store, and icloud not working osx 10.8

    Hey,
I have a retina macbook pro 13" that i bought in january. It has been running perfectly fine until a few days ago the itunes store wouldnt load at all, no matter how long i let it load, only the 'Itunes Store" splashback page showed. I then also realised that the App store had similar problems, only it wasnt loading and returning an 'insecure connection' message. After searching a few forums and trying to solve the issues, it led me to test safari, which is also not working. The loading bar stops about an 8th of the way and doesnt load any further. Also imessages are no longer being pushed from my phone to my computer. This is not an issue with my internet or router, all other internet browsers work perfectly, and the problem persists when i disconnect from my home network and connect to a personal hotspot from my phone. There seems to be quite a bit of talk about this problem, but very little on a solution. i was hoping someone could help me maybe come up with a solution before i restore my macbook or take a trip to the apple store.
    Thanks,
    Pat

Try the Combo update from the Apple Support page - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1640.
    Good luck,

  • Linking to other pages is not working

I have a slice that I want to link to another page. I selected the slice and in the drop down that displays in the property inspector for the Link field, I select the page I want it to go to. However, when I test the page, it does not work, and in Safari, I get this message:
No file exists at the address “/Users/MediaFred/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS5/FWTemp/4193627/page2.htm”.
    What is wrong with this?

Did you try previewing all the pages in browsers?
Click on File>Preview in Browser>Preview all pages in your_browser_name.exe.

  • Sensors Not Working. Please help!!! :(

I have got a new BB z10 and its Sensor doesnt seem to be functioning.  When I take the call the take the headseat near my ear, the screen doesnt sleep automatically. similarly when I take the phn back from ear it doesnt wake up. Is this a software issue? I am on the stock OS yet and havent updated to 10.2. Please help.
    thanks
    Naveen

    Hi,
Use the BlackBerry Virtual Expert to test the sensors. It should pre-installed, or go through the Help icon and select Test. I'd also make sure the device software is up to date, using BlackBerry Link.
If the Test shows that it's not working and the device is new. I would suggest you return it to your point of purchase for repair or replacement.

  • Sales UI not working for ABAP transaction

    Hi All,
I am wokring on SALES UI and created a roles copying role Internal Sales represnatative. I have added ABAP transactions like VA01 and XD01 along with WEBDYNPRO  transactions. While Webdynro applications are working fine but when trying to use ABAP transations screens are appearing  but unbale to select filed values or tabs or exceute. Almost screens are freezed. Both  are working fine in development client but when moved to testing client ABAP transactions are not working.
We are unable to find the cause. i have activated error log on internet explorer i am getting following errors:
The value of the property 'append_to_body' is null or not defined, not a function object
    and
    UCF properties is undefined
    Lightspeed.js
    code : 0
    URI:http://xxxxxxxxxx:8000/sap/public/icmandir/its/ls/js/lightspeed.js?201
Can anyone let me know the root cause and remedy for the issue.
    Thanks and Regards

Assuming that this is not a security issue, then I will assume this is a probably a rendering issue cause by the IE Lightspeed cache. The cache itself could resides either at your desktop, MIME directory server or the App Server; and it would need to be re-initialize for it to function.  Good luck!
Step 1: Clear your IE Cache by deleting all your IE Temporary Files
-> If this fail to work, try step 2.
Step 2 below need to be thoroughly tested before repeat in PRD environment, It could cause any user session that is accessing the MIME object to crash
Step 2: Clear the MIME Directory (REF: SAP Note - 1922663)
-> Run the report WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES in order to update the archive containing the MIME files for HTML rendering. Choose deploy MIMES.
-> If this fail to work, try step 3
Step 3 below should only be used in NON-PRD environment AND work with your Basis Team to ensure that it will not cause issue
Step 3: Clear the Server \ App Server Mime
-> Run SE38, program RSMONICM, click execute twice then use the drop down menu path below:
Goto --> HTTP Plugin --> Server Cache --> Invalidate Globally. Click "Yes".

  • "Do not Disturb" feature is not working with iOS6 update in iPhone4

I have updated iOS6 on my iphone 4. I tried to turn on "Do not Disturb" feature, schedule time then test it but it is not working. Phone is ringing with vibrate & tone. kindly fix this bug.

When I first tested the Do Not Disturb function, I discovered two ways it could seem like it was not working. One, as mentioned above, was that my screen was not locked. The other was the settings under Settings/Notifications/Do Not Disturb. If your settings allow calls from favorites and then you try to test the feature from a phone in your favorites list, it will not block the call. Similarly, if you are testing multiple times and the allow repeated call option is set, the call will also get through.
And one other observation. All of the material I have seen describes the action of the Do Not Disturb function as silencing the notifications. For incoming calls it does more than that; it actually rejects the call so the caller goes straight to voicemail rather than just ringing silently.
