Hi there, I have set up a summer reading challenge on Muse, run by Business Catalyst. I have the kids logging their books on a web form and would like to let them know how many books they have read every time they log a book. e.g., you have read 3/6 books so far. Is this possible and if so, how do I do this?

Regarding your query on appraisal for every day of the business event, I am not sure if that's possible as it's the business event appraisal we are talking of here..and not the day. But I think individiual instructor appraisal should not be a problem.

Outlook: How to update folders in automatic archive function

When using the automatic archive function (pdf maker, single portfolio of emails) in Outlook 2010 we have the following problem:
Once set the email folders and subfolder structure of our archive remains at the status of its first setting. This means every time we rerun the archive function NEW folders/ subfolders (added after initial setup) will NOT be included!
Is there any way to automatically update the subfolder structure (e.g. below a main project folder) every time we rerun the archive function???
Otherwise this function is totally useless as any change in our Outlook folder structure is not reflected in the archiving functions, which means NEW folder and their contents are not archived!
We have like 20 projects with different archive paths we now have to archive manually each time we backup.

EDIFACT D93A - suppress generating automatically a functional group

Hello!
I try to generate a EDIFACT D93A ORDERS from a xml-File.
I want to have a EDIFACT structure without a Header or Trailer for the functional group (UNG and UNE).
The xsd and the ecs I use are without functional group (Syntax 3 without functional group - generated in SpecBuilder). The UNB an the UNZ is also generated automatically by B2B, but this is OK.
How can I suppress generating automatically a functional group(UNG and UNE)?

Hello,
B2B has default Document Protocol Params for Interchange and Group as well, hence it is generating the Interchange and group as well. If you want you can override those values while defining the document protocol params, but not prevent it from generating the group. HTH.

Are you really using an earlier OS than Mac OS 8.6? That would be either 8.1, or 8.5 if I recall correctly.

I built a DLL in CVI and is used in TestStand, I want this DLL to have the ability to automatically load function parameters after specifying Module pathname and function name in "Edit C/C++ DLL Call" dialog? How can I do it?

Staring with CVI 7.1 and TestStand 3.1 you do not need a type library for TestStand to load parameters automatically. Just make sure you declare your exported functions with the __declspec(dllexport) modifier as in the following code:
__declspec(dllexport) void fun(void)

Well I understand that auto save is already present and saving your doc every 5 mins. But then why do you think, this did not happen yesterday in the following case?? I wrote one page of a long document and wanted to format it before proceeding. I selected the part to be formatted and instead erased it. I could not find that page again. I had to rewrite the matter.

When creating a support message from a satellite. Solution Manager first creates an ABA Notification.
Check your ABA Notification SLF1settings in tcode DNO_CUST01 (number range, action profile).

Use BP_GEN transaction to generate BP for the user and check if this user who is posting wil have these roles.
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE
SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_ADMIN
In dno_cust01
action profile...SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO needs to be maintained.
Now post if again the error occurs check this
goto Solman

How to switch off automatic compilation function

How can I switch off the arrow marks on the top left on the Inbox from automatically compiling my mails, bunching them together, often erroneously, and opening and closing whenever I run the mouse near it so that I can't even see my other mails. It's driving me mad. Would like to switch off this function. Please tell me how!

LR web gallery w/ client feedback function?

Probably been asked before, but I can't find it in the search feature, so sorry in advance if this bugs you.
I'm a 20 year user of Photoshop but new to LR. I shot a project for which I am using LR to do my selects and basic adjustments. I need to put my adjusted images in front of my clients with a web gallery that would allow them to make their selects, tag the files with ranking, and leave text comments if they wish. There are about 2000 images in this project.
Photoshop used to have a (barely usable) automated web gallery that allowed for client feedback in text. Is there something like this in LR? Is there a light box function in a web gallery?
Is it built in, our do I have to spend more money to get something that should have been in the product in the first place? (sorry for the mini-rant)

I would argue that a relatively high percentage of professional photographers would like to have this feature to be able to get feedback from clients. I don't agree that it would be generally considered bloat. Among commercial photographers, photo-journalists, and probably wedding photographers I would argue that the ability to create a web gallery that facilitates feedback from a client, or an editor's desk, has a greater level of value than does having 20 different gallery layouts with various transitions between slides, and cozy color palettes. I do see the value of that variety, but I'd like to see a little more utility also.
Even Photoshop, up to version CS3, had the ability to make a gallery with feedback option. Each image in the gallery had a text box that essentially acted like a Submit button. All comments a viewer made were compiled in an email and the comments were tagged with the image number/name. The gallery was cramped and ugly, but the feature was very useful.
While the TTG Client Response Gallery plug-in looks like it fits the bill, it also requires more of a learning curve than I would like. It also requires making sure my ISP has the correct version of PHP and the correct type of Apache server – certainly more than a basic HTML solution.

Automate Planning Function in BW 3.5 Planning?

Within our planning process, we pull allocations from our master R/3 system into BW nightly. I have automated this process by using our Scheduled allocations InfoSource. After the allocations run however, I have to manually kick off a planning function that recalculates the standard cost for all our cost centers. Is there any way to automate a planning function, so I don't have to start it manually every night? Furthermore, is there any way for me to tell if there are new transactions in the scheduled allocations InfoSource so I know whether a manual cost recalculation is even needed? We are on BW 3.5 (BPS).

Try this!!! use the following Key in the 'Tool Bar Template' and it will add one Tab(Print Settings) in the tool Bar. and when you click this tab, new open window opens and you can print(ctrl+p) the formatted report. But it will only print in the page. If you want graph also, then I suggest, use graph web item in the template and assign the data provider to it. then the report displays table as well as graph in one page and you can print the whole page.
Use Key = T45 in place of '709' in the code for 'Display Comments',
Assign ponits if this solves your problem.

Automatic "Sleep" Functional for Anyone after 10.5.2?

I'm wondering if anyone's "sleep" works after 10.5.2? If it does now, but didn't at first, what steps did you take to correct the issue? Is this failure-to-sleep problem restricted only to Intel-based systems?

I do not wish to appear offensive... but you've still not told me if you have an Intel-based Mac with OS X 10.5.2. Details at the bottom of your post do not clarify this issue!
I would like to know if anyone with this configuration now has a perfectly functioning automatically timed "sleep." This question has either a "yes" or "no" answer. I am particularly interested in hearing from those who experienced an unresponsive automatic "sleep" after upgrading (i.e., an initial "no") who have subsequently found a "fix" that reinstates a functioning automatic (timed) "sleep." If no one in this category responds within the next day or so, I'm obliged to infer that all Intel-based Macs (and possibly others) most likely experience this problem after updating to 10.5.2. +I view this as a truly minor inconvenience as I remain able to put the computer to sleep manually.+
However, I have acceded to your request: I dismounted both FW drives (physically and electrically). The Mac was rebooted with no open applications --- the monitor shut down at the specified time (after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity), but the Mac *+did not+* go to sleep even after waiting another 15 minutes beyond the specified time! I still have not tried booting with an unplugged USB keyboard/mouse...
