Balance sheet setup OB58 ??

Hi all,
I am trying to set up a balance sheet. I tried copying the existing ones and then changing them or creating a brand new one and configuring it from scratch but I have problems. The fields that are "marked" with red descritpions are there "for ever" and as much as I want I can not delete those rows. I can not change them and when I try to add a subnode it works on some but for others it just won't accept a sub node?!?!
Any ideas why?
Thanks!
D.

Are you trying to delete Nodes -Asset and
Liab+Equity? These cannot be deleted.
There are rules for creating FSV, please check OSS notes.

How can I download and re-upload the balance sheet structure? Which table can be usefull??

    Hi,
I already used FM's FI_IMPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_POS and FI_IMPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_TEXT for importing financial statement tables into internal tables.
I think it's possible to use the reverse FM's ( FI_EXPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_POS and FI_EXPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_TEXT ) for rewriting the financial statements in database after some changes in the internal tables, but I never tried this solution.

  • Balance Sheet is different from Trial Balance

Have a client that is on SQL 2005, SAP B1 8.8 PL 10  They are in an audit and when running their Balance Sheet their Purchases Clearing u2013 Allocation Account is showing a $0.01 balance.  Yet when they run the Trial Balance Report it does not show up.  Also when reviewing the journal entries for the Purchases Clearing u2013 Allocation Account there is no discrepancy there.  We have pulled a copy of their DB over to our test box with the same setup and the issue still happens.  Updated to PL 17, still the same issue.  Again the client is in an audit at this time.

Issue was opened with SAP.  There was issue with certain Journal Entries where there is a difference of cents in the Local and the System Currency. However, the System Currency and the local Currency is same i.e. US Dollars.
They sent a script that was run on the clients db to resolve the issue.

  • Balance Sheet adjustment account is picking while booking Customer Payment

    Hi,
We have booked Cusomter invoice in USD(foreign currency) for example - 100 USD and then we have received the payment 100 USD from the Customer.
When we are trying to book this 100 USD payment against the Customer Invoice 100 USD, when we simulate the document that time system is picking Balance sheet adjustment account.
If anybody faced such kind of issue, please share your thoughts.
    Thanks,
    Ramesh Red

Balance sheet adjustment account might be due to the excange rate difference and as per setup in transaction OB09.
Do a complete simulation, then all lines should appear for that document totalling zero.

  • Balance sheet in Detail

    HI SAP GURUS,
I have defined fsv as per accounts. FSV gives detail at gl account level i.e figures for the period for each gl account. My client want to have detail as per the companies act separated as per finance expenses, sales expenses etc for each expense account.
Take example we have maintained single salary gl account. But client want fsv on the basis of the cost center. Here cost center are defined per department. So fsv to be appeared as sales and marketing deprtment as heading and all account of expenses under it which are related to this dept.
In short he want Individual GL account to be bifurcated in FSV on the basis of cost center group. But fsv present consolidated figure for a gl account. I am not able to bifurcate it on cost center basis.
He is not ready to take cost center- cost element wise report for where he can get bifurcation. And fulfill his requirement.
Help me to resolve the issue.
    CHEERS

Create Financial Statement Versions (TCode: OB58)
Assign GL accounts as per balance sheet schedule 6 of companies act.
You can refer annual reprt for the same.
In financial statement version we have to give ranges of GL account. So its better if all GL accounts of similar nature are created together with continous GL account number.
Once financial statement version is created, go to TCOde S_ALR_87012279. Fill the necessary details like FSV you created, etc
Once you filled it, execute and you will get the desired report

  • Matrix Consolidation Profit Center for balance sheet acounts

    Hi,
I have a situation within a matrix consolidation setup. Balance sheet items that do not necessarily have profit center assignments do not flow into BCS. I created a condition for Consolidation Profit Center in the Load Data stream method as follows to resolve that issue:
Condition If profit center = initialized (blank)
    Move: constant 9999999
Condition: If profit center = 10000000-ZZZZZZZZ
    Move: Profit Center.
This is resolved the issue partially. The load program reads the data however also creates a warning message that data records were ignored.
All these ignored data records are a copy of the 99999999 profit center records that have already been read.
I would really appreciate any inputs.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pallavi

    Pallavi,
    I didn't get you.
    I meant these Breakdown Types:
    0 - No breakdown
1 - Optional breakdown. Initialized value allowed
2 - Required breakdown. If no entry is made, the default value is set.
3 - Required breakdown. The value must be entered; the default value may be entered.
4 - Required breakdown. The value must be entered; the default value may not be entered.
Subassignment are used with items, not with companies or profit centers.
Cannot understand why the role matters.
    Please clarify.

Can anyone help me with the following:
1- Is BSP integrated with Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 or only from v11.1.2.x?
2- How to install BSP with Planning v11.1.1.3? I tried performing steps in *'Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning 6 - Product Configuration Guide.pdf'*, but was not successful. Is it valid only for v11.1.2?

    Hi John,
    Thanks for the quick reply
I have gone through the guide
BSP will not work in Windows Environment ?
I have installed and configured Hyperion Planning 11.1..2.3 .500 , But not able to find Hyperion PS3 bundles BSP 6.1 files
In guide its mentioned like this
Installation of BSP 6.1 on Hyperion Planning PS3
Hyperion PS3 bundles BSP 6.1 files. Installing Hyperion will only deploy the
BSP files. BSP needs to be subsequently “initialized” in order to access it.
If CAPEX and/or WORKFORCE applications are required, initialize CAPEX and/or
WORKFORCE after BSP initialization is complete.
Note: For PS3, sequence of initialization to be BSP, CAPEX, and then
    WORKFORCE.

  • Caary forward of balance sheet accounts

    Hello,
I do have a problem with the carrying forward of balance sheet accounts. I would like to write the closing balance of the accounts of the previous month to the opening balance of the following month. It is for operative planning. I have created following business rule within the Finance application of BPC for the account technical equipment:
Account                    Account Detail      Account   Account Detail   Reverse   Data       Same    YTD
(Closing Bal.)                       (Opening Bal.)    Sign    Src. Type  Period
11101020_TEEQMAOW  ACLO      11101020_TEEQMAOW  AOPE          False     ALL     False    False
I have also created an account transformation rule with analogue specification.
I have referenced both of them in the default.lgf:
    *SysLib Stored_Procedure_wrapper.lgl
    RunCopyOpening(FINANCE,%RptCurrency_Set%,%Category_Set%)
    *Commit
    *SysLib Stored_Procedure_wrapper.lgl
    RunCalcAccount(FINANCE,%Category_Set%,%RptCurrency_Set%)
    *Commit
I have also tried the RunCalcAccount formula with fixed values instead of variable ones.
Before and after I send data with EVDRE, I ran the data manager default package, it runs OK, but it doesn't seem to make any calculations.
Is there any SQL logic or do I have to run the data manger differently? I already have tried some other logic from the user guide and the help, but it didn't work.
Can anybody help me, I'm happy to provide more information.
    Thanks in advance!

But if the YTD data structure won't work for you, I wouldn't even waste the time -- focus on the SPRunCalcAccount syntax, and the corresponding "account transformation" business rule table.

    Thank you very much Tim!
I know have tried to compose a SPRunCalcAccount Logic , as well as two SQL logics. Sadly, none of them works.
    SPRunCalcAccount Logic:
    *RUN_STORED_PROCEDURE=SPRUNCALCACCOUNT([Finance], [CPlan1])
I have filled out the Business Rule table for the account transformation with the following information:
    11101020_TEEQMAOW    ACLO  11101020_TEEQMAOW  AOPE   False     -1     False   0
Is it OK to fill in -1 for Period and to leave the data source empty?
I have written the logic in the default.lgf to test it, but nothing happened? Do I have to include a Time member?
The two script logics are as follows:
    *CALC_EACH_PERIOD
    *WHEN ACCOUNT
    *IS AOPE, MOVEMENTS
    *REC(ACCOUNT=ACLO)
    *REC(ACCOUNT=AOPE,TIME=NEXT)
    *ENDWHEN
AOPE stands for the Opening Balance within the Account subtable Acctdetail. ACLO stands for the Closing Balance.
    *WHEN ACCOUNT.FINSTMT
    *IS BS
    *REC(FACTOR=GET(ACCTDETAIL=ACLO, TIME=PRIOR), ACCTDETAIL=AOPE)
    *ENDWHEN
BS stands for Balance Sheet within the Account Property FINSTMT (Financial Statement).
Hope this is enough information for you. I thank you very much in advance!

  • Balance sheet format

    Hello,
From where we get the Balance sheet format that we require at the time of auditting?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can create your FSV - financial statement version - (official financial report) in OB58 transaction. There is no standard format; your accountant should define it for himself.

  • Move account from P&L to Balance Sheet

    Hi ,
The account in Tcode FS00 was earlier as a P&L account but has been changed to Balance sheet account.
But even now after it being changed when one makes enteries its showing as P&L and not Balance sheet .
Can someone please help me with this.
    Thanks a ton.

    Hi,
F.01 shows FSV hierarchy. You will have to update it via OB58 and move the G/L to the relevant group.

    Hi
There is no standard SAP Balance sheet and P&L.

  • Moving Net Income to Balance Sheet with Business Rule

    Hello,
The system is BPC 7.0 SP3, on SQL 2008
I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.  I created a business rule that moves Net Income Year to Date to the Balance Sheet, and call it through logic.
The problem I am having is that all periods are calculating correctly except for Period 12.  The same number that is calculate for Period 11 is posted to Period 12.
The Time Dimension looks correct with it's prior and current and next properties.
Here is the Business Rule setup, all entries you do not see are NULL
Transformation Group        Source         Source DataSRC     Destination Account   Destination DataSRC
    CEYTD                                NetIncome     TOTALADJ             29210                          Input
    Reverse Sign                      YTD        Remark
    False                                    True        CEYTD
Here is the logic I use to call the stored procedure.
    *RUN_STORED_PROCEDURE=SPRUNCALCACCOUNT([%App%], [Actual], [USD], [%SCOPETABLE%], [%LOGTABLE%], [CEYTD], [99])
    *COMMIT
    *RUN_STORED_PROCEDURE=SPRUNCALCACCOUNT([%App%], [Actual], [LC], [%SCOPETABLE%], [%LOGTABLE%], [CEYTD], [99])
    *COMMIT
If anyone has experienced this issue before, I would really appreciate some help on how to resolve it.
    Thank you,
    Mark Glowczewski

    Hi
why not try the script logic in doing this it will be much more flexible

  • Budget Control for Balance Sheet Accounts

    Hi All,
How can we manage budgets for Balance sheet Accounts such as Fixed Assets, IT Infrastructure, Capital Work in progress etc.,
    Thanks,
    Srikanth

    Hi Mr Vemuri,
The acount will appear in the budget setup if you go to:
Financials -> Chart of Accounts -> Select the account -> 'Account Details' -> check the box 'Relevant to Budget'.
By default only Profit and Loss accounts are included in the budget setup.
    I tested this in:
    2005B
    2005A SP01
    2007A
    I hope this helps.

  • Document Splitting - full balance sheet

    Hello,
Do we we have to setup Document splitting functionality when the requirement is to have a full balance sheet by Segment, Profit Center or by Business Area or are there other possiblities to meet this requirement?
    Many thanks

    Hi Jan
I fully subscribe to Chintan's view...
If you are on ECC version of SAP, does not make sense to ignore Doc Splitting and look for other haphazard avenues
