BEx Issue BI 7.0 - URGENt

Hi Team,
I'm having a query in BI 7.0 and doing the calculation as below for the quantity field.
example Test = A + B
I'm getting the result for the test field is 10.0000000-
But user want the value -10.000 . I'm trying to change the options in properties for the filed test still I'm getting 10.0000000-.
Pl advise. It's very URGENT. Thanks.
Regards,
Senthil

    Well, you're not using position:absolute, so you've got a big thumbs up from a bunch of us for that.
    Is there any chance you could post a link to this page on your server? It's much easier to troubleshoot from a browser than it is to rebuild the page from code fragments.
    If you haven't gone live with the page yet, create a folder called TEST in your site and save copies of the page and css there. Upload TEST and post a link to it here. Once the problem is found/fixed, delete TEST from the server.
    You can also attempt to use Firefox or Chrome to find your issue by right clicking > Inspect Element. All CSS that affects a given element will be displayed with file name and line numbers there.

  • Output routine fails but still output is issued....Urgent

    I have an output routine attached to a output type which generates IDOC. There are different conditions placed in the routine under which SY-SUBRC is made either 4 or 0.
    In one of the cases Sy-subrc is 4 but still output is issued and IDOC is generated...
    My question is even though output routine is not fulfilled is there a chance of output getting issued on the document ???
    Need you help urgently..........

    Hi,
    Yes the IDOC will be triggered with the different status.

  • BEx Issue - BEx not connecting

    Gurus,
    Need your help.
    Recently we applied a Windows Security patch at company and now I am not able to get connected to BEx analyzer either thru RRMX or from BEx applications. The Micorsoft Excel opens up but it is not connected by default using RRMX transaction. Also, Most of the Icons are greyed out and there is no action if I click on any other BEx Analyzer related Icons. On the Icons also I see GERMAN text but not the English.
    We have uninstalled and reinstalled the SAP GUI 7.1 also.
    Any clue?
    We are on BI7.0, PL 17 and Microsoft Office Excel 2003 - SP2.

  • Pricing issue with Product hierarchy - Urgent

    Hello,
    I have an issue on pricing determination with product hierarchy.
    I created product hierarchy as following,
    level1 - A0001
    level2 - A0001B0001
    level3 - A0001B0001C0001
    Then, assigned A0001B0001C0001 to material D in material master.
    I created condition record with A0001B0001C0001(level 3),  the system found the condition sucessfully when I created a sales order with material D.
    However, I created condition record with A0001(level1) but the system didn't get the price when I created the sales order with material D.  Since A0001B0001C0001 belongs to A0001, the system is supposed to get the price from the condition record with A0001...
    Could you please let me know how to fix it?

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot for your kind explanation.
    Here is the access sequence I defined.  I wonder if there is anyway I can define PRODH1, PRODH2, PRODH3 in access sequnce the same way with customer hierarchy so that the system can check higher level data.  If it's not allowed, I think I should define routine in requirement as you advised.  Thanks!
    *Accesses
    AcNo       Description
      1           Customer Hierarchy/Product Hiearchy
      2           Customer Hierarchy/Product Hiearchy
      3           Customer Hierarchy/Product Hiearchy
      4           Customer Hierarchy/Product Hiearchy
    Fields
      AcNo   Condition    Doc. field      field lable

                 PRODH     PRODH       Product hierarchy
         3      HIENR      HIEBO03     CustomerHierarchy 03
                 PRODH     PRODH       Product hierarchy
         4       HIENR      HIEBO04     CustomerHierarchy 04
                 PRODH     PRODH       Product hierarchy
    I wonder if I can assign product hierachy fields, PRODH1, PRODH2, PRODH3 to access sequence like customer hierarchy so that the system can check higher level data to get the price...

  • Tax issue in US - very urgent. !!

    Dear All,
    Someone from SAP told me that :
    "In US localisation the tax is depending
    only on the delivery and good receipt location.The tax code will apply for all the item depending on the Business partner ship to address in case of a delivery and on the location of warehouse in case of goods
    receipt"
    However, when i ask the end user from US, he told me that in one invoice, there are items which have GST, while other items on that invoice have PST + GST. Under this situation, the tax setting cannot be "generic" based on the ship-to-address. So, could anyone share with me:
    1, How to deal with this tax issue on one invoice?
    2, what's the general practice in US in the tax area?
    Million thanks

  • Issues in Production time : Urgent

    Hi Folks Can anybody help me in figuring out these issues on real time scenario...
    1) How to handle if the one system is down for long time when other subsequent systems are up and getting the data. ( The scenario  is  that we are sending   data to 3  different  Receiver and  one Source ) we cannot  stop the source  and cannot  resend the data to  the  down  system  because  we will loose  the sequential  order..
    2)  Message Missing though it is Successful in Sxmb_Moni and in Adapter Communication Channel
    500 Internal server error we have to find Manually and apply the SAP notes. Increase the Queue, Fine Tuning the Performance, increasing the Session of the Particular Adapter
    3) If it is Huge Load, the Message content  tab   does not  appears  ..If that is the case how to handle the situation
    4) 100000 + records how to handle it. SAP XI takes 4 hours to deliver to third party system has to send the data in 30 minutes...with help
    5)  How to make  a counter value  for  group  of  messages  handled  by  particular  Interface.  for  example  though the  messages  are chunked to  several blocks  we  need  continuity for  the counter
    6) Trace for JDBC adapter
    7) To debug in Visual Admin

( The scenario is that we are sending data to 3 different Receiver and one Source ) we cannot stop the source and cannot resend the data to the down system because we will loose the sequential order..
    for the system down XI makes the 3 attempts to resend the data to that system and the frequecy for eachtime is maintained in the paramter in SXMB_ADM...you can increase the parameter value so that XI tries to resend that many times before throwing the errror in SXMB_MONI...if still system is not up then once it is up you have to restart the messages in order....
    2) Message Missing though it is Successful in Sxmb_Moni and in Adapter Communication Channel
    Message missing ( if it sucesfull in SXMB_MONI and CC then you should recive the messgae in the target of the CC, it cannot say sucessfull  and then dnt deliver...
    500 Internal server error we have to find Manually and apply the SAP notes. Increase the Queue, Fine Tuning the Performance, increasing the Session of the Particular Adapter
    this delends on the interface flow( data) depneidng up on how system is performing you might end up doing the fine tuning......
    3) If it is Huge Load, the Message content tab does not appears ..If that is the case how to handle the situation:
    there is no alternative to this,,,if the payload is huge the MM tab takes some time to show the data only thing you can finetune to XI server ( check blogs on this)
    4) 100000 + records how to handle it. SAP XI takes 4 hours to deliver to third party system has to send the data in 30 minutes...with help
    100000 + records this is a huge number,,,,but should not take 4 hrs to process..if it is there is something wrong with the system...you have to do the finetuning and find out y it is taking more time.....
    ideally you can break this 100000 record into 10 files each containing 10000 records and process,,,,,use any file splitting program and call it in OS command in file adatper
    5) How to make a counter value for group of messages handled by particular Interface. for example though the messages are chunked to several blocks we need continuity for the counter.
    Need more info
    6) Trace for JDBC adapter : adapter monitoring details are not sufficent?

    These two Item categories you will find in Invoice correction request.
    When you go for creation of "Invoice correction request"(RK)  with reference to the "Incorrect Invoice", each item is duplicated in the Invoice correction request document as Credit memo items with Item category G2N and Debit memo items with Item category L2N having opposite sign. You can change in the debit memo items only here.
    You will find G2N with -ve sign beacuse it is payable/going out and L2N with +ve sign beacuse it is receiveable type and you should not change those.

  • BEX Issue:Intgration of master data and Open Items cube data

    Hello Gurus,
    I need some help in BEX queries.
    I have master data Contract Objects which has master information like Max Number of payment and monthly installments.
    In the open items cube I had open items balance for multiple line items. So I need a report which show Portfolio under which we can have multiple contract object.  So Portfolio P1 ->  contract objects C1, C2, C3 The report is as follows
    Portfolios  Total Amount               Open Items
    P1           Sum of total                Sum of open
                 amount each                 items in cube
                 contract object
                 under P1 C1 + C2 + C3
    1) Total Amount = Max Number of payment * Monthly installmens(Sum for each contract object in Portfolio)
    2) Open Items = Sum of all balances under open items cube.
    Now problem is if I join the two using multiprovide the Total amount gets SUMMED multiple times for each line items in open item for contract. I just wanted it summed for once for each contract object .
    How do I ensure that TOTAL AMOUNT IS calculated just once for each contract object ? Is there means to solve the problem.
    Regards,
    Check.

    Hi Ryan,
    Please go through this post to see the consequences of transaction load before master data load:

    thanx in advance

    Hi,
    Within LSMW, there is an option to write our own code wherein this code can be incorporated.
    This is in the Field Mapping Option...
    Just go to the Menu Extras->Layout
    and click on the check box Form Routines
    Global Data.
    Here you can define Global Variables and also perform your ABAP Coding.

  • Inconsistant overlay issues in same project - urgent help needed please!

    Hopefully this has not been asked. I searched and found nothing.
    The issue is that using overlays works great for two of the three menus in my project, but the third does not display properly when viewing a finished DVD or the TS folder. It looks perfect in simulator.
    Now for the details: the menus are pretty simple. They each consist of a Photoshop file with two layers. One is the background buttons (mostly plain text) and an overlay layer (underlines under the text). These are saved as psd files.
    When built and viewed, two of the menus operate normally - you roll over the text buttons, and an underline appears beneath them. The third menu does nothing when rolled over, yet if you click on a piece of text, it jumps to the proper section as expected.
    I have checked every setting I can think of to make sure everything is the same between the different menus. I even rebuilt the whole DVD from scratch, and made new menus in Photoshop. Each file was made as a "save as" to ensure that the settings were the same. Same for the menus in DVDSP - duplicates of a menu that work properly. Is there something I've overlooked? Is this an issue with DVDSP 3?
    Any help or suggestions are most appreciated. This forum is a great resource.

    Hi There
    The only thing that comes to mind is that something's changing in your button highlight states between your menus. Go to a menu that is working the way you want and select a button. In the button inspector go to the Colours tab and ine the bottom right corner click the Save As Default button. Then go to a menu that is not performing correctly, highlight a button, go to the Colours tab and click Restore Default.
    If that doesn't fix it at least you'll have ruled out a major culprit.
    Good Luck
    B

  • Mapping issue - transformdate mapping function - urgent

    all,
    payload has date as "000000000" the mapping function transformdate is changing to 0002XXXXX.
    y is this so?
    we are on sp 18 of xi 3.0.
    Did anyone face this issue
    Please respond.
    reg

    dont worry
    it is because in the datetrans function advanced properties, you have selected the option of a <b>Calendar is linient</b> and in any case the result, <b>it is a bug</b>
    <i>When a Calendar is lenient, it accepts a wider range of field values than it produces. For example, a lenient GregorianCalendar interprets MONTH == JANUARY, DAY_OF_MONTH == 32 as February 1. A non-lenient GregorianCalendar throws an exception when given out-of-range field settings. When calendars recompute field values for return by get(), they normalize them. For example, a GregorianCalendar always produces DAY_OF_MONTH  values between 1 and the length of the month.</i>

  • Getting leaked connection issues in ADF 11g - Urgent

    Hi,
    I am using Jdev 11.1.1.2.0 with ADF 11g.
    I am facing severe and recurring issues of leaked connections and JBO 29000. I have tried many ways but in vain.
    I observed that say on my own bowser if I do few login-logouts say 3-4 login logouts I start getting the error.
    Initially I thought that I can do away with this by increaing my initial connection pool size. It helped but then it was just so that I deferred the exception by few logouts.
    So I seriously doubt if my logout is releasing all resources. Here is what I am doing
    1. I send an audit record to DB for the logged in user
    2. I do commit/rollback
    3. I remove the session attributes associated to the logged user
    How and where do I get the session invalidate method. Is there something a miss?
    Kindly help.

    You can all an action and use code like
    public void logout(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
    try {
    ExternalContext ectx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext();
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)ectx.getResponse();
    HttpSession session = (HttpSession)ectx.getSession(false);
    session.invalidate();
    response.sendRedirect("Login.jsp");
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    }The important part is the session.invalidate()!
