Billing changes

My bill is normaly between 175.00 to 225.00 a month with 3 lines friends and family....my self and my daughter have 1000 text mgs each a month and my hubby has the 7pm option.my daughter had gotten a new phone in nov 24,2010.i  informed them i want the same plan NO changes to our account............I didnt add anything! no one in my family has used any data or internet on any of our phones over the past month (i do have a USB port which is another 59.99 a month).on nov 19,2010-- I checked my text mgs and my daughters texts over the phone neither one was over 1000.she was 867 and I was 560. I get the bill for Dec. and the we were charged for data 9.99, and then was charged for my daughters line going over last month(nov) 18.65 plus going over this month 1486 in text.................why were we charged for data on the new line when i didnt ask for it or use it? and why were we charged for overages in text mgs last month and again this month when I checked on the 19th of dec and was only 867 then? i dont understand how 600 text mgs could have been sent in one day? the bill doesnt make sense to me????? i have called twice to the service center and was told that my account would be credit with 111.30 (mgs)and 9.99 data. and this has not happen yet.......i called a third time and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would call me back but have not so far............please I need help understanding this??????? thank you!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not read the entire message, however if you change a phone number the bill is prorated between the two phone numbers....
You said she has 1000 messages, If the number was changed on the 15th day of a 30 day billing period, she would be allowed to have used 500 messages before the change..... if she used 750 messages before the change, there will be a charge for the extra 250 messages for that part of the period.
You can try and call and see if they will back date the phine number change so you will not have overages.
As for data, you made a change to her phone. Not knowing which it is, if it is one that as of Jan 18, 2010 began being charged data for new subscribers, I suspect that is what happened. A change was made so the data plan wautomatically was added. That you should be able to get removed, if you show all that happened was a phone number change.

    First check the config setting in VTFA, In item level, select "A" in Billing Quantity field.
    then go to VF01, put the sale order number & select the line where u put the sale order no. & click on "Selection List".
    It shows open qty as order qty. Here u can change the qty & click on "Copy" then save the doc.
    Pls revert if it is working.

  • How do get my bill changed from online & paper to ...

    I have an awkward problem.  I keep receiving online billing notifications for my EX husbands phone bill.  They had been going into spam automatically but one has just appeared in my inbox and I need to stop them.  I dont want to put his email address in as he may query that it wasnt changed before and I dont want any more rows.
    If I go into the account to change settings it will only allow me to change to online/paper free only, not paper only.

  • Billing change confirmation

    I spoke with a lady from Earl Shafer's department about my billing and she helped me with some changes that would lower my bill.  She got off the phone (sorry I forgot to write down her name) with me before everything was finalized for the price she quoted was not coming up in the system correctly and she needed to work on this.  This was 7/15 and I have be trying ever since via customer service calls and two messages I left on Mr. Shafer's line, 410-931-5231 to get some confirmation that the change occurred and the lenghth of the change will be in effect.  I don't think this is a major thing but I can not get this sent to me.  All previous changes I received a confirmation email but nothing this time.  My other issue was she said the change would take effect that day, but the new bill effective 7/23 had already been issued.  I wanted to be able to pay my new rate now instead of waiting for a credit on the next bill.  I thought if I mailed my payment in with my rate change confirmation the accountant processing the payment could see what I was doing and not charge me a late fee.......but nothing.  I am truly disappointed with how all of this is being handles.  Please help me anyone if you can.

    To send less or split the delivery is impossible to my client as no one knows how the customer confirm the stocks. Any kind of deliveries may need to be confirmed partially. And the consignment sales can't give us the accounting entries:
    Dr: Stock in Transit
      Cr: Inventory
    and
    Dr: COGS
      Cr: Stock in Transit
    As you know if there is some other way to deal with the stock in transit but POD. I mean the way to issue the stock in transit without the limitation of the deliveries. Actually we have apply the Material Ledger which is based on the movement of the stock. We should make the material movemet for the stock in transit to ensure the differences of the material to be distributed excatly.

  • My account type and billing changed without notification!

    I was given a promotional internet offer of Blast internet + TV with 12 mth of HBO promotional offer  in late May. They said that even if I move my offer will stay. It did even after the move initially until I exchanged the set-top box (because my new place required different box due to different signal type). Now they changed it to Performance pro with TV with higher bills and slower internet speed without notifying me. They even did a new credit inquiry even though I've been their costumer for over 3 years. I talked for hours with a representative and apparently no one is able to change it back to my previous plan. I am so disappointed with the service.

    Purchases are charged against the balance of the redeem gift card first.
    If the balance runs out, any further charges go against a credit or debit card on file.

  • Reason for billing change?

    AT&T call centers are closed right now, so I thought I'd give Apple discussion boards a shot I have an original iPhone with AT&T and I was paying the $39.99 price (minimum plan) with the $20 data plan (unlimited of course). So basically I was paying around $60/month for my phone. Recently my bill has gone up from $39.99 to $60.00 just for the minutes + $20 for the data plan. So now I'm paying roughly $90 (after taxes, etc) a month! Has everybody's rates changed due to some rate plan change because of the iPhone 3G? Thanks for your time!

    Why when BT are to make changes do they not notify customers, and get permission to do this before putting charges on accounts. Also when querying by phone are we put on hold until agents finish work. As I work in a Customer Service Centre I know full well this practice is not tolerated.

  • Absolutely furious with BT changing our bill amoun...

    Can someone explain to me why BT can suddenly change the billing amount every 3 months? When we signed up for BT 3 years ago we signed up for Vision and Broadband under the understanding that it was going to be a base rate of £40 a month (I understand of course if you make calls or watch films etc charges are added on).
    Now BT just decide they can change our monthly amount to £74!
    This has caused us trouble with the bank. We left £55 in there to make sure the direct debit of £51 (same direct debit amount as last month) would be paid and now its bounced because BT changed our direct debit to £74. So now we are going to be charged £15 for a bounced direct debit AND we have to find another £20 for NO REASON AT ALL.
    Completely and utterly unacceptable. We live under a really tight budget and simply cannot have our direct debits changed. I knew when the billing changed it would cause us trouble. Its such a ridiculously complicated system! I haven't got time to be worrying about what BT are going to be doing with my account this month. This is supposed to be a service, not something that has a negative impact on my life. Why can't it just be a flat rate like it was in the beginning?
    Our contract is up on August 30th and we will be leaving BT if BT cannot promise to stop changing our bill amount.

    Looking at the billing page it says this:
    "We need to raise your monthly paymentsbecause you're using more than before. Your new monthly payment will be £74.00 a month, starting on or just after 20 August. This new amount should cover what you're using now and let you clear the balance on this bill. And we'll keep checking your monthly payments to make sure you're not paying for more or less than you're actually using."
    Why do you need to raise our monthly payments?! I want facts as to why, you can't just say we are using more then suddenly charge us £20 a month more extra!
    I understand billing is done on a 3 month basis now, where we have to pay in advance (lol) for the services BT provide. This is one of the only services I pay for in advance. Electricity, Gas, Water, everything I pay for after i've used it. Not before. Anyway, I can live with that, fair enough, you need money.
    So, lets look at the July to October billing period. BT wants £151. Fair enough, 150 divided by 3 = 50. WHY ON EARTH DO YOU WANT £74 A MONTH FROM US?!

  • Billing Primary Number Changed

    Well, that wasn't cool at all.
    The Number at the top of my bill changed to one of my other numbers for no apparent reason.
    The number it changed to happens to be a number I provide for my 84 year old mom that lives in an apartment at the back of my house.
    I was late with my bill. Verizon called her number and left a voice message regarding my bill and included the amount I owe.
    It's a very high number because of the amount of services I have (5 smart-cells, 3 phones, 5HD TV's, 2 HD-DVR's, 100/60 internet).
    So mom calls me shouting about how I don't pay my bills on time and all the typical mom stuff she said 35 years ago when I was 15. MAN-O-MAN did that stink.
    So I check my bill today and all of a suddon I see that number listed as the primary contact. Last month and the previous 3 years it listed only the correct number. Nobody knows why it changed.
    3 hours, 4 departments, & 4 disconnects later, I wind up on the phone with Customer Support.
    They told me it would be fixed by end of day.
    Believe it or not, this is still way way better than cablevision's service.

  • I have been tricked to buy at&t hotspot device which substantially increased my monthly bill

    I had an extremely unpleasant experience at best buy mobile store which is located at the 750 7th ave, new york, ny, 10019.
    I went to this store to upgrade to my phone to an iphone 5s on Dec 30th 2013. I was told if I buy the hotspot product, then I only have to pay $25 for the iphone. I asked specifically will my monthly bill change for this product. The lady helped me looked into my family plan and told me she can downgrade my 3GB data plan to a 2GB and I won't feel anything on my monthly bill at all.
    When the bill due on February came out, I found that she purchased two different kinds of insurances for my line, which costs me around $10 dollars per month. What worse is that the hotspot costs me more than $40 per month, not mentioning one time fee of $36 dollars for the hotspot line. Also nothing has changed about the 3GB data plan on my line. So she failed to do the downgrade she mentioned to me, and now I have to pay $40/month more for her mistake.
    After I found out this, I brought the hotspot device (which I have not used at all yet) to  the store and asked why this happened. They changed three people to help me, each took a very long time to just understand the problem. After two and an half hours, I was told even though she sold the product with wrong information, the only solution for me is to either keep the current plan (for which I have to pay more than $40/month for 2 years) or go to the at&t to cancel the plan myself which will cost me $175 cancellation fee.  They agreed with their mistakes, but they told me they can't do anything simply because they are not at&t. 
    And also during the time of our communication, they called at&t to see if I lied anything about my plan, which of course they failed. But the action of trying to shift the blame on customer is unacceptable. 
    Now i am facing a ver large bill each month and I do not know what to do with it. Why should I have to bear the mistake of the store? Are there any ways to file a formal complaint?

    Back, I think in March or so, Verizon changed how they bill. Prior to this time frame my elderly mom paid the phone bill and I paid the DSL bill. The DSL bill came on my name and I paid by credit card and the phone bill came under her name and she paid by direct debit. She will not use a computer.
    So, they make both bills on her name and won't change it. They did, however, allow the payment from my credit card.
    The first unfortunate consequence was the internet speed suddenly dropped in speed by a factor of 2 to 1.5/364 and it did take me probably a month to notice it. NO ONE that I called was able to find the problem. It took multiple attempts until some bright “call in technician” said the problem is on their end and could be fixed in software. Thus, I believe, because of the name change, the provision changed too. The phone line crapped out too at this time.
    The troubleshooting was stupid too. I took another modem and connected it directly to the NID and directly to the laptop and the technician on the phone said, it's either in your house or your modem and wanted to send me a new modem which they did. I don' get it. This is the wrong conclusion.
    This shows the need of modems like Westell 2200 and the Westell 6100 because of the ability to measure line statistics and provisioned data rates.
    Verizon sent me a D-link model DSL-2750B modem which I have to return because its just plain old stupid. It boasts Wireless n and the wired ports are 10/100. What's up with that? Next, there are no line stats and a horrible interface, akin to Verizon's website. Still can't figure out how to put it in Bridge mode. I own a D-link repeater and the interface is fine.
    I asked them what modem they would send me and they would not tell me, so I got whatever piece of junk they had lying around.
    I have now purchased a Network RAID array with no wireless access and with ~400 mb/s access rates. Yep, really stupid router.
    Because of the number of outages, I have to be able to quickly switch from a bridge connected modem, Westel 6100) to one that is connected in direct mode, a Westell 2200 It's almost easy, but not quite, since the equipment is up in the rafters in the laundry room. The DSL cable is commercial terminated CAT5, which is rare. The modem is within 6' of the NID.
    Plans include, the ability to switch the DSL line with a switch with positions for Modem #1 (Bridge), Modem #2(Wired), #3(RJ11 – Normal wiring) and #4: RJ-11 (Reverse wiring) and moving the direct connect jack for easy access. In any event, testing with the DSL modem at the NID is the gold standard.
    In progress, is a 48 port Gigabit patch panel for phone and Ethernet, A separate 24 port RED patch panel will be bridged for phone.
    I have already upgraded my network infrastructure to include a UPS for the network infrastructure and POE (Power over Ethernet) for the DSL modem. The UPS backup does not backup a repeater although it may in the future.
    Now, let's go back to this seeming innocuous billing change.
    So, this constant having to access the modem in the alternate configuration and a medical condition (migraines) that makes it hard to think clearly. So, in one of these episodes, I placed my laptop on top a container that was soaking laundry.
    So, the LCD screen has to be replaced at $300 and the battery had to be replaced. Then the Ethernet cord to the modem got pulled and caused the laptop to fall on the floor. It worked for a few weeks and then suffered an UNRECOVERABE hard drive crash.
    During this time frame, in fact over a 2 day period. My mom ended up in the hospital and to a rehab facility. My car ended up staying in the shop for a few days because of parts unavailability. My hard drive crashed and their was water in the basement. I don't have time for this.
    Recovery would have cost $2004.00, if it were possible. I only have a drive image from 2011 which I have yet to try to use. I' now running UBUNTU Live rather than Windows 7 Pro. Some of the very important stuff was backed up on Flash, but a lot of stuff is gone forever.
    Plans are to contact the billing office and the attorney general's office in the state where billing questions need to be resolved.
    The last outage, fixed on July 27, was flagged as a phone outage by Verizon, when 18 routers supposedly died. 18 routers suspiciously means that they they were not adequately protected against surges. Verizon should look at the way DelMarVa Power reports outages: see: Delmarva,  Put the usual World Wide Web Prefix and the COMercial domain suffix
    For god's sake, quit making the website circular. I though Yahoo was the expert in that. I never visit Verizon's website unless there are problems. I mistaking thought I could find outage information, say using my phone's browser. This time I had to purchase service from CLEAR internet to ride me through this fix.
    I know, you can't fix stupid and you can always find a better idiot. Comcast is looking more attractive.
    Compensation of or my loss I will probably never get, but maybe with the help of the attorney general I can get the billing fixed. I do have power of attorney. Now, of course, the name the Verizon Website addresses me as is not right on this forum.
    All, basically because of Verizon's unreliable network, incompetent people and the lack of maintenance of copper lines. The problem is, “We have little choice”. Currently, we need traditional land-line service to support an Emergency Response system. It's unclear whether digital phone lines support Faxes and alarm monitoring reliably.
    I'll bet that there is NO WAY to tell Verizon if a service address as special needs like Emergency Medical reporting via phone or Internet, so that priorities for repair can be done properly. Utilities have that capability. Those ares with people with oxygen generators or other medical equipment get a higher priority,

    That should not be happening.  I sympathize with both of you (you and the the person who strated this thread).  That sounds like the reason I would never want Dish. 
    I am fortunate that my service with Verizon Fios has been very reliable and that I haven't had too many issues over the years.  But don't get me started on Verizon Wireless.  I am through with doing any more business with them once my cell phone minutes run out.  I love it when they say they have done everything the could to investigate such a simple issue with running my debit card transaction wrong and blaming it on my bank, i.e. running it through as a "debit" when I choose "credit" all of a sudden now  two times in a row after 4 years of doing it right as "credit".  And now they consider the issue closed on their end when nothing has been resolved.  That's no way to treat a long time customer and I really felt treated like I was a bother to them.  It's not like I ever paid them much money for this pre-paid cell phone service that I have used infrequently but I was really mad at the way they just wrote this off and pretty much told me "too bad".  Talk about "customer non-service".  It's also very hard to track the number of minutes left on my balance.  I'm due for an upgrade anyway.  I want to switch to the I-Phone from this flip phone but never again with Verizon Wireless.  T-Mobile is way more attractive.  Verizon  Wireless is not only an entity separatedfrom Fios but it's definitely a much different animal and their customer service has really gone downhill.  When you're treated like they don't care, it's maddening.
    My customer service experience with Fios overall has been far superior to that most of the time.  My setup is simple and even though there are some people who will inevitably complain about anything just to vent, I definitely believe at least some of what is posted here.  And switching TV, phone, and Internet providers is a lot more involved than switching a cell phone provider.

    I wanted to get an excel file of my itemised call log - no problem with the most recent bill - I got it through the view bill option. However the view bill option is not shown for the previous bill - is it possible to make it available or to get the excel file some other way.

    Before the online billing changes, you used to be able to download a .csv file of all calls made alongside the pdf of the bill for several previous quarters (don't remember how many, but at a guess probably at least the last four).
    I can download itemised calls for the last bill on the "What you used" page of "Your Latest Bill". That's fine, but I want to see itemised calls for the bill I got in February of this year.
    I don't know why this facility was removed, but I'd like it back! (and reading other messages I'm not the only one).

  • HELP my bill is all screwed up 2 months in a row

    with taxes and everything my bill is supposed to be $72 and some cents per month, thats what is has been ever since i started with Alltel over 3 years ago
    last month i talked to Verizon and made a deal to upgrade to a new phone for FREE , they said i would be able to keep my Alltel plan and there would be no extra charges so i agreed to it
    the next thing that happened was Verizon accidently shut my Alltel phone off for no apparent reason, i happened to have a spare phone that i was able to call them with, at first they denied that my phone had been shut off but after some further checking they found out it really was shut off, they apologised for the mistake and turned it back on
    well when the new FREE phone that i had agreed to arrived verizon tech told me that in order to activate the phone i would have to add a data plan to my account for an extra $25 a month, i simply cannot afford another $25 a month so because of thier mistakes they agreed to take the phone back and charge me nothing
    when the next bill came in the mail it was $178, the online bill for some reason was even more, so i called Verizon again and the first person i talked to said yes i owed all that money and there was nothing she could do about it, so i wait awhile and call Verizon again and talk to someone else, they agree the bill is a mistake and ask me to give them some time to get it taken care of and also supposedly give me a $25 customer satisfaction credit, a few days later my bill changes to $16.97 which is actually less than it should have been but after all this grief i just want it over with so i pay it online and it says in big green letters PAID IN FULL
    next month the bill is screwed up again, they added stuff from the paid in full bill to the next months bill, total is now $95.62 instead of the $72 its supposed to be, thats about $23 more than its supposed to be and if you figure in the supposed $25 customer satisfaction credit that i never really recieved it amounts to about a $48 over charge

    You only get one F&F number for your 500 minute plan???  That must be an OLD Alltel plan. Mine came with ten and now I have 12. $40 for plan, $25 for data, $25 for messaging.
    well my Alltel plan is just over 3 years old,  at the end of 2 years i was supposed to get another free friends and family number but Verizon refuses to let me have it, i never have a over minutes problem but i feel they owe me the free friends and family number and should be happy to give it to me but thats not the case
    text messaging seemed useless to me at the time so i turned it off
    when you say $25 for data what exactly does that get you ?
    with my plan i tether my phone to my computer for unlimited internet $25 a month, the only bad thing is it will not work with anything newer than windows XP so someday i might have to upgrade, hopefully internet cost will come down before then

    Hi All, Using CS6 Mac, I am  un successful in dragging and dropping a scanned image from PS to Illustrator. In the past i was able to do this with CS3 PC. Is this task possible? Mike
