Billing purchase history

When I click on a movie to rent on my apple tv it instructs me  that there is a billing problem with a previous purchase.  Go to the iTunes store on your computer and click purchase history to resolve problem.   I recently changed my billing card.      I have nothing in my purchase history.   But I'm not sure it is showing rented movies because I rent a lot.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Your purchase history includes rentals, if yours doesn't it might be because it's a different account to the one you are using for making rentals.

  • HT204088 There is a charge on my cc bill for $3.99, but no such charge is listed in my purchase history.  What is this charge for?

There is a charge on my credit card bill for $3.99, I cannot figure out what it is for.  I searched my purchase history, and nothing comes up that could be it.  Can somebody help me with this?  I am starting to think that maybe it is a subscrption to something...but don't know what it could be.  This is the second month in a row I have seen that charge.

If this is the second month that it's occured then it might be a subscription - there are instructions for checking if you have any, and how to stop them, on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098

  • I bought a song, and my account was charged. But it didn't download and didn't show up in my purchase history. I needed to verify my billing address, but i already filled that out.

The title sums it up, but i was charged but didn't get my download. It wasn't in my purchase history.

    Hi...
I needed to verify my billing address, but i already filled that out.

  • My iPad says there was a previous billing issue and to fix it in purchase history but I can't figure out how to get there.

I can't download any apps until this problem fixed

Launch iTunes on your computer and click on iTunes store on the left side bar. Click on Account under Quick Links on the right. You will have to enter your password and then you can access your purchase history on the next screen that you will come to.
But how you fix the problem from there is beyond my knowledge.
It could be an issue with your credit card as well. Read this.

  • HT201304 how can i track my purchase history on iTunes store?

I have got a bill for Apple iTunes but could not remember the purchase; so, I wonder how I can track the history of my purchase on the iTunes store?
    Thanks for your help.

Do it on iTunes on your  computer.  Go to Store > View Account.  Log in using your Apple ID.  Then choose "Purchase History".

  • App shown in "Purchase History" but not shown in "Purchase" tab

I tried syncing my Ipad2 to Ipad3. Only some of my  apps transferred to the new Ipad3.
I checked Itunes purchase log "Purchase History"  and it DOES show that I purchased the apps, but yet the app is not shown on the ipad3.
On the ipad3, went into App Store/ Purchased (tab at bottom).
My puchased app is not there. I only see the Free version.
I thought to try to see if I tried to purchase again, I would get a message that the item is already purchased.
It brought me all the way up to the credit card info page, so I stopped as I do not want to purchase again.
Question is...How do I get my purchased apps back ?
Purchase History shows it there and paid for, but everytime I try to restart and reconnect and re-sync and turn off then turn on, it does not come back.
I checked my Itunes apps, and the only app shown is the free version. What happened to the bought version?
I only have (1) Apple Id account.
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
    Thank you.
    J

Does it also not show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ?
You can try contacting iTunes support and see if they can see why it's not there (I'm not aware of any phone support for iTunes) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I entered my download digital copy into itunes, it is in my purchase history, but not in my itunes. Help

Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download from the store. If you don't have it on a backup of your downloads then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • HT204088 I  recently purchased 2 songs on iTunes and got charged twice on my bank account, I'm having trouble viewing my purchase history

I got charged twice for my recent purchase

What happens when you try to view your purchase history on your computer's iTunes ?
If both the charges are 'proper' charges (e.g. one of them isn't a temporary store holding charge) then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Date of Purchase/Purchase History Chaos

I noticed in my purchase history that the date recorded on my purchase was 2 days before the actual purchase. (I purchased on May 14, date recorded in iTunes store is May 12.) Can this cause any issues? Billing or otherwise? My calendar on my computer is accurate.

    Hi there...
To verify your actual date of purchase, you would need to have a valid
recipt from the reseller; be it the official email sent to you to use as
a proof of purchase or a paper recipt from a retailer. And maybe proof
of purchase from your credit card bank, as records of transactions are
kept for a period of time when you use such forms of payment.
A dated transaction showing a like payment amount (ie: the item is
identical to your iBook's cost) may not be good enough; but it is a start.
So, there are a few ways to validate that activity depending on payment.
Documentation is best if you keep it together from the first day; I have a
hard copy of all my online computer purchases and keep a copy with
each of my computer's paperwork. One visit to an authorized repair
service, and you can see the value in this. [I've had the repair people keep
my printed recipts, too; and that was unnecessary with full Applecare.]
Some credit cards offer an extended warranty of some type for a
limited group of electronics bought new with their card; to add up
to one year over the original coverage. But this is a separate
matter to check; usually before using those cards to buy stuff.

  • HT3702 There are charges to my credit card from itunes that are not showing in my purchase history. How do i find out what they are?

Having trouble identifying charges to my credit card bill. The charges can not be found in my purchase history.

You haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions (I'm not sure if they show on the purchase history or not, I don't have any so I can't check) - there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
And have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
    Store holding charge : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702
If you still can't find them, and your card isn't or hasn't been linked to any other accounts, then you may want to contact your card issue. You can also try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
