'Blocking' in the preview after Spot'n'patchin'

After ~ 40 spots on an image, the preview produced a slight blocking effect around groups of spots. The spots were on a dark suit, successfully dulling-out flash highlighted rain drops on its surface. Deleted then re-generated the preview - no change. Exported jpeg - perfect. Blocking goes away from preview when de-selecting S&P adjustment. Paying less attention to that preview.
More 1.x.x preview gremlins...

Shortcut for toggling on and off the preview after developing

I am searching for a shortcut to toggle on and off the preview of the developed Picture. So I can see "Before and After".
There is written in the German Version of the Shortcut List: Nur Vorher anzeigen -- \
Be aware that it is not / which you will get with SHIFT-7 but for \ you have to SHIFT-ALT-7.
This shortcut marks the picture into yellow and does not as intended.

yes you are quite right. It is the backslash as you may see in the original post. It is SHIFT-ALT 7 and this will generate "\".
And also it is said to be exactly for this purpose (Before-After). But it does´t do so. That was my question.
I also had since then contact to Support from Adobe, but they could not help either.

This seems normal to mee, because you've added Thread.sleep(3000);
This will make your current Tread inactive for 3sec. (so no UI rendering)

I have the latest downloadable version of LR5. It crashed while it was createing 1:1 previews during an import. After a Win7(64) restart, it shows a message that LR needs to quit because it can't read the preview files and it will try to fix it the next

I get the same message the next and every subsequent time it launches so I can't launch LR at all now.
I get that the preview file got corrupted somehow. Is there some way to fix this problem without building a new catalog?

Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. You will see a folder with the extension .lrdata. You need to delete that folder and then start Lightroom again. Lightroom will generate a new previews folder.

As KP has pointed out, there actually aren't any anti-virus programs in the App Store. There are a few that allow you to scan e-mail or stuff like that, and a few that provide you with information about malware and new threats for other systems. But none are available that can scan your iOS device for malware, because the security restrictions in iOS do not permit any apps to have that kind of access to anything. Which means that you also cannot be infected with a virus (unless you have jailbroken your device).
If your account got compromised, that had nothing whatsoever to do with your iPad. Someone simply hacked it remotely. Happens all the time. It's really amazing that, in this day and age, e-mail providers are so ignorant of technology and how their own systems get compromised that they would try to require you to run software that does not exist!

If I set the default program for viewing PDF as Acrobat XI Pro the a PDF file will open with Acrobat XI Pro, but in Outlook I will get a white screen and the information bubble "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for it" and in Windows Explorer I get a white screen in the preview pane.

I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
Details of the problem:
The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows WS10000060 Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
1.     Shopping created
2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
3.     Shopping cart is saved.
4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status awaiting approval
5.     The section approval shows No workflow started , application error occurred
6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
7.     The work item container does not show any agents
I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.

I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
What should I do.. , anything am I missing .

Effect works in the preview, but not after export. (10.1.1)

Hi all.
I am new to FCP, making a simple slide show movie with some Ken Burns images, music and titles. For one image there is some color correction, Ken Burns, and I want the image to fade from Black and White to Color. I did this by adding the Black and White effect, choosing "show video animation" in the timeline and making the B&W effect gradually decrease. It works perfectly in the preview, but when I share the video, the effect is always missing (it just stays B&W). I have tried:
Undoing and redoing the effect
Exporting to different formats
Turning off background rendering and deleting render files
to no avail. Any thoughts?

I'm hoping to avoid updating until after this movie is delivered. I find it best not to tinker with stable software mid-project. Maybe if I get desperate enough I'll give it a whirl, though.

Users are not able to save pdfs after editing - Adobe XI. They do not use the Win7 explorer preview pane. If they completely close the Win7 explorer window, they can save - Adobe XI thinks the preview pane is open when it is not.

Users are not able to save pdfs after editing. Product is Adobe XI, OS is Win7 64-bit. When saving, an error pops up that the file cannot be saved, it is in use. If they save as a different name, it works. Found several forums/blogs/etc that suggest the problem can be solved by closing the Window7 explorer preview pane. They don't use the preview pane. I figured out that if they completely close the explorer window, they can save. But this means they have to open and close explorer for each file.

Hi, I would like to chime in and say that this problem has not yet been resolved. It is extremely annoying when all I do is highlight a document in the file explorer and I get 5 errors (evenly spaced out about 20 seconds apart telling me that "Microsoft
Word Cannot Start (24)". These errors persist even after windows explorer and word are closed. And I don't want to start terminating processes just to make them stop every time.
I'm a little frustrated with this problem and the other problems I've encountered with MS Office 2013 with file corruption, crashing, 2010 compatibility issues, and the whole host of errors when trying to actually do WORK with Word.

After updates the "preview" window is "hazy" CS 4.2.1

I worked with some .DV files the other day without any issues. Today I applied all updates to Adobe and now the same project that worked just fine the other day is acting weird. The preview video has what looks like a hazy on it and it when previewing a video the sounds works just fine but the video goes to black.
Any ideas. I was going to use windows restore to roll my computer back a few days but it was turned off.

If you sure the update is to blame, just un-install your suite, run Clean CS4 a couple of times, and re-install. Turn your auto Adobe updates off so you can pick and choose the updates you want to apply.
Are you, by any chance, also running after effects??

I cant get elements logo's and photo's to stay in place the are in a good spot when i place them bud when i look at the preview the suddenly moved 60 or more pixels from there spot.

I have a scenario, When we are creating FOC order, automatically Delivery Block is
appeared. After an authorised person releases the order, the Delivery is
made against it.
Now if the order is released and any amendment is made in the order, FOC

The best option of meeting your requirement is using a User exit which would put a Delivery block when the Sales Order details are changes.
USER EXIT --> USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
