Call Monitoring on UCCX 5.0

Our Agents ACD line appears on the 2nd button on the phone device and the Agents Primary Line on the 1st button. When the agent uses their Primary Line, call monitoring will pick up their conversation. Is there a way to disable the monitoring of the Primary Line? We only want to monitor the ACD line.

There is not with the built-in CSD recording. Alternatively you could use QM or third-party recording product which relies on the CUCM BiB recording functionality. In that scenario you can apply a monitoring CSS to the supervisor's phone which does not give them access to the agent's non-ACD line.

  • CCX Call Monitoring

I have a client that is running CCX 7.0.1(SR5) with CUCM 7.1.3 and has issue on call monitoring for half of the agents. Some of these agents have the same pc and phone type with pretty much the same setting (have not verified device driver level on NIC). But some can monitored and some can't. Have anyone experienced this similar issue and how to correct them.
    Thanks.

This is all monitored Agenten, both the supervisor should be  stopped!
And should be adjusted, as  follows, if you have Windows 2000 machine (this is, if I remember  correctly):

Then you should try to belehallgatást the "modified" agente.
I met a case where the onboard sound card but had not gone so  throw a separate card in the machine.

  • What Happened 2 the Call Monitor

Hello Other Sykpe Users-- What happened 2 the call monitor that used 2 let U know exactly how much credit U have left while U R talking.  With the new system, I have been cut off 3 times without any warning--I don't like the new system.  Do I have a choice so that I can use the call monitor???   Please help with this subject.  I could not find any such question on the public board.  Thanks for UR help.   JCP

Hello Claudius--thank U for this suggestion.  I am aware of auto credit; however, I found the previous model much more useful 2 me than the current one.  Unfortunately, my relatives do not have access 2 SKYPE & therefore, I have 2 call their cellphones.  I even tried a subscription, but with that method, if U use up UR credit U have 2 wait until 30 days has passed 2 renew the sub-scription.  In the meantime, U have 2 pay full price 2 get as-U-go credit.  All this dilema could B solved if SKYPE would just return 2 the previous format.  Perhaps this post will encourage other users 2 start a thread requesting that SKYPE reverse this part of the new format.  Again, thanks 4 UR suggestion--at least I found out that I do understand how the system works.  I just don't like the current format; therefore, I will revert 2 using calling cards which R much cheaper as long as I use the full amount all at once.  JCP

  • Call Monitoring

I have found several NetPro postings that indicate CUCM 6.1 will support call monitoring. I have found a few Cisco documents that provide an overview of the technology and provide a diagram.
Can anyone point me to any documentation explaining how to actually enable and configure this feature?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi,
To take advantage of the Call Monitoring feature, you are going to need to integrate CUCM with another application that uses CTI and/or JTAPI/TSP. In short you can monitor calls if you have IPCC integrated with CUCM.

  • Windows 7 64 bit not monitoring on UCCX 7.0(2)

    Hi,
I upgraded a 7.0(1) system to 7.0(2) to get support for Windows 7 and CSD is still not able to monitor agent calls who are on Windows 7 64 bit OS versions. The 7.02 release notes document states WIndows 7 is supported and WoW64 but doesn't mention anything about any limitations that I can see. I've ran postinstall, etc and everything checks out.
In this document, it states Windows 7 / WOW64 suppoort for 7.0(2) but has note for 8-0 that montoring is not supported for WOW64 just for 8.0.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps7046/ps7282/product_bulletin_c25-563280_ps427_Products_Bulletin.html
So is there a special way to install CAD / CSD as WOW64 on Windows 7 64 bit, or is there something else going on preventing the monitoring not working for windows 7 agents?  The supervisors can monitor Windows XP agents just fine, except for one agent which we're working on the agents PC to see whats going on.

There is no special way to install CAD, it is just a msi file. On both my Windows 7 professional machines it installed fine. I have remote access to a couple of the customers machines so I have tried uninstall/re-install. I did not want to patch the registry in case I BSOD their machine. If I was on site I would have a go.
The customer has around 180 machines running Windows 7 ultimate and none of them have installed the correct packet driver.
The install program must detect if this is a 64 bit OS and install the 64 bit driver, or in some cases maybe not.
If your machines have installed the correct driver there is a test program. C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco\Desktop\bin.
Make a call from the agents phone, internal is OK and then run NICQ.exe its output is written to a file called NICQ_Output.txt

  • Using CUIC to Show Calls Waiting on UCCX 9.0.2

    Hi,
I am about to deploy UCCX 9 for a customer, and they want to use CUIC to replace their existing wallboard.  This appears to be fine with the exception that none of the existing or available report definitions show calls waiting (as they are based on the Historical Reports Package).
Can anyone offer any advice, or share a report definition that would allow me to show this?
    Regards
    Tony

    Hi Tony
I've not played with CUIC properly myself, but basically you need to get a Lab or NFR kit for CUIC Premium; with that you can created customised reports and import those to the UCCX system.

  • CUCCX 8.0 - Call monitoring and recording

    Hello,
I've worked with desktop-side monitoring and recording on various versions fo CUCCX in the past and have come to the point where this particular solution is not practicle anymore (we would need cordinate with the desktop group to install Cisco-approved NICs, and yes I am aware that there is a workaround but it doesn't work on NICs that do not support promiscuous mode.)
CUCCX supports a server-side method as well, but I have no experience in it and would like to find a how-to document.  Would it work in a mixed network environment?  Any pointers would be helpful.

    Hi
In my experience the 'lack of support for promiscuous mode' NICs is vastly overstated. I've not come accross a single NIC that doesn't work. I suspect that document was written back when NICs were based on valves or something.
Typically the main issues are simple config errors - not doing span-to-pc-port, not daisy chaining PCs, etc.(And on v8.0+ it's usually due to the services falling over, which will ruin things for you whether you use CAD or server-side monitoring!)
RE: server side monitoring - I've worked on some fairly large SPAN based deployments. UCCX is pretty agnostic, you just need to make sure it sees each conversation (and sees each one only once!) using whatever SPAN config you can. It's more a question of how handy you are with networking than anything specific to UCCX.

  • National do-not-call-list with UCCX

    Hi,
Is it possible to program the UCCX to block automatically number appears in a "do not call list" from the contact campaign list ?  I have found some way do to that with ICM but not with UCCX.
    Thanks,

No, the documentation specifically states, that you need to do this before uploading the contacts.

  • Unsynchronised Voice when monitoring in UCCX 7

A couple of our supervisors have developed an intermittent problem.
When they are silent monitoring an agent, the agent and the callers voice are out of synchronisation.
Meaning they hear the caller answer the agent question before they hear the question.
Has anyone come across this before.
    Regards
    Rick

You can check on the section "Configuring Enterprise Data", you can modify the CAD loyout with the available extra parameters. In your case if the calls are coming from different Cities i.e different ANI's than this is already being displayed in the Enterprise parameters of the CAD layout. You can always customize this layout accoring to your requirement.
Please use the below link for more information on this,

  • Calling name in UCCX

Is it possible to set the calling name (display name) when a call is transferred by UCCX script ?

    Hi Paolo
No, it's not - CLI/N is a bit of a sticking point with UCCX. IN 10.0 you can set the call so it shows the outside caller's actual number, prior to that it shows the CTI port number. You can never 'set' the name.
    Some suggestions:
    1) If you are doing a 'transfer' e.g. call redirect step, rather than routing to an agent, and if you have a small number of 'names' (for example, you take calls for 5 menu options, and want to set that on the call e.g. 'sales', 'cs' or whatever)... you can transfer the call to a CTI RP, name the CTI RP 'Sales' (alerting/display name) and then forward that to the intended extension. The receiving extension would then see 'Forwarded for Sales'. Similar for sending to a hunt group..
    2) If you are routing to an agent with a select step, you can set a CAD workflow to pop up an alert with the name. Or you could just set Enterprise data and add show it in CAD. It doesn't appear on the handset, but is there on the PC screen, and you have the advantage of being able to set it to whatever you want per call.

  • How Incoming calls come to UCCX IVR

i have create internal calls from uccx to ucm. but when i try to call from PSTN the call is not reached to UCCX recording. can any one help to solve this issue by steps by steps.

As explained by Anand you need to ensure the cti and cti ports are reachable from GW CSS. Basically, here is what to do:
build the trigger using one of your DIDs
ensure the CSS applied to the GW has access to partitions assigned to the CTI route point AND cti ports.
If you already assigned a non DID number as JTAPI trigger you can add a translation pattern in CUCM to translate a DID to this number.

  • Retrieve realtime call info via UCCX database ?

    Hi guys,
UCCX 8.0/8.5. I wanted to get a realtime list of active  calls in the system from the UCCX database (currently using the  uccxhruser but I've tried with uccxwallboard as well). This would  include things like time started, the agent handling the call,  peripheral variables, etc. The contactcalldetail and  agentconnectiondetail tables only seem to show calls that have completed  (although the information in contactcalldetail is perfect for what I  need).
Is this even possible, or do we have to resort to using the UCCX realtime CTI feed to get this information?
    Thanks,
    Robby

    Hi
I would say CTI may be the way to go. Historical tables are just that; I've used them to track agent state detail (for example) but that's a state change so is generally pretty 'live'. Call data is written as calls complete as far as I'm aware, so you might get a contactroutingdetail entry by the time it hits an agent, but probably not an agentconnectiondetail entry.

  • Problem with redirect script when calling from external - UCCX

    Hi,
I have a problem with external calls not being redirected when the call comes from an external that begins with a certain prefix on teh ANI.
The call path goes PSTN - VGW - UCM SUB - UCCX.
To give you info this should be redirected to a auto attendant on unity but it just hits the fourth option unsuccessful.
If i change it to match an internal ANI and test it works.
What trace and log do i look at to see the call coming in from the UCM and what is happening with it why this is failing when it trys to redirect a call coming from external?
I have also attached my script.
    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Martin Braun,
Go to GUI status which you set in the PBO of your screen,
    and open "Function Keys" part.
You should have set function key F4 for a button on your GUI status,
delete this button and create with another function key again.
    I hope it helps.
