Can JAXM replace AXIS for SOAP communication?

Hi,
I am new to Java and SOAP. I've been asked to rewrite some java code that accesses a soap service at a sister company. Currently the code uses apache axis & saaj (so there are about 7 jars included) to do the communication with soap. I've been asked to trim this code down to a much lighter weight program (and I quote... 1 jar if possible). Can JAXM do this, or does anyone else have a suggestion as to other libraries out there that can help interface with soap using less overhead?

My interface is SOAP to SOAP..which has 2 operations..1.check..2.update.
If your receiver determination is set to Operation Specific, then you may have not placed any specific receiver for your update operation. Also check the namespaces that is declared in your receiver determination.

If you charge your cat rent to live with you (assuming your cat has a job), then you can add the cost of replacement to the rent or take it out of the security deposit. With your new funds, you can go to Apple and buy a new pair of headphones. Hope this helps.

Request Response Bean for SOAP Sender Adapter

Is it possible to use Request Response Bean Module described (FIle to RFC to File here) for SOAP(sender) and JDBC(receiver) adapter?
I want to configure SOAP to JDBC to JDBC scenario.

Scenario:
I will do SOAP adapter call Asynchronously and JDBC receiver adapter will select data from database. This response will go back to SOAP adapter and then SOAP will divert this response to another JDBC adapter. This JDBC adapter will insert data into another database.
I do not want to use ccBPM. Is there any design approach to implement this scenario?

Hi Sandeep,
SAP says SOAP sender adapter does not support Modules. You can serch Help.sap (for SOAP sender channel) to find the same.
I would suggest to use AXIS adapter (provides all the functionality of SOAP) and supports the Modules as well.
I have used the Module beans that you mentioned in the past... but it is not consistent with its processing.. sometimes it stucks with Message ID issue... I have seen same issue faced some other friends as well .. search on SDN you will find the issue with these modules...
Using BPM would be another option...

Can I Replace or Extend the Fiber Optic Cable?

There is a cable that runs from the Verizon box outside of my house, comes into the basement corner of the house, and plugs into the router. Do I assume this is fiber optic cable? This cable is about 3 ft long which is problematic in getting a good signal throughout my house. I would like to move the router up one floor. All the other cords and cables are long enough to do so.
My question is what is this cable called and can I replace it or extend it myself? If so, is there any pertinent information I would need to know to do so such as part names and where to get them. If not, how do I get a longer cable installed.
I am not tech savvy and grateful for any help.

No. The fiber optic cable attaches to the Optical Network Terminal (ONT), which is usually outside.
For speed tiers < 100Mbps, the installation is usually coax from the ONT to your router.
For speed tiers > 100Mbps, the installation is always ethernet from the ONT to your router.
If the cable from the ONT is indeed an ethernet cable, you can certainly replace it.
The ONT has a standard RJ45 jack which the other end of the cable is connected to.
You can confirm if you're connected via ethernet in two ways.
1) The WAN ETHERNET light on your router should be lit and the WAN coax light should be off.
2) The ethernet cable should be connected to the white WAN port on the back of your router.
Since your ONT is outside, replacing the ethernet cable presents a couple of problems..
1) When VZ installed the cable, they passed it through the wall, then sealed the opening with silicone.
You need to make sure you can fit a preterminated cable through that opening unless you're capable of terminating a cat5 cable yourself.
2) You need to reseal the opening with silicone.
An easier option is an RJ45 coupler.

Can anyone tell if there is a very similar replacement model for the C4783? I need the same forn factor.

I am not sure you can find replacement models for this printer but I will do my best to find out. The entire product line for Photosmart C4600 and C4700 are the last models to use that same printer shape and size. I checked for compatible printers that used that kind of ink and none even looked like the same kind of printer. The next generation was the Photosmart D110 which would have been the possible upgraded version of this printer but it is hard to say if it is going to have the same "forn factor."
Are you referring to the form factor as the chassis or as an electrical component? I found your exact model of printer at the HP Parts Store listed as a replacement model (product #: Q8380B) suggesting to contact one of these available resellers. I hope this answers your questions. If not, define forn factor and hopefully I can help you more.

SOAP to Poxy in this case.
For sender SOAP system, we can generate the WSDL link in ID part.
for Reveiver proxy give the integration engine URL.

Thanks for ur help...
I've tested with soapUI and it is working fine. When I send the data from soapUI , it is reaching to third party and I get response as 'success' So the url is also fine.
The same data when XI is sending it is throwing an error.
One more thing here -- The XI server is in intranet and TP is in DMZ .... there is a firewall in between them...
1. When I execute thr soapUI (from intranet) it is reaching to TP (DMZ)
2. When I execute thr XI (intranet) its throwing an error.
Is this because of firewall settings ?
