Can't cancel subscription online

Hi: have tried cancelling my world subscription online with both Safari and Firefox multiple times on the correct page and keeps on showing as active- is this a temporary bug?!

    Your account shows that you have an India 800 mins 1 month recurring Subscription which started on March 15th 2015 and you renewed it on April 10th 2015. Because you have used your full 800 minutes allocation in your current billing cycle your next allocation will be applied to your account at midnight UTC/GMT on April 15th. To cancel go your Account Page. Cancellations are effective on the last day of your current billing cycle. Subscriptions aren't refundable.

  • Can't cancel subscription

    I took out a 1 month subscription for 400 minutes to France to call a friend on her mobile phone. I have used all the minutes and tried to cancel the subscription before I get charged for another month.
    I clicked on the cancel link and all the subsequent links up to the one that says are you sure, then it just loops back to my account page and the subscription is still there.
    I looked in the help guide and my account page looks nothing like the one shown in the guide, mine looks very crude and seems to lack functionality.

    Haven't seen similar reports, so could you try to use a different browser and maybe as Foyan said clear browser cache, if problem persists please contact customer service and they can look into this problem: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1170/How-can-I-contact-Skype-Customer-Service
    Of course they can help you cancel subscription as well.

    Hi. I recently ordered a MacBook with 4GB of RAM online. I have some free time tomorrow and would rather cancel the online order (which has not yet shipped) and go to the Apple store 45mins from me and buy it there. I have some questions:
    1. Can you buy the 4GB RAM MacBook in the store, or is it online only?
    2. Can I use the financing card (Baraclay, I think?) to purchase the MacBook in person even if I do not have a physical copy? If so, how?
    3. How long will it take to erase the credit charge on the financing card if I do cancel my order?

    I'd much prefer to have correct answers in threads so I decided to do some detective work for you. I decided to make two phone calls this morning, one to the "manager on the floor" at an Apple Retail Store and the other to the Apple Online Store Sales & Support group. Both people I spoke with were aware of my intentions on the phone call and that I would be quoting them in this thread.
    If I buy a computer online, can I return/exchange it at the store?
    It depends. If the machine is a standard configuration (has a part number that starts with MBxxx/A) and is not damaged, then yes we can accept it as a return/exchange in store. If it has a customer configuration (has a part number that stars with Zxxx) then no, we are unable to offer an exchange/refund at the store for that unit. If it is DOA we can coordinate a service/replacement with AppleCare.
    Can I upgraded to 4GB of RAM in-store?
    Absolutely, we stock RAM specifically for this upgrade and charge the same price as online. You're responsible to buy the computer and the RAM upgrade first and then we will install it for you.
    Can I use the Barclay's card, even if I don't have it my possession?

    We bill the card when the unit ships. However, the order must be cancelled prior to its status being changed into "prepared for shipment" as this means we've already allocated the part for shipment and at which point it cannot be cancelled.
    Hopefully that clears things up. I figured not much had changed since I use to work for Apple, but rather than being smug about it I wanted to hear it "from the staff at the Apple Store." As with anything you read on the Internet, take it for what it's worth.

    I am trying to find out how to cancel my Skype Premium subscription. There are no subscriptions under the "My Subscriptions" area on the homepage of my account. But I can't remove my credit card from my account due to a reoccuring payment to a subscription. This is beyond infuriating and would just like to have my subscription canceled.     I have been using Skype from a long time from india. Whenever I am in USA i use Skype Paid International calling to call back my Home country India. Most recently I was in USA and got a subscription of 800 minutes one month calling at around 9$. Skype India mobile and Landline calling have been declared as to be discontinued from 10 Nov. I received a bill today(8 Nov 2014) with re charge of the 800 minutes subscription india calling. I am surprised to see that why I was billed even if India calling is no more being allowed from Skype. As well as my subscription is showing 11 minutes left. I think this is some mistake on Skype end. I have summarized my problems below.
    1. I have been charged/billed with a subscription which is no longer valid in India.
    2. Although I have billed with such amount My subscription minutes are only 11.
    3. I am trying to disconnect my subscription but from last 5 hours I am getting the following message and I am not able to end my subscription.
    "Oops, something went wrong...
    We're having technical problems. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after a few minutes.

    4. There is no process to contact any one responsible for this from Skype. I really spend my hour to finally get to this point where I can share my problem with some one.

    Ok, I'm really pissed off right now, so I try to keep calm and not swear.. so here's what happened:
    - Last month I couldn't get into my account anymore with the same login details
    - after a lot of hassle, I was able to get back in, but was forced to log in with Microsoft account instead my original Skype account xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx​xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx​xxxx
    - I got an e-mail stating an invoice of 60 Euros for 800 mins to Ukraine(!). I don't know anyone there, no way I would want to call anyone there.
    - I assumed my account had been hacked so I changed all passwords, etc.
    - Now, 1 month later, my account is charged again. Turns out the hacker bought me a monthly subscription for 800 mins to Ukraine, jaaaay! 
    - I tried to cancel the subscription, but I get a "OOPS, something went wrong" message and it tells me to contact support with this ID : ID: REQUEST-6329897c/2014110912
    - I tried to just disconnect the Paypal payment to prevent any more charges, but then it states I should cancel the subscription first. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
    - So WHERE XXXXX  IS SKYPE SERVICE?!?! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx​xxxxxxxx there is NO way to actually send them an e-mail about it. 
    Just leave it up to the community right? 
    So basically I want two things: refunds for both transactions of 120 euro in total (somehow my account only shows the last one, probably, because I had to switch to a MS account login) and disconnection of the Paypal payment method, so this can never happen again.

    You could cancel it but It will not work that way..  Cause you already use the 2 year contract deal on the preorder that you just preorder.. trust me I tried that already when the last time I did a pre-order on the iPhone 5 when they do the first preorder live.... Cause when you did your preorder there was agreement that you agree that they put on the agreement.. So if I were you I wait.. What if you cancel your and then you when on the release date and try to get one what if they're all sold out.... and you know that its crazy on the release date.. Will if you do good luck waiting in line..

    You should be able to see the duplicate subscription in your account dashboard, where we sign on to the Skype website to manage payment methods and so on.  There, you can cancel the duplicate subscription and then request a refund by contacting Skype Customer Service. 
    Please do not be discouraged if you can not reach Skype Customer Service on yoru first attempt.  Skype is aware of continuing website problems.  If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.  Temporarily enabling scripts and pop-up windows may help get you through more quickly.
    Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
    Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

    Online Number cannot be cancelled.
    It is not a recurring payment, so when it's about to expire, just do not extend it.
    If it is a new order and you made a mistake for example, then you might try to request a refund from Skype Customer Service.
