Cannot add approver / reviewer

Hi All
We are on SRM 5.0 SRM Server 5.5.
When we try to add approver or reviewer the add approver / add review icons are greyed out for both shopping carts and PO's.
When we change the BBP_WFL_SECURITY to any level in personalisation this has no effect.
am I missing some config / other settings?

Hi,
See if the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW is implemented in SE18.If there is any active implementation for this BADI,deactivate it.

Hi All
One more question-we are in SRM4.0
We managed to enable the add approver and add reviewer tabs under approval.
Now when we try to add approver or reviewer the system does not fetch any data. Do we need to maintain a separate table of approvers and reviewers and link a program so that when user clicks on the tab, the data is fetched from the table....or there is some other way out.

I am having a similar kind of issue like what you had months back. The 'Add approver' and 'Add reviewer' buttons are disabled on the shopping cart status overview. I have the approval task TS10008126 as general task (Not general fowarding allowed). Also the SAP provided BADI SAP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW is active in the system. But for some reason the add approver/reviewer buttons are greyed out.
How did you resolve your issue? Appreciate your help

Hi,
When we create SC in srm we get an option to add approver/ reviwer.
Please let me know to do so, do we need to activate any workflow as ad hoc approval workflow etc...
How the approver and reviewer gets selected in the approval flow based on which logic.

if you want BY Default the add approver/reviewer in the SC itself then you have add the logic in the workflow based on the logic (for example if you getting the approver/reviewer from the Z table add the approver/reviewer there itself)
So when are creating the SC the approver /reviewer will appear in the workflow
The Basic function of ADD APPROVER/REVIEWER is an adhoc only .when you feel for this SC if you want to add an approver you can add the approver before the SC is saved. Incase of reviewer is only for information that the SC is created.

Add Approver / Reviewer Button

Hello Experts - I did search the forum before posting this note and only found information that I already knew about this. The add approver, add reviewer button is displayed and works in our QA region but not in Production.
I compared the source code by right clicking on a req and found difference's between the HTML in the two regions. Also, dev shows bbpsc01/99/saplbbp_1000.html and prod bbpsc02/99/saplbbp_2000.html shows BBP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW badi is not active in either region and yet add approver / add reviewer works in QA. I badi is in se18 in both regions, not se19.
I ran a compare of the code in both regions for bbpsc01/99/saplbbp_sc_ui_its_100, 1000, 110, 120, 150, 1000 and 2000. No difference's found between any of them
in the two regions. I have also compared the transports in the two regions.
Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Cannot Add Approved App To A Web Page - App Does Not Show in the App Part Section.

Hi all,
I have successfully add an App from the SharePoint App Store to my SharePoint Site which was developed using SharePoint 2013. The added app was successfully Approved then when I try to add that app using the App Part to a web page I cannot Find it
in the App Part section. I looked in the Site Collection Features & Site Features I couldn't find the app to activate. I don't think I have done some kind of mistake. So then what else I have to do to add that App part to the web page.
Could someone try to solve this matter?

First, are you sure the App contains an App Part? Not all Apps are written to have app parts. Second, did you add the app to the site collection from Add an App in the Site Contents page? Apps that are added and approved from the Store
are added to the App Catalog for the Web Application. You would normally add them to the Site Collection from there after they are approved.

'Add Approver' is inactive for SRM contracts

Dear colleagues,
We have deal with SRM 5.5. The point is that the button 'Add Approver' is inactive for 'Approval Preview'.
This issue regarding SRM contracts. Does anybody know how to activate usage of "add approver" during approvement of a contract.

I've had a look at notice 'ADD Approver/Reviewer buttons are disabled' by N M Poojari ( ADD Approver/Reviewer buttons are disabled), unfortunately, author didn't point to solution of his problem. So, I'll appreciate more detailed plan of actions.

However, the problem was caused by my attempt to to do the following steps with a wrong WF (instead standart workflow for contracts (WS14000148) we use Z-flow) :
PFTC -> Select workflow template -> workflow you are using -> Display -> Additional data ->
Agent Assignment -> Maintain -> Attributes -> Select radio button
'General Task'. -> The problem is solved

Document creator cannot add adhoc approver in shop-in one screen

Hi All,
We are working with SRM 7.0, SP11 with extended classic implementation. We have observed that while creating a SC with professional view (shop-in-one screen) with purchaser role, user cannot use adhoc approval function as the Button 'Add Approver' is not visible.
Though this option is visible in shopping wizard and PO screen.
This is very important function for our business process as we are extensively using shop-on-behalf function and need to use it with Ad-hoc approval functionality.
Pls suggest.

Hello Prashant,
On the SC screen you will have an option called Display or Edit agents. Click that Hyperlink and from there you will get a option to add the adhoc approvers or reviewers.
This option will be available in the left hand side top display of the sc above the item preview table.
From the item details --> Approval Process Previe tab you will not have this option as standard design.

I have found the add approver and reviewer working fine if i active standard workflow WS14000133 but the same funtionlity does not working the custom one which is copy of WS14000133.. Is there any thing do i need to active or add or what?

Add default reviewer for standard hazmat SC approval

Good afternoon everyone,
is there a way to add default reviewer always to show up on approval preview for haz materials shopping cart??? I am using standard wf template ws 10000129. do i have to copy it and make some changes or is ther eany way i can add default reviewer in this workflow itself? help would be greatly appreciated.

Which SRM versioan re you using ? Are you using Standard / Customized workflow ? At SC Level or Item level workflow ?

There is no standard way to add a reviewer (except from approval preview). But check if functions BBP_PDH_WFL_REV_DB_UPDATE or BBP_PDH_WFL_REVIEWER_INSERT could help you.

I have implemented the n-level approval WF WS14000133 through the BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI.
Can anyone tell me whether it is possible thorugh disable the "ADD APPROVER" and "ADD REVIEWER" button on the approval preview screen???

Hi Disha,
you can use BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW to determine whether users can add approvers and reveiwers.
There is a sample implementation for this BADI that can be copied and an example in the documentation for this BADI.

On the face of it,I have couple of points for you to check it out.
1.
Please check the agent assignment at the header level of the workflow.
Go to transaction PFTC -> Select workflow template -> 14000133 (or
whichever workflow you are using) -> Display -> Additional data ->
Agent Assignment -> Maintain -> Attributes -> Select radio button
'General Task' .. or instead of everybody being able to make changes
you can set the agent assignment of the workflow at role level.
Please also review note 581191.
2.Check if this button is not visible or not for all the roles.
3.Check any portal enhancements or Metadata config to make it display.

ADD approver when WS14000109 is active.

I have a special requirement, to add an additional approver in the shopping cart.
WS14000109 is active and working fine.
The buttons ADD APPROVER & ADD REVIEWER are existing on the screen, but not enabled.
Tried changing the security settings (0/1/2/3/4) no luck..
I have read through the posts here ......nothing works.
Did anyone resolve this.
I donot want to implement N- Step BADI...workflow.

Work flow WS14000109 which is activated in your system is a work flow
"Approval n-step over Value Limit".
In this work flow no "Adhoc Anchor" step is configuared that is why ADD approval & Add reviewer functionality is missing .
If you analyze the Workflow WS10000031 which is two step approval standard workflow in workflow builder you will find that Adhoc Anchor step.

Add Approver/ Rewiever error

Hi Gurus,
We have currently upgraded EBP 4.0 version from SP5 to SP11.
When clicking on the Add Approver button, getting pop up "No Possible Processor Found for approval task. Inform system admin" and not fetching any list of agents.
When clicking on the Add Reviewer, it is not bringing any pop up or other error/warning screen.

This BADI deactivation started throwing other error message class BBP_WFL and no 038.
This problem has been resolved by changing the include LBBP_PDH_WFLF02 and function module BBP_PDH_WFL_APP_ASSIGNTYPE_GET.

Cannot add or update this document; rows are missing [Return - Freight ]

Hello Experts,
I am using 8.8 PL15 I have implement Approval Procedure on every Return Document.After approval when I tried to add document using Logistic user it creates following error message.
Cannot add or update this document; rows are missing [Return - Freight - Freight Code][line: 0] [Message 131-198]
There is no any additional freight on Return & Delivery.There is no freight on base document also.
When i add same document through manager then it add successfully to system.

There may be two reason for this...
1. Freight accounts are not mapped . Doesn't matter you are using or not these in document .
2. Check items are not in negative ?

Printer communication error and cannot add a new printer

I was happily using my Epson Artisan 810 printer this morning, connected wirelessly to my iMac. All of a sudden I cannot print, get "Communication Error". Checked Epson's website, no luck there. Re-checked my wireless settings on the printer itself and re-confirmed them, it will print test pages from the printer, but still not communicating with the iMac. I thought that removing the printer and then adding it back in might help, but now I cannot add any printer at all.
I resorted to my MacBook Pro, and now have the same problem with this as well.
Any ideas please? What else can I check. My internet and so on are fine. The printer itself shows the wireless icon and says the reception is excellent on the printout it produced.

It would be unusual for only Bonjour to stop working in the printer. The more likely is that the printer is set to a different network subnet to that for your Mac or, as you mentioned, something like a firewall is blocking it.
The IP addressing is the most common cause. If there is a process to view or print the network settings for the Epson, then this will show what IP address range it has, which should be the same as your Mac. With the IP address, there will be four sets of numbers. For a typical home network, the first three sets are known as the IP subnet, while the last set is the network address. For example, a device with an IP address of 10.0.1.5, has an IP subnet of 10.0.1 and a network address of 5. For your Mac to 'see' the printer, both devices would need the same IP subnet, while having a different network address. So if you can check what IP address the Epson has, you may find it is using a different IP subnet to your Mac.
